Morgan Creek is my favourite golf course and the condition is amazing. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The pace of play is on schedule, that’s important to me. All the members I have met thus far have been great. I would suggest inquiring about the Players Club, its money well spent.

Expensive golf course. Nice greens and tee boxes. Lots of trees and very wide fairway. Greens are nice and big but a bit slow. Reason for 4 stars is a practice putting green. I no flat spot. Too much slope.

The online booking process is relatively cumbersome and glitchy compared to most clubs. After calling and explaining the technical issues to their clubhouse staff they were quick to help me over the phone and fit us in. This level of service continued during our round as the staff was very welcoming and the course played very well. They should maybe cut their holes a little sharper though... my putts kept missing them :)

Great food ! Great set up! Great service! Nice views and large area to dine in! Everything was up to high standards and we will definitely go back again! Cannot wait for next weekend for the wedding. Hoping the buffet is just as delicious ! There are many great food options, our table had many varieties of them and they were all good! The beverage section is ok. The parking lot was big, even with a golf course, restaurant and wedding venue we didn't have trouble finding a spot to park.

The golf course and practice facility is usually in impeccable shape. However the dining options are abysmal. Post game drinks and food doesn't match the quality of the golf course and the higher green fees you pay as a result. The selection, service and quality is really lacking.

It’s a nicely kept spacious golf course with a beautiful garden in front of the clubhouse. Just the garden alone is worth visiting. Flowers blooming in different colours, fountains ejecting water in ponds, flower beds artistically edged with curved rocks, and a small decorative wooden bridge with a wooden bench placed by one side . . . Oh, the shed in the garden looks very much like the tiny house by the lakeside in Yoho National Park, so stylistic and adorable! . . . Once I saw in distance a big heron staying put atop the clubhouse, watching for fish in ponds to appear. So poetic !

The staffs here need to learn more about customer service and manners for the golf. I was this course with my father and his friends who visit Canad from other country. When one of our guest trying to putt for eagle, yes eagle putt!! one of staff ask to move out our power cart. He could not wait just few second for the putt. What a arrogant manner.

As a couple and along with 2 or 3 other couples, we have dined at Morgan Creek Restaurant a number of times - both lunch and dinner. We have, up until recently, enjoyed the food, service and ambience very much - as it should be. We had reservations last week for a birthday celebration. There were 6 of us - all seniors. We were seated in the dining room, just off the bar. The bar was completely full plus very loud and noisy. Apparently we made the mistake of coming on men's night. As well, there was a table behind us with 6 people who were extremely loud, especially a man and woman and they never let up the whole time we were there. The more they drank, the louder they got. We asked to be moved to the rear half of the dining room which was much quieter and nobody there. Our waitress told us no, that the tables were only set for 4 and besides at the very rear, there was a table reserved for 12. Seriously, we could not even carry on a conversation without yelling at each other. The noise behind us along with the bar was ridiculous. It was a very uncomfortable dinner and certainly not enjoyable. One would think someone in charge would have asked those people behind us to please quiet down. We thought we were going to a nice golf club restaurant - not a beer parlour! We won't be back - ever.

My friend has been assaulted by a golfer using this golf course yesterday April 18 he pushed him in a bush wile making threats. Hopefully the group of golfers have been talked to as this is unacceptable for an assault to happen especially in this type of neighborhood. I was not directly hurt but I feelt very unsafe. This behavior is the same you would expect from a 6 year old. These guys are grown men that should know better then assault innocent teenager's.

These guys do it right. They are in a league of their own when it comes to keeping their course in mint condition. The drainage is top notch and there really isn't anywhere else in the Greater Vancouver area that comes close. The practice facility, food services, and pro shop are all great as well as the staff running them. I tip my hat to you Morgan Creek!

I tee'd off here just before 9am on a beautiful Monday morning July 8th, 2019. When I arrived, I was pleased to know that driving range balls were included as every golf course in Vancouver makes you pay for driving range balls. They have an excellent practice facility with very finely cut greens and fluffy sand in their bunkers. The course is challenging as hole one is the handicap 1 difficulty of the course. Lots of great holes here and conditions are perfect. I'd easily say that if you are visiting Vancouver for the first time, Morgan Creek is the golf course to play!

The course is always in great shape, it doesn’t take long to see the quality and pride of this course. You are greeted by the bag drop guys and made to feel welcome. Pro shop has knowledgeable staff with a great selection of merchandise. Grass driving range with warm up balls provided as part of you green fee. The starters and players assistants are engaging and ensure all guests are aware of their standards for pace of play. The restaurant has a great selection and an awesome patio to enjoy the end of your round. They also have a loyalty program that offers great savings on green fees and free rounds. They are all about the guest experience and consistently deliver.

This course is easily in the top 3 public courses in the lower mainland (Vancouver - Langley) etc. It’s always in excellent condition. More difficult than most courses but you have the ability to get creative and cycle through your bag. I actually prefer this course over a couple of the private clubs in Vancouver. Don’t worry if you don’t pat the 1st. The majority do not.

I think Morgan Creek is one of the finest lower Mainland golf courses. It is flat enough to walk easily and the conditions of greens, fairways and tees are superb. I played this course today for the first time. It's been raining quite a bit for the last week and the course was in pristine condition. The rough was a little wet but not bad at all, fairways and greens were in great shape. I would say this is the best public course available. Great driving range and great pro shop. James in the pro shop went above and beyond his customer service was second to none. I look forward to playing this course again and again. Thanks Morgan creek for a great day of golf.

Having played dozens of course's in 4 countries Morgan Creek ranks right in the top 10.. Well designed for the weekend golfer to the pro.. (first hole will get your adrenalin going).. Club house staff awesome totally look after you and with a personal attitude.. Here's where it get's ugly.. Group in front of our (affluent) foursome are a hole ahead, gps said we were 8mins behind.. Group of 4 behind us never in site.. Five times we were harassed by 3 different course marshalls telling us to pick up the pace.. "HELLO" McFly... What is your problem we the players are not having a problem.. This totally changed the good feeling we had at the start and if something doesn't change our membership is "done"..

Security is a big issue when considering locations for golf courses especially at Morgan Creek, Surrey, BC. We were on vacation and our friend drove us to play at Morgan Creek Golf and Country in Surrey BC on August 8, 2016. While we enjoyed playing the course, we were devastated when we returned to our car after our round, to find that our car was broken into "professionally" (drill punched the lock) and we lost everything that was locked in the trunk - my purse and my husband's laptop. Security was severely lacking at Morgan Creek. For the high price we paid, there was no attention to your bag drop, or your arrival in the parking lot. It was evident the course was aware of the security problem, because when we reported the theft, they showed us a picture of suspicious individual with a bike riding around the parking lot watching what people locked in their trunks. It was a different person, who I remembered riding by our car, when we arrived. How do two guys ride around the parking lot and not get noticed and kicked out. How do they allow two cars to be broken into that day? I left my purse locked in the trunk, and they managed to take my credit cards and run up $9,000 in charges, and somehow they got my PIN!!! I got no satisfaction from the Golf Course, who did not see fit to file a police report. So if you are planning to play at Morgan Creek, think twice about it, and if you do, don't lock anything in your car trunk. It isn't safe there.

I cannot believe this course is not the highest rated course around. It is a fantastic golf facility, for golfers, wearing golf attire. DRIVING RANGE - Excellent. Large, level, well maintained grass tees. Multiple target greens and varying distances. The practice green is large and in great shape. The large chipping green features a practice bunker. STAFF - I have only played this course twice, (last 2 weeks as I had to return after first experience) and I have found the staff to be excellent. Very friendly and informative. Complimentary water and ice in the cart-fitted coolers are much welcomed in the heat. COURSE - Superb. Bunkers are great to play from, tees are large and in great condition. Greens are very fast but receptive to spin. Fairways are excellent. This is a proper golf course. It is a long walk if you fancy the exercise. Don't be fooled by poor reviews from people in tank tops or someone who may have ran into a bad group on the course. Morgan Creek Golf Course is a gem.

I remember why I stopped playing here. The marshal follows us around and telling us to hurry up. We finished 4 hrs 20 min with a group of four, which is less than the pace of play. Almost every time I’ve been here it’s been like this. Also, rushed us to the tee box at 1020 when our tee time is 1030.

Very professional staff in the pro shop to assist with all your needs, i know having used them for fittings, friendly and helpful all other days, first class practice facility, best in lowermainland, and very challenging golf course which is in top condition in any season. I rank it the driest course anywhere in the lowermainland on rainy day and in winter months. Only course i have ever played where #1 handicap hole is the first hole. Even the staff in the snack booth are friendly and the prices are very reasonable for food.. Food in the main restaurant is as good as any place in South Surrey and service is also first class. The only shortcomings i can think of are in my own game. That said, green fees are higher than normal but they do have good early morning rates. The course is recommended for good to excellent players. High handicap players will find it very difficult.

Shameful display of greed. I checked in and was not advised of their players promotion program. To pay $125.00 for this course is a joke. Possibly $70.00 to end would be more representative of the facility. It was a dis-appointing day.

Probably the most disappointing golf experience I’ve ever had. People were raving about how nice this course was to me for years. I was playing with a bunch of high handicappers, so we got carts to keep the pace of play up. They told us on the first tee box the carts would be path only, which renders them more of a burden for pace than an advantage. Then there was some GPS issue on four holes in the carts that governed their speed at 2mph as the screen told us to return to the cart path. It took us over 30 minutes to play one of the holes where it was doing this. They also didn’t tell us until the morning of that both the greens and fairways had been aerated the day before. I couldn’t hit a shot without removing above five plugs of dirt before striking it, and when I did it was so sandy it felt like hitting out of a bunker. The greens were so badly aerated it was like playing plinko the way the ball just randomly bounced. If this course was a local pitch and putt, I’d be disappointed, but for a $427 round, this was just catastrophe. ***Edit after response: the cart fee was indeed refunded. Point is, the carts were not just useless, they made us play rushed on every hole, so we had to pick up half the time, so frankly they ruined the whole game. Other than that, Tee time still ended up being over $300 for a course in 2/10 condition.

We played yesterday Dec 3rd and the course was in excellent shape considering how wet November was. The staff were friendly as always and the pace of play was very good. This course offers a good challenge for your game. They have an excellent practice facility and clubhouse. They offer a players club membership which I have had for a few years and worth the money.
