As you can read, it has an average rating is quite high, and it's founded on a high number of reviews, so we can conclude that the assessment is very credible. If people have bothered to leave their review when they are pleased, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to place evaluations when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Golf is included in the category of Country club.
Great course and excellent experience overall????!! Will definitely be returning????
A challenging course.
i had my wedding reception at this venue. everyone will tell you this...but the buffet was ahmazing!!! it is also the best value compared to anywhere else close by. everyone will think you spent really more than you did. the staff was very accommodating and nice. i really enjoyed having my reception here.
Great food, excellent service at this Golf country club. I recently attended a wedding banquet and had a good time. A little far for me to come out; however, it was a very festive occasion to make it worthwhile.
(Translated) The bottom of the course is very good, that is, the management is too bad, and the score of 4.6 is disappointing. (Original) 球场底子很好,就是管理太差了,辜负了4.6的评分。
Poshy country club in a poshy part of town. If drinking there, their servers are wonderfully generous with the wine. A++ would get tipsy there at a political event again.
Great location for weddings. Food is amazing. Look at the photos
Amazing view. Good food. Roast prime rib on weekends and great happy hour specials.
A beautiful golf course with a stunning view of Mount Baker.
Great place to share with friends and family
Really an incredible spot!
Beautiful golf course, with some challenging holes. Very scenic and you’ll likely see some deer during your round of golf! Love the restaurant patio afterwards too, food is fantastic, especially the beef stroganoff.
Good course Nice view !!!
Scenic.. well kept . Updated .. .. great guys on the greens ..clubhouse staff slightly rude
They've done some upgrades since I first started playing here. Some improvements are still needed to earn 5 stars though.
Beautiful Club House. Great food. Friendly Staff.
big fan of the food, albeit the menu has decreased in size.
Member's Christmas Party was amazing. Jen and her team planed a fabulous event Santa came for a visit. Chef out did hi self the food has outstanding. Looking forward to next years Members Christmas. Thanks to all the staff
Good service and good food
We recently held our wedding at Westwood Plateau Golf and Country Club and everything went great! Special Events Manager, Danielle was dedicated to our event from day one with continuous follow-up and coordination. The Gallery Room downstairs is a beautiful space and doesn't even require much decor as it features lovely wood beams and a grand fireplace. The day-of coordination staff were very attentive to all of our needs and worked really well with our other vendors. We offered a lunch buffet menu and it was delicious food. The outdoor garden ceremony space has a lush and green vibe and was a great spot to tie the knot! Overall, it was a wonderful experience getting married at this venue and we would highly recommend WWP!
Wedding banquet here is top notch!
I've had their food at their restaurant during the summer, it was great! Food tastes good (my personal favourite was the beef strogonaff) and their servers were nice and very friendly.
I got married here. It was my dream come true.
I played here for the first time two weeks ago. I had high expectations based on the (generally positive) reviews I had read, however I came away disappointed. The only real positives I can comment on are the scenery and views afforded by several of the holes and the friendliness of the staff. If you are looking for a scenic round, then this course will meet your needs, however if you are a golfer, you will be pretty disappointed for a number of reasons: 1. There are bunkers on nearly every hole. The quality of these bunkers are some of the worst I have ever seen. They are inconsistent hole to hole, and generally were filled with gravel complete with rocks and stones the diameter of nickels. I was also unfortunate enough to hit a bunker shot directly into a six inch spike that was just beneath the surface resulting in damage to my sand wedge. I have no issue with bunkers on every hole - I like a challenge, however if they are there they need to be maintained and they need to be consistent. 2. Many of the holes are gimmicky. There are two par 5's that are ridiculously easy to reach in two (driver, 8 iron). There are also a number of two and three club elevation changes. 3. I would characterize the overall condition of the course to be poor/fair - a lot of soggy areas and inconsistent grass in the fairways which were full of weeds. Greens on some holes were missing grass in areas. 4. The pro shop is a joke - they carry two brands of balls and have, basically, no pro shop - it's a couple racks of clothes and a rack of balls. 5. The driving range is offsite - not particularly convenient. Overall I would not play here if I were are any kind of golfer. This is the kind of course that would be good for hackers who are looking to drink some beer and kick the ball around the course.
Just put together a tournament recently and had an amazing time. Everything went smoothly, from the practice green, clubhouse staff, overall course shape, and restaurant staff. We all had a great experience and would love to come back next year! Staff was very professional and courteous. The course Marshalls in between the 10 and 12th holes was a bit rude and lied to us about it being backed up behind us. There was nobody behind our last group for over 15 minutes.
Played Sept 15. Weekend rate is 105$ with tax. 80% of the greens were in average condition as were some teed. Interesting holes though and some good ones but it's not a championship style course as a lot are 300-380 par fours and very tight. Ok but not worth the money in this condition.
Update June 2021: had to drop one star due to lack if driving range. Normally this isn't a factor on my reviews, but with no range near by, and bizzare hours of the partnered driving range, this takes away from my day of golf. Good challenging course, good fast greens. Food and drink on the patio with a view is a good way to finish the day. Edit: complete forgot to mention, the fries are amazing.
Beautiful setting with great service
Great wedding venue
What great food and wicked food.
Yes, the food at the restaurant is really good, but the place itself is remarkable peaceful and serene. The view is green and calm. Its worth the drive up for sure.
Liked
Whisky Wiseman 5th annual charity golf tournament for canuck place. The folks there know how to run a tournament. Fun time. Can't wait for next year
I feel unsafe parking beside this golf course. There are way too many careless players in there that literally smash their golf balls to see who goes farthest. But the balls end up in the neighborhood beside this golf course and it would leave dents and damages to the cars, windows and sometimes even people. There should be a rule at that part of the golf course you are not allowed to smash your golf balls into the sky. Or there should at lease be a net there. This place is nice but there are way too many careless players. The owners of this place probably doesn't even care about this review or the careless players. But then again this review is to let people know that this place; if you park around it, there is a risk that your car will get smashed, and this golf course wont cover any costs at all
Been a few times for different events. Food is always good, staff is friendly, and venue is beautiful. Great spot to relax and enjoy yourself
Attended wedding here. Nice reception area for buffet but the outdoor lawn can be noisy for the ceremony as it is right beside a road and a parking lot.
If I hadn't lost so many balls in the trees of 9-13 I would have given this course 5 stars.
Taco pizza is delicious
Tees up
The Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club is a beautiful place for a wedding. It has everything you need, breathtaking views, and offers a lot of value. We had a small, intimate wedding there over the May Long Weekend, and it all went well on the day; however, planning with their wedding coordinator, Marlee, beforehand was not very enjoyable. Their staff works part-time, so they are not always available. They led us astray on guest counts during Covid-19 and weren't planning on letting us know we could only have 10 guests until the last minute. It wasn't until the day of the wedding that they stepped up their game. Two staff members on the day of our wedding and rehearsal are what changed it all - Madre and Janet. They made me feel so at ease, reduced my stress, and ensured everything was perfect. Because of them, I felt a lot better about the whole situation. All in all, it was a great experience, and we are glad we chose The Westwood Plateau.
Fantastic course ....challenging pins and greens are firm ,play short and expect some roll . Cant wait to return
(Translated) Well maintained stadium. It's not difficult. (Original) 维护不错的球场。难度不大。
I was a guest at a wedding that took place here in June. Breath-taking views from the terrace, plus the food was fantastic!
My friend got married here, and it was gorgeous. The staff were incredible and on point.
Fun course! Friendly golfers and amazing staff.
Beautiful wedding venue! Bonus, saw a black bear walking the golf course :)
Love it! Great place, friendly people and lovely atmosphere! On the gate they say "everyone is welcome" and they mean it!
One of the most beautiful golf course. Great venue for wedding reception.
A very decent golf course. Staff are so professional and friendly.
Not the hugest fan of the course. I prefer to walk and when carts are mandatory, you know it's either bad spacing or serious up and downs in elevation...or in this case, both.
I live across the street from one of the stretches of green of the Westwood plateau Golf Course. This morning my car windshield was smashed in to the point of it being deemed unsafe to drive by ICBC, and i am now having to pay hundreds out of pocket to get it replaced. Two hours ago, my neighbour's front window was hit by a golfball and her car's side mirror was smashed in 4 days ago. 3 weeks ago my mother was hit in the chest by a golfball while walking our dog on the sidewalk and had to go to the emergency room. After that incident my mother called the golf course to inform them of the situation, and we were told that the carts have a GPS system that wouldve helped identify who was in that area at that time so that we would not have to involve the course itself, as it would have been the individual golfers responsibility. And yet, even with this information, we were not followed up with for any further help. I fully understand living near a golf course is bound to lead to some stray balls finding their way over, but these last few weeks especially have been outrageous and we've lived here for 15 years. We called the customer service line and were told that there is essentially nothing that can be done as they would need to identify the golfers and have them admit to their actions, which anybody can tell is a very small chance. There is no form of protection between the course and the houses on this portion of the road, no net or anything of the sort. We were informed by the staff at the course that the carts have an electronic screen that will bring up a message warning golfers of the houses to the left, but clearly that is not effective enough. I am very frustrated with this situation and wish there felt like more of an effort was being made to keep the residents of this area and their property safe, or that at least somebody could be held accountable for the costly and painful damages made. I feel the need to also mention that golfers are allowed on the course under the influence of alcohol. Alcoholic beverages are sold from the snack cart and from a personal relation to someone who used to drive the cart, it is no secret that there are plenty of unmonitored drunk golfers roaming about. Very disappointed to have to leave this sort of review, but from the numerous times we have tried to contact management we have been left without any follow ups, any sort of sympathy or any sort of help from the staff for these numerous situations Edit; my windshield was damaged on Monday, July 22nd some time before 11:30am. We called the general course number twice that day. I appreciate the response in regards to our other concerns, though we do strongly believe the neighborhood would benefit from a safety net being put in place to keep everyone's peace of mind.
What a perfect place!
Good place for Christmas party. Nice views.
This course was the nicest course i’ve ever played in my life so far. There was amazing views throughout the course of the mountains nearby and the skyline. I loved the layout of the course and the way it was made. It is super challenging with ravines, narrow fairways and lots of bunkers. Both the greens and the fairways were in great condition and very well maintained which meant great shots all around. Not to mention the very new golf carts with a lcd screen and gps to tell you exactly how far you are from the green. If you are looking to go to a nice course in the Vancouver area Westwood Plateau golf course is a solid contender.
Jim the Marshall is an excellent golfer.
These guys hosted our wedding banquet and did wonderfully. Fantastic food and service in a gorgeous environment. Off peak season rates are exceptionally good. We've been for other weddings at that venue and had equally enjoyable spread of food at competitive rates.
This venue has show stopper views, the ball room and club make a perfect setting for a Wedding, Corporate Event, Birthdays, Celebrations, and of course have an amazing Golf Course.
We had our wedding reception in the Gallery Room. Danielle and the rest of the team were incredible right from the beginning. They were professional, responded to our emails in a timely manner and walked us through every step. On the day of …
Such a beautiful and we'll run place.
Great club and views.
Friends wedding party....Beautiful venue ,with amazing valley view, excellent food and very nice professional service.
One of the best locations in the Tri-Cities for events and celebrations. We've photographed many weddings at Westwood Plateau and always enjoyed the atmosphere, the highest level of courtesy from staff, and of course the food has always been one of the things we most look forward to. I'd highly recommend this venue!
Quality food and yet not expensive. Very quiet and nice view
Great course. A number of challenging holes, rolling fairways as expected for a mountain course. You'll love the stunning views and a wide variety of holes. It's a very fun track but maybe bring a few extra balls. ????????
Soon to be brides and grooms BEWARE! If you are thinking of holding your wedding at Westwood Plateau, you might want to think twice. While they have excellent ratings on social media and bridal websites, and our guests very much enjoyed their phenomenal views of Mt. Baker, rustic atmosphere and delicious buffet items, there are certain “glitches” that took place during our wedding which made the event less than enjoyable for us as the bride and groom: • They don’t negotiate prices vs. other venues. They might give a bit of a discount on some items but not as much as other places. • The entire catering team and on-site coordinator lacked knowledge of what to do any sense of urgency: o They didn’t serve the bride (me) food and drink on time upon arrival as scheduled which caused me to feel ill for a good 2 hours. The food they eventually brought me an hour later was leftover crackers. You would think they would put aside the best food for the guests of honour. o They ran over the train of my dress with the golf cart prior to the reception starting which tore it off completely. The sad part was the lack of responsibility taken by the Manager. Yes, there is wind, but the incident happened on their premises in their golf cart. o They were supposed to plate food for the bride, groom and both sets of parents but were so slow that the entire bridal party had almost finished eating before the food arrived for the bride and groom. It was apparent to all the guests and very embarrassing (not to mention it caused me to feel faint… again). o They forgot to serve all of our pre-arranged vegan meals to our guests. o They rudely asked the mother-of-the-groom for payment even though the bill was already settled • When my cousin, the wedding coordinator, discussed the issues with the Manager after the event (who was not on-site for any of it) my cousin felt tuned out and not listened to. • When we discussed the issues with the Manager after the event we were disappointed. She was very organized and efficient during most of our dealings with her initially but when it came to us voicing our dissatisfaction after the event she completely changed. She insulted us by only offering us a $300 credit which is nothing compared to their automatic $1,700 plus gratuity (for what? Bad service?!) and she blamed me (the bride) for not communicating timelines clearly to her. Good customer service would never blame the bride no matter whose fault it was and there are emails to prove the timelines were communicated. If the timelines weren’t clear, the Manager should have asked. • When we asked for the Manager’s boss’s contact details to escalate our service issues she refused to give them. • When we spoke with her boss anyways (obtained the Director’s phone number through reception) we found out the Manager had lied to her boss and neglected to communicate some of the service issues. The director apologized and offered us a $600 credit. • When we spoke with the Manager after our conversation with the Director, she told off my husband for going over her head and claimed she was managing the issues fine. The sad part about of all of this is that we can’t go back in time to re-do the wedding. While our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves, my husband and I did not for at least a good 2-hour window. We experienced emotional distress over me almost fainting from lack of food and water and this set back our itinerary by 2-hours and we had to cut some items out of the program. Furthermore, we lost out on 2-hours of photography with our guests priced at $250 per hour (since no photographer is going to take a picture of the bride feeling ill) and we can’t recover the loss of not having these photos with all of our friends and family members at their tables. Then there is the issue of fixing my wedding dress… We really hope that nobody runs into any of these types of issues on their wedding day. Good luck!
David and the staff at 12 Hole Executive provided excellent service to our heavy hitters team!
My husband and I got married here in November 2016; all the staff members were so professional and understanding! Danielle is a terrific event coordinator and a pleasure to work with. Our guests still cannot stop raving about the food!!
Great course but marshal is non existent, pace of play every time is beyond slow and the kitchen / snack staff are beyond unorganized. Would not recommend
A decent place for ceremonies... food was okay. They close the garden gates at around midnight and the place gets really warm ... I also wish they would dim down the lights at night
First group out of the day. No services open in the clubhouse until 10 am on Sunday. First time golfing the track layout is a bit confusing. Very scenic course.
Nice venue staff helpful catered dinner was excellent
Beautiful place, nice architecture inside with the grand staircase and high ceiling. The food here is really good as well.
Super fancy. A bit overrated but the view is spectacular. Great spot for weddings.
Not a normal course, only about 11 holes are regularly golf holes and the rest is very confusing and in bad shape. Should be $60 not $115. Poor golf experience overall.
Incredible course with breathtaking views and amazing food
One of my favourite places to photograph weddings! Great space with some amazing architecture - exposed wood beams, Large windows and tall ceilings. Food is some of the best in the city!
The golf course was in good shape with the exception of the bunkers. There is not much sand in them.
I was there for a wedding reception. The place was clean, spacious, and the staff were helpful and organized. Also, the food was amazing!
Great service, and even better food. One of the best venues to host events!
Good course, a bit mucky when it's been raining for a bit
They don't do a very good job spacing out groups. Marshal made us skip a hole while we were on the 2 hour mark finishing the 9th.
Course was pretty much unplayable (April 22nd). As another review stated almost every fairway was a mess and severely water logged and yet it cost $61. Was told on the 3rd hole to speed up even though there was no one pushing us and no one in front of us. It’s hard to keep pace when you’re looking for perfect drives that disappeared into the earth. We eventually caught the twosome (we were 4) and never saw anyone behind us. Great marshal! An absolute waste of money do not bother this time of year.
Gorgeous day for golf and beautiful views. Round took 5 hours though.
Just a Hike this trip... Surrounded by Nature with Sisterhood in Tow
A bit of a different experience during COVID-19. The course is in great shape and the staff did their best to make the experience as pleasant as possible. On a nice day this is one of the prettiest courses in the Lower Mainland with sweeping view from.many of the holes. If you haven't played at Westwood Plateau then you should. The course layout caters to all levels of player with 5 tees to choose from. Lots of evelation changes. Missing fairways can (usually does) result in a lost stroke and often a lost ball. Fair warning, there are a few holes that can be intimidating to high handcappers.
Pros: Banquet food looks great and the raw oysters were amazing. Cons: A lot of the banquet food was quite salty and that was the ongoing case with a lot of the comments we got. Bottom Line: Went here in October for my sister's wedding reception. Service and atmosphere was great. Just the food looked better than it tasted.
The course has some great holes and spectacular view. They need to maintain the course. We played yesterday and it had rained the day before but balls would plug in the fairway and balls would sink in the standing water in the bunkers. If you want to play this course I would suggest waiting for 2 weeks of good weather so the course can dry out.
Simply outstanding: golf course, views, service, food, drink and experiences.
Poor bunkers and greens.
I love this course, challenging, scenic, wildlife and great food. I should not forget the great staff. :)
Great course! Was in excellent shape given the recent heat wave. Pace was good and the marshal was very friendly. Some of the holes here are very pretty and the views are spectacular. Would highly recommend.
Love this course. Grew up playing here and as the years went by it seemed as though they got away from relationship building and attention to detail on the course. Over the last few years it has completely changed and I have noticed that they've got back to the focus on the overall experience, relationships and course care. Highly recommend for just a round, for a tournament or just to go grab some food.
Course was not in good shape
Attended a wedding here and the venue was amazing. Food was good too.
Course in average shape. Tee boxes and a few sandtraps need improvement. Poor pin placement on a few holes. Also no marshall to speed up slow group ahead of us. Food in clubhouse and staff very good and professional. Overall rate 7/10
Beautiful location excellent for banquets
Great food and even greater service! So nice to be dining in again there.
Beautiful
We recently attended a wedding that was held at the Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club. The location is spectacular as no matter where you look out from, the view is absolutely gorgeous. There was ample parking spaces, despite there being 2 weddings on this day and the place also being open to golfers. During the reception, we noticed that it was a bit of a challenge to get a server to re-fill our waters, take away our plates, etc. I was surprised that this venue provides the food for the reception but the wait for the food was longer than we had expected...about 2.5 hours after the ceremony. The food was buffet-style and I appreciated the wide range of food. I tried a little bit of everything the first round (salads, raw vegetables, deli meats, smoked salmon, rice, pasta, snapper, chicken, and roast beef). However, after the first plate, I was pretty much full and not really wanting seconds. The food didn't taste as good as it looked. I was really excited for the roast beef but it was super tough and fatty, making it hard to chew and swallow. It also didn't help that all of the food was outside and even while we were dishing up the food, we noticed bees and other bugs flying around. As disgusting as it may sound, but we even saw a bee munching away at one of the deli meats. They did end with a great selection of desserts and fruits, but again, the quality of the desserts fell short. In summary, I would say that this venue is a great place to hold a wedding, but the food and the service at the reception was quite disappointing.
I had my wedding at Westwood on August 31, 2013 and it was amazing! The food was phenomenal. People couldn't stop talking about it for days. Staff were super professional and helpful. I highly recommend hosting a wedding or event at Westwood... they know their stuff!
Visited this establishment for a "Craft Beer Fest", Beautiful set up and very clean, will definitely visit again
Beautiful facility and event space.
Just had our wedding in Westwood Plateau Golf And Country Club. Two weeks prior to our wedding our Special Event Manager, Danielle Hill, ask us to pay the full payment($10,000+). Even though we had some doubt on the full payment two weeks prior to our event, we have fully paid full amount because we had trust on her and the club since we had nice reviews on the internet and some of our friends on this place. Unfortunately, our event did not go as Danielle described to us prior to our event. For example, they prepared ONLY 144 oysters for 130 guest for our 60+ dollar-per-person buffet ($60+ 17% service charge and 12% Tax) unlike what she have promised to us(she promised at least two or more refills on every item) , we did not even had ONE REFILL on at least two of our entree items. Also, their refills on the other items were very slow that half our guest didn't even see few of the food that we have paid for. Furthermore, for our wine services, we had "NO ONE" to continually serve the wine, which made our guests to wait for a while for a refill. When I asked why the wine refill was so delayed, our supervisor told me that they were "short staffed". This does not make sense at all especially when we have reserved and deposited $1,500 for this date over 10 months prior to our event. HEADS UP for the future consumers, WATCH OUT for their surcharge on the payment, since they had a brochure of 2018 evening service saying $57 per person for our specific buffet we have chosen when we were putting the deposit down, they told us it was $60 per person on the day we were signing and said possibility of increment on the payment was on the contract when we were reserving the place. We only had our reception venue on this place for 130 guest and paid mored then $10,000 on this place. Even though it might sound okay or even good from other reviewers' perspective, we warn you to have our review as a warning and watch out for the things we have described.
Excellent course and awesome staff. One of a kind !
We had our wedding here in November 2019 and it was such a fantastic experience! The special events manager, Danielle, is super experienced and handled everything so professionally and was so patient with all our last minute changes. On the wedding day itself our day-of coordinator, Karen, was extremely attentive and took care of any requests we had and enthusiastically ensured we had a stress-free experience on our big day. All of the other staff working that day were fantastic and took care of our guests well. We would absolutely recommend this venue to any other couple looking for a fantastic wedding venue. P.s. The food was amazing! We had the BBQ buffet and everything so delicious! All of our guests loved it.
Great food and excellent service. Golf course was challenging.
I am by no means a great golfer, so take my review as you will. But this course is absolutely beautiful! I played there this evening with a couple friends and we had a blast. We started at 4pm and with the sun going down fairly early we only got to hole 10, but the views, the greens and everything were spectacular. We drove past the back 9 on the way back to the clubhouse and I cannot wait to come back and play this course, in full. Only thing is, the fairways were a bit soggy and the bunkers were definitely in a need of some repair. Cant blame the course though in my opinion, considering we had a lot of rain this past month. Good old Vancouver weather ???? Kudos to the course super for the condition it's in considering the rain. I'll be back!!
Great food
Used to be one of the nices courses to play so disappointed how the course maintenance has gone down hill new owner should invest in drainage up grades during down times bunkers lack sand took over 5.5 hrs to play around will not be going back for a long time many courses on better shape and a lot cheaper also did not like you asking for separate cart said they prefer that we ride together don’t recommend playing this course
The course has some excellent views, but you do not get much time to enjoy them. It is extremely complicated. Could be more enjoyable if it was not so muddy around the edges, and some maintenance around the edges. I also did not appreciate almost being clipped by a ball, as ply must be extremely fast.
Great layout greens were in good shape
Course was good. Carley girls were good. Service in the clubhouse was absolutely terrible. Waited 30 minutes for a drink. And after I couldn’t wait anymore I asked for the bill and waited another 15 minutes to leave. Food was meh….
I was excited to try this course out as I just moved out here in October. It’s early in the golf season, not a lot of golfers out yet. Got a good online deal. But once arriving and starting the 3rd hole, you realize why. The course is in atrocious shape. They’re cutting grass that didn’t need to be and was making it worse. Balls lost left and right due to plugs. The Marshall decided to chase us around telling us to speed up however when you’re trying to find plugged balls in open areas it will slow you down. Made for a horrible first experience. Sad when you want to go have a nice, relaxing day golfing with a friend yet it’s ruined by a bored marshall and beat up course. I won’t be back and would recommend staying away from this course just as many others have said.
I just had great day being apart of the Douglas college golf turnament . I was a guest. The turnament was run perfectly . The atmosphere of the course is fantastic with the forest and spactaular views of the lower metro area. The hard winter we had took its tolls on the greens . I would love to play a round again soon. Dave.????
I was really disappointed this pass Sunday when I found out the golf course does not give out rain checks. I had paid online for 2 people and did not want to play in the rain. We wanted to book for the following Sunday and was told I would have to talk to a manager but he wasn't in at the moment. I left my number and as of Tuesday has not heard back from them. I have played a few rounds there this year and have enjoyed myself. This experience has left a really bad taste in my mouth and don't think I will be back.
Great place for a game of golf
It’s a beautiful course, scenic and most greens were in great condition. The issues we had were with the customer service, slow pace of play, and no course marshalling. The kitchen staff seemed to care less about making a good experience for paying customers and the course desperately needs Marshall’s to speed groups up if they fall behind. Overall, pretty brutal experience but beautiful course.
Good service courteous staff. Food is good. Not noisy not crowded.
The prime rib was delicious a fantastic family night out! It's great having this in the neighbourhood.
Wildlife on the course makes for fun shots and pics great views aswell
We had our wedding reception in the Gallery Room. Danielle and the rest of the team were incredible right from the beginning. They were professional, responded to our emails in a timely manner and walked us through every step. On the day of our wedding everything went so smoothly. The food was delicious and plentiful - we went with the Plateau Buffet menu and had a few appetizers - so many mentioned how much they enjoyed it. They went above and beyond to make sure our guests with food restrictions were catered to.
The Service is Amazing - great Service Group
Needed a beer girl out there today.Full course and no refreshments
Challenging course, but course need to be taking care of better. Most greens and fairways need a lot of help!! I grew up playing this course as a member, it's a shame
Awful place for wedding. Manager DO NOT CARE about you. Extremely bad customer service. Do not go there!!
The course is in terrible condition
Enjoyed a relaxing dinner with friends. Food was good overall with service and prices also comparable to similar restaurants.
Beautiful venue
Tough course for beginners.
We fell in love with this venue the first time we visited it after we got engaged and decided to go with them after visiting several other venues. The architecture and the views are what got me. The options for food were also amazing, they were very accommodating. Throughout the process, Westwood was great every step of the way. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially on the day of. The day of coordinator assigned to us, Karen helped with my dress train during our pictures and even plated my food which was so unexpected. The prices were more than fair, and literally every one of our guests looooved the food. Highly recommend.
Lovely place for wedding
The Special Event Manager at Westwood Plateau does not care about you or your wedding. They only care about Money Money Money! Do not come here for the wedding! Go somewhere else! Worst experience over here!
This was the worst experience I have had, both on and off the course in all my years of playing golf. I played this course about a month ago and even sent in an email detailing the terrible experience. I received no response. The course marshal is either poorly trained or just incompetent. In the restaurant it took 40 minutes to get a single cup of coffee. Just avoid this place entirely.
Beautiful golf course in Coquitlam Westwood Plateau area. It is huge and part of it is on Parkway Blvd and the other part is on Plateau Blvd. The Plateau Blvd part has a Banquet Hall which is popularly used for weddings. The helicopter landing is also on the Plateau side. Lots of them flying in and out. The restaurant on Parkway is nice. It is pricey but delicious. Staff is courteous.
