Hidden gem! Food is amazing, service was hospitable and ambience was perfect. Definitely didn't expect this for a golf course. Highly recommend trying them out if you want a great night out.

Prices jumped quite significantly since last year. If I'm going to pay $85+ for a round, there are lots of other courses I'd play before this one. Found lots of value when it was around $50-$55 a round in previous years.

Jody

Great food and servers at Cattail. Lots of space this place is huge. Vaccine passport required for inside dining which I was happy

Sandy Nixon

The staff are amazing. Country feeling in the big city. I love golfing here and hope to do so for another couple months ♡

I bought some tickets(Nov 14th) from this venue for the Don Burnstick concert series (Nov.26th) through Eventbrite for my birthday celebration. I requested a refund a few days(Nov.18th) after I bought the tickets due to weather complications. When they only responded to my initial request to move seating arrangements, I heard nothing back afterwards. I have since put in several other “Refund Request” forms through Eventbrite and only finally got a response after making my google review(responded within hours). With the idea in mind that “They would happily give me a refund” as stated in their google review response, They insisted my reason was invalid and offered me discounted tickets for the next show they have going on. I have not been contacted by anyone and I’ve sent several emails requesting a refund. If getting a refund was this difficult for a show My guests and I didn’t attend, I wouldn’t have of bought the tickets to begin with. I wish I was getting better customer service rather than the run around. I’m upset that this is how I’m treated. They do not give refunds so do not use their services. Simple as that. I will be seeking legal advice at this point.

Had seen signs for this place pop up recently and decided to check it out. Had dinner this evening on their patio. Had the burger, a beer, and the butterscotch scotch dessert. Megan took great care of us. Food, service, and decor 10/10. The burger is ridiculous. Had it with truffle parmesan fries. So much food. Better than Earls and the like. Not at all what we expected. If you're thinking about it, just go.

This is an incredible place to host a tournament and the management are all great people overall. So glad our business came across this course as we are always hosting company events. Also big shout out to Chantell who is an absolute pleasure to deal with!

New management is finally taking care of this golf course. I played at Hunter's Green before and would honestly say it was the worst golf course in Edmonton region. The greens are looking much better, the club house got a new look, the restaurant has a massive new patio, but the fairways are still under construction/upgrade. This course came a long way and has great potential. Customer service was great!

Carpet Guru

Went for a comedy night....food menu was lacking and sound was horrible... Waste of money.

Quinn Capello

Very nice course but seems to always be under construction. Greens always play super hard and there are many water traps. Clubhouse food is better than I thought it would be and was very fast

Michal Gorczyca

Awesome course with very friendly staff. Great layout and even better value. Definitely will and can't wait to play here again.

Amanda Cardinal

We just found this hidden gem! It was great! Quick service at the restaurant and beautiful views from the outdoor patio! We showed up right before the end of happy hour, so we ordered off that menu. The chicken sliders were delicious and we also enjoyed the poutine and fried pickles. I also seen signage that you can bring your furry friends on Monday and Tuesday, hopefully next time we drive through we can do that! We

Now called Cattail Crossing. What an improvement. New tee boxes, greens are real nice and fairways challenging new golf carts with gps and even fm radio for tunes. I really enjoyed this round. And the restaurant. Fantastic i highly recommend. We have added Cattail Crossing to our list of courses to play. What a fantastic job the new owners have done!!!

Had Dinner there last night on the Patio. So nice! Clubhouse and Patio are top notch. Wood burning fire on beside us overlooking the course. Food was amazing. …

Jerad

Great course, amazing clubhouse, and top notch food. Everything I've tried on the menu is fantastic.

Sue Snyder

So much better than it was last few years. The new owners have done a great job! Everything from the souped up golf carts to the glow in the dark fun nights make it a wonderful place to play. Good job!!!

Roger Savoie

Great food and drinks. Good service and a great day of golf.

The owners are putting in lots of work with tons of construction and workers on the course. The price is just too high for what it is right now. $75 for a round is too much for a weekday round with cart. Surrounding courses are much cheaper and better shape. Including CCT. They did seem to have a introductory rate but that was gone before April was over. I can see in a few years when the work is complete, it being worth the price, but it just isn't now. GPS carts are also way too finely tuned. You get a sniff of the edge of the hole and its locking you down and forcing you to reverse out.

Jeff Austin

Course is in decent shape for early season. Price is quite steep for what it is right now, especially with work being done on the majority of holes. Plenty of surrounding courses can be played for cheaper with the loyalty cards. They did have an introductory rate that was around for less than a month. Maybe bring that back until the course is closer to being finished/in better shape.

Jessica Gagné

Great sleigh ride along the lake. Also had an enormous firepit and plenty of wood provided.

Matt Walker

A great course, even early in the season it was in better shape than expected. Come check this place out in the evening. Watching a sunset on the prairies never gets old, but when you're playing a round during these twilight hours, you are experiencing something special.

Mark Steiger

The new owners are pouring money into what usedbto be Hunter's Green. They have really friendly staff, the restaurant and multiple patios look great and the course will be great as soon as we get some heat and rain

Sean Duffy

Great place to golf with the family. I’ve played there over the years and the renos are really coming together. Even with this heat they are keeping up with the greens. Management are a great bunch of people. Very accommodating and …

CONCRETE BROTHERS

Awesome time, the course and the place just keeps getting better since new management took on , every time I have been back its just nicer which I appreciate, staff is friendly and being able to stay and enjoy and actual decent meal and not just hot dogs with friends and clients gives this course my 5 stars, keep it up

Andy Brown

The course itself is good but the customer service is poor The car girl passed us on the third hole didn’t even stop to tell us that they weren’t coming out again then when we got to the Caddyshack we were told that we couldn’t buy anything to drink as in water because they close at 6 o’clock when their sign shows that they close at 9 o’clock we asked if we could buy the water at the front desk I’m sorry that’s not up to us on top of that the manager was not even there so we had nobody to tell are complaints to So me and my brother on his birthday couldn’t even celebrate with a bottle of water shows how well their customer service is

Kyle McArthur

Very disappointed in this course. Heard great things were happening here including Youth on Course. We told several friends to purchase so our kids could at least golf in this pandemic! Cattail decided to take it away because it’s being …

Shelby Seib

Outside looks a bit underwhelming for a country club. Inside is great! Brunch was good. Prices are reasonable.

SilverLady Construction

recently we had a tournament at this course, one of our player had a hole in one. The club house was notified and the head pro said he was going to get a photo but does not have a camera. We had members that had hole in one in other golf courses, they took pictures and gave them gifts etc. But i guess this was a black guy and didn't matter much to the head pro .don't know if we are going to have tournaments or casual golf again

Ridley Smith

All I have to say is I was very impressed. Not the old Hunter Greens at all. The leadership and owners need to be commended. The customer service I receive here is some of the best around. The waitresses in the restaurant are great food is amazing. The proshop staff are some of the best around. The Head Pro was starting as there was a frost delay and did an amazing job getting people out in order and as fast as they could. They are really doing a great job here cant wait for the Winter Activities. Still golfing here on Nov 3rd and they are open all weekend:)

Ryan McIntyre

Very impressed with the renovation and revitalization going on there. The clubhouse looks awesome and the course is in much better shape than it has been in previous years.

Janice

The course is coming along nicely under the new ownership - disappointed that they clear cut all the natural trees on the back nine. Careful if you book an afternoon time - today we had 3 pm tee time and planned on ordering from the Caddy Shack at the turn for our dinner and this service was advertised in the carts but when we called (instead of using the cart to order) they said “sorry we are closing”. It’s kinda ridiculous to advertise the menu (it popped up 3 or 4 times ) and then say, sorry we close at 5???? Also it seems like the course was way over booked as it usually takes us less then 4 hours to golf this course but at 2 hours in we had only got through 7 holes as no one is marshalling the course. A bit disappointing!

Jason Wiwad

Wow played 18 holes the other day and was impressed with the work that is being done out there. It shows the new culture the new owners are trying to build. Don’t get me wrong it will take some time but the greens are in good shape no winter kill and roll really well. I stopped and had lunch in the restaurant and I was blown away. It was well priced and some of the best food in the city. I had the braised ribs and the crispy pork belly. This course and restaurant is a must visit.

Chely GRZ

Amazing day with friends playing golf at this gorgeous golf course, it has brand ne state of the art golf carts & the staff is super friendly and helpful... if you haven't, you should come check it out before the season is over! and what a better way to end the evening than having delicious food drinks at the Out of Bounds Restaurant. Totally recommend it and we will be back for sure!

Joe Peptone

Wow.. All I can say is this is not Hunters Green anymore... The staff might be some of the best around. Brandy in the proshop was amazing and so professional and friendly and then I met Jason the Head Pro and had a great conversation about memberships for next season and many of the changes the new ownership has undertaken and it is very noticable. The carts are new with gps and you can pair your phone and listen to music. The course was in great shape even in October and you can see they are doing work to greens, tee boxes and fixing many of the issues that plagued Hunters Green. Jason encouraged us to try the restaurant said it was one of the best in the city and OMG might be my new favorite restaurant. Had the braised short ribs and Meatballs wow high end and to boot if you bring in your golf receipt you get 10% off your bill. So great to see this course making great changes. And they have a Trackman Sim coming as well. Great job Cattail love the changes.

Lorette Bowers

The food at this place is great! Was here for lunch in June with a friend and did a golf & dine with another couple in August. The golf course is OK considering the dry summer we have had & the course was good enough for me since I am a very beginner golfer

Matthew Bellerive

Major improvements in this course since the new owners took over. First nine were almost unplayable before but now they have them nicely groomed and in good condition overall. Major negative here was NO MARSHALL. Pace of play can be completely inconsistent and very frustrating.

Gwen Wambold

The new owners have put so much work into this course, both inside and out. The course, it’s self, is in much better shape than other courses I have been to this year with the lack of rain. The staff were very friendly. All and all a great round of golf.

Ken Ashworth

i enjoy the staff very polite and scotty was awesome. course was in great shape...my only complaint is for the cost i would expect more time between tee times very rushed and the food and drinks are expensive .. and 40 bucks for a cart .. not a lot of decore flowers and plants would make it much more inviting

Adam Buschkiel

Thank you again to the entire team at Cattail Crossing for kicking off our season with a twist. On extremely short notice during prime weekend patio time golfing not only did they find some of the best real estate to get together safely and by the rules, one of out Captains walked out of there with a pretty sweet added bonus just for showing up. Thanks again for truly outstanding service and hospitality. Couldn’t recommend any size or arrangement of people anywhere more than I would to Cattail Crossing.

Jax McCaughlin

Quite expensive for what you are receiving... especially when multiple fairways are not usable due to the condition of the grass and new sod. $40 for a cart and having to pay for range balls brings you over a $100 a round and this course is definitely not that quality. Will give them credit though, the course will eventually be of better quality in a couple of years
