New "COVID" golfer here... I've now played about 25 rounds of 9 & 18 at Golf Dorval this season. Course is in good shape if a bit dry in places. Front 9 is flat and very wide/forgiving with lots of sun and breeze. Back 9 is a bit more narrow, buggy with less breeze and more shade. Hole #6 is surprisingly tricky. Hole #8 is fun to drive. My only complaint is the turf area on the practice range is often crowded but other then that its good golf are a great price. Pace of play can be a bit slow at times but marshals patrol regularly.

Nice golf course. Family friendly. Mini putt also available and is very busy. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Not sure about the restaurant but there seems to smoking allowed on the terrace which drove us away. In general, we like Golf Dorval.

Great public course with quick greens, ample water to cause grief, some woods to steal your balls unless you bribe the squirrels, and plenty of bankers. It is fairly short and 4 to 4.5 hours will get you 28 holes.

Super nice mini course....everything is new and well made....it's a compact course but only because it was designed so well, most of the holes are actually challenging to hit par and you've easily got an hour of entertainment with a family of four, more if you take your time. Around the course too you'll find attractive installations such as a great big waterfall that ends in a crystal clear pond. One tiny beef: there were some garbage cans near the ticket & ice cream booths and they were releasing a pungent aroma across two or three of the westernmost holes. Would go again!

We often take the kids to the mini putt but this time we went to the driving range. It’s a very nice driving range. We had a lot of fun and then had ice cream and the ice cream hut after.

Overall not a good experience. From the grumpy old men who work the starter box to the angry marshalls. The marshall advised us not to use the blue tees because "you are not good enough golfers". We all shot under 85 that day btw. Prices are not competitive enough to return.

I only went to the driving range at golf Dorval. I had not been there in maybe three years and I can say that I was not overly impressed. It is however a municipal golf facility and so that has to be kept into consideration. The driving bays have mats that are in dire need of repair and replacement. I did hit iron shots off a very small area that had real grass however it was very muddy and without too much grass on it. The driving range is quite a distance from the parking lot and requires a long walk which I did not mind and they do have a shuttle that can bring you to the driving range for those who are so inclined

Very good for the price. The course has been recently renovated and looks great. The only real downside is depending on the wind direction the planes from the nearby airport can get annoying. It has a decent pro shop and bar with a nice patio overlooking the 18th. Ample parking.

This is the price to pay for being so close to Montreal. Last departure 6 p.m. or 6.30 p.m. depending on the season. (Original) Beau terrain et bonne infrastructures. Marshall et personne ttravaillant au pro shop était sympathique. Prix compétitifs en fin de soirée sinon dans la moyenne. Paniers de balles assez cher vu le nombre de balles pour le practice. Beau 18 trous. Point négatif on entend les camions et la construction à proximité. C'est le prix à payer pour être si proche de Montréal. Dernier départ 18h ou 18h30 selon la saison.

My group are single digit h'cap regulars at Dorval and, constructively, we think that the addition of the two new holes was, at the least, premature. These holes are not mature enough for play as the fairways are well below par and the greens are not receptive to hold long approaches. Also, these holes are tougher than average (especially # 3 and play gets backed up because they are too difficult. Yesterday, for example, there were 4 groups on the 6th hole. Lastly, the front nine has now lost its flow and as a walking group we seem to be all over the map...and, these holes have mucked up our GPS tracking devices. In summary, the decision to go with these two new holes by Dorval management has lessened our enjoyment of your facility.

Very nice course, but expensive. Lots of sand and water, the course is very well maintained. There is a lot of walking between holes if you're on foot. Everything is extra though, theres no water tap to fill a bottle, you need to purchase everything.

They need some staff who can work well with customers. A smile will go a long way for a golf club that’s been on the down since the late 90s. Unfortunate how such a promising local and public golf course has struggled to create a positive buzz. Treat your clients well and you may stay open a year or two longer.

Great location and easy to get to. Big changes since the last time I played here more than 20 years ago. The course is in relatively good shape, but the issue I have always had is the lack of etiquette from other players not repairing their divots on the fairways or fixing ball damages on the greens or raking out the sandtraps. A little can go a long way to making this an even nicer place to play. Not an overly challenging course but it's not a cakewalk either. Good place to work on your game

great course, staff at the resto and proshop are great, but dont expect anything more from the starter than being treated like a second class citizen. Over the dozens of plays, the starters have given me nothing but issues. Super prejudice and discriminatory against young adult golfers. Told me that on HIS course HE makes the rules, and so I can play or leave. All that because I wanted to play at my tee time, and not with the pair ahead of me. Was told he doesn't allow pairs. The group that ended up behind me, and behind them, were both pairs. This is one example. THE STARTER IS A POS.

Was at Bistro 19 for a banquet yesterday, though the food was great, one would expect after paying a fixed amount for a tiny soup, proportionate meal and dessert that a coffee would be include. However that was not the case. I had to pay extra when I ordered one and was told after when the bill was given that its an extra fee. The servers were phenomenal but honestly, is it really breaking the bank to offer a coffee with dessert. My rating will stand until someone contacts me to advise.

The golf course is well located and decently priced. I mainly go there for the driving range, which is inexpensive compared to other driving ranges in vicinity. There's also ranges on grass and putting green. Staffs are friendly. A bar restaurant is located in the clubhouse.

Pace of play is horrible. Just played the 14th hole and there were 4 groups on the hole. Marshalls seem to be non-existent. Complete joke. Won't play here again.
