This park has an extensive network of paved multi-use trails that traverse varying terrain and scenery. It really is a beautiful area for biking/walking/running. There is also a lengthy mountain bike trail winding throughout the park complete with a few features to add even more fun. Don't forget about the tennis courts/baseball/softball fields and paved running loop with a few outdoor workout stations.

The playground has no shade except under it (which is normal unfortunately), other than that it's a great park, has plenty of activities to enjoy, and has public restrooms.

It's a really nice park overall. I mainly conne to play disc golf at one of the three courses they offer and we'll occasionally hit up parity island or the kids play area as well. It's all pretty well maintained. Obviously some bad apple's who litter, but nice overall.

Great place to take the kiddos to play but watch out for wasp nests. I smashed one that had several wasps and many eggs. To a child allergic to wasp venom this may have had serious consequences.

Great park with some great views. Great place for cross country running and biking. They also have very nice tennis courts!

Definitely don't expect a park this large in a city the size of Fort Smith. It's well maintained as well.

Great place to enjoy your day,(Parrot Island) but they screen your bags and confiscate any type of food or drink. It's best to pack a cooler and leave it in your car. Enjoy lunch from outside of the park, and then return. Concession stand is not very good and its price's are outrageous for the quality of the nuked burgers, and other blah blah items.

Great place to walk, play frisbee golf, go to the Water Park or play Gator Golf! Perfect family place for picnics with playground equipment for the kids. Soccer, golf, go-carts ... or just to sit and enjoy nature! Plenty of space for everyone!

I went here because I was told I could get a Covid-19 test. I was so distraught. The signs were very evasive and I got lost. When I finally found the tent, the area was blocked and closed.

Nice jogging trail and sand volleyball courts. The volleyball courts are well maintained and frequently used. I play pickup games there often and there are occasional leagues to join. Good restroom facilities on site and a few shaded pavilions for picnics. Great place to spend a day hanging out.

Nice family oriented park. Great place to ride a bike, play golf (regular, disc or mini), softball, soccer, have a family picnic, a water park that rivals many of the large ones I've been to. And this year a FlowRider surf simulator. Fort Smith is fortunate to have such a diverse park for family oriented entertainment.

We went for a Family Fun Day event. Food trucks were good, parking can be a bit tedious, but thankful the playground has canopies over most of the playground equipment. It can get brutally sunny and the plastic equipment gets hot fast. Nice to have bathrooms right next to the playground, too.

this park is a fun place for the whole family. Parrot island waterpark is located inside of it conveniently, there's also a mini golf court. There is lots of fun games why could disc golf course and all kinds of stuff that you can do!

Very difficult getting around in the park as far as roads are concerned. And when leaving 2 huge deer ran right directly in front of me in the park. Funny as it was it was scary.

Covid 19 has taken all the fun out of visiting this park. The kids playground is closed, no organized baseball or soccer, and not sure if public bathrooms are available. The golf course and mini-golf are open. There's also Frisbee golf. Lots of available space for picnicking. Parrot island water park is now only open Saturdays and Sunday.

Children's parks look like a lot of fun, however they are closed off without any signs indicating so at the entrance to the area. We had to drive our kids by the park and explain that it's still closed. Open our parks!!

This is a huge park. The ball fields are well managed and a great place for families and friends to have a great time. The only downfall is that the entrances to fields 1,2,3 and 4 are on one side. In and out. The gates are locked on the backside behind fields 1& 2. If there was an emergency, and those entrances were blocked, no one could get out fast without jumping the fence or cutting off the locks. Who carries bolt cutters with them to a park having fun.

Great park for everyone. Kids play area, long walking trail, disc golf, bike trails and more. Do a web search to learn more. Entry fee...NOT...open to public. I love going to this park.

This park is akways nice to go to. Our child loves the playground and making friends and the husband and I love the park benches under the trees. The bathrooms are clean considering its a public park. There's a lot more to do at this park than just the playground too. Also there's a ton of swings so I don't feel bad getting on an open one myself when there's not a lot of kids there.

Today I went for a Coronavirus test. Having a procedure on Tuesday. Now it's over and I'll quarantine until then. But Ben Geren Park is a great place to enjoy the pool and putt-putt golf or go-carts. It's got softball games throughout the season and batting cages to practice at. A really good place to BBQ and hang out!

The disc golf course is really run, got some long holes with fun challenges. I dont bike but I run the mountain bike trails, the scenery is great and you have a lot of options of various difficulties. The fitness trail is great too.
