Great course, well taken care of. Amazing staff too. I am new to golf this year and have played this course 3 times, this time I ended up taking a game by myself (which I do not recommend btw) and jumped a couple of groups, the marshal came to see me and suggested I move to play the first 5 a couple of times, I took this the wrong way and got a little out of sorts to be honest, but I kept going and was later met by the GM I believe (Sylvain?) he was amazingly friendly and tipped me on pace of play even as a solo player. I did not ever once feel like anyone was pressuring me or getting mad. All this to say I’ve never had a bad experience here and I think on the island this is the best kept course and the price reflects the quality of their service and greens.

Played the Island course, it is gorgeous, offers great value at $29 for an evening tee time and is handling the covid situation well. However dont expect much from the halfway house. The person there served the duo in front of us and told our group that it was “closed” while she proceeded to use her phone, even though the nice gentlemen at the first hole confirmed that it would be open when we arrive. On top of that the vending machine will not return coins if you are short. Overall its a great course and I would recommend it if you are in the island of montreal.

Played this amazing course today and don't want to play anywhere else in Montreal now...the Ireland course is super challenging but forces you to play smart and strategically, beautiful scenery, long undulating fairways with big pot bunkers make you feel like you're in the UK, plus it was raining today the entire time but I still enjoyed. One of the worst golf courses I’ve played at. They booked way too many people to tee off. Pushed my tee time 15-20 minutes. Every hole had 3 groups waiting to tee off. Marshall clearly doesn’t do their job there... Not worth the price at all.

I really love both of these courses. Ile de Montreal is a top-notch public option in the greater Montreal area for golf. Unfortunately, I had a guest come in from out of town and I hyped it up and the conditions were really below-par. He is an avid golfer and he was really un-imptrssed. The tee boxes were an awful shape and a lot of the fairways had patches of grass missing. I was truly disappointed and let down. It may have been a tough start to the season but there is no reason why this course, at the rates that they charge, is not able to get their grass into amazing condition by the middle of July.

Awful experience today. Bunch of kids partying with loud boombox music. The marshalls were nice and tried to handle the situation. They even told these kids 3 times to speed up before we started being mad. Then, the manager Sylvain comes to so call “handle” the situation. He was arrogant and rude and laughing and his answer being the guys have carts and have to stay on the cart path and you guys are three and with push carts thats why your pace is faster than them. (The kids did not stay on the cart path at all) only when marshalls came. He also said that this golf course has no rules as per playing music hence he could not tell them anything for the music. He then proceeded to say that 4:45 for the 18 hole was not that bad for a pace and that we shouldnt complain basically. Worst thing is the marshalls had already handled the situation great. When i told him the marshall handled it and he sympathized with us. Said manager responded I have been here 25 years he (the marshall) has only been here 6 days. Anyways we are used to playing at golf courses like versant, saint raph etc. I even like UFO better as at least you get good service even if the courses are not great. All in all bad experience and customer service. Wont return. Wont recommend.

The only reason this place is getting two stars is because the course was beautiful. The employees on the other hand were very rude. They rushed us on the course on three separate occasions, making it out to be our fault, when the reason for the slow play (only 10 minutes behind schedule through the front 9) was due to THEIR overbooking of tee times. It was a beautiful and warm Friday so I am not surprised the course was packed, but they are the ones that scheduled the tee times and then blamed us for slow play. We could not play any faster than what we were. We were on the heels of the people in front of us the whole time, and they were waiting for the people in front of them, and so on. I finally got so fed up with this stupidity that I had to argue with the last guy who was giving us a hard time, telling him the people in front of us just teed off and if any of us stepped up to the tee box we would likely hit them. The guy still insisted on us teeing off. We refused. The fact that this guy was willing to risk patrons getting hurt is ridiculous. Also, there is only one place on the course to get water/beer/food at the 9th. Not too smart. You will naturally have a back up at 9 when that's the case. It honestly felt like we had an American flag target on our backs...didn't see anyone else getting hassled like we were. If I am ever back in Montreal I will definitely not be golfing here. Rudeness factor = 10.

The Marshalls, though very polite, commented 3 times on playing time and followed us one front and one back all along the 1st 9 holes! I was so anxious that it was obvious that they were putting pressure on us! They ruined our round of golf and our day. I have never been so insulted on a golf course! It's a great way to make sure you never come back and spend your money elsewhere where they have an idea of what a good customer experience is! DO NOT PLAY THIS PLACE. TERRAIN IN BAD CONDITION FOR THE.PRIX AND NO SENSE OF SERVICE TO CUSTOMERS. (Original) Extrêmement déçu. Expérience golf: 3 étoiles. Le terrain est partiellement en réparation sur TOUS LES TROUS du parcours de L'Ile. Pourtant 388$ pour 4 golfeurs. Expérience client: 0, 0, ZÉRO!!! The course is pretty and was in decent shape. Unfortunately, as a twosome we had a group of four obnoxious, unskilled golfers who would not let us through, and there was no ranger to manage the situation. It was late in the afternoon, and when we passed them around hole 10, they obviously skipped several holes to get in front of us and play the last couple holes before dark, but held us up for about 10 minutes on each tee. We reported this to someone in the restaurant as it was after hours. He took our number and we never heard back. So unfortunately this is my recollection of the course.

Best public golf course in the Montreal region. Two beautiful 18 hole courses that are dramatically different from one another. The links course is down right unsettlingly wonderful, but it will beat you up if you can't hit the ball straight. You won't see a course like this anywhere near Montreal. The Island course is a top notch parkland layout that will challenge you on the front 9 and cut you down on the back. The players and staff are all very pleasant and you won't find better value for your money anywhere else in Canada.

Been golfing for over 15 years & received by far the worst service of all time. Overbooked their course, delayed tee time & zero respect from the staff at the front desk, ESPECIALLY from their so called manager. Arrogant & rude. Definitely shouldn’t be working with the public & especially not at a Golf course.
