I had such an amazing customer service experience today with the store manager, Tom F. I bought my new club set and other goodies (balls, clothes, etc.) at this location solely because the store manager and all of their staff were very welcoming and friendly. Tom helped me with the clubs I bought and got me the best deal that I could have asked for. I live southside but I would definitely go back to this store for any of my other golf needs. Highly highly recommend this location to anyone who is looking for a friendly and professional customer experience.

Pete was very helpful. I purchased taylormade m2 irons off him a few months back. Last week I went in around 7pm and had a very poor experience with wanting to exchange an item that was past 60 days. I explained to the employee I’d like to use it as a credit towards a more expensive purchase. He had no interest in helping me. If just like to say that I went to the heartland location waited 25 mins for someone to help made it noticed and was ignored I'm hesitant to ever go back. I've spent countless money at golftown over the years and just felt beyond disrespected. That being said the Queensway location totally different met nice professional gent by the name of Al who was more than helpful and even helped with my swing and all very patient and very professional. It was time to make a change of equipment for 2016, the technology in golf was leaving me behind. I spent three sessions with Brendan one of the club fitters, this guy was just outstanding, he had that nice genuine desire to make sure I was going to put clubs perfectly fitted to my game in my bag. My choice was Callaway's XR woods and irons with the excellent Project X graphite shaft, beautiful clubs. Brendan put a special order into Callaway and my equipment will arrive shortly. The price completely blew me away, there was a promotion ( 20% off ) and I took full advantage of that. The total price beat any price I could find and beat it by a long shot. I couldn't be more pleased with my selection and the help that Brendan gave me, well done, that top notch customer service will always ensure return customers, thank you Golf Town.

Heartland GolfTown is the worst place if you need any services. The guy put my new ribbed grips on upside down till I mentioned to him that they are ribbed grips. I had been shopping there since they opened and took lesson there with Gary. Then the manager transferred to Oakville store and later closed. Now I shop for what I need and then drive to Dundas/403 store and buy it there. A lot friendly staffs and better service there.

My last review of Golf town was before they moved locations and was very poor. Service was non existent. However today in their newer location I received the best service. Was met kindly at the door and was asked what I was looking for. Wanted some new irons so Tom helped me out. Was super friendly. Very professional and had me outfitted with new irons, putter, glove and 30 balls in great time. I would definitely say service at the new location has improved 100%.

I really just want to call out the team here at Golf Town Heartland. The guys and girls here are the best. A couple weeks back I went in during a very busy Saturday morning and Gary and Dan were extremely helpful. They carved out tons of time to help me find a club to close my short game, Dan especially went into great lengths to explain the benefits of forged clubs vs other materials and just went the extra mile to help me, someone who only picked up the game last year, find options that give me confidence in my game. A few days later I came in and got to talking with Kyle. I was telling him that after the great success I had with my 60, I want to get a matching 56 to effectively replace my SW and I wanted to find an alternative option for my PW. Now. I'm a lefty in golf. It's a little harder for us to find what we want/need. But Kyle listened to my reasoning why (my PW has a weird loft 43.5 degrees and it's rather hard to hit) so he showed me a gorgeous, used, forged 48 from Cleveland and it was only 30 bucks. This was ideal since I was expecting to pay a similar price to the Wilson Forged Wedges I already bought/was looking at. From there we both noticed that they had a used Taylormade Spider X putter in that copper finish. I'm not kidding when I say, that was a putter I did A TON of homework on. The fact that it was left handed just sealed the deal. I knew a putter is going to be my most used club so I don't mind investing more into that club. But finding a Spider X, used, in the condition that it was, I had to get it before someone else did. This club was essentially 60% off a new retail version because this was previously owned. Also I sniped a gorgeous headcover for it on Amazon so everything worked out great there. Again. Kyle reassured that if this is something I'm serious in, this is too good to pass up. He assured me that I'm getting clubs of great quality that I can play and grow with over the years to come. So thanks for that Kyle! Lastly, I came in again this past Saturday when I realized there was a massive sale on the Taylormade M6 line of drivers. Now. I wasn't expecting to be shopping so much for new clubs/upgrading my basic clubs I had. I was online just browsing and saw the sale but then saw it wasn't available pretty much anywhere. I go into this Golf Town, again on a busy Saturday, and I see maybe 3 or 4 left handed M6 drivers still available. While I wanted to grab one then and there, Devo (or is it Divo?) noticed me and helped me out. He listened to how I swing, where on the face I hit the ball, what distance I'm getting since I've been going to a range that measures that when I'm not at course, and how much by ball curves left. After all that he strongly suggested a D-Type M6 with the 9 degree loft since I can adjust that to go higher and I can tweek it if necessary but the base settings seemed to be the way to go as per how I'm swinging. I asked him, since they had an F7 used for a great price, am I better off getting that or should I double down and get this? He took all the time in the world to break down the advantages of the M6. Naturally since it's a newer club with different tech. He said for a driver something with Twist Face can help. While some don't believe in it all that much, it is a technology that Taylormade is continuing to offer and now have it more clubs than just the driver. I told him I wanted to upgrade my Rescue/Hybrid while I was there. Asked if I should just get an M6 rescue but he broke down why an M4 rescue would still do the trick since in those difficult shots, twist face may not make that big of a difference. So he helped me save quite a bit of money there since the M4 hybrids were on clearance. So in the span of almost a month, I've effectively replaced/upgraded all my clubs except for my irons. But I replaced those clubs to pretty good results. Yeah I'm still duffing shots and topping shots here and there. But the confidence I have now when I line up with my ball is ridiculous. It really does feel like I can let the club do the work. Thank you, team!

2-stars because the selection at Golf Town in general is great. But I can't even say the customer service here was horrible, because I, the customer, didn't receive an ounce of service. Not even a "Hi", head nod, or awkward eye contact. I browsed the whole store and wasn't acknowledged by one of the (at least) 5 different staff members, including the unnocupied cashier I walked past to exit the store. I went into the store interested in several items, including having a club reshaft. I like to research and be informed before making purchases, which includes speaking to someone knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make an informed purchase. Maybe I don't fit the typical golfer profile. Regardless, it was an uncomfortable experience to walk through such a large, well staffed store, itching to make a purchase, but not offered help.

The problem ihave always had at golf town is 3 things: 1) the lack of anything for high swing speed players. 2) the prices are very high even when things are on sale. 3) the staff is never very helpful. Some of the clubs i see in golftown are available online for a fraction of the price. If im going to pay extra it will be for the full experience. By that i mean custom fitting, swing analysis, loft and lie adjustments, and being able to leave knowing the clubs im leaving with will work for me right away. However you dont get that at golftown so i cant justify paying those prices.

I like this location of the Golf Town store. They have a excellent selection of clubs, balls, and everything you could possibly need for golf. They are one of few golf stores in Canada as well. The best part of the Golf Town store is that they sometimes have great sales, and that the store has a golf simulator to help improve your club swing/stride.

Golf Town has a great selection of everything you need to feed your golf addiction, and you can usually find some good stuff on sale. They have their ownership problems sorted out now so I don't think it's risky to shop there. Only downside I find is their clothes are quite expensive.

Probably the worst golftown I’ve ever been to. Coming from Edmonton & Kelowna, the Langley one is pure awful. There were lots of staff around, none of them available to help. I had to walk around holding a shoe looking for someone, only to find them all hiding in the corner chatting and on their phones. Each staff member was incredibly young and obviously not very knowledable in golf. They were out of stock of the shoes I wanted and tried to sell me on a different shoe and was quite arrogant when I didn’t notice the “6/8” written in red pen on the price tag; this was clearly to indicate they only sizes they carried. The young kid was naive to the fact that I might actually have a lot of golf experience and was looking for a higher end shoe for a reason, he talked as if I may not have any golf experience. Besides that the store is messy, staff are incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful. The women’s section is extremely poor and they have only a small handful of horrible items. Moral is , buy online or go somewhere else. Langley golftown is one I’d happily never go to again.

I went to golf town on Remembrance Day and it was entirely empty. I walked in and spoke with 'Manager' Todd about the different lofts of wedges, and how i would like to tighten up the spaces between my existing setup (he was standing around, practicing his putting at the time) He was knowledgeable and i grabbed a few to try out.. Another sales associate taped them up for me, along with a 3 wood that I was considering as well. After about 15-20 minutes of trying all the clubs, i asked if i could go get my clubs to make a comparison (As the store was empty, along with three other hitting bays beside me). Shortly after I returned, the sales guy completely changed his tune, and told me I couldn't be there all day... this caught me off-guard so I asked him why he said this... He mentioned his boss was upset that i was a 'test-pilot' (when in actuality I was about to spend $500 on the aforementioned clubs). I went over to Todd's little office and confronted him, to which he defended his stance and told me if I wanted to hit balls all day i should rent a simulator... So, I walked out and I won't support that store in the future... Hopefully the lifetime value of an avid golfer was worth the middle-management power struggle, Todd. Oh, and if you're going to play big-boy on campus, at least have the balls to confront me in the store yourself! Hahaha.

Decent service. The last time I was in a golf store it was in the states, at the PGA store in Scottsdale, Arizona. The service at the PGA store was miles better. The service at Golf Town was still decent. It was disappointing that the machine didn't register the majority of shots. Got a good deal on a set of Taylormade M2 irons, but purchased them online because the store only had the floor demo day set left. They wouldn't provide any sort of discount, so I decided to purchase them online for a brand new set for the same price.

Our family has been an active customer since Covid. We introduced golf to our children by getting them each sets. I recently got a hip replacement and came in for a new set of first time clubs. The price tag was a bit steep for my liking for a first set of clubs, so I asked if I could get a discount for being a repeat customer. I always consider a repeat customer a good customer. With no hesitation at all the employee went and asked the manager and 15% off I was given. This saved me $135. The cash clerk recognized me when I came up to pay, as detailed as my recent purchase. They have had my club for repair for over a month, and I have called three times and come into the shop once to check on it and no one can give me an answer. If it’s not warranty, I said I still need it fixed regardless so let’s get it done.
