They have done the best with what got. Great discounts still love the course and practice facilties
Nice course good shape
I recommend RedTail Landing Golf Club for any of your occasions . Fabulous service . Marvelous golf course. Spectacular .
Course was in amazing shape after all the rain. Friendly staff.
The course is in magnificent shape this year. Greens are immaculate. Sadly we only saw the beverage cart one time, on the ninth, the entire round. It was hard, and we were waiting at every hole, and it really would have been nice to have …
It’s a good golf course
Lots of winter kill hopefully they can recover
Great course, challenging to play and plenty of amenities.
Waste of space like all golfing activities.
Great place for an early morning swing
Fab golf course. Its having a few rennovations at the moment (Aug 2018) due to ice damage on the course but they discount the price of a round for it. Service was excellent at all stages. If you're doing a round, you have unlimited range …
Just did a bucket of ball and some putting between showers! Very friendly staff.
Great Golf curse, more challenging that expected
Close to were I live. Busy course, long course not the best for beginner. Prices quite high.
Wedding reception bi went to here was enjoyable
Great course, amazing proshop, top 5 golf courses in Alberta.
Ok
Went out last night for a 9-hole round, loved it! A cool course that's fairly forgiving as long as you don't have a big slice/hook...
Love this corse alway in great shape and has a great practice area
Great experience
The course is in excellent shape and staff were courteous and welcoming.
The best practice area in the city. Seriously, a budding tiger woods or a champions tour hopeful, this full service facility will having you fine tuning your game from big dog to flatstick. Not to mention the course; it’s a beauty and a great test. Go, go play.
Played Redtail for the 4th time this year. Greens are in rough shape due to aeration, but better to do it early in the season than late! I have the CCT card and rate, but even with that discount, this course is over 70 dollars with a cart …
Course is in amazing condition this year.
It looks great from this side of the road!
Beautiful coarse, challenging
Good
Just went to the club house for a snack and beer. The beer wasn't good, canoe something or other. The nachos were BAD. Most of the cheese was burnt to the platter and the chips were on top, plain. It's like it was dropped and put in the oven. Server was nice but needs some practice.
Green conditions are better this year, but the fairway is little rough, oveall are enjoyable
Great staff & excellent practice facility greens and fairways a bit rough this year but still a good track.
Great course, a little pricey
Greens are rolling nicely for August 8, 2021!
Loved it but no washrooms and no trees. Not good for an old guy like me.
RedTail Landing was great. Had a stopover at the airport. Called set up with a good 2 some and off we went. Played in 415hrs. This early in the season course is in really good shape. Much better greens than last year. 85 gets you a 18 hole cart and 10 dollar voucher for bar.
Great place to pinch a loaf
Sure glad I got a discount pass to play here, course is in rough shape almost every hole has ground under repair. Here's to hopping in July it will be in better condition
Max in the clubhouse is the best! Give that man a raise!
Redtail is one of the best courses in or close to edmonton, and now that its part of the cct its a good deal too. …
Had a very cute mini golf
Course is in great condition this season
This use to be the nicest public golf course in the Edmonton region. Unfortunately, the course has not survived the unusually warm winter well. The fairways and greens still need to fill in and at the price they charge to play the course - …
Lovely course
Thoroughly enjoyed a very early season round at Redtail. Started with a great breakfast in the dining room. Check in at the pro shop was quick and easy. The practice facility is fantastic and I will arrive earlier next time to spend more …
Amazing, had a wedding there and it was a wonderful time. Never golfing d there but the coarse looked beautiful
Great course, even at the start of the season. Worth the short drive.
The staff is very friendly and professional... not to mention the golf course is always in great condition.
If you're not a great golfer, this course is brutally challenging. A wind-swept course with water hazards everywhere, this is where golf balls and score cards go to die. A plus is the GPS tracking and screens on every cart. But it's a small comfort that scarcely makes up for all the other bad stuff.
Extraordinary weather conditions during the drive to airport from Edmonton city
Played 2 rounds there in back to back weekends and wasn't able to complete either round due to extremely slow play. No marshals on coarse to keep flow going. No beer cart either. Tried to talk to the management to express my concerns and …
If you like links style courses you may like this one. It may take 3 rounds to score well as there several tee shots that you won't be sure what or where to hit. If it's windy you'll be in trouble! Greens were bumpy as hell and med speed at best. Bunkers didn't have much sand. Prime is $110.00 and I played twilight for $77 cart and range incl. All in all the price brings this place from a 7 to a 5 out of 10. Yours Truly, Avid Golfer
Course is in really bad shape. At least they charged spring rates BUT....
A little bit of Scotland by YEG. The greens and fairways were in great shape. Staff are wonderful, especially Sarah in the clubhouse for a meal after.
Course is good however its virtually unplayable with the overwhelming marijuana smell wafting over the course and the highway traffic noise.
Golf cart was dirty and tee time was too tight between other teams
Great practice facilities.
Amazing course! The staff in the pro shop are spectacular. Melissa was very accomadating and gave me tips on where to hit so I didnt lose all the balls I brought. Will be returning for sure!
Great golf course. Nice range. Great clubhouse and amenities. Excellent restaurant in the clubhouse.
Driving range was worth it. Can’t wait to have a match
A links style golf course, fun to play but quite difficult, will definitely play it again.
Nice place for a work function.
Overall a great challenging round of 18 holes. They are located near the Edmonton International Airport so it makes it convenient to get a round of golf in before or after your flight. Also they have a great kitchen. Only downside was their greens were in rough shape.
Beautiful & challenging golf course
I've been playing here almost weekly for years and the service has always been great. The restaurant and proshop staff are as good as you'll find, but depending on the hole, the conditions are below average to incredibly average this year. …
Excellent breakfast!
Good practice facility for the 2 stars, but terrible course. When I called, I asked if the condition of the course was decent. They said it was in great condition compared to last year. I could only get through nine holes being so disappointed and quitting. It was just as bad as last year.
Nice course, lots of water, reeds and sand. Bring a few extra balls unless your an experienced golfer.
Really loud, between a main highway and airport. Not the best golf course in my opinion.
Reading all these, people are golf snobs. In reality of course there will be some winter kill. Such as golf living in Alberta. If you enjoy a link style golf course with moderate challenge this is the course for you. The front 9 is a blast …
First time out at Red tail Landing. The service was awesome and the golf was fantastic. Try it out!
One of the popular places to go golfing in edmonton
Great course and nice staff
Staff are amazing! Course is fantastic!! Great place!!!
The course is in great shape, the staff are very helpful and friendly, and it’s a great all around place to play! The cost is pretty high but you get what you pay for
Nice to see this course in great shape! Located minutes from Edmonton south or Leduc County. Whether your a high handicaper or scratch golfer there's a tee for everyone. Friendly staff and world class practice facility and range. Great job Redtail Landing!
Great course in good shape
A tough course. Very good customer service.
Golf is good pace of play is horrible Marshall's are great but 7 min tee times hamper golf experience
Very nice golf course, Good prices, great staff and volunteers
Great place to go golfing. Real fun and very well setup to host a corporate golf event with hole sponsors. They maintain all aspects of this facility in really good conditions. I felt that some of the staff was perhaps not really wanting …
Because zero is not an option. Course great.... Terrible customer care. 6 hours .... 4 groups waiting to tee off and pro shop tells me the two groups that were joking around on the 18th green paid the same money as us....never gonna see my money again ????
A wonderful links style challenge, great staff from tournament play to reg round of golf
Links style lots of bunkers
It is wonderful.
Parking prices. Are significantly higher than expected
I hadn't played RedTail in about 4 years and while some things about the golf experience had since changed, my round yesterday afternoon (Sept. 8) was exceptional. From the greeter at the bag drop, the driving range (best in the city bar …
The best course in the Edmonton area.
course in great shape
Food was excellent. It was a buffet service. Staff were excellent. Coffee and any other of your needs well looked after.
July 9th and the fairways haven't recovered from the winter, the greens aren't much better. You can rightly expect much more for what it costs to play a round here.
Great range and terrific staff.
Excellent course, amazing driving range/practice facility and above all that, very chipper and happy staff that make you feel welcomed to be there.
Great course
Nice course. Was having some water drainage issues the day I golfed there but overall good experience.
Fantastic Facility...awesome range, staff, clubhouse, and golf course. Well worth a visit.
Love the environment and friendly people there,,
RedTail Landing Golf Club is a great location to hold a golf tournament, wedding etc etc. I'm posting this in the dead of winter. This photo was taken during the 2nd 2nd Annual Joey Moss and Friends Golf Classic. Wih proceeds going towards …
Course is in great shape. Nice track.
The course is in great shape. To bad the weather didn't cooperate.
Green fees can't be justified by the condition of the course. Poor value for money. This is actually one of my favorite courses and a wonderful layout with great practice facilities, HOWEVER, you simply cannot charge premium green fees for …
It is an interesting and challenging course but they charge almost $100. It's not made by Jack Nicklaus, hasn't hosted any prestigious tournaments, so given the price it better be in immaculate shape. Nope. Greens and fairways have plenty …
Great service, exceptional staff, & fun course. Good value
First class place. Right from the greeter at the front gate, clubhouse attendant and driving range attendant. Course was in great shape!
Delicious cart chicks
Not open yet
Beautiful course in the summer. Wonderful venue for our Company party. Large and open and nice decor.
What a great experience at RedTail! Great staff, course was in great shape, cart girl Madison was super helpful as well, nice work!
Great experience
May 5 2021 -- Stay away! Heavily punched greens with almost zero top dressing and slow play made for an unenjoyable round of golf. No prior warning at all. This was a waste of time and money. I booked it and talked friends into playing there. I owe them a round of real golf.
Fairways still in rough shape from a bad winter. Greens and tee boxes are good. Got a deal so worth it. They always treat you well and it is a good design. They just need to get the course back in shape. They are trying hard!
Great room for large catered gatherings. Meetings and even weddings. GOLF TOO
the course is in really bad shape this year, from fairways to greens. really not worth the money they charge for. The even take away the bottle water in the cart. Nice layout course and once was a very nice course but ground maintenance hasn't been up to par for the past few years.
Very friendly, nice to see during this challenging time
Need more signage
Nice Links course! Decently priced and has a nice driving rain. The course was in great shape when we played it!
Fairways are in very poor condition. Greens are better. Service was excellent as always. Hopefully the course conditions will improve in the next few weeks.
The course is rough shape.
Golfing was fine. Greens were okay BUT fairways with all rain upto last week, how be so brown and hard... Not impressed
Great staff and the practice facility is awesome!
Very good golf course not very busy.
The grounds are in poor condition, perhaps it is due to all the rain we had in June. That said I was disappointed with the red tee boxes, they are poorly marked and placed. The least you they could do would be to find level ground.
Course is getting better
Great Course, fun track, great practice facility.
Fun course
Right beside airport
Nice
Fantastic conditions. Friendly staff.
Very good food
Great!
Great golf course in excellent shape. The staff is very friendly and inviting. Redtail Landing is definitely a must play!
Wonderful course, well maintained. Friendly staff.
Really cute staff.
Cart paths need some TLC as they are filled with water forcing drivers to veer onto the grass
Never been
Very disappointing today , the fairways and greens are in very bad shape. It needs lots of attention and repairs . Not how I remember it from playing it a few years ago !!! No starter either .
Terrible greens& fairways. Not in great shape
The course itself is a nice track. Greens are slick and run true. Staff are awesome. Only negative is the food at the clubhouse. Have had better food when I was in jail. All four of us were totally unimpressed. Go there for the golf and somewhere else afterwards to dine.
Good course, great experience overall from the staff. For the most part, the course is in great shape, however, the greens are in pretty bad shape - a number of them have bare sandy patches and some have been almost entirely re-sodded (as …
This place is great. Course is in great shape this year. Staff is friendly. Kitchen and food is great. Can’t recommend Red Tail enough. Keep up the great work!
Course is in amazing shape!
Awesome golf course. Quite challenging as the wind always blows hard through the area.
Course is in best shape in years! Greens are mint but could be a little faster! All fairways are growing in nicely from previous year of being dead. Definitely recommend.
Great club for golfing. Been there once for a wedding reception.
Was told to speed up play, no one behind us, group infront was slow.
The golf course is in really good shape. Loved it
Did not tell you that it was cart path only until you checked in and then chase you around the course telling you that your play is slow. Last time we go there
Best Links course around. They have a great practice facility and really great staff. Always have a Starter and Marshall.
How do you charge full price when the fairways are all sanded and punched in the middle of June?! Terrible shape
Golfed today, May 23/21. Course is in great shape! That said, we won’t be back. There was a wait on almost every tee box, one being 19 minutes. There was a group on the green, one on the fairway and two ahead of us at the tee box. They are sending people out every 5 minutes without keeping the flow moving.
Interesting layout and course. Not forgiven if off with shots
I love this course. It is my favorite in Edmonton. But this year (2018) the course did not winter well. They needed to re-sod many fairways and greens. They reduced the green fees but not enough. I will wait until next year to golf …
Good shape. Won't let u use ur 10$ cash back at snack shack. Disappointing
This is a challenging course. Although it is quite open, there is long fescue on the sides of the fairways, so missed drives result in drops quite often. …
Good well kept greens
Very nice golf course
In pretty bad shape, but in their defence, so are most other city courses right now. Also incredibly loud with all the construction and airplane traffic, not to mention all the dust and dirt from the heavy equipment. I wouldn't pay more than $50-$60 with a cart here this year, and I'm sure they're at full rate now at over $100.
Great staff and super accommodating considering everything they have to deal with these days. Will definitely be back.
Fantastic course. Practice facility is very well setup and course layout doesn't feel squished. Food and alcohol is fairly priced. Would recommend.
worst golf experience ever. went for a round of golf on my birthday to find out they booked our t-time during mens league. The ladies working at the clubhouse and the mean old bitty at the T Box treated me & my girlfriend like absolute …
Play here once two weeks. Just had a bad experience from a staff who was repairing tee 15. My friend and I got distracted by this old man and had a second shot. He questioned why we had two shots and we play too slow. 18hole in 3hour and 45 minutes in this course is not slow for 4som.
RedTail Landing has some of the best staff and people in the golf industry. Their customer service is top notch their marshals and starters do a great job and are very welcoming in providing a private feel at a public course. I get that …
Nice place for a wedding
Love golfing here. Great course.
Second time i have booked a tee time and they have completely missed the date. I asked for Sunday August 2 and they booked me Saturday August 1. It is not very hard to get the date right, very disappointing to have to wait there for hours just to see if there is any times open...
Love coming back and playing this course. Staff are always top notch and course is in great shape
Good
Great course. Great practice facilities.
Very friendly staff and a great links style course. Beautiful at this time of year.
Nice course, in pretty good shape
Slowest pace in the Edmonton area. I've golfed there three times now and never seen the home stretch because I've been waiting during every hole. Not sure if it's the course layout, marshals, over-booking, or what but unless you have 3 hours to do 9-holes or 5-6 hours to do all 18, make this the last stop on your Country Tour.
Great practice facility and range
Played on May 2018... The practice facility is very nice and is second to none. But the reason for the low rating is because they dont have a walking rate and it is way over priced for the time of year. The greens and fairways have a lot of winter kill and they are charging $89.25. The gentleman that works the desk at Redtail was very unprofessional and said they have never had a walking rate unless it’s after 6pm (managers special). I think they need to understand no one wants to pay $89 until July when the course is in good shape. Hopefully they can take the $40-$50 off the standard rate and get a walking rate properly setup for this place. (I understand why you would want everyone to be riding because you think it would speed up play but I can play 18 quicker walking and I don’t like riding (personally))
The course (greens especially) has improved leaps and bounds from an "off-year" in 2014. This year, 2015, RedTail's rebounded back to the nicest public course in the Edmonton area, bar none. Perfect conditions, very friendly staff, good pace of play - nothing more you can ask for.
Course is pretty nice, but a lot of winter kill. They do have reduced rates to compensate.
Need signage at the course
Fantastic course that is in normally in great shape. Just avoid the really windy days!
Attended a Christmas function here, food was great and a wonderful venue for a gathering.
Not too bad, driving range ball isn't good
Very nice links type layout. The greens are in great shape.
Great Atmosphere, the staff are truly amazing from the Golf pro to the Chef(Dean) the course is great. the Facilities are great, and the food is amazing. I recommend you go there, I know I will be going back.
Granted didn't golf but went for an event. Nice space, well set and food was fabulous
Great course.
(Translated) I passed nearby without a stop (Original) Je suis passé tout près sans arrêté
Honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had during Covid golf. Course is in great shape, they have a really good practice facility and the staff at this course are some of the best. They are organized, the starters are amazing give you …
Course is in terrible condition. Dont waste your money here.
Great condition, fees are to high.
The course is in absolutely fantastic condition. The winter kill that happened last year has been completely resolved and you would be hard pressed to find a better course in the area for this time of year. Great food, great condition.
Great course but pricey, some of the staff are a bit snobby.
Fairways were a little rough in areas but we got $10.00 towards our meal after golf. The beef dip was really tasty and there was a good amount of fries.
Fairways in TERRIBLE condition. And they're still charging $90. Save your money and the frustration.
Since becoming a CCT course, Redtail has really gone down hill. No early season rate, no twilight rate, so paying over $100 for greens that are punched to be playing after 4:00pm is ridiculous. Used to be a great course that really cared for its partrons, and now it's just a cesspool of greed.
We went for the putting course and was not disappointed.
Great course. Great people. I really enjoyed my round.
Great service great food
3 stars at best. The good, the greeter, the pro shop staff, the course in general with the exception the quality of sand in some of the sand traps. The bad, cart path is in brutal condition. Carts are not equipped with gps, the flag sticks …
Really great staff and beautiful course!
Better under new management.
Golfing was awesome and customer service fantastic!
Greens are immaculate. Bunkers could use some sand. Probably my own fault for being in them. ???? Overall still one of the elite courses in Alberta.
Love it
Golf was great. Cost per round was reasonable. I've been there before and will return again.
It's okay...bit pricey for a links course...its nicely maintained but they charge $3 for a skinny course guide that doesn't provide enough info. Apart from that though, It highlights how great a deal is the CCT card.
If you enjoy the smell of pot, you'll enjoy the front 9. The drag races and traffic noise will keep you company on the back 9. At least that's how our Sunday round went. The greens are in good condition, but the fairways are in bad condition.
Great practice facilities, challenging course. You'll have a tough time if you can't hit fairways
