Great time golfing here! By no means am I a experienced golfer, in fact I've heard others say the complete opposite. However I do know how to have fun golfing and this place did the trick! I won't go into detail on the course as I really don't know much about what makes a course good or bad. The carts we're fun to drive though! One negative thing is that I did lose a couple balls but that's probably more on me than anyone else. In conclusion I would golf here again and recommended to others!

Have driven by this place many times. Have heard about it from many people. Was not impressed. Staff was fine, helpful and all good but the course...wow! Not a good wow! Cart paths were atrocious! Washed out and bumpy. Confusing layout. Lacking signage. Fairways were patchy. Greens weren’t horrible but certainly not great...just lacking general maintenance. This is one of the most expensive courses in the area and the worst I’ve played on by a long shot. You can find better...

Awesome course and a good price

Friendly staff and nice course

Gorgeous field and scenery for golfing. Wouldn't recommend for special events unless you are looking a cheap option. Only served cheapest alcohol, gave me the meat meal when I stated I was vegetarian, and then still didn't get what I was supposed to.

Had a golf game booked for 9:16 am, arrived before 9 am and paid for my 18 holes. I went to the starter and the idiot gave my tee time away. I ended up playing 9 holes by myself and left. What a bunch of amatures and so unprofessional. This is why I don't play at public courses.

Nice course at a good price. Only thing I would suggest is they leave the rough a little taller and cut the fairways shorter or more often.

Great prices for a great course

Great layout big greens .Fairways are good can't say the same for the greens lots of dead spots and pretty slow !! We still had fun pretty forgiving golf course.

My first time playing at Ariss today. I'm a single figure player and found it to be a great challenge and a nice layout. We started on the willow and finished playing the lakes. I would say there's one thing holding this course back and that's the fairways - if an investment could be made to setup sprinklers on the fairways, this course could be pretty fantastic. Unfortunately it's been hot recently and the Willows course, being slightly uphill from the water, was extremely dry. Fairway grass was long (I'd imagine they're scared to cut it too short in this heat) and it's hard to distinguish the fairways from the rough. Greens were playing well with some tough front pin positions. Lakes course was in better condition seeing as there is more water around. Other than that, a good day out and I shall be returning once we get a few days of rain!

Went there for a wedding. It was beautiful and they served a great meal.

Great round of golf. No waiting. Finished in good time.

My work had the Christmas party here. Staff was polite and accommodating and the food was amazing. Can't wait to try out the golf this summer.

Golf course is well taken care of...beer cart drives by often, and food is great .

Course was in reasonable shape considering all the heavy rain. There was a tourney going on but staff fit us in and were nice about it. Highly recommend this course. Kudos to staff

Great course. Very well groomed lots of different hazards to navigate around without being to difficult.

Loved golfing here! Staff was above and beyond.

Staff are friendly, course is well kept and rates are fair. I enjoy golfing this course.

Nice golf course

Great place to play some casual, but challenging golf.. Course is kept in wonderful shape! And staff are very friendly.

The course is in bad shape, from the peeling paint on the clubhouse to the burnt fairways and greens. I was also frustrated to have to try to avoid lawnmowers when teeing off on nearly every hole (despite teeing off later in the morning). The course is well laid out and should be a relaxing and fair challenge, but for the price, I really wish I'd gone elsewhere.

Challenging course! Very nice course, can’t wait to play again!

Arias is a well maintained course that will challenge both the beginner and the experienced player.

Peetty good golf & good food. Rental clubs were ok.

Our front 9 was the lakes. . . Let's jus say I went "swimming"a couple of times. Great long holes, that were well maintained with soft greens, as long as you stayed on the fairway. Found it really hard to find your ball in the rough. We would watch the ball all the way down, only to get to the area, and couldn't find it because the grass is just too long. Nice relaxing scenic views made the challenging 9 easier to deal with my bad score. Then came the pines.. . Easy to play, but with long holes and faster greens. So gauging distance and power when putting must be tweaked when comparing them against the greens from the front 9. Lots of open space, so get out your driver and givher. This 9 was also well maintained but with the same comments about the rough. Overall service was fantastic and would consider going back, but the drive for me is an hour a way. Make sure to wear sunscreen, overcast or not. I learned the hard way.

Just 10 minutes north of Guelph, well maintained course.

nice golf club

Beautiful course, in my opinion one of my favourite public courses, well kept, nice people, and some great holes!!

Great day And hospitality

Food was excellent. Fairways have declined in maintenance since I golfed here last. Good for tournaments because of its 27 holes.

Great course, challenging but also forgiving

You can always find a tee off time! That's a plus.

Beautiful course. Having the variety of 27 holes and the scenery keeps me coming back. Great course to walk as well ! Would highly recommend

Fantastic course for the price and friendly helpful staff. With 27 holes spaced well, interesting variety to play and a medium challenge course I'll be coming back regularly! Marshal is also a gem as is every staff member I've dealt with!

Always fun.

Good golf course for any levels of players

It's close to Guelph and lots of fun holes.

Challenging course. I play every week when ladies league available

Enjoyable course

Nicely manicured and staff friendly. Good food as well.

A nice country setting, friendly, lovely staff

Beautiful spot with 27 holes. Staff is friendly and they course is well maintained. Good prices for the quality of the courses as well.

My friends and I love the course. Have played there numerous times over the last three years. Unfortunately, since restrictions have been lifted, the owner of the course refuses to manage the course in favour of the player over getting whatever monies he can. In numerous occasions this year, we play the front nine with little to no wait each hole only to find after the crossover to the back, the owner has loaded up that nine with a bunch of new groups leading to excessive slow play for the back nine. We have tried nicely to get this corrected but the owner refuses to bend. A very very grumpy man. I feel so bad for the staff as they are the one’s who have to deal with the complaints and they will tell you quietly that they agree with the greed of the owner. Sadly will not go back.

came here for a wedding - food was amazing, and the venue itself was amazing!

I can only judge on the room that we were in the room ( hall ) was very clean , linens were nice on the tables, decor was well done. I was there for a celebration of life for a distant friend so we didn't stay for lunch. Food smelled wonderful. Self service was done pleasant. We may be back there for a Wedding next year so I should have more to let you know.

Nicely maintained course. 3 9 holes. Friendly staff and good food.

Great and fun and cozy Golf Club that is well maintained. Clubhouse is great with amazing food and very friendly staff. I just wish they would have spelled my name right for my golf club

Great shape.

Allow drunk drivers after they serve them

Course was in horrible shape, dead grass everywhere and either the mowers were broken or the staff was on strike. Lost balls in the middle of the fairway (at least I think it was the fairway, hard to tell with how long the grass was and how much dead grass was on top). To top it off the starter had a horrible attitude and gave us grief about putting clubs on a cart. After paying for a cart and seeing there was only one cart left to use with nobody else around, not sure what the issue was, but he did not have to be so rude about it. NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS COURSE

Excellent . Friendly easy going ,nice course

I've played here before but this year there was something different. Aside from the course challenging every part of my game I was surprised by the great food they have there this year along with the super friendly staff. The only problem I had on that day was my score. Lol Had such great experience that I had to share.

They've got a nice lunch menu.

Love the golf course and the amenities

Very much enjoy playing at this course

Dried out. Nothing's been mowed.tee blocks are rock hard and shaggy. An this is a week after the lock down was lifted. So for over a month of lock down.......

With three 9s, this is a really nice course.

My first time at a golf tournament. And it couldn't have been a more enjoyable experience. I will definitely be returning

Worst groomed coarse I have ever experienced. Large clumps of grass and dirt in the"fairways" if you could even call them that. The grass was so long that I lost my ball off drives that went straight down the middle. Not to mention that I've half of the holes were cart path only so made it even harder not being able to drive around while aimlessly searching through the long grass and clumps of the"fairway" . For the above average cost of green fees I would expect a lot more out of the groundskeeping.

Great course

Great local golf and reasonable priced!

Ariss Valley is a good value friendly course where there appear to be a lot of friends and family playing. The course is in fair shape but I personally find it too difficult. I'm a 16 HC. Unless you are well over 200 off the tee you can only reach 1 or 2 par 4's in regulation.

Still a little wet. But nice to play there as usual

Ariss is one of my faves. It has three very long 9-hole courses that are perfect for the modest golfer. You can switch it up each time that you go to give a different experience.

We hosts. Tournament here every year. Food is excellent and the staff is great and accommodating. Course is nice and fun to play.

Was there for wedding...the food was delicious

For the price cannot go wrong. I played after a very rainy night and the only issue was the sand traps were too wet to play. The greens were still good. Pull cars are free which is a very nice bonus.

Amazing food and price, also there was a lot of variety with courses as there were 27! I will return soon and advise others to come here to!

Great place to golf

Decent enough course, large greens but they're tiered and can be tricky. No driving range so be prepared to go off cold. 27 holes one with significant water.

Lots of parking available by the club house so you shouldn't have to worry. For $63 to play 18 holes with a power cart is a crazy price for this course. Ive paid a lot less to play far nicer courses. Would not recommend this course at that price. It should be $15-20 cheaper. Played The Pines and The Lakes courses for my 18 holes. Very challenging layout for a first-time golfer at this location. Hard to know where to aim because there were a lot of blind holes. Not a fan of the layout of most of the Pines course. The Lakes course needs better signage on some holes as there are multiple locations with 2 tee blocks side by side with differe t holes. We drove past a few not knowing which tee block we were supposed to be at. The clubhouse's exterior needs some work done as shingles are missing and some of the accents are dated. Inside the club house it was very nice. Food took far longer than it should for a hot dog (about 10 mins). The staff was friendly and helpful and so were the other golfers on the course. The carts here are electric which is a big plus, but ours had no power steering so getting the cart to turn proved more difficult than one would like at slow speeds.

Great facility. Location is perfect.

beautiful golf course

This is a nice course, I played the pines. It was nice that the majority of the holes on the nine are playable with a driver. Plenty of obstacles on this courses but also open enough to make some good shots. Very fun to have good changes in elevations. Went at 6pm in August and it was beautiful.

Nice golf course

Staff was very friendly and helped me out a lot, as it was my first time.

Excellent course with fantastic club house and staff.

My first round at Ariss Valley this weekend and it will be my last. Much too expensive for what you get ($150 for two players and one cart). The tee boxes were in rough shape, the garbage bins were full at 7 am and seemed like the rough hadn't seen a mower in weeks. Overall a poor experience.

Course is in pretty decent shape. Unfortunately our 3.75hrs usual round today was made into a 4.75hrs round due to very very poor/slow play, marshals unfortunately failed to make any adjustments. Sad to see a course I enjoy fail to meet minimum standards on weekends

Quite a lot of hills and some blind drives make it hard to keep pace safely, but very well kept course with half decent greens

(Translated) Although it is far from Mississauga, there are 3 courses of 27 holes, so you can enjoy a variety of courses, and it is a good course with beautiful scenery. (Original) 미시사가에서 거리가 멀지만 27홀의 3코스가 있어서 다양한 코스를 즐길수 있으며 경치도 아름가운 좋은 코스 입니다.

Great course

Great place to keep your special event. Www.zattuphotobooth.ca

Great place

Great Christmas decor, great food

Great course, a little pricey.

Place is off the hook

Tee boxes not in good shape Greens winter kill not fixed Fairways in good shape

Great golf course

Was expecting to play but still too wet lol aaaah well ..next weekend I guess

Great event facilities and golf

Food is excellent

Excellent

Great staff, challenging greens

Nice course, alot of walking for the walkers. Felt alittle disorganized with the tee off setup. But all in all id play ther again

Absolute garbage. Overpriced and under serviced. No grass on the tees and the greens hadnt even been rolled. They charged us $133 with cart for two players. I won't be going back.

Joining the ladies fun league this year. Looks like it's going to be great, just like last year.

27 holes.

Great staff !!

Great track at excellent prices. A go-to for sure!

Challenging layouts requiring intelligent shot placement to avoid uneven lies and course hazards. We played the Willows nine and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Great value!!!! Warning. Course maintenance is an issue (maybe Covid related), uneven tee boxes, fairways under repair, exposed drainage pipes.

In wet weather conditions this course is not maintained to minimal golf course standards. You can’t even find your ball in the middle of some fairways because of the high grass and soggy ground. Wait for dry weather to tee-up.

Great venue! Food excellent. Hall was clean and nicely appointed. Service was fantastic.

Great Course.

Great food, great concern and effort to supply special dietary requirements such as gluten free and vegetarian. This was at a Commercial Christmas function. Very impressive, excellent, service. We without question will go back. Highly recommended.

Will golf here again!

Last night I we went to a Christmas Party at the golf course. There were over a 120 people and the staff did a great job.

Nice course and facilities. Moderate length yet very challenging for all golfers. Recommended

Lovely setting, luncheon good but late serving

Great shape and layout

A good course, with lots of space. I never feel rushed.

It was nice to be on the course so early in the season on March 20. The course was soft and wet in areas. The greens had many foot prints and were not groomed yet, but they were playable. Pace of play was decent, even with the amount of people on the course at 4:00pm. I rated it a 4 because the course did have some rough spots but that is expected for the first weekend of the season. We are considering going back, but will wait until it warms up a bit more.

Great course. Good course management needed to play. Friendly staff.

The greens have a lot of holes in them they're pretty hard to play on June 1st 2021

Nice course

Decent round but HUGE greens on a lot of them. Also several blind shots on some but overall well maintained. The starter was completely clueless on Fathers Day tho???

27 holes of very challenging golf.

Some of the greens could use more water. Other than that a fabulous course.

Beautiful course. Lots of fun.

Nice golf course.

Very wet and rough needed cutting. It was easily 4-5”. Spent way too much time looking when it shouldn’t have been necessary. Also, asked staff about a range. Their answer was just “No, sorry”. Later found out there were a couple practice nets, which we would’ve used. Why was this not offered?? Will not go back sorry.

Update: Visited again today, everything is perfect, everything. In general the experience is great, but the on day we played, dead cut grass is everywhere. A lot of workers work around the course and stare at you while you making a swing is not really my kind of favorite experience.

Very nice

I'm not much of a golfer, but I had a great time when I was there. The staff was friendly and the course was challenging and very well maintained.

Very nice course.

Wonderful place, great food. Friendly staff. They helped make tonight's NYE wedding I dj'd amazing!

Gorgeous green. Friendly staff. Beautiful location for a wedding!

Great place to golf

Great food for events and the views from the main building are wonderful!

Unorganized starter course fair

Great day . First time out in 2 years . Had a blast

Played as a twosome on August 9th and this course needs water, which is funny because they have lots of water hazards over the 27 holes. All the greens on the Willows are burnt, brown and non-receptive. Definitely not worth the $70 (riding) that they are currently charging. I won't be recommending or going back anytime soon

Was there on the weekend. Staff is nice but the course is in rough shape. I played there in Aug of last year and it was the same then. Roughs are 8-10 inches long. The fairways are cut and dead grass left everywhere. No matter how straight your shot is be prepared to loose balls. So disappointing as it's a very nice layout. And on top of how rough the course is they charge $63. I feel ripped off !

I played Lakes/Willow on a weekday and the value was amazing. The Lakes was in good shape, but I found some of the greens on Willow to be beat up. Overall, it was a great place to play.

Good food

Staff was great and a nice course

(Translated) Nice course and good food for a tournament. (Original) Nice course and good food foar a tournament.

Great course, very challenging for the average 90-100 shot golfer, haven't gotten a chance to check out the club house but I will definitely be golfing here again as it is only 20mins from my house.

The customer service at Ariss Valley is top notch! I will be celebrating my wedding at this venue in September and can't say enough good things about how pleasant the experience has been so far. Don't overlook this hidden gem!

Was wet on my first visit, much better on further visit. They do have a issue with drainage.

Great golf course. I don’t think you can get a more beautiful golf course for the price. Since it has 27 holes it doesn’t feel crowded, even though we went on a Saturday.

We love this course. Great food too! Unfortunately since covid they are so desperate to pack as many people in that they force you to join another twosome if you book as a pair, which we are not impressed with. Also last few times we were out the beer cart only ever passed us once.

Good option for 9 or 18

They know how to cook steak

Decent course and well priced

Great place to golf! The food is good and the service is on par!

Golf was great. Staff was Awesome thanks for a great day Brian Langley

Friendly staff.Reasonable prices.Good place to play.

Beautiful course but the Marshall's and staff aren't spectacular, impolite, unorganized and just not what you come to expect when paying the money it costs ti play here, if you're looking for a driving course this is the one, but expect snobby Marshall's and pushing the pace of play

Challenging course. Lakes especially. Great cart service.

Challenging enough for an open course. Greens were pretty beat up

Clean course. No beer cart when I was there. Might be new protocol?

wonderful staff, good facilities, amazing food and the course played well.

Beautiful course terrible management tee off time for 1:30 and told to wait and not given any reasons why. Over booked and no organization what so ever

I love it here.

Very nice Golf course at a reasonable price....friendly staff would definitely recommend it!

The staff and course were awesome.

Awesome coarse. Great service.

Great course for beginners to intermediate

Was there for a work Safety meeting and Christmas lunch buffet and the food was excellent and staff friendly

Terrible customer service. Had to avoid lawnmowers all round. Made me fill my own cup of water from the bathroom tap, when they have a tap behind the counter. When I asked the staff a question the were very unprofessional. Probably will never play again.

Nice 27 hole course

Good course. Good pro staff. Not so good food or service at kitchen.

Hot day. Nice course. No beer cart...bummer

Excel·lent and friendly service!! Great way to spend the day during these difficult times. Thank you very much.

They need to plant more shade trees to get to a five star.

Very nice venue and good food

Watch out for lakes course, challenging with alot of water...

Such a great course for the price, I only wish this was closer to GTA

Poor excuse for a "Golf Course." Fairways are maybe cut once a week. Pin placements might change every 4 or 5 days. The tee-blocks are not even remotely close to level and have no grass. Don't waste your time or money here.

Fun golf course

Very nice course with great views

Love it, the lakes 9 are the best

Great food. Can have drainage issues. For a public course greens and pun placement can be difficult

Maintenance maintenance maintenance!!! I wanna give this course 3.5 but I can't do half points. My son and I played the Pines and then the Lakes. The course has a beautiful layout. I would play it again just for that but they need to work on the upkeep. As you will see in some of my pictures that dandelions are in abundance in areas! Are you gonna spray?? Secondly, the bunkers are not well maintained with grass growing in them. The course seems run down. I will play 1 more time and if the maintenance has not improved then I will not come back!!

The boys are money hungry... 6 hours to play 18, packed in like sardines

Wonderful place to golf! The food is Amazing + the service is impeccable! Really enjoyed ourselves at this Beautiful course!????????????????????

Yearly golf tournament, great time, great food.. lovely course

Attended a company golf event here. The event was well organized and the course we great fun. Wish the lunch menu had more options tho!

Played the Lakes 9, then the Pines 9. The Lakes 9 seemed to be forgotten by the turf staff....we lost balls in the fairways from the leaves, and the fairways were super shaggy. The Pines 9 was in great fall shape, and the Willows 9 looked decent as well.

Fantastic and forgiving fairways.

Great course - friendly staff. Challenging greens.

found this to be a very " user friendly " golf course .... would certainly play here again

Nice course. Really nice place for special events.

Awesome course. Independent owned.

Course was in great shape. Staff was very accommodating.

Great course close to Guelph. Made it a fun Saturday. Nice and clean clubhouse. Had an awesome time.

Wonderful!

Great course. Some really tough holes. A lot easier the second time around once you know the course. It's in great shape and the greens are the best I have played so far this year (15 rounds).

Great course, 3 options of 9 nine holes.

Course in excellent shape. Covid protocols handled well. Nice layout, lots of room to mash my driver , we had a great day, and rebooked. Staff was friendly and courteous.

Great golf. Delicious food!

Love The Course layout but the greens were in terrible condition, very frustrating .. the maintenance needs to be better, probably won't play here again until that gets better.

Excellent wedding venue and good buffet

Coarses were good and had each different challenge to them.

One of my favorite course. Challenging layout that course management is needed at times. Staff is always friendly. Only a few times that it has been so busy that we had to wait at the tee decks.
