Drive around what look like view during winter

Nice place for relax

Great course. Great meals

I had a great day golfing alone. Beautiful and challenging course. The service on the course is plentiful and friendly.

Had my wedding here. Food was excellent, staff was helpful, the price was more than agreeable, and they were really flexible about set-up and take-down of decorations.

Their prices are very high, I have golfed here a few times this year and courses conditions have not improved at all. They have actually gotten worse. Fairways and greens are a complete joke for their prices. Out of 18 holes 3 of the greens didn't have bald patches. I live close so they are my go to but I won't be back due to conditioning.

nice golf course

Course in good shape. Better than I remembered.

Great place!

Great local course! Very well maintained.

Was in fairly good shape, except for a few greens that were pretty bumpy. The golf shop staff as well as the starter were friendly

Great chipping and putting area

We were there for a company Xmas party. Great food. Most of the staff was good.

Good course

Great conditioned course, traps are a little hard but can’t fault them on that, nature. Good service!

Very good

There's a white ghost dog that took care of me the night I had to sleep outside! Sorry for being Homeless. Lol

My kids loved their experience at the driving range!

Fairways are in awful condition this year. They shouldn’t have the nerve to charge the absurd green fees. It was acceptable in April, but we’re almost at June now, and the conditions haven’t improved. Won’t be coming back.

They got a huge park for kids it's like 4 different types of parks in one big fields for sports and dog walking great for all family events and then golfing

The service was decent however both me and my girlfriend were sick the next two days with food poisoning (suspect: Spring Rolls).

Overall a good course. Well maintained.

Great driving range and beautiful course. Definitely my go to for a good game.

I only golfed one time...

Good golf course reasonable prices. Has come a long ways since I last visited

Great place for a quick game in the city!

Lovely if you like golf. Awful if you are more of a Morris Dancing person.

Beautiful golf course.

I was not there to golf but was at the kids park volunteering for earth day!!! It was fun. Lots of room for kids to play but due to covid restrictions, it was empty

Pushing to speed up. Asked to skip a hole to next. Marshall was trying to babysitting us as what we felt that way. They treated me that way because I am Deaf? I never had experienced this in different golfing courses.. What they did to us was wrong. If you sympathize Deaf people, do not treat them like that.

Good sandwiches

Nice

Good for weddings and good for funerals. The food was excellent for the wedding in 2005 and as well for the funeral in 2019. Will update when I Bar Mitzvah.

Cheap course

Beautiful area

Nice walking trails

Nice place

Playable course and fantastic value, this 18 hole gem provides golfers of all levels a good test of golf. I can't think of a more accessible track within the city

Great in town 18 hole course for a decent price. The greens are kept very nice. The fairways are neat and forgiving. The driving range is made of mats and there are lots of stalls. The putting green is diverse in slopes but only three holes to practice on. There is an odd chipping area on the side of a hill.

Visiting a friend and they said this course wasn't the best, but ok if you need to get out and play a round. I said let's go. The course is in fair to poor condition. I don't feel this is worth the money overall. They need to take better care of their property.

You pay slightly more than what you get but is always a fun course to play, Wide open so you really have to try hard to lose a ball. Bruce in the clubhouse is what gives this rating a 4 star - my best experience there was this past summer as I was a solo walk on (buddy bailed last minute) and trying to decide if I wanted to play solo . He talked me into it was able to squeak me on. Since I was solo I moved along quite fast and caught the group of two ahead of me. I was invited to join them and as luck would have it, one was an ex Oiler. Was able to finish the round with them and had a few patio beers. I play this course 5-6 times a year

Decent prices, decent course.

Driving range is good.

Nice track !

No idea. I dont golf

went to play 9 holes & my brother got stung by a wasp on the first hole & his leg was tingling & swelling up. we saw the marshall & asked if he could ask the cart girl to come bring ice but she never came the entire round. on the second hole the marshall told us that we were behind pace knowing that we just talked to him, but the people behind us were far away… he would sit & watch us play instead of getting the cart girl. very rude & would not recommend.

Facility is a bit old

Nice long prairie course. The fairways and greens are both in great shape. Wide forgiving fairways, but if you put it in the long rough don't even bother looking.

Best golf course in Millwoods!

Just finished playing over the long weekend, #2 green is a bit patchy. Otherwise the greens are slick, fast and hard! Trying to make easy putts to go down was a challenge, I'm going to rate the greens a 5. Fairways sustained some water damage from earlier in the year, going to give a 4. Overall was an enjoyable round and completed in 3:45. However, I did shake my head when I seen two groups of two on the course during primetime hours. Benefits I guess...

Best fairways in town as far as I'm concerned.

That is famous for golf in millwoods jackson heights lakewood meadows and south edmonton.mostly senior s go for game and fun

Nice golf course

We have had several yearly AGM at the Millwoods golf couse facitlities and every year it is always great.

Not too shabby.

Great place to experience for all ages

I was looking forward to this course, but sadly it was disappointing. The Marshall is there to make your day miserable and to make as much money as they can. The front desk wasn't able process a simple gift card, the fairways are in disrepair, and don't expect to ever see the beer cart person. There are much better courses that cost less and are much nicer.

Course was in great shape. Greens are lighting fast!!!

Good food

Marshall is awful, rushes you when the course is quiet. Course is overpriced and under kept. Avoid.

Great place for a quick game in the city. course is always decent.

A nice public golf course, with wide open fairways and large greens. Prices are reasonable and they have reasonable spacing between groups - great for pace of play.

The golf course is decent but I really keep coming back for the amazing food in the clubhouse. Unreal!

the clubhouse facility is excellent for docial gatherings. the golf course itself is excellent fir being a municipal public course.

Nice park

A little rough around the edges. Patches on the fairways, patches on the greens, and weeds in the bunkers. If a little more effort is put into course maintenance this course would be a lot better.

Good place.

Good place.

Nicely maintained below average difficulty course in a convenient location.

Worst experience ever! It's obvious they're trying to book as many tee times as possible. If you like being harassed and rushed, this is your place!

Nice park.

It’s ok

Its great place for enjoy greenery

Nice course. Good food in the cafe.

Greens were nice. Fairways were in great shape. Lovely looking course

I have been golfing my entire life and have never had a more poor experience in my life. Was being pressured and harassed the entire time to go faster while golfing with a teen. Not surprised to check reviews from 5 years ago and see the same awful complaints, sad to see they haven’t changed in 5 years. The bald guy in the pro shop is extremely unprofessional and unpleasant to deal with, I recommend an employee teaching on basic respect and manners. Do not go to this course.

Went to take my 3 year old son golfing this morning, after confirming the day prior that I can bring him with me and being told yes that it is ok. To get there this morning and they tell me that he is not allowed to golf, as he is going to slow down the pace of golf and that if he gets hurt they will be sued. Oh but come back on Saturday after 4pm and you guys can both golf. What a joke will never go back to this golf course and will be telling everyone I know personally and on social media.

Who knew you could turn a landfill into a golf course?

Great park!

One of the first courses open every year, reliable venue.

Marshals were rude, being rushed to play and asked to skip holes even though were playing faster than the time on the scorecard. Save your money and play somewhere else.

Average golf course. Nothing negative, but there are better courses around the city

Good course. Has all the amenities, range, big practice green, short game area and bunker, as well as a pretty decent restaurant.

Only used the driving range so far but it's a great place, quite and relaxing.

Great golf course for the money. Very fast greens. The only downside is the bunkers. Virtually no sand at all. A real disappointment compared to the rest of course.

Nice place

Nice and close home for me. This course is somewhat challenging, makes for a great course if you are just starting to learn how to golf. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the course and the staff were very friendly.

The first time I've been in golf course, it was a great place to play golf for the first time.

Excellent breakfast, beautiful day looking at the course from the restaurant. Excellent service from Sandra.

Great staff. Nice place to golf with friends. Sand traps are terrible. Dark brown thin layer of sand. Very inconsistent. Such a nice layout and they put no effort into the bunkers.

Great course

Course is in good shape. Just wish they had better junior rates and times. Only reason I don't golf there more. Otherwise ????

Good Place.

Nice city golf course

Grandkids like the ducks

Beautiful surroundings, and a HUGE outdoor rink!

I like to golf but wasn't here for golfing on that occasion definitely a spot to check out

Fairways are in great shape, the rough swallows balls nicely and the front nine greens are really good. We only played nine holes so I don't know what the back has for surprises.

Nice course center to learn and practice golf

Love the driving range. Yet to try the course.

Nice place for lunch as you overlook putting green and lake.

good well maintained with ample parking space

excellent as always!

Excellent. Different things to do other than golf. Large dog park. Always clean.

Visited the Dog park,, open area, some trees paths, people are responsible and friendly

Wide open and forgiving but we experienced a very windy day. Our balls kept being pushed by the wind on the green!!

Firm and fast greens with well manicured fairways. Fun track.

Great dog park and play park just outside for kids.

Actually was at jackie parker park geocaching. Very nice area regardless

Not a well maintained course this year (2020). The maintenance and restaurant staff were really nice though.

This course was in great shape this summer.

Too pricey

Beautiful location. Park and dog park near !

Decent course, fairways pretty wide and well maintained. If you decide to walk and only pay for the green fees, it's reasonably priced.

Greens are in fantastic shape..

Well maintained fast greens

Great place amazing atmosphere

Course is in great shape right now

Course is in great condition this year and prices are reasonable.

Excellent

Golf is for losers.

Course is always in fantastic condition year after year

Great shape! Good tee boxes and greens.

I have always had a good experience golfing here.

Very nice driving range, lots of space. There is a sand wedge practice area too. The putting practice is decent. Buckets were $9 at the time of the review

Track is in good condition. Course setup made it fun to play for all levels of golfers in our group. Pin placements on sloping greens challenges players to make approach shots that end up below the hole. Worth a look for your next golf adventure.

Nice place, open wide. Avoid when it is windy, gusts.

The fairways and greens are absolute perfection this year - best we have ever seen. (Beware, the greens are fast!). Beer cart was efficient with great selection. Green fees were quite high for walking 18 ($52.00) compared to many other courses, but the quality made up for it.

Not too expensive. Friendly staff and a nice course

Their golf lessons here really helped my game! The course is alright too, minus the few holes in the front 9 you play along Whitemud drive... but a decent course. The Driving range is usually busy as well, but that can't be helped. Overall a nice place, I had lessons with Bruce... very helpful. I would recommend.

Cheapest hotdog with pop in the whole world.

Great range..course and value

The environment just feels right ????

Love the place.

It was company's Christmas party

Course was in decent shape and reasonably challenging. Have played there previously and will play there again.

Good place to visit

Awesome

decent greens but felt rushed

I had lessons with Hall Thomlinson and he was very knowledgeable and has good techniques but his constant chattering gets in the way of the what he is teaching. I really enjoyed the lessons until my last lesson when he was late, I told him …

Best course in edmonton

Good place for first timers

Golf. Nothing better than golf. Easy access and great course.

Nice and specious hall

Good course to practice your driving without much penalty. Fairways are in rough shape...however, greens are incredibly consistent!

Great golfing experience

The course is in great shape.

Nice golf course but expensive especially weekends and long weekends.

Charged us 80$ each for a course that included terrible fairways, greens that were not green but yellow and freshly air raided....

Marshall is very rude and constantly harrases you during your round to "pick up the pace" when the group behind you is 3 holes back. Take your business elsewhere - it's a course in Millwoods, not Augusta. Unreal. Strongly recommend using City of Edmonton owned courses as their staff is trained on how to interact with the general public. Clearly, that's not a priority here.

Good, polite service, reasonable prices in an over-priced market.

Very nice place. Good for golf. And a nice place to have a wedding

Perfect

I had a lesson with Bruce and found it to be extremely helpful. Bruce is a great instructor, very knowledgeable, very professional and gives great examples on how to correct any swing issues that you have. I would and will be returning for more lessons.

Descent course for in town

Poor customer service.

Nice golf course. Greens in great shape

Fairways were very poor. Greens not much better.

The course has only been open less than a week. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition. Very impressive for any time of the year!

Good condition

Wonderful serene place with lots of picnic tables for families and a big playground for children. Great experience minus the discrimination against handicap martians. They should be able to park in the handicap stall as well.

Course is in great shape. Greens are fast. Price I right.

Great staff, very friendly. Course was in very nice shape! Very nice public course, will recommend it often!!!

The greens were fast and it was a beautiful day 24 degrees. and every hole we had a marshal telling us to go faster since there was a line behind us. I understand the frustration of keeping everything moving and have been that group stuck behind a slow group. however, we also had a group ahead of us that we waited for at every single tee off. so we really couldn't go faster without driving right through them. a very fun afternoon of golf absolutely ruined by these guys trying to rush us when there was no way to go faster. I feel sorry for anyone who cannot golf at tour levels since these guys must be merciless on them. not worth your money even if it is close to your house.

Course is in good condition

When in operation, this is my favourite golf course in the city. Easy play, cheap prices, close to home.

Very disappointed. Heads up to anyone wanting to bring an extra rider out with them for a nice day on the course. Be it your wife, girlfriend or anyone else. You will be required to pay there entire green fee to ride in the cart with you not just the $20 for the seat like there site states. In over 15 years of golf I have never payed a full green fee for someone who is not golfing and just riding in the cart with me. And was very shocked when I arrived at the course for my tee time to find this out. Very disappointing this course is high priced for a local course and with having to pay an entire green fee for someone who has never golfed a day in there life to ride along and enjoy a day out on the course it is absolutly way to expensive. Cant see me booking a tee time here again anytime soon that's forsure. So people be awear of this and if you wana take a extra rider most courses charge for the extra seat not a whole green fee so I would go elsewhere.

No senior rate. No junior rate. No twilight rate. Also no junior yearly rate. "Mom and Dad - can Tim and I have $208 to so we can golf at Mill Woods twice this week?" "Convenience - no other public courses around" --- that's the verbal reason from the staff for the locked in rates. Thousands of kids live within walking distance of this course. The course is usually not very busy so easy to get on. 2019 update - the greens this year are in good condition. Tried to book a 4some of seniors this afternoon after 4pm - $84 each. wow. That's $25to$40 more per person than almost every other public course for weekend twilight. With carts we can get Leduc for $40(playgolfab) Legends $46, Links & Lewis $69 ($10 food and range) Jagare$70 Quarry $60 (both playgolfab) The Ranch $64 FALL 2019 update - the greens and course have been generally excellent. 3 of us played 18 and went back to the nearby hole 10 for a few extra. Beautiful fall day, no other golfers in sight. One of the pro shop staff hopped on a cart and came racing over like we had personally affronted and stole from him. I'm surprised the police weren't called. Last year they would not give us rain checks after they blew the horn for lightning in the area and we had 5 holes to go. Mill Woods Golf - never give the customer a break. Ever. MAY 10, 2020 update - the greens wintered very well and are going to be great this year. They are doing well to make covid-19 golfing safe for all. Range, putting green, restaurant and pro shop not open yet. Snack shack is.

This is a decent local golf course. People that come here expecting Pebble Beach, should make a mental adjustment. You get what you pay for.

Excellent course ... but very expensive to play and would rather play at other more challenging courses for the same price.

Great course

Take your money elsewhere. Not worth being harassed by the Marshall your entire game.

Nice course for being inside the city. Played with another single and he was great company.

Course is in great shape Enjoyed the evening Thx

Rude staff. Marshall was pushy. Not a good experience for a newer golfer trying to learn.

Always enjoy game there. Very well kept and friendly staff.

Very solid course for beginners

Friendly staff and course is in good condition for so early in the season.

Large OFF Leash dog park with a beautifully landscaped outdoor skating rink! It's actually called Jackie Parker Park even though the Golf Course was there first.

Good

Great course

Ive been playing this course for about 7 years. Fast greens, great sand and kind Proshop employees. They always accommodate late tee times for after work rounds and are pretty reasonable priced. Good beer selection in the drink cart too.

Went with a couple of inexperienced golfers from the second hole onwards we were harrassed by the staff. They kept telling us to hurry up and let other people pass, but despite our best efforts to pick up pace. By the time we hit the 11th hole staff came up to us again and complained. We decided to leave, it was the worst experience I've had golfing and it was embarrassing as one of the members in my party was a first time golfer. For the price we paid I would expect more, very unprofessional.........

Greens still in rough shape but not too bad over all

Very clean

Good for hackers.

Highly recommend Hall Thomlinson for golf lessons! Very effective and easy-to-understand methodology!

This is an awesome golf course, a bit challenging, staff is all welcoming, great food as well

It's Millwood. It's usually in good shape and is consistent. You won't loose a lot of balls during the round it a pretty wide open course. Food is good in the restaurant and they have a good banquet hall. The driving range is Matt's not grass. And they have a great practice putting green.

Not bad not bad. Decent prices usually and not too busy.

Decent Golf club. Enjoy playing golf here.

Actually not the golf course but the dog park. My happy place. Grear dogs! Great dog owners!

Very fun coarse!

Good course. Better than you think.

Beautiful Greens & Fairways ????????

Good place to go and enjoy your time

(Translated) Jice (Original) Jice

Very great service

Great location and good times.

I was at the range a few days ago and was very surprised that there are no social distancing practices other than number of people on the putting green and in the clubhouse. Every single tee box was full and sometimes with multiple people sharing one tee box. Very disappointing.

Handy location and great service

I recently visited the driving range for my first attempt at golfing and I was amazed at the set up. that particular area was very well layed out and easy enough to maneuver.

95 dollars for cart and bucket of balls, way overpriced for the course and it's current dead, dry conditions. At least give a discounted rate until conditions improve

Beautiful day and grounds are lovely.

Fantastic cross-country skiing in the winter!

Nice course fair prices

Very decent public golf course and well maintained. Super fast greens and good views of the skyline from certain holes

Great golf course.

The course staff here are rude and unforgiving when it comes to time. Many golfers are rushed by the staff and constantly harassed. There are multiple reviews that warn you about this so if you want relaxed, no-rush golf, do not golf here. Both times I have come here, the staff have rushed me and reprimanded me for being late even though I arrived BEFORE my tee time. At 80 bucks for a round/cart, you're better off at the higher tier courses that give you time and space to enjoy the game.

Good driving range experience

Great place to golf

Spacious golf course surrounded by vast Dog Area and Jackie Park to relax and unwind.

Good range but expensive buckets for balls.

Staff is extremely rude.

Great course! Greens were in pretty good shape this year

Greens were fast and in great shape

Course is in great condition this year and prices are reasonable.

Overall course is in really good shape.

Ok course, couple of good risk/reward holes, can sit outside on second floor but view is parking lot, single fee,no senior's rate

Not too bad of a track...but thus scenario took the cake. We have a 5 some going out. Playing best ball 3 vs 2 to speed things up. Marshall comes out saying we are showing this Gst down and has to break us up. We have a group behind us and a group ahead of us on a Tee box. Regardless if you broke us up or not we'd be waiting. Yet a week ago we couldn't get a Marshall out when we were backed up behind 3 groups lol the professionalism is at a very low if you'd think that is the solution to speed things up. What a joke and very pathetic to think about. Needless to say, will be the last time I golf here!! Just because you have a comb over doesn't mean you know the game of golf haha

Amazing place to take the dog

Nice local course. Plan ahead however

Nice and comfortable place

I wanted to golf for the first time so my brother took me. We were going to share his clubs. They said no.Apparently if you dont go buy your own 600 dollar clubs you cant try golfing. They dont rent them either so dont try that. Wow has my opinion of golf gone down. Thanks guys.

Nice place for big group programs and meeting

Course is in horrible condition. Fairways are yellow and the greens are bald and patchy in spots. They should be offering a discounted rate based on the terrible condition. I will not play here again. There are much nicer courses around the city for the same price. $82 a round including cart. Way over priced!!

Always a great round here. Nice city course

I get that the course wants to keep pace-of-play, however, the staff enforced it so aggressively that it ruined my round. They are pushy and treat you disrespectfully if you are not a fast/experienced golfer. If they spent more time maintaining their course instead of pushing golfers to play faster, maybe it wouldn't be such a poor course. Don't golf here.

Nice practice area

The course is in amazing shape!!

good place

My first taste of gulf and loving it.

It's brilliant .

Wonderful place to spend time with family and for kids to play around

One of the best in Edmonton.

I enjoy coming to this park, it is great for families and kids. There is a dog park and also the golf course behind.

Amazing park little kids

Good greens and friendly staff

Wonderful park, great to bring the whole family.

We played on a Saturday and teed off at 1130. We were 5 1/2 hours to play 18 holes. The Marshall was as absolute imbecile and literally did nothing other than sit in his cart. We had 8 golfers and not a single one of us will be back for a weekend round.

Property is taken care of, not crowded at all, good place

Finally got some new turf for the driving range which is good to see. I found it a bit expensive for what you get. They never have twilight rates which is disappointing. Very mediocre course.

Amazing staff

Very spacious Golf Course designed for Golf enthusiasts players.

Dog park is clean and my baby loves it

Didn't golf there but nice place for a walk!!

It's really amazing and so well maintained

Conditions were good for this early in the year and the rates were reasonable! I'll be sure to come back and play many more times this year

Was my first time there it was okay

This course might be the most underrated in the city. Prove me wrong! I've played several times this summer and it's been in great shape each time. And very reasonably priced!! Highly recommend.

Driving range wasn't busy

Garbage. Grounds crew hounded us from the 6th hole on. They airraided the fairway directly in front of us and ruined our game. We asked for a refund and were basically told to make sex to our hats. DON'T GOLF HERE. Terrible.

Great place to host a venue. The food they make is awesome and tasty. Consider Mill Woods Golf Course for your next get together.

Breakfast food was great

Course is in excellent shape. Perfect fall day for a game of golf!

Nice course, good for beginners. Really nice par 4's here and they have a driving range to prep at beforehand. Can't remember if the balls were included with our round. But solid course.

I would not go back to this course this year... Stay away they are charging full rate and over half the course is dead the only reason the greens are green is they painted them sooooo disappointed and I built alot of the course back in the 80s.

Good

Great shape this year. Will definitely be playing this again before end of season.

Excellent greens and a very punctual beer cart lady! Makes for a great day of golf.

Very impressed with the food and the party.. Lovely evening!!

Good, friendly staff, fair prices in an over-inflated market, and reasonably accessible location. Played 9 holes with two very "green" juniors in just under 2 hours. Greens alone are worth the trip.

In decent shape, but $84 for a round with cart on a Friday is overpriced. If you want to do a city course then do Riverside.

Decent city course
