Some of the best greens I've played so far this year, though the tee boxes need some work. It's not the most challenging course, however it's low stress and I really enjoy playing it. Pace of play is great, my last 4 rounds were under 3.5 hours. A very friendly atmosphere from patrons and staff, we would highly recommend giving it a try.

If I were to rate the course only, I would give them a 3, however, when taking other factors into account, I gave them the 4. What are those factors: price and service. Great course for beginners but please if you are starting out, always remember golf etiquette and waive faster players through, that way you get to enjoy the game as does the more experienced player.

Pros: Good price, friendly staffs. Cons: The course can be rather wet if it rains heavily days before, but it is not to the operator's fault, did not really take the fun out of the game, we still enjoyed it. Difficulty: Simpson and Clark are intermediate.

Joined a tournament but they were very disorganized. They drainage on the fairway is bad and if it rains your feet get soaked. They aren’t the worst course because they do have 3 different 9’s you could do (total 27 holes) but the services is a little rude when they are questioned about tournament expectations and how they can handle it. Go somewhere else if you want good golf or are a beginner.

Greens are better than they have been in years and with that said, people please keep them that way and fix your divots. Golfed 9 on Simpson late Sunday. 2nd hole was under construction told to replay another hole which was fine but then sprinkler came on while on the 7th green. Called clubhouse and the staff were friendly and gave us a rain check. 2 holes missed but the experience was salvaged by a friendly caring staff.

Trash AF. The course was an absolute swamp, I'm surprised I wasn't in alligator territory. I have about 37 mosquito bites. My hot dog was cold and undercooked. Honestly, how do you mess up a hot dog. Seriously though, how? Staff was pretty friendly I guess. Also, there was no drink/snack cart, so we had to wait every 9 holes to get a cold beer/water on a hot day. Definitely not going to be coming back here. Even though I'm from Ontario so the likelihood of me coming back was pretty slim to none regardless of my experience. But my family that lives in Sturgeon County will NOT be coming back nor recommending it to their friends. Now I'm hot, hungry, thirsty, and bite ridden. Not a great day at the good ol' golf course.

Updated: 05-June-2020 Buck/Clark Courses The course is in the best condition I have ever seen it in. The tee boxes were good with minimal winter damage. The fairways were well maintained, lush, very little winter damage and only a few soggy spots. The greens were the best we have seen so far this season with only a few greens with winter damage, but even these ones were puttable. They were quick and well maintained. I recommend you get out and play here if you have not been there for a while. It is still a pretty easy course and hacker-friendly but the conditioning is superb this year.

Good course if you need to work on your drives and iron play, as it's open and quite forgiving. Always wet and soggy though. Over watered? You can usually find a deal online.

Are golfers who buy with voucher discriminated? It was a 27hole golf course, but only the Simpson holes were rounded twice and it was not written. Next time it was a disappointing golf that I would never want to go back or recommend to a friend.

27 hole course with forgiving fairways and respectively keep greens. Most greens are elevated especially hole 2 on the buck nine. Never played the simpson nine however Buck and Clark nines are a nice balance of straight and dog leg holes. The few holes that had water it was cleared shortly from the tee box no wet surprises waiting for you mid hole. Cart paths can get a little mucky following wet days but what course doesnt have that problem? Relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. As with any course in our province dont forget your "Alberta cologne" to combat those pesky mosquitoes. Driving range and practice putting green are available as is the online tee time booking which was a breeze but not as mobile friendly as others I have used. Junior rates were a plus for bring my kids along. Give them a try.

I Like the Course, have played it quite a few times. However, management / staff were quite disorganized. They over booked, shut down 9 holes to cut greens, and herded everyone from the 9 they closed to the same tee box. It was poorly planned and booked which caused a massive clog and back up in scheduled tee times. Not the first time this happened. Worst part, I emailed the manager who couldn’t be courteous enough to reply.

I am surprised at the poor reviews. We played Buck/Clark June 4 and the greens were in outstanding condition. We are quite picky when it comes to greens. Far better than expected. The rest of the course a little rough around the edges. Used winter rules in the fairways.

This course was a lot of fun, but I wouldn't recommend going during peak times. We were a two-some that spent more time waiting to play, than actually playing. There are some five hundred yard holes and there would be a group on the green, a group on the fairway, and two teams waiting to drive. It would be nice if the marshal's were a little more aggressive with maintaining speed of play. We never saw a refreshments cart the entire time, so that was a little disappointing. I like the mix of holes and course design, I'll just only go back when it's not busy. The green fees are a great value for the course.

The course was great but the customer service was even better. Thought I had lost my wallet while golfing here, and the lady working in the golf shop allowed me to get on a cart the following day to take a look around the course to see if I could find it. Didn’t end up finding it but that was a really nice gesture.

The Simpson 9 is a joke they shouldn't be letting people play that 9. Water and mud on the fairways loosen balls on the fairways çuz of the mud. Not cool especially when you pay money to play. Willn't be goin back there again?

Going to be honest. This course is a cow pasture. Can't believe the reviews no question they must work there or something. This course is in horrible shape. The last review said greens are great. LOL they are in horrible shape half of them are under repair you would hit the green and have to move your ball so you could actually put to the hole. No idea what course this guy played on the last review. WAY OVERPRICED do not waste your money when you have Legends down the road. Couldn't believe the prices 42 for 9 holes and 56 for 18. Plus if you want a cart add 18 per person. Do yourself a favor don't waste your money this course will a sour taste on the game of golf. If you told me it was half the price we payed I could probably accept it but man WAY OVERPRICED and in horrible shape. What I can tell you is this is an honest review. Never again would I waste my money or time on this course. Horrendous is all I can say. I won't lie I may of been spoiled last year playing Legends which is virtually the same price but there is no comparison. Again just wanted to see a honest review up here.

Course conditions were good. Fairways and greens in good shape. Tee boxes were fair to good. 10:10 tee time on a Monday morning and naively thought we (twosome) would be done early. VERY slow play. 2.5 hr front 9, no Marshall to monitor slow play. Didn't see the refreshment cart until the 16th hole. Other than that, staff are friendly. Would consider going back given the conditions, but don't want to be stuck playing a 5 hr round.

A 27 hole course just outside ft Sask!! Set up into 3 separate 9 hole sections. Started with 18 but had enough time to go back into the club house to get on the other 9. Great course fair price for awesome views and a well maintained course. Good mix of water, sand, hills, some tiny greens and some huge ones in the safety net of many wide fairways makes for a rollercoaster of a day.. I'll be going back for sure.

Our group had played on Saturday. There was a crazy storm which caused an hour delay. So, we had some breakfast in the clubhouse. The staff was amazing! Big shout out to Gord the GM, had a great visit with him. Very cheerful and took care of us. For the amount of rain that fell, I was blown away by how fast their drainage system worked. Considering they just aerated their greens, they were rolling very quick and true, this caused me serious grief! LOL Cut quality was crazy good! Being an equipment manager at another club in the area causes me to pay a lot of attention to these things. My wife and our two friends absolutely loved it! Great time and experience! Will be back soon.

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is cause the course was ok. They charged me full price to take my 10 year old and I told them this was her first time and that she only wanted to hit the ball a few times! What a rip off. And the carts had profanity written all over them and she had to see it all. Very unprofessional. Wont be going back

Played a 3hr5min lightning fast round of 18. On the 3rd hole, we let a speedy twosome pass. For every remaining hole, we were closely being pushed by a disrespectful threesome such as yelling at us and hitting into us. Inconsiderate golfers are expected from time to time; especially a course like Fort in View, but its completely unacceptable for a course to schedule 3 tee times within 10 minutes. Likely won't return because of this.

Loved it. Presented varied challenges from long blind holes to great par 3s.. this course had them all. Greens were receptive and soft enabling aggressive approach shots. I WILL DEFINITELY go back again for another 27holes .

The fairways are in excellent condition, and the greens are smooth and flat with virtually no winter kill. The only concern is that the groups are too closely spaced which causes a backup at some holes. Otherwise a great course to play, and we will definitely play there again soon.

Start from the staff they are all very nice and the course is very well maintained. As a senior with play more save more membership that is very true. My group are playing 2 times a week and to have a 50% discount on green fee and a cart you can absolutely save more.

I took my hubby there yesterday for Father's Day as we went last year and had no complaints. For Dad, Mom, Daughter, 1 club rentals and cart we paid $79.00 last year. This year we paid $128.40 for 2 of us (wasn't our weekend to have our daughter) to golf 9 holes, rent 1 set of clubs, and a power cart. Once we were there already I paid it (rather than hold the line up when it was busy) and called the next day (today) to discuss the price. They really didn't care. So I googled rates on other courses such as Legends (not that far away and a much nicer course than Fort In View in the opinion of myself and a few co-workers). Here is the comparison: Fort In View (27 Hole Course in rural area surrounded by flat farm land) $42 (weekends and holidays per person) $24 (Power Cart Rental for 2) $15 (Club Rental) Total plus tax: $129.15 Legends (27 Hole Course with views of North Saskatchewan River) $37 (Weekends per person) $24 (Power Cart Rental for 2) $9 (Club Rentals) Total plus tax: $112.35 That is waaaaay to pricey for a golf course under construction. We golfed the Simpson and there was huge dirt piles everywhere and a back hoe and bob cats. They certainly should not be charging more than Legends. I called Mykala today and while she was polite and business like they clearly felt their prices were in line with what they are offering their golfers. My co-workers were shocked at that price as they normally do Fort In View on evenings (4 of them live in the area and the 5th one buys a Groupon pass to golf there). They only offer a Groupon right now for 18 holes, not 9 so I wasn't able to take advantage of that as an option either. Under ANY circumstances, Fort In View is not superior to Legends (Ask anyone who has golfed both courses) and I feel very ripped off. We paid way too much for golfing 9 holes around huge dirt piles and heavy equipment. That being said, the staff was polite and welcoming while we were there, the Marshall was really nice and I like that they had pots of flowers everywhere as it looked pretty around the Club House. We chose to come back because of the good experience last year. This year's experience will ensure we don't go back (will go to Legends for less money of course) and while I can say some things were good, the amount of money we spent did not justify and I will not be able to recommend Fort In View to others based strictly on price. As a side note, they do have 2 for 1 days and a loyalty card that saves you money but if you are not going there at least a few times a year then there is no point to us getting it.

Nice flat, forgiving course that still has some length from the back tees. Price is cheap, and pace of play was excellent (just over 3 hours) when I went there. Surprisingly, groups actually let faster groups play through. However, the drainage is poor and some of the fairways were swamps. Pre tee-time was kind of chaotic as there was nobody announcing the next group or telling us which nine to play (there are 27 holes there).
