Have heard about this course for years but this is a first time play for me. Very friendly and a pleasure for beginners to learn and others to practice their short games. In excellent shape considering the drought weather.Although some greens are in a bit of rough shape they are NOT easy pin placements and will knock up your scores!

Dentonia golf course don't care if one of their golf ball smashes people's car window ,they don't take responsibility at ALL !!! they just take a report of complaint and advise you to take it to your car insurance . The least they can do is build higher fences so that cars parked at 30 Teesdale rear parking are not damaged . They should have coverage for shots out of bounds. They should take responsibility for the damage they cause in the community they are located at !!!

First time playing fling golf at this gold course. Got first hand instructions on how to play and had an opportunity to complete all 18 holes in just under 2 hours withy team. It was quite hilly going to one hole to another. Going with a group who is already familiar with the layout of the course was helpful for first timers like me as the markers were sometimes confusing or hard to read.

Great for the short game. And hills for exercise. And on the subway line. Notice to the City of Toronto. Do NOT plant more condos or turn this into a flower garden. Think of Detonia as a mental health facility, if that helps.

You best to call for a tee time as it is a very busy place most days .there are no riding golf carts but they do have pull carts to rent as well as golf clubs balls and tees you must bring or buy at the proshop ,there is a drink cart that drives around the course .the people there are friendly. A great place for beginners ..thank you

Easy to book a tee time online, it’s a great beginner golf course. If you know you are slow, just let the people behind u pass. Staff is very nice aswell. Mosquitos are probably the worst, wear full sleeves and cover them legs, it’s that bad in the afternoon.

Awesome 18 hole par 3 golf course! The holes are fun and a little challenging with many having large elevation changes. The course wasn't crazy busy and it looked well kept. Had a ton of fun playing here for 4 hours! Try out this course if you are new to golf, or are just trying to practice your short game.

First time there. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Course was lovely, with rolling hills, water obstacles, sand traps, and woods. Speaking of woods, it's a small area, par 3 throughout, so no woods allowed in the golf bag, and they're not necessary so that's fine. Looking forward to playing there again.

One of those rare city golf courses. Right by Victoria Park station, so you can take the ttc to the course with your clubs. It's a par 3 and the price isnt too bad. What's nice about this course is the contrast between the beauty of the landscape contasted with the juxtaposition of the high rise apartment complexes. Makes a unique golf experience. Come with friends and youll have a good time.

Perfect place to teach my son. Friendly staff. Finished 18 holes in under 3 hours. True urban golf set agaist the subway station and graffitti covered apartments. No drivers or woods allowed on the course. You'll be asked to leave them in your car or in the shop.

Great casual course, all you really need is a pitching wedge and a putter. Staff are really friendly too. I’ve never had a bad experience at Dentonia, and it’s proximity to vp station makes it super easy to get to.

Course is nice enough, but they will do whatever they can to get the most money out of you. We had an underpar offer to play the course for $19 gives you 2 rounds on the same day. They guy working there said that their deal was $21 which would work out slightly cheaper after the under par deal with processing fees. No problem happy to support a club as I'm sure they get charged for using underpar. When we asked for our slip for a 2nd round he said no you need to pay another $21!!! What! You knew the deal we had now your trying to charge us for the 2nd round, he said yeah you should have used the under par deal. I strongly advise anyone wanting to come here either dont or make sure you use deals outside of this club!! Very disappointed!!!

Can a golf course get any more convenient in the city? All par 3s and some tee offs are on astroturf so bring a bottle cap if you worry about your clubs hitting the solid ground. The course is hilly but fun!

Nice outing with my four-year-old, but the service in the pro shop there is bordering on pedantic. I was told it was against city rules to take a stroller yet can find no mention of this on the website. I was also told that my son should pick up after 8 shots - I guess they expected him to be slow. But in the end we overtook 5 groups going through the course.

Great little 18 hole course right in the city for practicing your short game. The average hole is 100 yards - no drivers or woods allowed. Very affordable. From the few times I've been there, the greens have been in great condition. Overall the course is well maintained.

I've been to Dentonia a handful of times and it's a perfectly decent city-owned par 3. I like how it's conveniently located within the city (East York) and for a small course they usually have someone out in the cart providing refreshments. If you're looking to pull out the woods this isn't the place but for a quick round on a nice day it's not a bad choice at all. Just be careful if you're a lefty or hook the ball, Victoria Park Ave is really close on some of the perimeter holes!
