A great venue to hold a professional event. I was there for a morning networking and education event. The food was very good. It was great that a microphone system was made available. If there is ever an event at the Derrick, I would definitely go.

Very nice private club with many available programs and athletic related activities for kids and adults, restaurant with outside patio and lounge style bar. I have not personally golfed, but from what I have seen, the gold course is well maintained. The club membership cost is expectedly more than a rec center, but you do get much more out of it. I absolutely recommend it.

Very nice and well kept private club. Many athletic programs for adults and kids. Gym and massage. You will love the outside patio and lounge bar with the restaurent. Great facility for a small family event or a wedding. The course is very well maintained and is in great shape. Very nice and friendly staff. Ample parking space but quite busy on the weekends. Worth spending dollars.

The worst place you ever think of to go. They always ask you to pay the expensive price and always close most of the facilities ( FOR MAINTAINENCE !!!) They asked members to pay extra fees for construction projects which are not usable for most of the year!. They instruct you ; Don't use too much soap on taking shower otherwise they will charge you.! They always ask for your membership # so they can charge you double, silently for any drinks or service!! The new management team is horrible.... Needs only your membership fees, money & gives you no good service at all. Any other facility in Edmonton is way better than this.

Been here numerous times for dinner meetings and the staff has been excellent! Food is always good and lots of staff to make sure played food service moves quickly and efficiently. Ive had a few technical issues with a laptop or projector from time to time and the staff is so quick to help problem solve and get things up and running for me. Some of the better service I’ve had at venues like this. Thank you!

The course is in excellent condition from tee box to green and the pace of play is outstanding. If you're lucky enough to have the opportunity to play a round of golf here take it - you won't be sorry.

I have recently had a venue here at the club. It was my first visit, and have nothing but good things to say about the place. It offers lots of different amenities like the pool, badminton courts, therapy, play area for kids and so forth. One could easily spend the whole day with the family there. There also is a food court where they serve a decent menu of food. When the old man winter comes again this year, it might be a good place to hide away.

Food is overpriced and of poor quality. Example: Pastas. For the same price you can eat at corso32 and get pasta 100x better. Don't eat here.

I was at the Derrick for a professional event over lunch. The room was very nice and lunch service was quite tasty, however when the staff were cleaning up (while our meeting was still underway) they seemed quite disorganized and were causing a lot of commotion while one of our presenters was speaking.

I only go here for curling, because that's where my league is played, but the ice is absolutely terrible. Throwing from one side of an end to the other could be slower or faster, depending which side you start from. Rocks randomly slow down, or don't slow down at all. The bumps the ice needs are either few and far between, or just coalescing. Don't curl here.

The staff are rude, you can give feedback and it is basically ignored and brushed off. No one is in hurry to be kind or helpful. Made promises for events that don't come true, excepted more from a place that is supposed to be upper class. Wont be back, I will take my business elsewhere.

Went to a birthday party at this place about 13 years ago. Water was dirty and the birthday boy was completely out of control. He kept on suplexing little kids into the water. Asked the lifeguard to step in, but he was more focused on watching the old people in the hot tub with that glazed look over his eyes like he just saw something he shouldn't have. Pizza was from pizza hut though, so that was the only good thing about the whole experience. Hope things have changed over the last decade.

Always enjoy visiting the Derrick for a game of golf. Tennis courts under construction making parking lot a bit messy. Service was friendly and prompt in the restaurant. Nice atmosphere and good food.

My family and I had my fathers celebration of life as per his final wishes. over 400 people the staff made sure we were taken care of and the guests all had somewhere to park. Made the pain of the occasional almost bearable.

Very well kept and mature place. The course is fantastic, the staff are friendly and the food is to die for. It has multiple places for everyone to go for any occasion. The only problem is the kids there are too crazy for a country club. This is supposed to be a semi formal place but then these kids run around screaming and being disrespectful

The meeting rooms are classy places to hold business functions and family events. No need to be a member to book a room. Service and food on par with a nice hotel, but this location feels much better.

Cannot say enough about The Derrick Club. This is one of the best decisions we've made as a family! The facility is wonderful and the staff attentive and caring. The members also are friendly and always acknowledging one another. We partake in many of the events and constantly use all the wonderful amenities offered. Our children love the programs and we've quickly made the Derrick Club a part of our routine, and see it being a part of our family for many years to come!
