REVIEWS OF Glen Eagle Golf Club IN Etobicoke

Played here last weekend. The Gold tee boxes are not maintained. Some greens had brown patches on them. There were some fairways that don't look any different than the rough. Lol Great course. Great staff. I played here years ago and it was beautiful. They definitely need to work on course maintenance. Not worth the 100+ they charge to play.

This place is lovely, large meeting room. Awesome get away. The food is amazing. I ordered the chicken meal, it was tender and delicious. The ladies who served our group were very pleasant.

Andrew Ivanauskas

Great golf course with friendly staff, always a pleasure to golf here!

Liam Doyle (Skiam)

Golf isn't really my thing so take my review with a grain of salt. It was my first time golfing ever, and I attended 9 holes with coworkers. The staff was friendly and helpful. The carts were in good shape. Myself and one of the people I was playing with rented clubs, but we were each missing a few. I was missing a putter, but thankfully between the two of us we had everything we needed. Course was nice and easy to navigate. I had no complaints.

Art P

Very beautiful holes, tough walk, lots of hills, only negative was everyone has carts and still was very very slow to play 18. Other than that it's a 5 star

kevin connell

Other than a frost delay which is unavoidable the course was in pristine condition pace of play was very good . This was the second time playing here won't be my last

It seems like a very plain “boys-club” Nothing special as their main focus is golf. Place needs updating to get them out of the 70’s. Its more like a catering hall n cafeteria than a place for any nice events, however, the large patio with large gazebo is very nice fir wedding ceremonies. Bonus is that it is very economical for a wedding in comparison to other venues. IN RETROSPECT.... Indeed I did not go there just to do a review. I hope no one does that. I appreciate the response to my first review. I was attending an event. To be fair, i will be attending other events there and look forward to reviewing the positive as the response suggests. Thank you

Beautiful course. Not terribly hard but can prove some challenges. The staff is so helpful and nice. A definite go back!

Great course! Went several times for a Special Olympics tournament and the staff was great! The food they served at lunch and dinner was also good and serving staff was very friendly. During the course, the attendants that drive around and serve beer (and sometimes other liquor) are very friendly. Good environment.

Golf in October! Hockey has started, baseball playoffs are under way, and Fall golf, doesn't get any better. The Blue/yellow course was in great shape. Never played here before, so I would like to see how good the course conditions are in mid season, they must be fantastic! Not an easy course, but who wants easy? Greens are nicely guarded, fairways are fairly tight with enough room for a bit of error off the tee. Definitely would come back, a bit of a drive from Toronto, but then most of the worth while course are too.

I enjoyed this course. Long, tricky, generally well maintained. Some of the tee boxes were in rough shape, but could be the day.

Hanley Mathew

Very nice course, nice elevation changes, greens in good shape. It is ageing, old power carts, poor amenities and club House.

Shawn Atwal (Shawn Drives)

My wife held her baby shower at Glen Eagle. Amazing venue. The biggest thing that stood out was the customer service here. They were always around to help with anything including boosting a dead car. Food was excellent. Especially the pizza. 10/10.

Michael Vogelsberg

Played Yellow & Red courses this time. Enjoyed the layout as it presented numerous challenges. Yellow fairways very sparse but playable, greens in autumn condition, bunkers playable. Will go again.

Miena Ayoub

I was very disappointed with the course condition considering the price especially tee boxes and greens. The pace of play also was an issue. We asked the cart girl to call the Marshall because it was getting ridiculously slow and nobody showed up so we kindly asked the groups ahead to let us play through. P

Great course and well maintained! Played the blue and yellow course. The fairways and the greens are well kept. The price is a little more on the expensive side but worth it once in a while for a great outing.

Kevin Khan

Great course, 3 9's so lots of different looks. Played a tournament and pace was pretty fast when ch the s good.

James Rebelo

Great course, lots of fun to please no matter your level of experience

Jack Scapin

Great course. Too bad my game wasn't great lol. Would definitely be back

Will Stapleton

The course is long and beautiful, there are practice chipping and putting greens as well as a driving range. However our golfing was completely ruined by the over-booked snail paced speed of play. The starter actually sent foursomes out in front of us on the tenth hole because the first hole was so backed up. We were already stuck behind two foursomes on the same tee. We waited over 10 minutes at the end of each hole, often more. I would recommend you stay away from this course on a weekend as no amount of early scheduling can avoid the over booking that happens here. Disappointing as the staff are very nice and the facility is great.

Paul S

Course is in fairly decent shape, although doesn't warrant $85 per round. There are courses in that area that, are cheaper and in much better upkeep and playing conditions.

Tyler J

Great track. 3 sets of 9 holes. All pretty different, so the mix is nice. Close to the city. Couple of 500+ yard par 5s are fun. Recommended. Pretty well maintained. A little expensive if you don't get a deal.

Peter Gianakas

Time to upgrade the Golf Carts, they are borderline dangerous. For the price we pay, Golf carts Must be in better condition.

Richard Haynes

Well taken care of grounds....well laid out course with its challenges

Peter Tino

I don't really golf. Only once a year for a tournament set up by my manager at work. I had fun playing. The course is nice. The staff are great and really helpful. The food served at dinner was really good!

David Robinson

Good course for the intermediate to advanced golfer. Good value!

Brian Lepp

Decent shape. Greens need some work. Almost getting too pricey for the course

Mary Marrone

Amazing venue! Great food!

Carmen Chiovitti

The golf course it self is an enjoyable round. Didn't find staff over friendly. The big negative is the folks I played with, walked the 18 holes. We finished on the blue 9, they had a 15 minute walk back to the parking lot. Why would they make the blue the last 9?

nick pliotas

Greens in need or work, carts in need of upgrade... decent place to golf but not worth over $200.00 for 2 people to play.

이상길

A little wet ground but it is enjoyable in overall.

Lenny Matchett

To bloody expensive 85 dollars for a senior..good buy.

Angelo Cairo

Course is in great shape

We hosted our wedding at Glen Eagle Golf Club October 2018 and we would highly recommend this venue to family and friends! Great food was a high priority for us and they did not disappoint. Our meal was absolutely phenomenal, we were able to customize our menu and bar to suit our needs and a variety of dietary restrictions. There were a ton of options, it was all cooked to perfection with super fresh ingredients. Many compliments to the chef! From start to finish the wedding planning process was so simple and effortless. Glen Eagle is the complete package. We wanted a rustic but classic venue and they delivered (the stone fireplace in the Albion room got me!). We primarily communicated with Jaymie, who was attentive and helpful, answering any questions and a huge support. We finalized our details and had our tasting with Brad, I can confidently say communication between the two of them was clear and they both ensured our day went off without a hitch. The serving staff was professional and attentive, everyone who worked the night of our wedding was very helpful and accommodating. Glen Eagle staff was a huge help with set-up, bringing my vision to life and worked well with outside vendors. We had a point of contact on site up until the end of the night including clean-up. Our photos turned out beautifully thanks to the meticulously maintained grounds. Our guests raved about cocktail hour, the variety and quality of of hors d'oeuvres and the overall atmosphere. Glen Eagle is a hidden gem, I would definitely consider them for future events.

Course was in great condition, (fairways, greens and tee boxes) and overall a very good value compared to other courses. Have golfed here many times, and is one of my favorites. 3 separate 9s (that you combine any two of for an 18) means you can golf here many times and have a different experience every time. Will return for sure.

P

Great course, well maintained. Not sure it's worth the price tag but they do a good job taking care of the place.

Imants Kivlis

The golf course looks tired. This could be one fantastic track with some tlc and spent investment. Still need to hit the ball straight to score well

Armen Nahabedian

Great track, target style golf! Lots of dog legs and interesting tee shots. Lots of fun overall! Staff was great!! Even our pairing was awsome! We started on the Yellow 9 which is at the back of the course, so its a bit of drive to get to the first tee, so leave yourself an etra 10 min to make it to the tee deck. We followed that to the Red 9. Great course, it just needs a bit of TLC. Greens were rolling nice but were patchy in spots. Bunkers were rough, but managed to stay out of them for the most part! Tee decks could use a little work as well.. With a little bit of TLC this could be a real gem!! Would definitely go back!

Brian Keys

Pace of play was horrible. Had to call the clubhouse to get a marshal out and get the group in front of us moving. Took 45 min to play 2 holes. Course was in decent shape and is a great layout. Greens were good and pretty fast.

Jordan Dobson

Garbage golf course. Not sure what the tee time spread is but it took 3 of us us 2.5 hours to finish 9. Course is not maintained and too busy. Bunkers are rock hard. Rough is full of weeds. Greens have lots of dry brown spots. Requested a refund for 9 holes because we didn’t have 5 hours for 18 holes and had to put up a fight to get it. Will never return.
