This is a beautiful private, family and residential resort in Westfield Indiana.Chatham Hills has indoor and outdoor swimming, an 18 hole and 9 hole golf course with a heated indoor driving range and golf simulator. There is day time casual dining, a formal dining room and bar as well as a gentlemen's club. There is bowling, a basketball gym, tennis courts, pickleball, fire pits for outdoor seating, a gym with childcare, and even a sledding hill.

Went to a wedding here, a club member made a scene at the start of ceremony into the vows because they couldn’t sit outside 7 feet away for the short time period. Literally shouting. The facility did little to nothing…a groomsmen had to kindly address the family. Money aside, indecency should not be tolerate anywhere or a sought out trait in members. Tolerating that reflects so much more than a backwards hat. Beware brides, the members might get upset over your big day.

How this course has this high of a rating is surprising. Stay away unless you enjoy municipal course conditions at country club prices. You can look forward to booking a tee time like checking into your next southwest flight...it’s that overcrowded. Do you enjoy scenic vistas of trees and rolling hills on your course? Instead, expect lines of oversized houses on tiny lots lining every square inch of the course. Spend your money wisely and join a different club or enjoy the minimum 5 public courses in the area that are superior in terms of quality of course and conditions. Been a member for years, but I am stuck...staff is great though!!! Concerns by members and guests include deplorable turf conditions like spotty fairway hard pan in prime golf season, drainage issues on 7th fairway/rough, beat up greens and destroyed tee boxes from too much play. The green side bunkers have minimal sand and have rarely been raked. The list goes on. For the club championship you’d think the course would be peak condition. Hardly. I and other members have been embarrassed to bring guests to the club...this summer was that bad. It’s a fun design and why I joined, just a shame the course is not up to reasonable standards. You’d think that the houses surrounding the course could offer some room in the budget to make the course worthy of how it is presented. Membership number is so high it’s harder to get a tee time at Chatham than most public courses. Management, please reflect on this and get the course up to proper condition. If anybody in management reads this is an actual golfer, you know the reality. I want results. Not a refund or smoke blown up my backside if I were to complain in person. Just get it done.
