Golfed on Thanksgiving Monday at Ushers Creek. The marshall let a fivesome out ahead of us where 2 adults were teaching 3 kids to golf. First 9 took us close to 4 hours. It was busy, but the marshalls are there for a reason, not to just collect the money. Part of the job is to keep the flow going at a steady pace. After voicing my opinion the marshall told me it was busy. 2 of our foursome left the game as did others behind us. I live locally and have golfed all the courses. Today's experience was the worst. Took all the joy out of what should have been a good day.

Battlefield and ushers 2 of the nicest courses I've golfed in Niagara. I would definitely come back and play them again. We golfed 36 holes in the one day. Good value for the money

Played Ussers Creek yesterday. This course is tough on a good day. The wind yesterday was pretty blustery at times and really played havoc on the golf ball and the course won. The course is in pretty good shape right now. The greens were the fastest I've played so far this year which were tough. I'm pretty sure if you play either course you won't be disappointed, only your wallet will be. Understandable as they are high end golf courses and the facilities are top notch.

Nice golf course, well maintained with well guarded greens. I also liked that there weren't any real short par threes. The late summer wildflowers were in full bloom so that added to the appeal of the course. A few more trees might improve the visual aspect of the course.

Loved this course, will definitely play again. The fairways, bunkers and greens were in fantastic condition. Lots of fairway bunkers which makes for some interesting shots off the tee. I would suggest checking on Golfnow before booking through the Niagara Parks site. It was $20 cheaper on Golfnow.

Legends on the Niagara is home to two 18-hole championship golf courses: the Battlefield and Ussher's Creek. The Battlefield, rated 4-1/2 stars, is a pleasantly testing layout. This parkland and open-links-style course should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy. One to include on your play list if you are in the area.

In a time when I find I'm very disappointed by most buffets Legends rises above the competition, consistently and absolutely. We have made this our Easter tradition since they started doing an Easter brunch, and have never been disappointed. We originally tried the place because my grandmother had broken her pelvis, and they were the only restaurant we found that was completely wheelchair-accessible.

The course itself is a nice executive layout that is well kept and picturesque. It has poor signage so it's easy to get lost in the beginning. The young men who were manning the Pro Shop left a lot to be desired. Better management would straighten that out.

The course itself was great but golf is soo much about the experience. Play was slow this morning and Marshall was extremely rude when clearly it was group in front of us that was the problem. Also, how and why can staff decline legal tender. I get its 2021 and Covid restrictions are a thing but I cannot believe they dont accept cash anywhere. Very disappointed with the experience overall!

Now here is an amazing course! What can I say! The course is challenging while still being somewhat forgiving. A huge range and chipping/putting area to practice. The clubhouse is beautiful and service here was top notch. Will be coming back here again next time Niagara is the destination.

I have yet to try the range but I have heard that there are is an actual green area as opposed to worn out dirt which is great for practicing. The course is well kept, greens are a bit fast but it’s been such a. Hot summer this year. Par 3 course that is very much a great experience for newbies to experts practicing their short game.

This was my first and second time playing this course (Battlefield) and enjoyed my time. It is very well maintained, and is fairly challenging. There is sand traps everywhere and water on many of the holes. I downloaded the app to help guide me - I didn't utilize it all that often but it is a great tool to help guide you if you would like. The staff is very friendly and great overall. I definitely would suggest golfing here if you are in the area or are thinking of purchasing a golf package I don't think you would be disappointed.

Excellent golf destination. I paly played the two primary courses multiple time this year. Both in outstanding condition. Lush fairways and the green roll very well. Not overly fast but not to slow either. Battlefield has generous fairways, but lots of strategic sand and some treacherous water on the finishing holes. My foresome described it last week as a very "enjoyable" round of golf. Usshers Creek. their second championship caliber course is a little tighter and tougher to play, but still fair and playable. Highly recommended.

Courses built on the historical battlegrounds from the war of 1812. Very reasonable green fees for such a well maintained, picturesque, and fun course to play. The course is over 7000 yards from the tips. Greens were extremely fast and rolling true. Good shots are generally rewarded and poor shots are punished. Walked the course in 3 hours playing from the tips and teeing off at 7am

The course was a very good shape for this time of year. Unfortunately the first three or four holes of rain very hard when we were there and the fairways are fairly wet. But the actual course was fantastic. The half house staff was pleasant at check-in and no issues The person working the kitchen at the half house was stressed and not that pleasant but I attribute it to having a bad day. Would definitely return and play Ussers Creek again and would like to play the second course as well.

Very nice 9 hole course and good view. However, receptionists who work at legend 9 hole were very rude and have bad attitude. Sometimes I visit with my Asian friends, whenever we visit 1 or 2 times a week, receptionist (especially old worker and middle age worker) giggled behind my friends. I heard clearly.( I don't mention about young workers.) Workers said useless jokes and giggled each other behind my friends. My friends felt so bad but we didn't say and complain anything. My advice is "Never do that again". WE WILL NEVER VISIT AGAIN!!

Had a great time at The Legends on Niagara. Phenomenally kept courses, greens were perfect with minor blemishes on both, Ussher’s Creeks and Battlefield. Excellent weather, no issues and a very smooth check-in tee time process. Driving range was also great! Very friendly staff as well! Lots to experience at the Legends. Definitely recommend.

Played Battlefield. A very well designed course and very well kept greens. Seemed moderately difficult and fun to play. Everyone there seems quite efficient, friendly and professional. The round did take five hours and there was very little waiting on the tee blocks so that gives you the size of the place - likely slower play since it was cart path only which kills PoP. Go early well before your tee time since there is a bit of a run around to figure out the parking and the driving range but this is only for first time players who don’t know how things work there. The cool thing about this course is that it sits right beside the place where the Battle of Chippawa took place.

Couple great golf courses. Would rate the Battlefield higher than the Usher's Creek course, but that is just a matter of opinion. Courses are always kept in great shape from tee to green. Minus one star for the poor service on the beverage carts and in the halfway house - the staff don't seem like they want to be there. Pro shop and golf services staff are always friendly and attentive.

Awesome! I like both 18 hole courses but give an edge to Battlefield. Almost every hole from tee to green in great shape. The only issue i have which is hard to control is the geese dumping around the 18th hole of battlefield. Pretty much flat course but plays tough with the hazards and some carries. Have yet to try the 9 hole course.

We played Chippawa, which is the 9 hole executive course. It's a beautiful course cut through wildflower-filled brush. Condition is top notch. We walked (they have carts, but no paths) and it was a very "golf the way it was meant to be" type experience. It's fairly easy to stay in play, but if you have an errant shot and it ends up in the brush, there's pretty much zero chance of finding your ball. Looking forward to playing the other two courses on future visits.

I can't say enough great things about this beautiful course. Very well maintained, the driving range, practice greens and chipping areas are amazing. Staff was all friendly and helpful. The course was a pleasure to play, tough and a bit long, but well thought out. Tees and greens were immaculate. Greens were fast and had alot of character. I would recommend this course to all of my family and friends.

This was my first time playing Ushers Creek at Legends on the Niagara. My playing partner and I were not paired with another group which was a nice change, however we quickly found ourselves backed up behind two slow groups (we had a 1pm start but still managed to finish under 4.5 hours). Despite the slower pace of play, we were impressed by the impeccable course conditions and beautiful scenery on the course. Overall we enjoyed our round as the fairways are a little tighter and more challenging than Battlefield @ Ledgends as there more doglegs, longer holes, and shots over water. We were also pleased by the price of the round, if memory serves we paid $60 each with cart thanks to GolfNow (deals for Niagara parks courses can often be found later in the day on GolfNow). Overall we enjoyed ourselves and I would recommend giving this course a shot if you happen to be in the area.

Bar tender gave my group 1 drink, said they close in 25 mins and proceeded to clean bar. Patrons asked for drinks, waved at her and she ignored them. 1050 asked for shot for my group she said no but did shots with the employees in front of us. We were on vacation and we told everyone when we got home do t bother going to legends . She only worked like 5 hours, and was rude

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this course is maintained for a public course. It looks like there are 3 courses here you can play. We booked in for Battlefield. It was my first time here. The course is layed out nice and is very forgiving. You can tell it is setup as a tourism course. Having said that it was still challenging and I still managed to loose a ball or two in the water. If we go back I want to try out the Legend's course. In speaking with a few people I hear they it is a much tighter course and less forgiving. All in all a great day!

Very good courses. Loses 2 stars due to slow play and nothing being done about it. It was the same issue on other years we have played here. Marshals are not doing their job. 3 groups on every tee on back 9. Our group teed off at 1:30 and we finished at 7:15. ALMOST 6 HOURS. If you want to enjoy it, I suggest you play in the morning.

Trust Legends on the Niagara and Elise with your wedding, TRUST ME. I didn't have to worry about a thing on my special day! Elise is the most personable and kind human and was so helpful in helping us with all of our questions and needs. Our wedding was a "covid" wedding and honestly it was so beautiful and the service was so top knotch that we did not even care that there were safety restrictions in place. The staff was amazing. The servers and bartenders were SO GOOD and so attentive. There were a few quests with allergies and the servers were very smart and made sure to let these guests know their meals were gluten friendly or lactose and explained what they did so they would know what they are eating. I LOVED my special day. Thank you legends!

Overrated. Too many tourist golfers so very slow. Mediocre shape.They have signs everywhere telling you to replace your divits and keep the place beautiful yet the divit bottles are empty.Restaurant closed why? Covid fearmongers. Traffic to Niagara always brutal , not worth the drive.

We just had our wedding at Legends on the Niagara and it was phenomenal. We could not have asked for anything better. Elise and her entire team are dedicated and extremely caring people. The entire staff is friendly and they always go the extra mile to ensure you or your guests are comfortable and satisfied. We have not stopped receiving compliments about the venue, the staff and especially the food from our guests. If you are planning your wedding in Niagara Falls this is the place to do it. I went to all the vineyards and none of them could offer the variety of food, location and backdrop like Legends. The price is also extremely reasonable especially when you consider the incredible buffet spread they offer. Thank you for making our dream wedding a reality!

Very nice course to play, conditions are great. But you need to be prepared to play a 6 hour round. It is jammed with no Marshall controlling pace of play. Last 4 outings my group has met up with 3 other groups on the same tee box. Great course but pace of play is a major issue for the money you pay to play.

Played Battlefield Sunday afternoon, pretty good shape for the amount of traffic. Greens are in great shape. But the highlight was the cart person - we had bought coupons for a fathers day snack but hadn't used them yet. The halfway house was closed but she called them and they bagged up the food and drinks. And she brought them to us. Unbelievable customer service.

Dynamite courses, and a beautiful Clubhouse. They have 2 /18's here, and can replay for a great price. Restaurant has great food, and craft beer selection on Tap. They had a wedding there, looked amazing with a banquet room and Patio overlooking the lake. Staff are friendly, personable and helpful. Definitely a must do if you're in Niagara.

My husband and I went to Niagara Falls for the weekend for some much needed R&R. He wanted to have a game of golf and booked in at Legends. When we arrive my husband asked if I could just rid along as I do not golf. The guy at the pro shop said that wasn't a problem and it was on the house. The guys that set you up in the carts were also friendly and fun to chat with. This golf course was amazing. So beautiful and quiet. The course was immaculate as is expected. Great people work here and the food is also great. The cart ladies were very nice to talk to. I am sure we will be back in the near future. Great Golf, Great People, Great Course.

Our first time there for Dinner! Although we live in proximity, and been there at Legends for parties and weddings, have never dined as a couple there. We sat on the patio overlooking the man made lake, watching the geese and golfers share the space. The food was very good....my wife had a Rueben and I had soup and a Hero sandwich. Our server Lynda was very friendly and efficient. It may have been our first time here, but not our last!!

Played both courses for the labour day long weekend. First day on battlefield was fine. Course condition was ok. Nothing spectacular. Finished the round in just under 4 hours for a group of 4. 2nd day on Ussher’s creek was just a disaster. Tied up behind a 3some that took 4 shots just to get to the 150 yard marker. To the point where the two groups behind us were waiting with us. They wouldn’t let us thru. All 3 groups called the Marshall at different times between the 3rd and 12th hole. he would just say “let me see what’s going on up there”, and we would never see him again. 6.5 hours to finish that round. Simply unacceptable. Better course management is needed here.

Played today and it's a great layout and the on course staff are great but the course was so wet it was unplayable. 3 balls lost I Sandra's that are now ponds. When I went in afterwards to give my opinion the person in the proshop just laughed at me so I won't be spending another red cent at this place.
