Terrible customer service. Lady working had no clue what was happening. Had a tee time booked and she let a group of 8 players tee off in front of us (two players in our group). The group wouldn't let us play through at all the whole round . Went to the clubhouse after nine holes to speak to someone and there wasn't an employee to be found, I could hear a man and woman in a heated argument upstairs of the clubhouse.. After 12 holes and five hours we quit out of frustration. Went back to the clubhouse to let them know how frustrated and dissapointed we were only to have the lady blame us for our experience, said we should have called the clubhouse to complain while we were playing but we didn't bring our cell phones on the course with us. She raised her voice with me and wasn't one bit apologetic and continuously blamed us the terrible experience. Been golfing my whole life and never had such an ugly experience on a golf course in my life.. Place is a shell of what it use to be, bathrooms and clubhouse are filthy and deteriorating and obviously the customer service is non existent. New owners only care about $$$ apparently not the customer. Will never be back. I'd strongly advise to stay away at all costs !! * Wondering how I got the picture I went to my car after we quit to get my phone to grab a picture of what we dealt with all day to show the lady working.. She didn't care obviously

I played this course a lot when I picked up the game at 60. I always felt welcome with my starter clubs. Now I have played most of PEI's courses and how do I feel? I feel welcomed by friendly people who cannot believe how lucky they are to live here. I continue to play this lovely seaside course every year and still enjoy it. I wish my scores would improve a bit though.

A nice little beginner's course with a good mix of long/short, easy/challenging holes. LOTS of fairway to find your ball keeps the high handicapper from becoming discouraged. Yet the trees, water, sand, etc. make it a challenge for the experienced golfer to keep their score low. This is a great place for an accomplished golfer to introduce a new duffer to this crazy game. The newbie can play without becoming too discouraged while the seasoned player can still enjoy a moderate challenge to keep their stroke count low. The course is generally well maintained and the new owners are making an effort to improve the quality of the greens. Some overall improvements are still needed but that takes time. One complaint I hear from EVERY golfer during their first few rounds at G.A. is that it's often difficult to find the next tee box. A little more on-course signage directing golfers from the putting green to the next tee box would make a big difference! I'd suggest this as a priority. The game can be frustrating enough without the challenge of trying to decide where to go next! The course is less than 30 minutes from downtown Charlottetown yet the country setting makes for a relaxing round of golf. The view from waterfront fairways is stunning! That alone is worth the price of admission. Which, btw, is very reasonable. So, grab a golf buddy and have a great time at G.A. After your round, head over to the 19th for some great views of the ocean and countryside from the outdoor patio. There's a limited selection of adult beverages available but you should be able to find something to cool off with. Before you leave, make sure to take in the view one more time then let the friendly staff know how much you enjoyed your day on the course. You may even want to book your next round... Enjoy!

Staff were very friendly, greens and fairways were pretty good. The parking brake on our cart wouldn't work, but it stayed in one place. Fairways are nice and wide, good course for the beginner to intermediate golfer.

The greens were great, sand trap ok, fairways were more like yard grass with weeds, no bare spots. Needed score card to get around the course. This was our first time and had some trouble finding the next hole. I would recommen this course to friends.
