This rating is for the mountain bike trail only. Lots of low areas that hold water. Drainage could be improved. Much of the trail was a gutter. It was, however, very nicely trimmed and well maintained. A couple nice man-made features. Too bad the drainage is so lacking that it pulls my rating down so low. If the drainage issue was fixed the trail could be a 3 rating.

I was a member here for over three years and hope to rejoin soon now that my work schedule has minimized quiet a bit. Most of the time you have a choice of 3 courses to play through via the starting rotation as assigned by the course management. Steve the course manager is a very nice man, BGGC has a really nice professional staff of cordial people working with you. My favorite two of the three courses is Magnolia and Willow, the trees are ever so beautiful throughout the spring summer and fall playing times. Silo is the longest playing course, roughly 5.7 miles I think and it takes the longest to play. They do not allow private golf carts, nor do they rent golf-cart sheds. Course is very well maintained and kept up in good-great shape weather permitting. Fairways are very fairly laid out and the greens are always clean, a huge plus is playing those smooth bend grass greens if those are your nitch.

Short of paying a small fortune in country club dues, Ben Geren Golf offers 27 amazing holes of golf at a great price. Nicely manicured, clean, late model carts and the best staff anywhere, bar none. (Including the high priced country clubs) Plus they are part of a echo- program that is saving the original prarie lands of Arkansas and Oklahoma and you can see the many plant species, beautifully surrounding some greens and along fairways. Tip: don't land in the rough. Schedule some time and enjoy this amazing golf experience. And while you're there, challange Downtown Matt Brown to a long drive contest. He's one of the top 25 in the world. My money is on Mr. Brown.

As far as the golf course goes, it's great! There are 3 nine hole courses which one is closed for maintenance right now. They are resurfacing and reconstructing the greens. When this is finished all greens will have Mini Verde grass. The other two courses are in fantastic shape.

Pretty nice for a public course. 3 nines. We played Willow/Silo Hills. Overall in good shape. Willow fairways were a little better greens need vertacut. Biggest bad about course were bunkers, just need better sand. Really need drinking water on course. Had one hot fountain on each nine. Definitely will play again when in the area for Hogg game. Great price. Great staff.

Wow, this place was nice. Especially for the money, you are getting a great deal playing at this 27 hole track. The pro shop is nice, and has a courteous and professional staff working at the counter. The course had great pace of play, and was manicured nicely and was in just gorgeous condition. Everything was lush and full. I wish I would have had more time while passing through Arkansas, would certainly recommend you stop by here to play golf.

The people were very friendly. The course was in good shape. The grass in the fairway always has your ball setting up. The greens were very smooth. Could use a little attention to the bunkers. Would play it again.

Ben Geren golf course is a well designed municipal layout. While it will never crack the top 100 in the US list, I think you that if you enjoy the game of golf you will enjoy playing the course. There are three nine hole layouts, and all are good but I would give the Silo nine the nod as the best. The Willow's 5th hole is a great risk-reward hole, the green is within driving distance but water lurks if you fail. The greens are dwarf bermuda, and while at first glance they might not look great, trust me they are quick and true. Overall the conditions at the course are what you would expect for a municipal layout, which is to say it is not a country club. But they get the important things right.

A diamond in the rough. My mom and I are golfing all 50 states together as our bucket list. We found this 27 hole golf course. We played magnolia and silo course. The silo course was a links style and really interesting. The course was in really good shape, but just a little wet with some puddles due to so much rain. A lot of fun.The guys at the club house and their pro were very friendly and helpful on giving us info on where to eat in town. Plus they put big hot dogs on the burner for us so when we came around the turn we were able to grab a bite. They tasted great. I'm glad we chose this course as our Arkansas state course. And again, great southern hospitality.

Greens look great and fairways are in great shape! Friendly staff clean clubhouse and bathrooms, newer fully operational carts.. reserve tee time before hand, busy on weekends! Willow is serene as can be and silo hill offers an exceptional challenge and is fun as ever!

The gentlemen in the pro shop were very pleasant, made me feel welcome! Pro shop is stocked well with plenty of hats, shirts,logo merchandise, golf bags, sunglasses, etc. Willow and Silo greens were awesome with no bad areas at all. They putted straighter than what you read in the break. Very Firm I.e. play for the front of the green. It is still a public course so fairways had some rough spots but it’s still early in the year for bermuda. The natural areas with prairie grass and wildflowers are gorgeous! I walked 18 holes and paid $14....what a deal!

The course maps are hard to see and the path for tye course is really hard to navigate and stay on track. Also there is only one basket on the course the map has two listed for eachbhole but there is only one.

I'm from south Florida and this golf course rivals some of the beat ones around my home town, low prices and beautiful views, the course is probaly one of the greenest ones I've ever seen and the actual greens are very quick, would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to play budget golf on a high end course
