This Golf belongs to the category of Golf course.
Saturday May 12: enjoyable first day on the links. This is a fun, convenient course right near downtown Toronto. The staff are very friendly and run things well and on-time. The casual vibe makes it a pleasure, whether you bring your own foursome, or are grouped up by the starter. Some of the fairways were wet & muddy but that's typical early in the season. The clubhouse has a "cottage-country" feel great deck – easy to forget you're a few minutes from the corner of Eglington & Don Mills.
One of the best golf clubs in town
Friendly, comfortable local 9 home course
Golf course was decent for the price, but the best part is the tiny clubhouse with 35 different beers!! Food was super cheap and all homemade as well. Really enjoyed the 9 holes and lunch here!
Fantastic morning. Thanks guys
Went here for a golf tournament. Nice 9 hole course in the heart of the city. Fairly challenging for a beginner but not too difficult that it made it unenjoyable. This is a no frills course with no carts and I didn't see a beverage cart either. However there is a nice clubhouse with a patio.
Price does not match value. Fairways were a mess. No one fixes divots on the greens. I think I repair at least 4 per hole.
La Familia , just wonderful folks all around, Shawn and I call it our own Country Club ????️♀️
Good course for what it is a 9 hole course in the heart of the city Fellow golfers and staff are friendly and casual. No snootiness at all
Always a pleasure seeing Rocco and the boys. Love playing there again.
Beautiful course, everyone is friendly
Great city nine hole. Walking only, no power carts. The track is fun, if a little vanilla. Great for the beginner golfer as it's very fair, not a lot in terms of long or tricky holes. Pace of play can definitely be an issue and they've raised their rates to almost $40 in recent years. Bit steep to walk nine. But it's close!
nice 9 hole course in the city
This is the friendliest place on earth. The patio is the greatest secret in Toronto. The food is fabulous. The family and staff make each person feel as though they are the most important customer they have. All inclusive and accepting. The course is gorgeous and you can’t imagine you are in the heart of the city. You will feel like you are part of the family and after you have had this experience you will want it over and over again.
Great little golf course 9 holes it's in the core of the city but one's you play there you feel like you're away from the city
I have been golfing here for over 20 years!
Good course in the city with 9 holes. Being close to the DVP makes easy to access especially after a long day of work. Bring a few friends and enjoy a morning then head to lunch at shops @ don mills.
Lovely relaxing course! Great walk and scenery!! Friendly staff and owners!
The family that runs this course is like no family I have ever met. When I golf there I'm often greeted with hugs. Yes hugs! They do that because they love the people who visit them. They truly care deeply about the lives of the people who walk through their front door. My friday morning golf game has become my favorite day of the week. This wonderful old fashion Italian family creates an experience like no other place can! Oh yes, and the food, its crazy, freaking good!
Great little 9 hole course ! Quick and fun.
Very convenient location. Great property on the river in mid town. As a golf course the layout is quite good, but the river doesn't really come into play too much. A couple of short par 4s a few at decent length. A nice par 5 and the par 3s are ok too. While I'm sure the owners are very nice and the atmosphere is friendly, as a golfer I can't give the course itself more than 3 stars. The fairways are cut to the length of the second cut of rough at 4 or 5 star courses. The greens are bumpy and very slow. No driving range and I didn't see a practise green. It was definitely an enjoyable 2 hours for 9 holes but you should know this is not a 4 or 5 star course.
Amazing course for a quick 9 hole. The guys that run it are awesome too
Great 9 hole course for any skill level
Within the city. Very friendly. Family owned and operated.
Solid 9-hole golf course. In the end, its worthy of a 4-star purely based on its location within the City of Toronto. If this course were located anywhere else it would likely be a 2. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Flemingdon is a perfect option for a quick and convenient 9 hole round. The course is very easy and is in okay(ish) shape.
Wonderful course nestled in the city. Offers some nice challenge to the more novice golfer such as myself, while still being enjoyable for the more seasoned players. Course is ALWAYS in top notch condition when I have played, and the staff is wonderful. We enjoy playing there on a bi-weekly basis. Great way to start a day before going into the office.
Great to be golfing at Flemington GC again.
Great family run golf facility in the middle of the city, when the kitchen is fully open you won't get better food at a golf course.
Short, but solid little course on the outskirts of the city.
Very poorly maintained course, yet more expensive than city courses. Mediocre rental shop, and only pull-carts for moving about the course.
Truly a 9 hole "diamond-in-the-rough". Fun, easy to walk, challenging enough for all levels. You know its middle of the city with the hydro lines on #6 but it has river flowing, birds chirping and the people are friendly. The family that runs it are a special part of what makes it worthwhile. They work hard to make sure everyone has a good round.... Hard to get tee time, but worth it when you do. The way golf should be.
I've been golfing here regularly for the past 10 years. It's a nice, quaint, somewhat challenging little walking course, tucked away in the centre of Toronto. It's family run and operated, and when the wives are in the kitchen, the food there is terrific!!! Best meatball sandwiches and other treats. The bakeables are amazing.
A good ride if you can get a second lap in.
Nice local course in Toronto. A large variety of challenging holes, but the greens are in rough shape. Great value overall and a nice place to play.
Great little nine hole course in the city.
Greens were not is great shape.
Strange never been here before yo, but it looks like a fun place. dont take this review srsly its not a review
I really enjoyed this golf course. There are no golf carts.
Soso bad greens
Friendly staff and close
A nice 9 hole course in the middle of town. A couple of challenging holes but overall pretty easy. If the greens were better this would be 5 stars but they're generally slow and bumpy. Food in the pro shop is usually excellent.
As an average or below average golfer this course was absolutely perfect. Played 2 9's and loved this course. The peameal bacon and egg was delicious. The whole staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I will definitely play this course again.
A family-run gem in the heart of the city. Fairways are generous and the greens can be tricky and with the hiring of an expert greens keeper are in the best shape ever. Fees have increased noticeably and it's not quite the value it once was, but find me another course in the heart of the city!
The new rates are ridiculous for the quality of the course. Gouging due to pandemic.
Love this place. It's right in the City, well maintained, a good mix of holes, and friendly staff. Be aware that this is definitely a short and easy course, and not comparable to a typical par 72 course. It also gets quite busy and most who play here are hackers, leading to long rounds. But given its location and convenience, I would still recommend. Definitely beats driving an hour out of the City to try and squeeze 9 in after work.
I love this small little course tucked away. It is perfect for beginner golfers and those wanting a quick game in the city. Staff have always been friendly and helpful and you can't beat the price.
Great pro shop. Very friendly - like family.
Good golf and great food
A family-run gem in the heart of the city. Fairways are generous and the greens can be tricky and with the hiring of an expert greens keeper are in the best shape ever. Fees have increased noticeably and it's not quite the value it once was, but find me another course in the heart of the city!
Excellent 9 hole course. Perfect.???? for a weekend hacker. Good exercise, because there are no motorised carts
Great family run 9 hole walking course and the best food and bakery items!
Nice easy course for both beginner and skilled.
$40 for 9 holes seems a bit much. Showed up at 4:15 (in early July) but that was too late to play 18 apparently. Course was empty yet my gf wasn't allowed to walk the course with me.
Perfect little inner city course.
Great little 9 hold public course tucked away at Eglinton and DVP
Love this course. Love the family that runs the course! When many are heading north Friday afternoons, I'm avoiding traffic and enjoying "The Royal Flem". The course is approximately 2600 yards. The greens are fairly large, albeit fairly slow. Not a lot of rough on the course, I assume in an effort to quicken the pace (maybe to reduce the maintenance time ;) The sand traps have taken a beating this year with all the rain. There's a single par 5 that is reachable in two for the long-hitters. And there's at least one par four that is reachable in one. The Don River twists throughout the course, although it really shouldn't be in play if you can keep your drives relatively straight (slicers and hookers beware). If you haven't yet experienced the course, give it a try.
The people are great and the course is challenging
Nice place to play golf, or have a cup of coffee.
FIVE STARS TO VITO, ENZO, CARMELO, AGATHA AND THE FAMIGLIA FOR AN AMAZING BIRTHDAY
Great place to ball up, lots of white people in the ghetto, train tracks near by. Cool place, would go again
Great course. Good fun.
Friendly, comfortable local 9 home course
Such a pleasurable experience. Everyone is so warm and friendly. Pretty golf course.
Was our first time playing here, all I can say is Great and friendly staff, great course. Will definitely play again. Love that it's close to work as well.
Amazing place
(Translated) So friendly owners, an Italian immigrant family. The park character with river, small dunes, old plants. VERY nice, 7:30 am in September. It is possible to take a shower, the owner's family offers a small snack.
Great little course nestled in the Don Valley. Reasonable rates and usually not too busy. Nothing the course can do about it, and it is rather funny. On the 8th hole sometimes the kids from the apartment building along the fairway will hide on the hill just out of site from the tee box. Once you take your shot and if you land in the fairway they run out of the woods grab your ball and take off with it. This happened to me once and I was completely stunned. I talked to the guys in the pro shop and they mentioned it happens. ????
Good value, nice little clubhouse, easily accessible from downtown
I belonged to a league at this Golf Club for around eight years. Really nice family and fun course, but the last two years, especially 2021, prices went kaboom and the membership fee was insanely expensive - $250 for a membership and the hightest price for a round of 9 holes (for seniors) that I've come across yet $45 vs around $26 elsewhere. The course was busy all Summer and Fall 2020 so not sure why they quadrupled the cost of membership this year and the green fees. I was extremely disappointed in them to do this to a league that was loyal for over 25 years. We've all left there now, sadly, playing elsewhere in courses around the city.
Perfect city golfing
Flemingdon is a great little course in the heart of the city. It is well maintained and provides some interesting and challenging holes. Well worth a visit.
What a fantastic little local gem. Well maintained, everyone friendly. Can't recommend enough. Great place to work on your irons and short game.
Great staff and great location. Owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
Very friendly staff, will return for sure
I agree with Steffi. This little course (Flemingdon) has grown on me over the years. It's a gem.
Great course in the middle of the city, owned and run by great people!
Great golf course. Friendly people run this course.
Nice 9 holes course. It has a bit of everything to test your game.
A decent 9 holes to enjoy the summer
A tad expensive for the quality/maintenance level of the course but well kept greens and the price I'd pay on gas and lost time commuting to other courses make this a no brainer decision. Family run, kind service, 5 min drive from my house in prime real estate location. I'm just happy to be able to golf here. Keep it up!
Had a great time.
Love these guys! Family owned golf course. Picturesque and fun. Some challenging holes.
Great place. Nice 9 holes. Had a nice lunch. Will be back soon.
My happy place! Great people, great food, great fun! In the middle of the city.
Best place in the city
An outstanding family run golf course that cares about every part of your golfing experience from the smile you're greeted with at check-in to the amazing homemade food at the snack bar plus a fantastic selection of beer! Play every club in your bag and enjoy the leisurely walk!
Friendly staff. Nice easy course. Convenient for a quick round of golf in the city
Nature in the middle of the city. The best of both worlds.
Best relaxing day
9 hole. Good for hackers. 2 1/2 hrs
Excellent golf course the owners treat you like family. Go play
Amazing staff and service! The owners go out of their way to make you feel at home and comfortable. Highly recommended, beautiful and serene place to be. Definitely a place to be!
Quaint quiet a jewel in the midst of the city....and all inclusive
Ok course. Not great. Nice people. They jacked the price up to $50 due to COVID. Not worth $50 a round. Swampy and lots of mosquitos. Don't offer twilight rates. Will not go back.
Great course, delicious food and friendly staff. What more could you ask for!!!
Old fashioned golf club , nice people , always fun !
Loved the course!!
Its a public course, 9 hole, walk only. The prices are great for what you get, but considering its in a major City, its well worth it. Some long Par 4 and 5s, great short par 3s. 8 and 9 are very cool dog legs that are harder than they look. The owners treat people like old friends, the staff are unbelievably friendly. Ive golfed there over 100 times, and theres a reason why we go back. The owner and staff appreciate the business, most golf courses can learn from them.
Excellent, fun course, good for beginners.
I golfed here for the first time. I didn’t even know there was a golf course in Flemingdon Park. It’s a a quaint little 9 hole in the middle of the city. Offers a good variety of the holes for a 9 hole. However, the best part is the family and employees that work here. We sat down on their patio for a quick bite and a drink after we played, and the service was amazing. They were so friendly and accommodating, we ended up staying for a few more hours. They made us feel at home Love this place and definitely going back.
This is my favourite city course it is a true gem next to down town Toronto.
Beautiful golf park. All green, lush trees....
I've golfed the course frequently over the past 15 years. I live 10 minutes away. The family owned and operated business has a great feel, good food, friendly service and some occasional 'perks'. The setting is picturesque, the course has its challenges, and includes par 5/4s, so the big dog can eat! It is not uncommon to see wildlife including coyotes and deer that live in the valley. I this a unique membership structure, and is also open to the public.
Great staff, coffee home made muffins.Course in great shape enjoyed walking 9 holes with friends . I'll definitely be back weekly
This family run course is a little hidden gem in the heart of the city.
Excellent value
Fabulous/ great people / fun course. Love the fact they are open November 28.
excellent environment. ????????????????????
Family are amazing! Always super nice. Beautiful course. Club house has great food and a huge selection of beers.
Beautiful park
Good
The best
Great little gem in the middle of TO
Course was in good shape and was fun to play!
Great location in the heart of the city. Friendly staff. Nine hole public course.
Amazing course very close/in the city. In amazing shape and challenging for most players. Great layout. The pizza was incredible as are the baked goods. Really nice family run place. A breath of fresh air.
Fun and challenging place to golf in the city
Great 9 hole of different size pars. Walkable, quiet.
Learned to play golf here. Family run - course in great shape always and food so good (especially butter tarts) I could bring my wife on a date here. Staff like Family - great people. Favourite holes: hydro hill, 8 & 9. Anytime you are paired with people to play, they become your friends - no one pretentious or high pressure. Great spot to relax and enjoy golf!
Wonderful 9 hole golf course situated near Eglinton Ave East & DVP. The golf club is family owned and the staff are super friendly. Great place to have a bite before or after a round. Lots of beer to choose from. Vito, Rocco and Enzo make a great team. They will go over top to make sure you have a pleasant round. Cheers guys! See you next week
I had low expectations for a 9 hole course wedged in the middle of the city but this course exceeded them big time. It was in great condition, some challenging holes, good lay out and the people were very friendly. For a really long hitter it would be a very short course but for your average golfer this course is plenty long and you will use your driver more than expected. I would definitely recommend this if your looking for a quick round after work or want to keep it close and cheap on the weekends.
The staff here do everything they can to make this place the best it can be. Friendly, efficient and helpful. Can't believe we still have it so close to downtown. Prime real-estate. Lets hope they can keep the developers away for a long time to come.
Fun course. Great staff.
The friendliest family owned club with home made Italian food & a wonderful patio to boot. A hidden Gem in the middle of Toronto
This is a fantastic family operated 9 hole course on the east side of Toronto (near the science centre). Course includes a Par 5 and two Par 3s. Fairly wide open but several hazards (water and sand) to give golfers some challenges. Clubhouse offers food and a patio to enjoy a quick bite and/or beer after the round.
friendly staffs
The course was in in horrible condition and most greens and tee blocks were missing huge portions of grass. At $40 for 9 holes you're better to spend an extra $25 and get a full 18 at a different city course that will definitely be in much better condition. You'll also get actual fairways. There is no difference between rough and fairway here.
A public course, well run and maintained and definitely relaxed. The layout is enjoyable. Sometimes my twosome gets matched with other players and I have enjoyed the company of everyone I've met here. It's a special place, I think, that loves golf but doesn't get pretentious about it.
Excellent course in the centre of the city
Nice and easy
Golf Club is run well and clean and in the heart of the city.
This course is gorgeous! The trees, the greens and the people are what make this place stand out. Nestled away in the city you feel like you are on a nature adventure. Thank you to the wonderful staff who never forget to smile and make the golfers feel like family. ✌????
The course is well maintained. Greens are slow; but some are still tricky. Food is fantastic, Everyone is very friendly.
Great course for a quick game.
Fun track, but impossible to book if you’re not a “member”... line is always busy, you can only book a day in advance, and when you get through they don’t pick up.
