First range visit of the season. Due to Covid, they no longer offer public washrooms so bring an empty bladder or you'll have to drive to A&W down the road. Range was clean and well kept and staff were friendly and wore masks while serving us.

The place used to be a terrible curling rink. Laughing stock of the city, but it has really turned around! The ice is clean, reasonably quick, the store is ok and the bar is alright, but the curling is great.

It’s been a fun 4 years of curling at the Ottewell club. When I moved to Edmonton from Nova Scotia I hoped to find a club with the small town feel I was used to. So I really lucked out when I found this club and it’s dedicated members. From their Halloween party to the yearly bonspiel, the Ottewell knows how to have fun with curling! I will truly miss being a part of its community as I move back home. Thanks for the memories♥️

It is a nice venue for curling. Lots of room in the changing rooms, and lots of lockers as well. Staff are friendly, if a bit brisk. However, the ice can be quite poor and inconsistent. I play there every Wednesday, and even on the same sheet the ice can be very wonky week to week. It can run completely straight or curl over 12 feet, especially near the end sheets or the two sheets on either side of the middle divider- rocks fall to the boards. Beware of rocks following an inconsistent path. There is also a strange red coloring that gets picked up by shoes and brooms on the ice.

We were here for the NACA dog show. Venue is quite spacious, but the parking is very limited on site. Bring your own food, or eat off-site, their kitchen was only so-so.

Ball mat's uneven and screws coming out. Practicer should care about this. Mat's uneven therefore when I'm hitting the ball making a noise and it bother for exercise.

This is a well-organized club with a strong sense of community. The leagues are very well organized and the management and staff are extremely accommodating to members and strangers alike. This is what curling was meant to be.

This is by far the best curling club in the city and surrounding areas. When you can get 15 seconds hog to hog and consistent curl both ways, you know your at the right place. I have curled at many other clubs over the last 27 years and nothing compares to the Ottewell Curling Club. Hats off to Rick and his team!

I curled at the ottewell in 2017 (in 2 leagues, so i know what i am talking about), the ice was consistently dirty all year, even after attemps to let the ice crew know. The consession is rarely open, which was very disappointing. The organizers of the facility run the leagues in such a way to only benefit the organizers in everyway. Stay away from this place and do not listen to all the positive reviews as they are lying.

So are part of a group of wheelchair athletes taking part in the Greater Edmonton Shuffleboard. They utilize the curling club to run their program. Facility is definitely a bit cooler than doing doing out doors due to its construction. Wheelchair access to the playing surface. So if you are in a wheelchair and want to get active. Come on down on Thursday evening and join other wheelchair individuals!!!!

As I am cleaning my golf clubs to put them away after another season I thought I would write a review about my wonderful experience at Ottewell driving range. Not only is it convenient but a fellow named Jesus works there who helped improve my game after a 5 min lesson. I went to practise as I was having difficulty with my hybrids, he said let me see your swing, suggested a correction with my feet placement and I have never looked back. I can now confidently use not only my hybrids but my irons as well ! I can’t say enough about how much he helped my game. I highly recommend a visit Say hi to Jesus (this is his name the J is pronounced with an H) and see if he can help you out as well !! Thank you so much Jesus. sincerely Robyn
