This Golf corresponds to the category of Golf course.
Good course but the weeds are very high. If you have a fade or draw, expect to take a few lost ball penalties
With golf courses disappearing in Oakville at an alarming rate, management has maintained this classic course nicely in the north area of town. There are good deals to be had here at various periods of the golf season, particularly their play all day deals. As a youth, my parents would drop me and a couple friends off here in the morning and we’d golf all day and be picked up on our parents’ way home from work.
Great little course, well maintained.
This is a nice easy course, pretty wide open, but there is rough for you to lose balls. Good for beginners with shorter length holes. Beer/drink carts with debit....no cash!
Clubhouse and service are quite good. Only drawback is allowing singles to go off any time which can slow the pace of play.
What a great course. Friendly staff and easy to walk
Fun inexpensive course to go around. No golf carts just a heads up.
Fun little walking course. Had a great time
fun course, well maintained, clubhouse not in the middle of the round is a minor flaw
Nice executive course, greens are well maintained.
Very good course. Played there for the first time and was extremely impressed with how well everything was organization. The pro shop had a very friendly lady working there. Me and my buddy were paired with a couple and we played 9 holes. …
Great staff very well maintained golf course
Love this place. Great 9 hole executive course. Well maintained, decent prices, good selection of drinks, great food, good service and friendly staff. A hidden little gem in Mississauga.
Quant par 3 course, great pricing.... A very local Oakville, Milton spot for locals to get a quick round in. Great place to practice your short game.
Always an enjoyable course with friendly staff. Great for new golfers. Tee times were spaced out well and pace times were good that we never had a wait. Beer cart circled with drinks, which was needed as there isn't a lot of shade on the course!
Great golfing, secluded, not the best course though but the location and people are great
We did a nine hole executive course. We had a delay in the tee time by more than a half hour waiting for the lag before us. The nine took two hours for the four of us which is pretty good. The fairways were long and clear. I did note people …
Nice course
Great little course to learn!
Well maintained 27 holes of golf. Club house menu pretty good as well.
Nice service but not the prettiest or best kept course. A little pricy for what it is. Just shy of $100 for two people on the nine hole course with pull carts.
Great executive course for beginners and intermediate players. The staff I spoke to were very friendly and helpful. The course was in good condition. Not many ball cleaners around though. Nice clean looking clubhouse and pro-shop. The course is fairly wide open, although the heavy rough was very thick, and it would be hard to find your ball if you landed in it. (yes I did lol ) But overall a great experience and very good value, especially if you take advantage of their twilight rates. I would probably give it a 4.5, but will round up to a 5. :)
Great course. Reasonably priced well maintained and very helpful friendly staff. Will be a regular on my golf course choices close to home.
Great spot to take the family for a round of golf and lunch or dinner. Nice modern club house and restaurant. Friendly staff. Two putting greens. A 9 hole and 18 hole course will get you using a good assortment of clubs from your bag. Best of all its out in the country so you will be breathing fresh air the whole time! Very close to Oakville and the roads are well signed making it one of the easiest golf courses to get to.
Nice course, affordable and friendly staff
Great golf facility. Very well kept. Friendly staff. A little expensive on weekends for an executive length course.
Played for the first time recently, easy to walk layout and pretty straight forward course. Greens were in pretty good shape nice and soft a bit on the slow side. The par 3s were a good mix of long and shorter holes which was fun. Only suggestion would be to put pins in better spots, I found most pins were either right and the front like 3 feet from the collar or in the back 3 feet from the collar which makes for long putts and difficult chips. Fun course overall!
Friendly local Oakville course. Good value and good conditions this year.
I've been here twice with friends since the course opened this year. I dont think we'll be back. Here is some feedback: Positives 1) The clubhouse and pro shop are gorgeous. For a public golf course, it's top notch. 2) The holes are reasonably well laid out and the greens were in pretty decent shape. 3) Staff I encountered were friendly and seemed happy to be there. Negatives 1) We came in early May and the course was a swamp. We played the week of May 26 and it was still pretty wet. There were weeds everywhere off the fairways, and the general maintenance/look and feel of the course wasn't that nice. Kind of feels like they let the place go. Lots of empty ball washers too. 2) It's relatively expensive for an executive course. $44+tax for 18 holes. I'd be ok with that if it was a premium product. It just isn't. 3) The course location isn't ideal. Very few mature trees (no shade), lots of plane traffic from Pearson buzzing overhead, and there is a hydro corridor running down the middle of the property that is a bit of eyesore.
Staff is nice, golf course is well taken care of. People you meet are friendly Just a good time.
A decent, forgiving course.
Course is in great shape. Signing up and paying is well-organized, and respectful of COVID19 restrictions.
Very nice
Great challenge and so reasonably priced.
An enjoyable Executive course in Oakville. Personally, I enjoy the back 9. However, the front 9 allows you the opportunity to use some of your longer clubs. I think some of the fescue could be cut a little shorter - easy to loose a lot of balls if not accurate with your shots. One of the few courses that still has portable water stations. One suggestion would be for the cart girl to have more selection.
Great course for quick games and beginners.
Beautiful place. Greens are very well kept with much of practice fields. Power carts, clubs, balls and all essentials are available for rent. Much fun as corporate team building event or for a next day of relaxing in a nice surrounding.
Played there for the first time was really great course for beginners and experts shot a 71 3rd year golfing will play again for sure great exprience.
Nice 18 hole course. Would be great if they have more rental carts.
As an executive golf course, I loved that I even a relative novice like myself is able to play a fairly decent game without getting too intimidated by hazards and difficult holes on this course. Oakville Executive is very easy to reach, and fun to play. I would recommend this course to golfers of all skill levels.
Fantastic
Played the mystic ridge. Second course of the season. The tee boxes were well maintained. …
Amazing experience
Nice well kept small course
I'm pretty sure they use the local livestock to cut the grass here. I guess the lawn mowers are closed for business too due to COVID.
Lots of challenging holes
awesome place for the rich ;)
Nice layout for beginners or those looking for a quick round. Greens in great shape though pretty slow, tee boxes needed to be and the fairways were okay.
Great courses and great staff. A real gem
Nice course. The 9 hole is decent too and almost always has availability if you want squeeze in a 2 hour round. The 18 is pretty straightforward with a few challenges here and there. Friendly staff as well.
Course was a little rough, beer cart a little slow. No birdies, lol
Relaxed atmosphere, great to work the short game _ leave the driver in the bag
Great place to golf at fair prices!
Great day out with the girl's. The course is in great condition and not that challenging and the food was great.
Some good...some bad...great to get oot though.
The greens were nice but the grass was dead and sparce on the fairway. That's the only reason why it's a four. This round was in mid Sept so that may be why. Nice and short 18, lots of fun for high handicappers.
An amazing experience, the staff were extremely professional and courteous. I had a great time.
One of our favorite courses. It's great that they are putting money into improving the cart paths. Still searching for that elusive hole in one. I know Mystic Ridge will give up one soon.
A great course for a great price, it's family owned by 2 lovely ladies they and the staff rock .
Love it.Glad they are open .
The rough is very rough and some holes cross water, but course is open with few trees relatively. Not easy to stay on fairways for beginners but fun course. Nice Par 3 practice area and Cafe
Always good
Service is great! Greens were good. Fairways have been lost to the heat or lack of water I guess.
Lovely club house, decent food and Angel is a nice course
It was well maintained, great for beginners, and challenging for an intermediate player.
6:30 am tee off time, beautiful peaceful time Excellent golf experience.
Do not golf here during COVID. They are not following safety standards and when brought to management it was shrugged off. Proper complaint has been filed with the relevant agency. There are courses to golf at that are safe in the mean time.
27 holes of golf available here (18 hole and a 9 hole course). Amazing facility for the relatively low green fees.
Good place to tune the game up. A nice walk not overly difficult but you can find trouble easily. Greens have been in good shape and ball runs very nice
Great gold course, excellent service. The staff is extremely friendly.
One of the more frustrating places to play. We were four. A twosome ahead of us, sharing a bag hit four to five shots every shot. No twosome should ever hold up a foursome. No Marshall to keep them moving We got little sympathy from the clubhouse when we complained We played the nine hole course. You’d think this one, which is more for beginners that they’d make it easier to play. Why not clean up all the fescues so that guys aren’t always looking for balls. Also why the long grass around the bunkers - makes no sense. This course takes the fun out of golf I’ve played there twice this year - never again.
Great little golf course. Have been a regular there for many years. Very friendly staff.
Good place, was able to get 18 holes in after teeing off at 5:30 pm
Always a great place to play. Even in early spring.
Good for the price.
Great course. 2 options - 9 holes or 18! Busy course but not crazy. The parking lot needs to be extended.
Friedly staff. Course is short but interesting.
Course is in great shape
Very good
Just played the par 36- 9 hole Angel’s View - in good shape and challenging enough for average golfers - great for warm up for the more seasoned golfers as well
Absolutely beautiful course. It was very interesting and challenging. I had a great time and took in great scenery. The club house is very nice and the carts very pretty new and very clean. The grass in good condition throughout the course. Reasonably priced as well!
Great course for a quick game.
Always enjoy playing here. Fairways are open and the greens fun but not too challenging. The scrub has been cut back this year to make it easier to find your ball faster which is welcome.
perfect for beginners...or a casual round...kids are welcome. course in great shape.
First time playing here. Lots of par 3’s perfect for beginners with wide open fairway’s. I would definitely come back.
Good course
Nice open course in good shape and a decent price compared to others in the area.
Fun course and in great shape.
Great value and very good staff
Good place to golf that has a 9-hole and an 18-hole course.
Course is in amazing shape (2019). 9 hole is great for a quick round at all levels of golfers. 18 is great iron practice. Restaurant is awesome. Beautiful club house.
Amazing Location!!
It had the stupidest user interface ever to book tee time and they don’t accept booking over the phone!
Nice short course. Restaurant has great food.
Nice course with a very nice club house!
Fairways were very dry and hard. Greens were nice
Very well maintained golf courses and nice people at the club house.
Nice short course, great for beginners
Friendly
Great course , but keep your Driver in the bag .
Course conditions are not what I have experienced in prior years. Rating disappointed.
A decent 18 and 9 hole facility to practise shorter clubs as most holes are on the short side.
We're going through a hot spell, but the course was burnt just about everywhere. Greens were as long as regular fairways... incredibly difficult to putt and made for a sub-par round.
Excellent course, excellent staff, very kids friendly, lovely surroundings, delicious food, amazing facilities.. my 10 year old daughter loves playing at this course. The staff are always friendly and cheerful. Highly recommend.
Good little course for a quick round but unfortunately you don't allow twosomes? I called to book a twilight round for myself and my wife who is a beginner and was told we "couldn't go out on our own, it's not allowed and we would be paired with another group" except every time I've played OE, there have clearly been twosomes out on the course! It's not the first time this rule has been stated to me but I guess your rules are arbitrary depending on who is in the pro shop. Given the time slot, I was hoping for a little more welcoming attitude and some understanding but instead I received outright objection to the notion of a twosome at 6:30 pm. This course is conveniently close to home and perfect for my wife to learn the game but there is a lot of competition in the area fighting for our $$ to play a twilight round.
Nice course to take your kids for a game of golf.
Very very well kept course
A good starter course for anyone wanting to learn to golf. There is a GAO certified 9 hole and an executive 18 hole. Courses are quite flat so it's easy to walk but not as picturesque. My son and I have been here a half dozen times. Staff is friendly. Clubhouse is quite nice for an average course.
If you enjoy an overbooked course and playing through hydro power lines than this course is for you. I would not recommend.
I started the drive to Oakville Executive having forgotten my pull cart in my garage. No biggie I thought. Just an fyi- I just paid $7 to rent a pull cart for 9 Holes. Seven dollars...$ 7....
Very nice people running the place..greens are fast..just a little short ..but fun to play!!
Best place to work on your game
Played the nine hole and loved it. Awesome course and maintained perfectly.
Amazing customer service! So accomadating and helpful!
Good rate
I played the 18 hole Mystic course for the first time. Fairway were horrible to the point that I'd be ashamed to call it a golf course. Greens looked much better but runs so, so slow. For the value you can find better. Service was good. …
Challenging rough.
Great course for me and my son. No pressure golf and forgiving but still hard enough to challenge.
Great little place to play golf
Mondays great to golf at Twilight. Nice walk. Nice course.
One of the worst courses Ive had the experience of going to! I went 5 times this year since prices were fair, and they were never booked full, and out of the 5 times 4 were bad. The only reason I feel like one of the times was not bad was because I went with a group of older adults which is why I believe the staff didn’t discriminate against me and my younger age like they usually do when I go with younger adults. One of the best examples of their discriminatory practices I can remember was in early June of 2020 when I booked a tee time for 4 people with 2 power carts a week in advance. However, when I got to the proshop with my group, they said I did not book the power carts and we would have to walk. I was very shocked because when I went with the older group of adults a few weeks earlier, they didn’t even need to book power carts and our group got 2, but when I actually went the extra step to be proactive to book them, they said we did not when I was with the younger group. Anyways since me and my group did not want to walk, we asked for a refund which staff was very hesitant to do and they insisted they would give us a voucher instead, I choose not to argue any further as the staff were very pushy. As I am leaving, I look at the vouchers, and they did not even reimburse us for the right amount after they pretty much called us liars and said we did not book power carts when we actually did, and here the staff are making mistakes with the vouchers they gave us, so I had to go back in and have them corrected. They did not compensate us in any way for waking up at 6am to drive 30 minutes to their course after they made two mistakes (power carts and voucher), and after when we went 2 weeks later to play we had the course marshal (I think) following us telling us to pick up the pace when we were waiting for the people in front of us. There was also other problems with the staffs negligence about other situations that took place, but this is the best example I can think of to not go if you are younger and don’t want to be condescended and made to feel lesser.
This was probably the worst golf experience I've ever had. Played Mystic Ridge yesterday with two other friends. The fairway was so unkempt on each hole that it was practically the same as hitting off of concrete. We made adjustments to our swings to overcompensate for this and as a result we feel like we came out of the day as worse golfers. We waited at least five minutes on the tee box of every hole for the group in front of us to finish while they wrote down their scores on the green. Overall, this cumulatively delayed our entire 18 holes by 30-45 minutes. We will not be returning here again.
Course is in good shape. Good price and lots of fun!
Nice course
Great quality course at an affordable rate. Staff is always fantastic. Highly recommend
Great and reasonably priced course.
