Nice golf course
Small ski site, with 4-5 lanes, very short ones, two have some nice slopes, the others pretty moderate. Good for families with kids who wants to train as beginners. One lift for all lanes, and at some point in Sunday afternoon ,the line was too long for me considering the short lanes. You can rent equipment, and no preschedule is required. Very close to where i leave, which is a great advantage.
People need to understand this is a small beginners hill. Doing research before and making sure the hill is for them. Only downside to this ski hill is the length of walking to the hillside. Make sure you have a comfortable set up to walk 300m to your car. Otherwise, hill is a good layout and wide enough to avoid slower skiers.

People who just started skiing should fine these hills perfect. For advances people these hills see probably trash.
Worst golf course ever. Please avoid. Marshal is a old white ghost who followed us for the last 3 holes. How do I tee off when ppl are still on the fairway? That's not the right way to make people keep up the pace.
Skiing is pretty nice
Good place to learn skii. Nice environment and staff. The only minus is that you have to cross 200 meters before go down the hill.
Awesome new disc golf course! Lots of elevation changes and a great integration with the ball golf course!
So so.
Easily the worst golf course experience I've ever had in my life. The course itself is not well-maintained. The course charges premium fees for a 9-hole that is literally under construction during peak season. The carts barely function. But …
The attitude of some of the staff needs to be improved
Some staff at rentals are obnoxious and rude. They yell at you and aren't patient in general. Hills were okay, would most likely not come back again.
Enjoyable 9-hole course. Fun to spend a couple of hours. but service and course condition is little inconsistent.
Great place to learn how to ski
Great place!
Never answer their phone . voice mail always full .
Was nervous to play 9 after reading the reviews about pace of play, but absolutely nothing else available on a Saturday afternoon so kinda stuck. Booked for 3:36. Got there at 3 and saw several groups at the first tee. I asked them their …
Great for teaching kids!
Love this place. Fabulous location for skiing in winter!
This is a amazing ski hill course.Uplands has done a great job Been here for the last couple of years with my kids. They loved the slopes. Will be retuning this year and as many as could If I don't go, my kids would get upset
Glad to find a ski resort close to north york...
Good place to spend with kids
Stopped in with my son for a 9 hole game. First time here but the place looked great and clean. The golf cart we rented was fast and my son enjoyed that the most, Just a happy day overall. Will be back for sure and now we know about the skiing in the winter. Can't wait for that
Fairly decent, cant complain. They're a bit slow at making snow but the hills are great for new riders or people trying to learn new techniques. The price is a bit high for the size but it's a great place to go close by if you just want to practice.
Amazing staff and extremely fun!
This place has really gone downhill over the years. My kids came here for parent and tot lessons and the instructors are disorganized and not knowledgeable. I have ended up just taking my kid on my own rather than participating in the lessons.
Very challenging due to the hills and layout. As noted by others the fairway is at times torn up, and some bunkers are hard. However, this is a public course & I was impressed with how well the grass was cut and the quality of the greens. The club needs an infusion of investments: carts are tired looking & the clubhouse is dingy and unwelcoming. But, for $30 PP its a great value. Just be sure to bring old balls & be prepared to lose a few. Wear comfy shoes if walking since the hills are aggressive. Its also very scenic.
Not a golf course for golfers. It’s a 9-hole course and they sell 18 meaning you play the same 9 twice which sounds good in theory but they don’t adequately space the tee times out. …
Good
Sledding was super fun
Good course for the intermediates!!
Awesome disc golf course! Well worth the 15 dollars
The winter and summer facilities are good, as you would expect. Winter is a wonderful time to ski and walk around. In summer however, they do however have a little problem with how they respond to inquires. It's known they have a nature …
Very convenient location to learn and easy skiing. That’s pretty much the only pros. Do not expect good customer service from the management although the instructors are good people. This is beginners ski place so if you want a proper ski hill, go north!
No rentals for people over 5 feet!!! That is so dumb, no warning on website so we drive there to see the sign!!
It’s a great course but wasn’t the friendliest of service.
Great 9 hole course. Excellent location. Very challenge because of the hill.
best instructors
I took my beginner 6 yr old son for the first time to uplands for a private ski lesson and have to say I would never go back . some of my reasons: 1. Right when we got there, I realized I had a boots and skiis for him but not a helmet and they made me pay the whole rental fee of $20 to just get a helmet, which they wouldnt rent me seperately. 2. Private lesson rates are pretty comparable to other bigger ski resorts at 90 per hour but their beginner area hill has no magic carpet and kids just have to walk up. Being his second time in skiis and boots, my son was already finding the equipment heavy and bulky and most of the time was getting wasted in walking up the hill and lugging a ski in hand (as suggested by the instructor). 3. the instructor was a 15 yr old kid who may have known how to ski very well but wasnt that great with teaching a 6 yr old tricks for how to get the hang of the moves or to encourage him to keep going when my son wanted to give up. He kept asking me what he should do next. 4. I had to end up intervening and telling my son, ok let's race...or I'll carry your skiis and you walk ... or let's pull you up the slope with a pole ... and other ideas to make him keep going - but I was asked to leave the area by uplands staff since I wasnt a paying adult with a ticket on my jacket. I had never been here before myself but friends recommended it as it's closer to home- but for beginners learning lessons, this was definitely a terrible experience and I wouldn't return while my son is at this skill level.
Just stay away. Go to Earl Bales Park instead for skiing
Some parts are very dry and weedy. Not worth the money.
Course is in terrible shape and service is poor. The Marshall didn't let my friend and I share one golf bag but did allow a group of 6 to play together at a pace of about half an hour per hole.
Great for beginners. Helpful and reasonably-priced ski and snowboarding lessons.
Very good price for skiing, great for beginners.
Best place to ski in Toronto. Quick drive, great children's program and awesome runs!
The staff are great it's a teeny little Hill for skiing but is a great place for little kids to learn
As a novice golfer who has little to no experience at the game, I could this gold and country club very accommodating. If you sick at golf as I do, may I suggest you contact the management to make sure they can accommodate your patheticness. (Don't want to piss off paying members, so please understand)
A lityle bare at thebtip but fast and long. Kids were happy.
Local skiing right next to home. Great for winter hiking since the golf course is closed.
It's small. but good to learn ski or snowboard.
Great location, Great services, Great staff. I recommend it.
Great course, terrible staff. I might just buy that damn place and fire every single employee. I try to book a tee time and I need to confirm who is going so I put him on hold. He's on hold for literally 10 seconds and he hangs up. I call back and he says that he "doesn't go on hold and that he is running a business." Then while playing the guy comes up to my 13 year old sister and calls her a "ball hawk" because her ball went into the woods and she was trying to find it. They have no respect for patrons and customers! If you do go, get golf cart because you are climbing a mountain. I saw deer there though!
Brian, the person at the front desk was such a nice person and helped me very well. I would definitely come back to play. The staff is so friendly, especially Brian.
GOLF 2020....go elsewhere! There is construction work on two major sewer lines seriously impacting 2 of 9 holes. Half of the tee boxes have no grass, there are no tee blocks. Not worth it this year!
Instructors are good N patient..
Nice! The instructors are so nice! The only reason why I give it 4 stars out of 5 is that it only has 3 slopes. And that the highest slope isn't even that high. I think it'll be perfect for beginners but if you're an intermediate and you really could ski then Uplands might not be the place for you. And this isn't really their fault but they keep on stopping the go-cart because some people didn't put the bar down or they fell.
Believe the bad reviews. It's really bad. We thought to try out and it didn't workout. We dropped out of 6-week program as it's not worth continuing. The setup is not great for beginners to learn. Ski director herself is helpless and stressed with the number of kids to manage.
Love it, thanks
Registered for the 8 week program, the first day was a little hectic but the manager assured me that it will be alot better next week. The staff and management team was very helpful. Keep it up!
I have played Uplands many times over the past few years. I haven't had very consistent experience - sometimes good, sometimes meh. …
This was a great place to train your children or rookies to gain some more experience in skiing & snowboarding. Staff & instructors were nice. Our daughter did pick up some skills and she is really confident in skiing now. Thanks to all the staff at Uplands Golf & Ski Club.
We just played eighteen holes today, and it started off very well in the pro shop, friendly staff. As soon as we left the pro shop, the day went downhill, they had overbooked the …
Great customer service, east to get a tee off time afternoon
Fantastic 9 hole course. Would never know you're in the middle of suburbia. Get on golfnow for good deals.
Local. Great for beginners
Been skiing here for a long time, the staff are and have always been great and nice to my family and I. We come here every winter to ski and it hasn't disappointed, enjoyed every bit of it and definitely will continue to ski here in the future.
Came here for the first time in many years. Giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 because I found that they were a bit disorganized—especially in the when it came to ski rentals. They gave me the wrong skis and poles, so I had to go back to get the correct ones because they kept coming off. Expect long lines aw well. Parking is free, but it’s a bit difficult to find as spots are limited. It’s $30 for lift ticket and another $30 for rentals for an adult. There’s one ski lift and two hills that are open at the moment. That being said I would definitely come here again! ☺️
Stopped in with my son for a 9 hole game. First time here but the place looked great and clean. The golf cart we rented was fast and my son enjoyed that the most, Just a happy day overall. Will be back for sure and now we know about the skiing in the winter. Can't wait for that
Although a bit pricey (at $15 for a round), this place has the best disc golf course in the Greater Toronto Area.
In general staff was quite friendly. However, the golfing experience was not good at all. Started off 20 minutes behind which lead to us having to wait at least 10 minutes at each hole for the group ahead. People were teeing off behind us …
Registered 2 Months early and get ski package + rental measurements a week before ski lesson start
(Translated) The location is very convenient. (Original) 地理位置非常方便。
Great people, great location, awfully maintained course. I love this place, its my home course. But no improvements in 10+ years. Hole #3 has been a soggy swamp for at least a decade and is unplayable....heck unwalkable...unless you're wearing thigh high mudboots. Lots of the greens are patchy. Its a real shame, the layout and some of the Holes are really well laid out and fun....but $50 for 9 Holes and a cart....I think its asking too much for the shape the course has been in for years.
Good challenging course
Hilly, challenging course. No signage for navigating the course
This a a decently maintained course. The fairways are maintained well. There is a lot of waiting at almost every single hole. This is a great course for amateur golfers. If you are looking for a good workout I do recommend walking! …
Bad course, with nothing but hills. What was worse is the incompetent and rude staff. Total of 5 people visited, and of course we asked them in prior if we can bring 1 guy as an observer, he doesn't know how to play at all, we just wanted to show him how the golf plays out and just leave him drive the cart. They say yes, and we thought okay we'd have a good buddy time but just after 1st hole, inspector guy on the cart comes and shouts why the **** is 5 people on the ground. We told him we got a permission, if he can't watch, we'd like to get a refund. Guy says nope! and literally rushes towards the info desk. We arrived after him and of course everything is arranged for them. The women who gave us the permission acts like nothing happened and says we can't go on ground as 5 without any apologies. Manager comes along to tell us you either get a rain check and come back or leave one of us to sit and wait for hours for the rest to finish the golf. Really? wait 17 holes? That was 44 dollars each for that 1 hole with wasted holiday. There are lot of good course at a cheaper price with staffs who don't take their words back. Go somewhere else.
The front desk staff is rude and unprofessional. There is no communication with parents re: cancellations for weather. I have been told to refer to “the calendar” however after asking multiple staff members nobody knows where this “calendar” exists. When I asked the front desk about it. She rudely said people keep asking me this! And tells me I can’t go to the uplands website. You have to go to golfnorth.ca. This is fine. But needs to be communicated! There is a reason people keep asking you the same question! I was appalled with how rude and belittling this woman was to me. They need to re-evaluate who is at the front desk. What an awful first impression.
Fun
Golf: Stanley Thompson is likely turning over in his grave. I have never seen more outrageous green fees for such an awfully maintained 9-hole non-regulation (par …
I never write reviews ... this place has not respected me and my injury.. never got back to me after visiting the place 4 times with a doctors letter.. Something is off when that happens .. Find a kinder place to Ski ????
5 star for proximity to city. 3 star of how busy it gets.
Good place for beginners and upper level, not for expert. Quite crowded during weekend.
Overall convenient ski hill in city. Hard to get in touch with by phone
nice to ski for beginners, especially if you want to ski for a couple of hours
Mixed feeling about this place,on one hand it is great for kids and beginners to learn ski and it's in a great location on the other hand the front desk staffs are so indifferent about customers and extremely slow. A better management could turn around this place.
On a Saturday afternoon my family and I went tobogganing (great spot). However please watch your kids in parking lot as people speed as if it's the main road coming in I got in a altercation with a dad as he was driving way to fast past my kids and other kids and his response was "I saw ur kids" Just slowdown people They should put speed bumps or do something.
Not a bad golf course. I think it's worth the $26 +tax. I'm lazy though and I think it's worth the extra $10 per rider for the power cart based on all the valleys you have to go through. Just one bad hole. #3, the fairway it's in horrible condition.
Had a great time. Great staff. Beautiful course. Would go again for sure.
Not in great shape. Walking is a chore for sure. Might be better in summer.
Enrolled both of our kids in the 8-week kinder ski program of Winter 2022. We were extremely disappointed on how disorganized the program was on the first session. They were short staffed, and we had no idea who our instructor was 20mins into the program. They say we have 1-hour lesson time and 2-hour free time per session. Our kids were finally introduced to an instructor after 20 mins of waiting (just standing there) in an extremely crowded area during Covid-19 Omicron wave - we are talking about close to 100 people in an area less than approx. 30ft by 70ft area, that was the area they had in place for lesson time. Social distancing was impossible. Everyone was pretty much 1 feet from each other. Then all the kids had to walk sideways on 2 ramps. That's right, just 2 single-lane ramps for all the kids. Because it was so crowded, it literally takes about 10 mins for a kid to go up the ramp. So for the rest of the lesson time - 40 minutes - our kids lined up, went up the ramp for approximately 5 times (length of the ramp is about 30ft), and the instructor had the kids coming down the very mild slope. And that was it. We were then told to leave that area after the lesson time was over. There's really nowhere else to go for the remaining 2-hour of "free time". When we asked the staff where should we go to spend our free time, the staff had no idea and just told us to leave as they have the next batch of people coming in. The area that our kids had access to was literally no bigger than our backyard. Overcrowding + short staffed meant the ability for the instructors to teach and guide the kids is extremely limited. Our kids basically did the following 5 times: 1. Climb up the slope on the ramp sideways (no lift/moving rope of any kind) 2. Coming down the slope making "French fries" and "pizza" shapes It takes less than a minute to come down the slope. Which means our kids spent 50+mins over the 1-hour lesson time just standing there without an instructor or climbing the ramps slowly due to overcrowding. We can probably teach our kids the same thing but with much better and safer environment at the school playground close to our home, instead of paying close to $1,000 on such disorganized program. We thought a paid program would be better and safer than public programs. Absolutely not the case with this place/organizer. Would have given 0-star if it was allowed.
Great course. Hidden gem. Because it's not too busy. You can enjoy without being rushed.
Back in when i was in 5th grade (i think it was around 2006?) we took a school ski trip to uplands, and I will never forget how unforgivably rude and downright abusive the staff were. For most of us, being only 10 years old, It was our first time wearing ski's. So when one of us fell, as one would as a beginner, they would then proceed to yell directly in our faces to "GET UP". I remember one of the training guys flat out ignored me after i had fallen right next to him and continued on with training others as i sat there unable to get up, in tears, calling out to him for help. It wasn't until my friend piped up and basically called him out on his ignorance that he begrudgingly helped me up.Call it tough love all you want but these are children for god sake, and its a ski resort not goddamn military training. Needless to say that was my first and last time skiing. This has never left my mind and it probably never will. I hope someone was fired. Reading other reviews though tells me that their staff are still just as rude. Don't bring your kids here.
Course was very nice and fun. Pace of play was pretty bad however, but I didn't play on a busy Sunday morning. and also the cart paths are in horrible disrepair, but everything else was very nice. Well maintained greens and fairways.
Great course
Pretty decent course. They are doing some Renos over the past few years. Good challenging holes and fairly good layout. …
If you're looking for beginners' ski/snowboarding lessons, this place is ideal. The staff and instructors are all incredibly helpful and there are a few small hills to learn and practice on. You can either grt private lessons (1,2, or 3 …
How does it take 3 hours to do 9 holes!? Need to manage tee times way better. Shouldn’t have to wait 20 minutes at each hole to tee off.
Good place that is right in the heart of the city and not a two hour drive.
Great for beginners and kids. Nicely located in Richmond Hill
Small hill but generally great service. Could use a more updated web site
Fun if been going there for over 15 years. I also worked there. Good food aswell.
Great hill for beginners
3:04 tee time -- At 3:00 there were still two full groups waiting to tee off (apparently they were playing 18 and were at the turn, which hadn't been accounted for in the course's spacing) Hole 3 is under construction with water drainage machines clattering away ten feet from the tee box ... Which has been shortened from 320+ to a 147yd par 4 from the back tees. General Manager is an unpleasant and rude person... who apparently doesn't believe in COVID bylaws or recommendations when dealing with customers as she was not wearing a mask indoors. Not a big review writer, but yeah, don't go here.
Ceasar saturday
Great place to relax
The rating is more about the pace of play vs the actual venue. It's not a bad course and it's challenging enough to make it a fun city course. …
General Manager (supervisor), she is extremely rude and dismissive. Would not address any concerns in a respectful manner. Would not recommend. Believe the bad reviews. It's really bad.even this one star is more than what they deserve!
Very run down and poorly maintained. Huge disappointment.
Alot of course construction but still alot of fun to play
Good 9 hole with some fun holes
Lots of uphills and down hills, with mild hazards. Good practice course.
unpleasant experience, from the customers fighting in the parking lot when we arrived, inadequate parking, to the rude staff at the front desk who ignored customers waiting. We left without setting foot on the ski hill, packed up our gear, left and will not be back. Went to check it out because it was close to us, but in future will drive the hour up the 400 than come back here where they clearly don’t want our business.
Great challenging 9 hole course
Stay away from this club. It's really bad. We thought to try out and it didn't workout. After 3 session We dropped out of 6-week program as it's not worth continuing. The setup is not great for beginners to learn. they assigned lots of kids …
Please be cautious when registering your children for the camps at this facility. They cancelled my child's kinder ski camp session due to some "inclement weather" when the weather was FINE for December 22 and 23rd, 2021. I have e-mailed …
Great place to hang out with family. Helpful and friendly staffs. The owner/manager was so nice and treated my family and I very well. They were about an hour before closing time and he let me ride that left hour for free! We'll be coming back often.
Rude staff in the main building, site is not clear nor regularly updated and none of my calls were picked up, making the preparation to go quite difficult. Only 2 hills, both small. …
Challenging enough for a 9 hole course. Unfortunately, they don't have a practice range.
(Translated) The golf season was also very up-down, so it was fun, and walking on the snow-covered course was also elegant and exercise was good. (Original) 골프시즌도 업다운이심해 재밌고 흰눈덮인코스를 걷는것또한 운치있고 운동도 적당해 좋았다 9인홀을 2번돌면 적당하다.
The hill was small
Staff here can make a lot of mistakes, double check your bookings
Fantastic 9 hole golf course, challenging course even for the experienced golfer. Great views as well.
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Rude, condescending staff! BEWARE - Ripped off! My wife and two young boys went skiing for the first time, purchased the 3 hour package ( 1 hour lesson, 2 hour of practice time). Boys picked it up pretty quick and we’re on there way for “practice time”. My wife lagged a bit and the instructor stated that he was not comfortable allowing her “practice time” on her own and that she required more lessons. The 3 hours package is now cut to 1 hour. When requesting a partial refund or future credit, the receptionist (assuming the same receptionist repeatedly mentioned in the negative reviews for unfavourable service and attitude) stated that the 3 hour package consists of Paying for the lesson and the 2 hours of practice time is “free time”. No where on there website states this, it’s reads as follows: 1 hour lesson, plus 2 hours of practice time. We paid for services not rendered and this was a fraudulent act on behalf of the establishment. The instructor deems you as not experience and then rip you off for time paid. THINK TWOCE BEFORE COMING HERE, especially for lessons. ONLY ONE STAR BECAUSE OF LOCATION, nothing else! Despicable!
Missing signs on the holes (hole 5), cart path is dangerous and not managed, signs to where the holes are weren't displayed appropriately (hole 3). Do yourselves a favour and fix what's wrong. Won't be coming back, disgraceful.
I put my two son in this March break camp. The younger son( 6 years old) learned ski and he went well and happy. The elder son about 7.5 years old. He learned snowboard. The first day, he met some difficulty. One instructor taught him patiently the first day. Then Tue, Wed, and Thu is another trainee instructor with him. This guy most time just watched him down the hill and not really taught him. Down the hill , this guy ran far away and left my son behind. On Fri , they told me no snowboard instructor for my son and he had to go skiing. I told them they can not change the contract like that. They said my son was far behind, they had spent a lot of time with him. I said in the school it is normal some learn fast some slow. The school should have some method to handle that. But at last I agree. In the morning everything went well. But in the afternoon at around 1430, the trainee instructor just dump my son to another group without told the instructor of this group and ran away. Then my son stood there crying without anybody attending him. Untill the end of camp time 1600, nobody looked after my son. In this school, if your kids can catch up the group, it is fine. If your kid are slow leaner, then you will put your kid in the unsafe situation. They will leave your kid without in attending.
"Small hill but generally great service."
course is in rough shape. Incredibly slow, and no marshal moving pace of play
Has anybody been able to get through for dec 2021 camp? Registered 5-6 weeks ago and still unconfirmed if I’m the darn ski kids winter holiday camp is happening tomorrow!!?? Can’t get through enail or phone msg for past month. Don’t kno whether to show up for class tomorrow or not!?
Service was good, course was.. adequate
Very pretty golf course. Unique with lots of elevation changes. Challenging but definitely worth checking out.
A “in-town” skiing place. Not a big, doesn’t have lots of slope, but has everything within 20 mins of my hood.
Hilly and interesting holes. Great location. There is alot of construction (June 2020) that affects at least 2 holes. …
Absolutely loved playing the 9 hole course at uplands. The staff are so friendly and nothing is a chore for them. To the owners/management/staff, keep to the great work. Always a pleasure. Hope to be back again soon.
Not 18-holes but a worthy addition to the North Toronto golf scene. Awesome service as well they bring you your drinks to the course. Everything is perfectly groomed.
Nice facilities, amazing location, but very rood staff. Not a good experience.
Friendly staff, great setting.
Terrible staff!!! Employees have possibly the worst manners and minimal training. Terrible. Downright awful. I will be sure to tell all of my friends about this and they just lost a lot of paying customers. Nice work, Uplands.
Great place for your kids to learn to ski, small hill, helpful teachers in low pressure environment. Plus very convenient, especially if you are in the area.
Difficult 9 hole course which I really enjoyed. The course is very hilly- be prepared to break a sweat if you decide to walk instead of getting a cart. Overall a nice experience- will definitely go again!
Pros: - One of the closest ski hills for Torontonians - Good ski hills for beginners Cons: - Closes at 4:30PM on weekends. It should stay open till 8:30PM like on weekdays - Even after big 15-20cm snowfall, only 2 hills were opened, which caused safety concern on busy weekend with congestion of skiers, snowboarders and group lessons on the hills. For safety reasons, Uplands needs to start grooming after hills close, in preparation for the next day, in order to avoid congestion and collisions. - Gets very busy on weekends sometimes with no parking spaces
Beginners
Extreme danger in beginners hill and highly irresponsible management. The area where young kids and or beginners can practice is not supervised. There are signs of no foot traffic. However, many parents keep walking up and down the skiing path. I had to stop my child from continuing his practice. I raised the concern with the office inside to what they said"we will take care of it". Nothing was done. Had to pack and go. Do not recommend if a lesson is not taught. Thanks
Only 9 holes, fairways are rough
Booked 9x2 and they didn’t stagger so we had to wait over an hour to start our back 9. We then decided we didn’t want to wait and they weren’t able to refund our credit cards. We then got credited via cash and the two of us got different cash amounts because they didn’t have change.
Terrible course and very unorganized
So terrible....

Best place
Major improvements have been made on the course. It's better than previous year's.
After I left the first review about the way me and my child were being treated in Upland, I was contacted by the program director with a blocked caller ID. I explained my concerns again and the fact that we were told lies about the program. …
The most disorganized place I ever saw. They let a child run the front desk and extremely rude. Beware of the front desk reception, they will charge you and “confirm” your …
I give it 4 but more like 3.5 stars. Here's the breakdown: If you want to train your child(they have lots of training), then this is an alright place. If you want to come here to enjoy a good day of snowboarding then it's really a 2 star rating. I'd say 65% of your effort is a combination of taking the ski lift (only one) and getting from the base of the hill(which is quite flat) to the ski lift. The other 35% is actual skiing or snowboarding. I like this place. Staff is nice. Gets very busy when theres lots of kids in training. So if you're here to train ur child then nice place or if you're here to gain a little more confidence in skiing or snowboarding then this place is fine. If you're here to have actual full day of down hill fun... then it's back to 2 stars.
It's a nice place for kids to learn but the website is not up-to-date and good luck getting anyone to answer the phone.
Terrible golf course, poorly run, under construction and terrible pace of play. Not worth the price paid, so many better golf courses in the GTA . I will never go back to this course ever again.
Good comfy place for the ski beginners; though experienced skiers can find thrill as well. Good staff...
Challenging little course. Under repair right now so not up to par. Have always enjoyed the course . It's quite up and down as it is on a ski hill so a cart can be a good option

Good ski hills
A terrible experience. I enrolled a 4-year-old child for a private lesson. As a result, I experienced a completely meaningless coach and wasted my money! Can you imagine that the ski instructor never touched the child during the whole …
whatever you do...dont use club facilities for a banguet ... food....is cafeteria quality...coffee is horrible. Why run a golf club if u cant deliver at least decent quality meal.
Beautiful grounds
The receptionist is very rude. I called for over ten times but nobody picked up the phone and no message can be left. Emailed them but no reply. So went there in person on Dec 20 and a few people worked there. The receptionist was so rude …
Not even worth the one star wish I could give less. Terrible rude manager and badly run golf course
ALL Stars give to the perfect coach Mike, very nice and helpful. He is patient and understands what students need to learn. Everything taught is very useful. Very happy to meet him. Highly recommend him. Hope l will have more classes with him.
I would give this course a 4.5 only because it could have been kept better. The sand traps need sand and grooming. There were areas that the fairways could have been better like the 3rd hole. It was mushy. Someone had been on the …
The ski club operation hour is closed at 8:30pm in their website, but it actually doesn't open. Please correct it on your website!!
Great location for a 9 hole course. Challenging due to hills
Can you give 0 stars? Location of tee boxes are anyone's guess as they don't have any markers, grass on the fescue is non existent, greens are not cut, starter and cart guy is a young kid who's out to lunch, tee times are too close together …
Great golf course
Ski.....Some operations guys were not friendly and the Operations Manager was very rude.
General Manager extremely rude and dismissive. Would not address any concerns in a respectful manner. Children’s lessons started continuously 10-15min late. Would not recommend.
This is truly a scam. Because their reason that we cannot go snowboarding but refuse to give a refund. Requested for the term and condition for the refund policy but refused and just said that’s their decision for no refund. Be very carful of this place.
Bad customer service! We have been calling the place for so many times and never got anyone answer the phone! Most of the times, we are responded by the automatic answering machine ask to leave the message. When trying to leave message the the message box is always full! Why ? the staffs are so busy so that they can not answer the phone? or they do not want to answer the phone? If they are under staff then hire more people or get student as volunteer for hours. we hope that they will improve soon!
Good place for 9 holes of golf . Fairways well maintained
If you are the ski beginner, it’s okay for you to start a ski lesson, but you’re intermediate or advanced, don’t take a lesson here, it’s gonna waste your money. Go to other larger ski place to learn ski. The female manager is very very rude and not willing to solve the problem, who is always sitting in the office.
Great place for skiing, especially good for lessons for kids and adult beginners. Been there many years.
Save your money and your time and go play Bathurst Glen 18 holes for 28 dollars. Poorly managed staff have no empathy and when you formally complain nobody gets back to you. My friend hurt his back earlier in the day and couldn't play. They …
Beginners
Pretty challenging for a weekend golfer!
Horrible conditions. Hole 3 was a swamp with no warning when we paid. Our cart literally got stuck in the middle of the fairway. Our shoes are ruined as the water was above our ankles. Avoid!!
One of the lift staffs was rude that leave me a terrible impression here. I and my kid bought 3 hours’ pass and ski together, but one time a lift staff stopped me when my kid had gone to the lift, then I found my pass sticker dropped off and I don’t know when is was dropped. When I tried to explain and ask how I could do, he rudely stopped me and said: I don’t care. I had to go out to the reception to request a pass sticker again that waste many time.. The end time is 6:00 that day, but he closed the lift 15 mins in advance. I have been there a week ago, the lift was closed 10 min in advance. When I got to the lift at 5:45 that planned the last excise and another skier before me just got on the lift, But the staff closed the lift path and rudely stop me although it’s enough time. I will never go to Uplands to ski again.
I recently played this beautiful nine-hole golf course in Thornhill. Most of the fairways and greens were in very good shape (watered well). A couple of the holes are quite mountainous, but overall, it's a nice layout. Staff was very …
Its a nice peaceful course, very challenging with a lot of hills. Pretty well maintained, and decently priced. The staff is always friendly.
