This Golf is included in the category of Public golf course.
Staff is very friendly and the course is always well maintained.
Fantastic course always in good condition. Great service in the club house as well!
They made us hot dogs when the kitchen was closed!
One of my favorite places to golf. Ann and staff are amazing
No pretentiousness, great staff, excellent service. Fun course to play for players of all abilities. Carts available, good rates. Clubhouse food is traditional fare - and really good! Draft beer on tap.
Nice course for a below average golfer as there isnt a whole lot of trouble that you can get into. The price may be a little high for what you get but you can almost always get a tee time.
greens were great and tees were ok but the fairway was roughed up pretty good.
Great course, will definitely play again!
Beautiful smaller coarse but very busy wait times
Good course. Greens are a bit rough
Great little course in the edmonton
People should k ow that this club is not ran very well no Marshalls to keep the flow going and also lots of drunk people smoking dope and drink and leaving the empty bottles all over the course and then Driving everywhere all over the course out of control and even through the sand traps too worse day of golfing today I ever had and I even brought my family wife and two sons there and felt embarrassed to have them there and we have spent a lot of money there through the years and have had this happen to us lots of times through the years.... This place has turned to a big joke... Sorry but won't be back again ever.
Decent course for the price. Friendly staff
Nice course..beautiful flowers
Course in great shape!
Great course for all ability levels. I've been to this course numerous times over the season and always enjoyed it. It's a plus that prices are some of the cheapest in the city. The biggest let down was at the beginning of the season as they were slow to tender to the courses - lots of bumps and poor grass quality at the beginning (a lot better now). The clubhouse and golf carts could do with an update.
Always a great place to golf! Course is in great shape! A big thank you for kindness to Rose and Shirley!
Great course, great rates and great service.
Decent condition after all the rain that came down recently. Lots of puddles but the greens are in decent shape. No driving range. Pro shop very limited. Practice putting green available, no bunkers.
The guy who helped me was talking on the phone the whole time. After I signed in he tossed me keys for the cart and pointed at the door. Slick customer service
No driving range is unfortunate. Prices are a little high for this course. No beer cart. Course is in decent shape and relatively easy.
The course was in fairly good shape (fairways and greens). The price was right and we were pretty close to teeing of on time. BUT, why the 2 stars. No golfer I know of wants to get held up by allowing single and double golfers in front of them, especially during peak hours. It is up to the course to manage play. If it's busy, and you have 2 twosomes ready at the same time, make it a foursome. As for singles- really, there was one in front of us and one behind. We asked the guy behind if he wanted to go ahead and join the other single in front-nope. He stayed behind as there's no way we wanted to add to the long round by having 2 singles in front of us. 4 hrs 40 mins later is a good way to ruin not just a golfers game but also you're business.
First time out. Was wonderful to be back on the the fairway. Enjoyed the evening
Nice club house with great patio, forgiving course that unfortunately was soaking wet because of all the rain, not their fault. Reasonably priced and lots of sanitizing procedures in place, the ladies I dealt with working there were lovely.
Great course to have a great scores.
You wanna see some statistics talk all I'll say is look at the amount of people who rated the golf course compared to the Church above it.
In good shape, excellent course
I have been playing this course for years and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get in a quick round without too much travel time. The staff are always courteous, the clubhouse is roomy and the food delicious. The course is very forgiving so great for high handicappers but still comes up and bites you in the behind if your attention wanders. See you there!
I like this course. I think its presents good value for what it is. Twin Willows doesn't try to do too much and creates at atmosphere welcoming for all golfers. Tee boxes were generally pretty nice and flat, and fairways were lush. The layout is not all that challenging for the majority of golfers - if they decide to play smart. Some short par 4's and 5's that provide the opportunity to put up a good score. No range as mentioned by other reviewers. Greens rolled well but a bit slower, were receptive, and it seemed most divots were fixed. Some holes appear challenging and thin, although the trees aren't thick between holes so you usually have a good opportunity to save the hole. We golfed this course Friday afternoon/evening on one of the first nice nights in over a week, and the course was almost empty. As much as the club would prefer the course to be busy, playing at a pace that does not feel too fast or too slow is great. Service was generally good, we saw the beer cart a few times, however I was unable to review the hot dog as I stopped into the shop and couldn't find anyone while my buddies were waiting on the 10th hole. I enjoyed this course for what it's meant to be and would golf it again. ....also more geese than I've ever seen in one spot. The droppings were slightly annoying sometimes.
Course is in good condition. Staff are great. Green fees are reasonable. Easily walkable. Restaurant is open, with decent well-priced food and drink.
It's a nice little golf course.
Harder than most would think. Front 9 in narrow for the most part. Pretty challenging for inexperienced or 'amateur' golfers.
This is a great little golf course
Absolutely love Twin Willows! Great for good golfers and beginners alike. The staff are exceptional!
This location does not have a golf range Well maintained, green grass all around A lot of geese around the course, which was nice, but lots of bird poop around holes.. 4-5?
Very well cared for course Forgiving fairways with fairway sand and I little water Only played the front nine can't wait to do the full 18 Only complaint is no beer cart but the do offer deals on 6 pack for the cart
Had to wait 20 mins to start our round even though the back 9 was COMPLETELY empty, because the starter wanted a group that was finishing off the front 9 to play in front of us. Makes sense right? They also said a beer cart was out and about but we didn't see it once. Good thing we caught the deal on Groupon because I'd be upset if we paid full price.
In good shape !
Pleasant staff, reasonable rates and the course is 10/10 - it is immaculate from corner to corner, and the fairways and greens are in beautiful shape considering other courses are really struggling this year. Easy to walk, but quite a challenging course - thoroughly enjoyable and would not hesitate to go back again !!!!
Nice place to golf
Fun course. Short. Not too hard, but fun.
Greens are in very nice shape, but found many fairways dry and patchy in areas. Prices seem to be high this year for this calibre of course...maybe due to the pandemic...who knows, but definitely on the high side.
The course is in great shape considering the dry season we're having.
We had a good time- fairway was in pretty rough shape. No beverage cart
The course was in good shape. Friendly staff! Beautiful day.
it's close to me, it's not too expensive and it's reasonably nice.
I'd give it a 5 but I find it very expensive for what it is. I do live going here but comparitively there are much nicer courses for the price, with that said the course is a lot of fun, it is kept in quite good condition and I do very much enjoy coming here.
Way too overpriced for what you're getting. There's goose poop all over the greens, fairways are as hard as a rock, and no drinking water on any of the holes. Plus there is no twilight rate, I took my dad there for fathers day for 9 holes at 6pm and paid 35 dollars each which in my opinion is just too much, it wouldn't be if the course was maintained better.
Excellent course for mid to low handicappers who want to challenge their game. Get technical on the front with shot shaping, and wind on the the back nine bringing the hazards into play. Small lounge, but friendly staff
A nice little track. Not long but ok track.
Course is in very good condition. Not many in town are this year.
An amazing place to golf... great rates and friendly service
I was a really good course loved it.
Easy course but fairly well maintained.
Very friendly and good amateur course which is always well groomed. 4
Excellence
Very nice and novice friendly!
Decent course nothing fancy
Course was in good shape. Very wet due to rain but overall still playable. Only issue was with ball marks on the green, no one repairs them.
Nice short course and easy, not many water hazard. Friendly staffs and inside city easy access from main road.
I was driving down 137 Ave at 5:50 pm on Mon July 7 when my vehicle was struck by a golf ball. I stopped in on Tuesday night to let them know what happened. The only response I got was that the golf course assumes no responsibility for stuff like that. Not at all impressed.
Decent course in decent condition. Constantly slow play. Don’t go after 4 because they make you walk the back nine. They don’t seem to want to work later in the day putting carts away. If it was cheaper I might expect that. But the value for money is lacking.
Called and booked for party of 3. Times available were 2 30 and 430. On our 15th hole we were kicked off because she told us we only paid for a 9 hole. We said we would pay the difference but she didnt want to. End of the day it is not fault if they cannot do their job properly and charge us the correct amount. It was still 50$+ a person which is what many other courses charge for twilight how were we supposed to know, we asked for 18 we get charged for 9 and get grief for it. Twin willows can get bent will not come back.
Good forgiving course, lots of room to play
Staff are great, course is always playable. Greens were a little frost bit to start this year but they worked hard to get them in top shape. Hopefully we don't have another deep freeze and they come out rockin next year.
Course in great shape perfect pace enjoyed the round
Fantastic service. Had a great time. (Bring big spray) Other than that we had an amazing time. We will be back every week this summer. Bailey was our server and was super professional. Just an overall great experience.
This course is our favourite home away from home. The staff is terrific -- everyone from the owner to the club house personnel to the grounds keepers to the greens superintendent -- all are very professional and capable people. The food is excellent. We golf at many different golf courses and Twin Willows is the best!
Course is in great condition, super friendly and helpful staff.
Management here is absurd, got kicked off the course at 7:47pm on hole 15. Got told we didnt pay for twilight even tho we paid 54$ at 430pm ( twilight hours ). Will never be back here again.
Fun course
If you want to waste a whole day, book a Tee Time here because they overbook it everytime and you sit waiting for half hour on every hole.
Paid full price for 4 people 9 holes, around 4:30pm, I wanted to go 18 and use my groupon. The lady that booked our tee time said I couldn't book for 18 as there would not be enough time, she then said we could play till it got dark anyways. We finished 9 holes by 6 and it was still a little light out, so we continued on. 5 holes later we were approached by 2 workers and we explained the situation and what we were told by the person who booked us. They wanted us to come and pay for an additional 9 or get escorted off, no freaking way, Twin Willows half an hour from dark and unplayable! Acting like we were stealing and marching us off. I would have used my groupon that was cheaper than the 9 hole price. Plenty of courses in this city to spend my money on than with the likes of these turkeys. Good job, you lost 4 customers because you have terrible communication between your workers! After having spent probably thousands here over the last few years in rounds and drinks.
Very accommodating staff, solid golf course for amateurs like us. Green fees are a bit high.
Great course greens were fast
Links style course. The price is reasonable, and the course isn't overly difficult. Holes are a little close together and one of the greens is split into two, which makes it a little awkward. The clubhouse staff was attentive, but lacked professionalism.
Good golf course, fun with a challenge.
Enjoyed the evening view. Its really beautiful golf course. A bit expensive
Great course. In great shape.
Worst service ever we call beforehand to see if they will rent us clubs and a cart during covid we get there they say no and he answers the phone when we are standing right in front of the counter terrible place won't ever go back
Beautiful golf course, front nine is more developed
Very impressed. Course is in nice shape. A little pricey but overall good experience.
Overpriced green fees and food. Golf carts are stinky and slow, and there are no ball washers or sand pails on carts. They're also missing spots to clean your clubs.
Great golf course. Well maintained. Now my round on the other hand. Let's not talk about it ever again
I’ve been to this golf course quite a few times and enjoy it. It’s inexpensive, the greens are not amazing but they do the trick, and it’s not too too difficult. It’s not the fanciest golf course but I always tend to come back here a lot.
Always have trouble with the lady named rose. She should just retire already, I'm about the customer service and this lady is as bad as it gets. I'll come back whens shes gone, nothing but bad things to say about her.
Been coming to Twin Willows for the past 4 seasons and play about 5-6 times roughly per season at this course. Conditions are always playable, greens could use a bit of work. Staff here is typically accommodating but it can create some weird situations (groupings of 6, slow play, starting a group in front of you on hole 10) Not a challenging course by any means, would consider it good for beginners.
Well kept fun to play..will play again...and again
Took forever to check in and they didn't have any hotdogs afterwards but the course itself was really nice and in great shape
Little dated but always a great time
A very good golf course!!
Course is pretty nice, staff was not
Not very welcoming or accommodating on the phone today to an out of town 1st timer to try course for 1st time and not much help with reservation! Wanted to try and book just 8 days prior as there in Edmonton for work with very limited time to spare and really felt a lack of care so am booking elsewhere. Aug 6/21.
Best place in town , good people and great cource to play
A bit more pricier but the course is well maintained. An easy course to walk.
Quite nice, we were able to get on the other morning without having a tee time booked. Staff was friendly and grounds were actively being maintained
Customer service was fantastic. Thank you Ed!
Course is in great shape for the end of may. Greens are in mid season condition. Will definitely be back.
Great golf course. Friendly staff
Great time and good people
