With a bud, played the "Quarry" 9 holes at this course on Sept. 25, 2015 as "walk ons". First, and foremost, the staff at this course were amazing! We were greeted in the parking lot by one of the friendliest guys you could ever meet. When we explained that we wanted to play nine holes only, he radioed the marshal, set us up to play and gave us his cart. Ten minutes after we arrived, we were teeing off on, what turned out to be, a really good course that was in great shape, challenging, and fun to play! Thanks, Guys! Can't wait for the next opportunity to play the other two "nines" on this 27 hole beauty!

Pen Lakes is a top drawer course in every way. Upon your arrival someone greets you in the parking lot and gives you a power cart so you can load your clubs right from your car. He then tells you to go and hit some complimentary range balls before teeing off if you like. They have 3 nines and all are rolling, scenic, and beautifully maintained. The courses are longer than most, moderately tough, but fair. Its definitely worth the drive to play.

Had a terrific 18 holes here in October. We got an amazing 2 for 1 twilight deal (just managed to get in all 18 holes before sundown). I would say you get what you pay for at this course. It was very well maintained. I usually hate playing in the fall with all the debris. But it wasn't a problem. I usually try not to spend more than $50 a game - I am not good enough to worry at this point about playing really high end courses and would rather get quantity over quality. I feel like this course offers both. Would recommend to anyone for 9/18 holes or for events.

Excellent experience and golf club. Just returned from a golf wknd with co-workers and I can't stay enough about this course. It looks amazing as soon as you drive into the parking lot. Excellent mature course with some shade and no 'fill in' holes. Super well kept and in excellent condition. We played Friday morning. Of course Covid rules but the Club house still had lots to offer. Refreshment cart was out and available. I cannot say enough about the service and the little things count so much such as driving range included and cart dropped off right at my car. Super excellent service and lots of smiles. For example I arrived about 40 mins ahead of our group and no less than 3 staff asked if I needed a cart. Would play again in a heart beat. We did not play the Orchard 9. Easy to get to 401, 403 and then google took my down exit 57 which was great - lots of fruit stands - slow scenic drive in. Get what you need first as when you get closer to the course, there are less amenties - couple last gas stations just before you arrive. Enjoy and all of the 12 players in our group - experienced to novice thought it was a great day and great course.

This is my new favourite golf course in the area. I've only played The Orchards section so far because our group books 9 holes of golf. I am looking forward to playing a full 18 and experiencing the beauty of the the other areas of the course. It makes for a very enjoyable experience to play a round of golf and then head back to the club house for an excellent meal afterwards. I have had the pleasure of choosing fish and chips and then prime rib on two separate occasions and they did not disappoint. I highly recommend going and enjoying all this place has to offer.

This is a wonderful course. The views that are laid in the escarpment and the layout of the course is one of the best that I have been to. Course was great as last time my last round there but round runied when the marshal come around and tried to yell at us for driving on the fairway, we were not informed before our round that cart path only was in effect. Seen everyone else driving on the fair ways after he told us but seemed like he didn’t care to go have a chat with them.

Nothing special about this course. No comparison to Copper Creek. Also , never seen a scorecard without slope ratings, even the cheapest courses have slope ratings on the score card. Your layout of the golf course on the score card is rediculous, can"t even see the the numbering on the map they are so small. Also, you don"t even have a course layout guide booklet that we could of used to figure out the course layout. There was nothing available in the pro shop. I also think you should have electric carts with GPS on the carts, the gas carts are pasay for a course that claims to be Niagaras Jewel.This course has a long way to go to achieve high standards. There are a number of nice holes on the Quarry and Hillside that we played and quite challenging for sure.

Beautiful day for fall golf!! Fantastic shape. Greens were lightening fast. Very very impressed, tee blocks in fine condition, greens were quick and held, fairways were lush and cut. Sand was immaculate, played out of 3 green side bunkers and put the ball within 3/4 ft on each to the amazement of my foursome. Played out of a fairway bunker 135 yds out and put it on the fringe. Love playing out of nice sand! But kudos to maintenance staff for keeping leaves off course. No looking for or losing a ball in the fairway or rough because of leaves cheers. Views from road are so enticing and even better when you play the course. Good challenging course, play it once I'll guarantee you will want to play it again. Marshall's and pro shop staff very friendly. Halfway house has drinks and food, girl serving was happy we stopped in, she says she usually is out on course in beer cart. Thankyou good service. Hope the weather holds out , would like to do it again, except if the hurricane winds that suddenly appeared making those long par 5s, par 7s, not fair, hit 3 really solid wood shots and was still short, ended up 5, 6, 6, but looked like animal with wind on in 2. Now that's golf!!! Fantastic experience look forward to play here at least once a year for years past and hopefully years ahead! Thx for the happy day!

We had both our wedding ceremony and reception at Peninsula Lakes in September 2020. Jordan, Mike, and the Peninsula Lakes team did everything they could to make this day memorable for us, especially considering the difficulties that COVID-19 presented. They kept everything running smoothly, just the way we planned it. Chef Anthony created a delicious menu that highlighted the best of the season. The view at our outdoor ceremony was spectacular and the course provided a beautiful background for our photos. We highly recommended Peninsula Lakes to anyone looking to get married in the Niagara region!

This course has always been and still is one of the best courses in Niagara. Bring a sandwich with you for the turn. Yesterday, the BBQ was closed and only the sitdown restaurant was open. Your choice on the course was BBQ or All dressed chips at the beer cart. ???? all understood during these strange times ,but I almost ordered a pizza to be delivered to the parking lot. ???? Orchard and Hillside! Won't let you down. Hit straight!

Awesome and scenic golf coarse set in the Niagara region I and my family love this coarse and I have to say last time my son booked a tee time he had booked the wrong day by mistake but thankfully the friendly staff at this coarse so kindly was able to squeeze us in but I must say and yes I have golfed many courses here and abroad Penn Lakes golf coarse offers some pretty awesome holes that have great views but you will see the quality the minute you see the coarse from the road coming in. I must say also that the pro shop offers a great variety of golf apparel I normally never leave without a purchase.????
