Here we offer you all the feddbacks of people who are consuming the services and products of Thundering Waters Golf Club (Golf) in the area of Fort Erie (Canada).
Nowadays the business receives a rating of 4 stars over 5 and that rating was based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, the average of ratings that it reaches is very good, and it's based on a very large number of reviews, so we may conclude that the assessment is quite accurate. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they've done well with the service, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to give evaluations when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Golf corresponds to the category of Golf course.
Nice course...tight-ish I wouldn't recommend for beginners. But...I donated 3 balls in the first four holes...sooooo....what do I know? Managed to squeeze out an 84
Good Golf course, but Not as it was. Lack of Maintenance. Bankers are horrible Hard as Concrete... Fairways and Greens are Not that bad.
Nicest, most accommodating staff. I was on vacation and decided to play the night before. They managed to squeeze us out first. Beautiful place. I hope to get the chance to play there again.
Nice course, good value.
Great layout, thinking persons golf course.
It's unfortunate but I will not be returning to this course, the encroaching development of a 6 story Condo in the heart of the course makes concentrating extremely difficult, then the construction sound really makes for a disappointing experience, and the staff was sub par. Course is in fantastic shape, but homes and condos, are literally everywhere, paying a high premium for this course I feel should be re-evaluated, because development shows no signs of slowing down.
Course is in excellent shape, especially considering the dry summer. Pricing is very fair (green fees and f&b) and staff were pleasant. If you're going to play in Niagara, it's worth a visit.
Reasonable price for a course that is immaculate. Greens and fairways are in excellent condition, and it was not overbooked, so wait times on each tee were negligible.
Not a fan of this place. They chopped a few holes down to build houses. Short holes, no beer cart, bar in the middle of the course didn't open until after 1pm and very slow service in the club house. Go to Grand Niagara, Legends, Whirlpool or Royal Niagara but this place is a hard pass.
Love this course! We play it annually. Club staff are friendly and helpful.
Had a great day!
Reasonable price for a course that is immaculate. Greens and fairways are in excellent condition, and it was not overbooked, so wait times on each tee were negligible.
Sand traps everywhere. They were so wet and unplayable. Silly design short target golf.
Slow play lack of Marshal patrol ling the course
I like this course a lot... That said, the score card needs to be adjusted. Some of the "par 5s" are no longer par 5 length. They've shortened the course considerably since it first opened due to selling off land. If I can comfortably hit the green with a 3wood, pw that shouldn't be a par 5. Great course... Just adjust the scorecard (should be par 69 or 70).
Course was in good shape. Pace was ok although marshals don't really monitor.
Nice place to live
Not what it used to be. Bunkers were mud. Not wet sand... mud. Inexpensive though, otherwise may have been less stars.
Enjoyable golf experience
Very nice golf course excellent greens great club house and pleasant staff if your looking to play around of golf this is a great place to go
Nice course can be trouble with all the bunkers
Nice course.
Great course! Pace was slow as you'd expect for a Saturday morning but they stock Palm Bay coolers at the halfway house so your time will be well spent. Watch out for ticks this year apparently the Niagara region is experiencing a bit an infestation. Will definitely play again soon.
The staff was very friendly, but the conditions of the course were horrible. Bunkers were not well maintained, fairways were squishy from over watering, many tee blocks were bare with lots of crab grass (especially the Daly tees), and the greens were slow. Very strange layout, but the course has lots of potential. I would not recommend Thundering Waters at this price point until the bunkers are filled with sand instead of rocks and mud, and the course dries out substantially. Edit: We played here last year, and they have done a great job of getting the course back in shape. Changed rating from one star to four.
Good value for the money.
Course was in great shape for the final day of the season.
This is beautiful golf course near Niagara Falls. And very close to marine land. The sight is breathtaking specially in winter. It's a well equipped facility.
Very picturesque course and tight, bring your A game to play this course
Great course. In pretty good shape even in late fall
Great golf, good times!
Good course!
Good course
Very expensive but the course is very interesting and well maintained. No driving range or chipping area.
Great course, well maintained
As noted by others, this course has seen better days. The bunkers are unusable and a housing development has surrounded the course and reduced some hole lengths. Such a shame. If you do play, bring lots of balls...lots of water and trees.
The Course itself is a well laid out, challenging course. It is also well manicured so for the course i would give it 5 stars. Where the course lacks is in management, we were supposed to tee off at 2:25 in the afternoon, got off around 2:45, then it took us 6 HOURS to play because there was no marshall or course official telling the slow groups in front of us to speed up. There were times where there were 2 groups ahead of us at the next tee blocks, and we waited close to half an hour just to tee off. The course needs to improve pace of play and it would be a winner
Thundering Waters Golf Club, located a couple of kilometres from Niagara Falls, is home to a well-rated and pleasantly testing layout. This tree-lined and open-links-style course should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy.
golf course is well kept a pleasure to play .. definitely need control of your tee shots as some of the farways are a little tight ...not a peticularly long course but requires concentration for shot placement...
(Translated) Beautiful new condo next to (Original) Belle place nouveau condo a coté
Nice course. Not that long (considerin it's a John Daly course) but it's a good challenge. It's in great shape. Pricing is now at the right level.
The Greens are in perfect condition, that being said, they are very well sloped to knock your strokes up to dizzying heights.
Beautiful golf course located near the Falls in Niagara, with a lovely and unique housing development right on the property.
This is a good course. Not expensive. Although I didn't like that they wanted to make us wait for other people to play with us. I pay money to enjoy private time with the person I came with, not with people I don't know. Also, our cart stalled in halfway, we were a little scared, but after a couple of minutes everything was fine. Aside from these downsides, this would be nice course.
Over priced
Thundering disappointment. Chopped up the course to build houses. A 404 yd. part 5?? They ruined a beautiful golf course
Very peaceful place
Awesome course. However they always seem to book tee times 5 mins apart which makes for a really long day. REALLY slow pace everytime I've played. If you have 6+ hours to play 18 it's a good course
Good course
Greens were in great shape. Fairways were wet but fair. Disappointed the proshop was empty. Overall had a good day!
Beautiful well groomed course. Lots of challenges. Greens were in great shape.
Very nice place
A nice course, but it's in rough shape. Soaking wet fairways, beat up tee boxes, ponds in the bunkers, and torn and tattered signs. Definitely a challenging course though.
Played July 8, 2018. Course is in good shape. Many sand traps, but not great traps. Very thin sand. Bring your A game or have lots of balls. All the houses and now condo have taken away from the experience of playing golf there. Not sure if I will come back.
I hear it's good
Great course
not a very good experience for our first time. First off we were planning on having something to eat before our game but they had ran out of sandwitches. Secondly, maintenance staff were out on the course following us around to clean up with their loud tractors, it was very hard to concentrate there were three of them at once on every hole. We finally sat out a hole so that they could get ahead of us in order to have some quite. Never saw the a marshal during the whole game. We were told that it was pad only but noticed other teams in front of us were driving on the fairways. On the plus side, the grounds were well kept that's about it. Will never go back. Too expensive for what you get, there are plenty of outher courses that are much more comparable.
Great course. Even though they have shortened it to build condos, still challenging with the 100s of deep bunkers.
I golf every weekend all over. I came up for a holiday and found this course. Very beautiful lots of bunkers and nice and challenging. Wish this course was back home I would become a member
We've played this course dozens of times over the past few years, and every time we do, it's a different game, a different challenge. Don't be deceived by the seemingly short length of the course -- with all the bunkers, water and trees, it's a challenge. You'll love it. We do. In fact, it was a determining factor in us buying a townhome here!
Fun course, odd but fun. Always clean
Good golfing
This course used to be prestigious. White sand traps and Now there's 4 foot tall weeds growing out of sand traps, No grass on the tee boxes, poor drainage and it seems like most of the sand traps have been shrunken or abandoned due to maintenance costs. They've lowered the price, but we used to drive out to niagara to play this course, and we will no longer. If I were John Daly, I'd be ashamed to have my "signature" on this"signature course". The value is still ok, but I can get better value closer to home.
Very nice golf course. I'm new, and it was almost too challenging. Lots of hazards and bunkers. As far as housekeeping goes, great greens, great holes. Good carts.
Excellent course well maintained friendly staff
Very nice course!
Teddy beautski course!
Would not recommend
Love the place.
Beautiful course.
Great course. I love the back 9 but didn't get a chance to see the front 9.
Great course, really nice
A very nice facility and very well maintained
This is beautiful golf course near Niagara Falls. And very close to marine land. The sight is breathtaking specially in winter. It's a well equipped facility.
The course was in great shape and was a lot of fun to play. It's a beatable course if you play smart and stay out of the hazards. Ordered breakfast upon arriving at the course and was disappointed that the breakfast sandwich was pre-cooked and had to be re-heated in a warmer. For some reason they turned the sprinklers on while we were playing the 2nd hole at 11:30 in the morning and the grounds crew on the 13th hole couldn't be bothered moving away or shutting off their trimmers while we teed off. Apparently raking the traps don't apply to them either as their work boot footprints were all over.
Looks nice
Great course. Fairways and greens were in great shape. It's my 2 ND time there and one thing that needs to improve is pace. Wayyyyyyy to slow.
Very challenging course with narrow fairways. Beautiful course.
Just sit & watch
Very nice course. Tight fairways and fast greens.
Nice course. I just wonder why they slapped a high rise condo building right in the middle of the course? I guess the answer is always money. Unfortunate though. Kinda ruins the aesthetic.
The tee boxes were in terrible shape
The greens are good however, the bunkers are really tough and make it challenging to play this short course - the bunkers, many of them, are deep, tough and have weeds/grass growing out of them. Avoiding this club until the reviews post better results on the bunkers
Nice course
Played this course this past week. All I can say is they have neglected the course’s maintenance. The bunkers are the worse I have seen over my 20 years of golfing. The initial reason we were given was all the rain this past year. Then COVID. When bunkers are growing grass and weeds, it’s not rain or COVID, it’s neglect. The fairways and cart paths were in terrible condition as well. The only highlight was the neglected architecture of the course and Lion’s Den. It would be a fantastic course if better cared for.
Course was in great shape despite the heavy rain from the previous night. Upon arrival I tried to check in my entire group (myself and 3 men) as I pre paid online. I was told I couldn't as someone else would have to sign for the other cart. We booked the third tee time in hopes to play under 4 hours. The starter allowed a group of 4 men that were booked behind us to tee off first. ***5 hour round, as the third tee time*** We were hit into twice after speaking with the group behind us, sharing all of our frustration for slow play due to the group they let out in front of us. No Marshall was to be found anywhere on the course. I will never return to this golf course. As if this wasn't enough, the starter had the audacity to tell us we didn't listen and "the cart return is in the barn." Clearly professionalism and customer service don't rank high at Thundering Waters.
Amazing golf course ever played at
The general manager was amazing! The new construction going on here is going to make this our "go to" destination when we're here in Niagara!
Course was in great shape, had fun golfing!
Challenging course in excellent condition.
Much better courses in the area. Grand Niagara, Battlefield, Ushers Creek, Whirlpool are much better tracks and these other courses don't have rude, power tripping marshalls. Do everyone a favour and just sell the course to developers.
Target course, very tight fairways. Bring lots of balls.
Not very impressed.
Well kept coarse. A little wet this year
It's a decent golf club with friendly staff

Thundering Laughter - aka WHAT. A. JOKE. This golf course, sadly, is perfectly analogous to John Daly's career - from a distance it looks illustrious, refined, and worthy of the highest praise...but when you take a closer look, you're disappointed to see that it's rife with serious neglect, riddled with poor decisions, and littered with beer cans (Literally...no joke...there are beer cans & bottles ALL over the course, just a few feet off the cart paths on most holes). Anyone who works on the grounds crew at this course should be utterly ashamed of themselves. Mangled teeboxes, dry, sandy greens, and the bunkers...MY GOD, THE BUNKERS!. Just see my attached photos for a few examples of what this place considers passable for sand traps. On one hole we saw two kids raking a trap, which we thought might be a promising sign. But they did half of the one trap and left...completely ignoring the other 4 traps around the green. How it is that a John Daly course can only be 6700 yards from the tips is beyond me. Oh, and those "Daly Tees"? Some of them are barely bigger than a yoga mat. I was a little surprised to see that they didn't sell any logoed gear in the pro shop, but after playing there, I know why. I sure as heck wouldn't want to pay money to advertise this course...especially considering I'm mad enough that I paid money to PLAY it.

Very challenging in a good way. Makes you think!
Just like John Daly this course is battling against its own personal demons.
Greens are slow, bunkers have little sand in the them and the ones that do are washed out. Crab grass everywhere. Save your money.
Course in great shape. Love this course, scenic and challenging. Obviously during Covid there are a few restrictions but they are there for a reason. Play it you won't be disappointed.
Course is OK but IMO the customer service is lacking. The course marshal we experienced doesn't have the P2P skills to be interacting with people who pay good money to play there. If you plan on golfing in the area I would strongly recommend you try out Rolling Meafows instead.
Excellent condition, fun to play ... a little cut up, since it was altered for residential development
Played here about a dozen times. I enjoy this layout, short but challenging. Last round played June 7. Fairways…good, Tee boxes…most of them good, Greens…good, nice speed, Bunkers…terrible! Not sure how a well maintained course like this can let there bunkers be neglected. Grass and weeds growing out of them. I should of took a photo as proof. Good pace of play...4 hrs to complete. All the new homes and condos on tenth tee are making this course look like its not going to last long before developers eat it up, don’t know but just my guess.
Nice course- a little wet
Great shape.
Thundering Waters hosted my annual golf tournament. I am absolutely ecstatic with how the event went. Mathew Milne and his staff at Thundering Waters put together an amazing event that ran smoothly from the get-go. When guests arrived, he had all of our carts numbered and ready to go, all of our groups got out exactly on time and the course was in pristine condition! The marshals had all 6 closest-to-the-pin sheets ready to go out on the course, and the longest drive and closest-to-the-barrel. I have been to many golf tournaments in the past, and I have to say that Mathew and the staff at Thundering Waters put on a top class event! After golf, we had a steak dinner in the Banquet Tent. The food was hot and tasted great. They even have a fully stocked bar in the tent as well. The icing on the cake for all guests was the custom beer that Mathew got for us. It was a great touch to the event and made all the guys laugh hysterically! We will definitely be coming back to Thundering Waters! Thank you Mathew and staff!
Beautiful and quite a good course
This is beautiful golf course near Niagara Falls. And very close to marine land. The sight is breathtaking specially in winter. It's a well equipped facility.
If you're in Niagara falls, definitely worth playing
Rained out tonight but managed a cold one on the patio
Not bad
I always enjoy playing here. We played the first day after our 6th lockdown. I don’t think I’ve ever seen bunkers in such bad shape. You can’t even play in them. WATCH OUT FOR TICKS. THEYRE EVERYWHERE. I have found 4 in the 18 hours. Please check yourself if you go anywhere near the long grass.
Played here for a golf tournament the course was great. Mat Milne and his staff were all top notch.
Wanted to this from the time it opened. Finally got the chance this year, wasn't very impressed. Felt like I was holding in a subdivision. Some tees are pretty far apart.
The sickest course ever made
What a let down... Just returned from a golfing wknd with co-workers and unfortunately our last round was playing this course. Unfortunately we had just played Peninsula lakes the previous day so very tough competition I must say. We were looking forward to playing a course that was designed by an actual PGA player and I think we all really enjoyed the challenge presented by a number of holes and the layout but the course it looking run down. I wish I had played it 5 years ago because I believe a number of holes were changed to accommodate homes. Now there are numerous holes that are just over 100 yds. It appears anyone that can hold a club also wants to play a PGA player designed course and the fairways show it. Additionally we played behind a bachelor party and at one point were waiting 30 mins to tee off at a hole and had pretty long waits at a majority of them. I think obviously they have lost some experienced staff and things are tough because even down to basic management such as making sure there were any Marshals to keep things going as they should. Again, from a technical perspective I enjoyed the challenge but many better courses at the moment in Niagara to play at.
Really enjoy playing this course. Everything was great, except the BUNKERS. I understand that bunkers are expensive to maintain, the sand is special and that means expensive. The bunkers were dirt, clay and rocks, if you cannot maintain the bunkers with sand, sod them over.
Challenging, not for rookies.
Absolutely amazing first time experience thanks so much
Great course, moderately challenging and we'll manicured. I recommend a cart as the holes don't all follow eachother and there is a bit of a distance between a few holes.
Great golf course! Beautiful holes, we had a great time.
Horrible layout and super slow. 6000 yards from black tees makes no sense.
Glow in the dark golf was sooo fun!!
Extremely wet course, not enjoyable. Bunkers unkeeped and yet they are dry compared to water logged course. Heard they are selling this course to built more homes. I say buyers beware, this land is swamp.

Great place beautiful houses
Nice course, but too crowded,6 minutes between t offs. 5 1/2 hour round.
First time golfing there and it was pretty nice. I'm not a great golfer but know the difference between good and bad courses. The staff were friendly, grounds kept nice, pretty scenery. All in all a nice place to shoot 18 holes.
My father and I's favorite course. Great layout with amazing greens.
Beautiful course but the groundskeepers were everything being very disrespectful by circling around th green your about to chip on, then buddy hit me with some of the fertilizer like buddy cmon. The greens are also ridiculous they are similar to sawgrass or Tpc Toronto
This is an awesome golf coarse. I hope it opens this year with the virus thing going on. Definitely check them out.
Good golf coarse
Pretty awesome course. I stink at golf so it was a little much for me. Lost most of my balls and felt hurried as most of my shots stunk. If you are a good golfer, this is a good course.
Always a great experience.
Nice course in good shape. Alot of driving between holes seems they could reorder the holes make it more organized. Tight course and rewarded for keeping it in the fairway. Would go again.
Had a special price was great Paid twice the day before at Crosswinds
Fairways and Greens are in good shape. Bunkers are trash except on hole 15. Food was good. Beer was flat.
Worst round of golf and course I've ever played. Course was mediocre in looks at best. Staff was extremely rude, Marshall was the most unprofessional person I've ever met in the industry. If your looking for a course in Niagara I suggest looking elsewhere.
Course in tiptop condition. Very courteous and accommodating staff. Overall a great experience and we would return in a heartbeat. Bunkers( so many and DEEP) are being worked on with adding new material , so try and keep it on the shorter grass. Semi rough is tougher than it looks. A very playable track for all handicaps.
A great course for everyone it forces you to strategize your shots more then the average course. Little pricey but you're paying for the name anyways.
One of the most beautiful golf course in the region very Challenge course lot of things to do just go there and enjoy it
Passive aggressive starter giving us a hard time for the sake of justifying his presence. Made us not feel welcome. Course also in bad shape. Bunkers are not maintained. However the lady who served us our drinks at club house was friendly and gave excellent customer service.
Needs a course guide
My favorite place to golf.
It was a great course, challenging and tight. Used an online offer and was very reasonable. Consider getting one of the speciality golf carts that support a charity.
This is an amazing facility in excellent condition. We love it at Thundering Waters. Beautiful day...bonus.
Gteat layout .no marshals to bother you
Course in good shape
Beautiful Course, fairly priced. My only knock was the half way house being closed at 5pm. We went on a very busy Saturday on a very hot day and they were closed up by 5pm with the course completely full of golfers. Made no sense at all. Had to wait to make the turn and even then the bar/cafe was closed.
Sooooo much litter flying around. No bins provided anywhere.
Beautiful & well maintained course. They have a Cafe but would benefit if they had a dining facility.
Great course with a fun layout. Some really fun risk reward holes. Definitely recommend.
Nice course but the put way too many people on it at a time. Our round took 6 hours to play.
Blue and white days are great! Course was well taken care of! A great experience
Excellent great shape
$90 for twilight pretty steep. Kiosk was closed at 5:30... So no food or drinks at all even after nine no food or drinks. Tee boxes really beat up and we were told to finish early as the staff wanted to go home..was not impressed especially having no food or water even!!! Greens slow and only fair shape.. S
Greens, fairways and rough were all in immaculate shape. The bunkers on the other hand seem like they have been left to become waste bunkers. Not sure if it’s due to the COVID-19 and not having rakes or what, but that is the only downfall. Short course with tons of trouble. Keep the ball straight and In play and you can score very low. Would strongly suggest playing the black or Daly tees for anyone who has a handicap of 12 or better. 6100 from blacks and 6500 from the tips (Daly tees). I will most definitely be back to play this course again. Great scenery and great shape (minus the bunkers).
When the course is completely dead don't have the marshal's telling you to hurry up. 3 some playing best ball.. we're already moving quicker then needed. We paid our fees leave me alone! Never coming back
Fun challenging course and can't wait to play again in 2 weeks....staff also makes it enjoyable
Nice course. Challenging with the water and deep bunkers. Maintenance of the fairways was a bit lacking for the divots and bunkers were lacking sand. Overall a great play today,
Short course, even from the Daly tees. Greens and fairways are well maintained. This course could use an active marshall to keep up pace of play.
Beautiful course, true greens no housing! Will be back. Bring extra balls ????
When it open around 10 years ago. just go again on 2020, it change a lot, its too many house surround the first hole, and last hole.
OK but tough condition. Could be a nice course with more care by players.
Good golf course to go golf great greens fairways perfect
(Translated) Wow fantastic golf course. Once in his life a golfer must play this course. (Original) Wow fantastique terrain de golf. Une fois dans sa vie un golfeur doit jouer ce terrain.
Excellent course, well kept, not too demanding, reasonably priced
It's not as good as it used to be because of putting hoses all around and taking some of the course down but all in all good plays for nice decent piece of money for a round of golf and you can still have fun if you go from the wife's the blues or do something else
Great Golfing!
Great Food, Pricing was a tad on the expensive side but overall a good experiences.
Overrated
Amazing!!!
Excellent hospitality when I have been there.... beautiful landscape
Nice course.
Fore good course
Carts are not maintained, my e brake didnt even work so I couldn't stop on any hills. They are extremely strict about making sure nobody brings in alcohol but they dont even have a beer cart. Overall for the price I dont feel the course is using their profits to better themselves in any way and I will most likely never return. Green fees should be closer to 45$/person with cart for what you get. Also I purchased on golf now but the course over charged me 25$ more than I was supposed to pay and they didnt have any answers. Overall, pretty dissastisfied.
love golfing here, one of my favorite courses in Niagara !
Excellent course, lots of target golf. Great condition, friendly and helpful staff.
Original layout was much better. Cant believe they sold three holes to put up overly priced homes. Traps are under maintained. Course is worth 40$ a round, maybe 50$...
Always a great time. Only complaint would be that the bunkers are in absolute horrible condition.
Hot day
(Translated) like (Original) 좋아요
Just played to two rounds today, course is in OK shape. Tee decks are beat up pretty bad, but expected considering the traffic. Greens conditions were good, but a lot of unrepaired divots. Pace was good, tee time spacing was tight but a few min were allotted between groups. Price is expensive, but with deals/coupons it is worth a trip out there.
Great course!! Wheres John Daily?
Waiting with three groups on the 18th tee, for 20 minutes, after over 5 hours of waiting and playing already. Management needs to keep a handle on pace.
Tight little course. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Bunkers were not kept very well probably due to covid and not raking them. Lots of distance between holes so a cart is mandatory here. The good news is that you pass the halfway house 5 times during your round, if you need food or drinks.
Great place and great people
For the price I was very disappointed. The greens and bunkers were in very rough shape. Something as simple as tee box yardage they couldn't even get right.
I've build a fair portion of the subdivision around the course. It looks beautiful.
A great day and the course was also great, greens rolled well and true and the bunkers were in good shape. The staff is really great and welcoming which rounded out a fabulous day for me.
Course is in great shape as usual and because of all the rain it played pretty wet but still enjoyable.
Great little course. Staff was terrific. Course was fun. I'll be back in the future.
Course was in rough shape. I understand it just opened a few days ago in the middle of a pandemic but tee boxes were already beaten up, yellow fairways and extremely slow greens
Beautiful with deep sand traps. Long holes and a fun challenge.
Beauty course. Fairways and greens in excellent shape
Very nice course. A little confusing and feels like a 9 hole but feels nice and flows pretty well. Rented clubs since we were at a conference and didn’t come prepared. We got balls and Ts and a cart. It was busy but really nice. Weather helped a lot of course
Great course with nice layout. Would definitely play again.
Like the course, nice staff but maintenance is suffering particularly the sandtraps
Great course.
Definitely not what we expected, course has been neglected for a long time, bunkers are terrible, holes are short and the carts need a serious upgrade. Fun layout, pretty tight, often right beside another tee, but can be rewarded for good shots. The course is full of first time golfers hitting into you, swearing all over the course and no etiquette and the staff make no effort to speed up pace of play/enforce cart path only rules. Overall it’s become a party course for new players
Great course
Very well maintained! Challenging with lot of deep bunkers. Directions to next hole is clear. Good to play with coupons. Otherwise, too pricy.
Course is in amazing shape
The fairways were under water and the traps were not maintained this year. I understand Covid but don't full price if your not going to have a full staff maintaining the course. Stay away until the the government stops paying minimum wage deadbeats to stay home.. The customer service was top notch!
Totally did not live up to the hype and anticipation of wanting to play this course! Sand bunkers for which this course is known for was in complete disarray, second cut line was non existent and tee boxes were very chewed up, for the price they charge and the name they carry I was expecting the course to be better maintained
Was a nice golf course!!
Tough course with many risk reward type holes. Unfortunately, the sand bunkers were in poor condition but the greens were well kept and holding. Overall, a positive experience but the pace of play could have been better. First round was 4:45 with groups in front and replay was done in 3:10 with no one around.
Great afternoon of golf with Don, John and Zoltan! ⛳
Can't believe this place has no driving range, and what they have are cages - which are closed already. Booked to play next week. Will have to drive to Legends of Niagara to use their facilities before playing at Thundering Waters. Poor. So much for a hyped course. Won't schedule a game there again, regardless of price or discounts offered.
Challenging layout, need to play course management and not use your driver. The greens were true and fast. The greens and tee blocks were in tough shape and most bunkers were unplayable. Looking at the yardage on the scorecard it didn't match the hole yardage. Play was extremely slow for a short course and no ranger was around keeping the play flowing.
Challenging course.
1st time. overpriced for seasons end. carts brakes faulty..
Terrible experience such a joke played golf tournament there. Where do I start.. our gift when we got there they gave a a New Sleeve of ALREADY USED GOLF BALLS... 1cup of draft beer and a 3$ cigar cuz we looked them up half of the food promised they said didn't have enough time to get it all because they partied to much the night before ..there was no cart driving around with refreshments or food the half way house didn't open till 1130. .tee off was at 9am. had to pay for our lunch which was not ready seeimg as how you only had a choice of sausage hamburger or hotdog So there was a 15-20min wait for beer n lunch.. our dinner was A Burger or Burger Bun with pulled pork ... thats it. This was my 4th time playing there and 1st time in tourny and it will be my last the amount of money I've spent to play this coarse and not have 1enjoyable experience ... :(
Very fun track, could have been laid out better, but some great views and difficult holes. Think I would have preferred it before the renovation and restructuring, but would definitely come back and play again.
Told to hurry up when we were a full hole ahead of the group behind
Nice shape. Challenging
Sweet course, love playing there
First time playing this course , I really enjoyed it.
This was the worst golf experience I have had in a long time. The "range" consists of mats and nets, there was no cart girl even though it was 35 degrees Celcius outside, the halfway house and the DALY CAFE had virtually no food options. The course played incredibly slow. Be ready for a 5 and a half hour brutal round
