Nice course, several greens need work. Have been there many times but these last two tomes, the marshalls have developped attitude. Its ok to advise people of what they may doing wrong but there are proper ways which tow of them have failed....attitude....attitude.....attitude. The deal they have in place which consists of golf, cart and Moosehead beer is great however when I went on Monday I asked if the beer could be replaced by a softdrink since I don't drink. To my surprise and pleasently, I was told not problem. I was told at the Pro Shop when registering that it was only to be consumed after the day. We asked asked at the rnd and was told we could have asked for it halfway to go in a plastic glass which is fantastic. However today different day, different rules. When I asked for a soft drink instead of the beer the young man at the bar which was very nice went to check and he was told no. Iasked for whom he spoke to and I went to speak to him and told him different day different rules. I was very polite and explained they shoumd be consistent with regards to switching the beverage and also with the rule about halfway asking for it to go. He said that was wrong and as for the switching of drinks, its a Moosehead promotion and there is nothing he can do. Odly enough as soon as I said I was going to leave a revieq, he said it was ok to switch. The ownee Claude Leclair walked in and his staff would of course never mention to him my displeasure. The way I see it, it might have been an error the first time but why change your mind as soon as you say you would leave a reivew? The course needs work, the fairways have patches everywhere and the greens are brows and lots with irigationn holes. Ai was told the prices will be going up soon since the course is getting in better sharpe. We are at the end of July and it was farily quiet. If I were them, I would keep the promotion the way it is however if someone wants to change the beer for a softdrink, so what?
In the end, I use to go several times a year to this course but with these attitudes and inconsistencies, there are lots of courses fighting for our dollar..Time to look elsewhere to play and be better served and received.
