We went golfing yesterday at Colonial Golf club! The girl we talked to at the recipient was nice and so the gentleman at the entrance. After we finished the first 9 Hs , we decide to stop by the restaurant to use washroom, have drink and eat something before we head to finish the rest of the Hs ... the girl at the restaurant welcome us very COLD AND SHE WAS VERY RUDE.

Simply an amazing time everytime. Course is top notch with the most humble and down to earth friendly staff. Food is on par (pun intended) that hits the spot and feeds the hungry belly after playing. Recommend this place without a doubt.

The Good: Golfed there for the first time Early July 2020. Great course, fun layout and well maintained. A good mix of target golf and "let er rip" golf. Staff were nice and following safe Covid Protocols. Really happy and I will be back to play more often. The Bad: Only real knock was the greens were just sanded and hard as a rock, but every single golf course has to do this so I'm guessing the next time I visit it will be just fine. Walked to the clubhouse for lunch one day and breakfast the next. Both meals were simple, good and fresh. Service was warm, friendly and attentive. The clubhouse could use an update, but its clean. The patio is the best part - kids are welcome and the view is lovely. If you haven't stopped in for a meal in a while, I'd recommend it as a nice change from the old standards of Beaumont.

A beautifully maintained golf course meandering thru the bedroom community of Beaumont. 18 challenging holes with a great practice facility and a full service clubhouse with lounge. Green fees include power carts. Never super busy.

Not sure how this place has any bad reviews great staff, great food wonderful cart ladies who are personable especially the blonde. Golf course is tough from the black tees but who doesn't want it tough, I once walked in the pro shop while a customer seem to be unhappy about something and sounded like he wanted to switch his passes to be 9 holes or something because he had them for 18 and the manager politely said she would do it while this guy seem to be yelling, she handled the situation very professionally and showed great customer service going above and beyond, I would totally get a membership there as 1450 for a dusk works with my schedule and 4000 for a full anytime membership great bang for your buck

Second time golfing at Coloniale this year. Excellent greens and well manicured course. I appreciate that the grounds crews pay attention when you are making shots by cutting the noise off in their equipment until you are done. Great sand too! Little higher green fee is worth it on this course.

Got a deal through Fairway to Heaven (K-97); played 9 hole, rained out. Got $25 voucher since we only paid $50. Tried to re-book using $25 voucher, we were need to pay another $55.80 for another 9 holes. Terrible club house service starting from the bald guy at pro shop. $55.80 for 9 holes, over $110 for 18 holes. Most expensive course in Edmonton and surrounding. Lightning and thunder strike again on second times around last 2 holes. This course is curse.

I struggle with this as I really like the course and the fact that staff are always amazing. Food is excellent as well. The round of golf verses the cost is the only reason I don't give it a higher rating.

Course is suffering from significant winter kill on greens and its mid June. May not recover this year. Tee boxes are showing maintenance neglect. Need to up their game as their premium pricing is not reflected in the quality of the course.

Whether it's the "in general" rude staff, or the 6$ Domestic beers from the beer cart.... this course is clearly not managed properly. When attempting to provide some polite, constructive criticism or trying to provide some additional ideas moving forward, I was talked down to like any idea that i provided wasn't worth their time. They've priced themselves like they're a first class golf course, yet they still have gas carts, and no GPS on any of them. WAY too many other options within a 10 min drive to spend your $$ elsewhere. I hope this course gets new management in the future or takes a different approach, as it is a nice layout and is usually in great shape.

I recently helped to plan my brother's wedding at the Coloniale, and it was absolutely amazing. 100% of the credit goes to their wedding-coordinator Jessica. She consistently worked to find a way to help the couple achieve their dream wedding, she was so accommodating (even with really last-minute changes) and she was an absolute joy to work with. The venue was beautiful, the food tasted great, and there was plenty of variety. We could not have had a better experience, thank you so much Jessica and your wonderful team!!

A nice semi private local local golf course. I went here recently to just hit the practice facility, which has a full driving range as well as a couple sand traps and a chipping green. I have not actually played this course in years, but I drove around the community and it looked to be in great condition. From what I can remember, it is not an overly forgiving course. The fairways can be narrow with some water holes and plenty of sand traps. Definitely not a course for any begginers or people who have not played In a long time. It is situated in the the community it is named after or go e versa, with many houses lining the fairways. Less than a ten minute drive from miwoods and half an hour from the southwest but I would say worth the drive depending where you are. Overall, definitely worth checking out.
