Possibly the nicest course I have ever played at. Big variation of difficulty on the holes. The pro shop is really nicely laid out too. Most of all the staff were all super friendly and I know I will have to go back soon.

Absolutely spectacular condition. Would rank this course among the highest in the province for conditioning alone. A tough track, but very interesting. Course looks amazing post-reno in 2017. Highly recommend the trip north for this track - on another level compared to the nearby courses (Storey Creek, Morningstar, Eaglecrest, etc). Definitely a must play

Five stars for sure! Awesome golf course and facility. Arrived early for my first-ever round at this course on Saturday and decided to have a pre-game lunch at Velocity Restaurant on-site. I chose the Velocity sandwich and a pint of Tofino Blonde on tap. It was delicious. You absolutely must try that sandwich, it is so good. Hats off to the staff at the restaurant - and in particular - my server Rebecca :) The course itself is a beautiful layout and despite the early drought drying out everything, Campbell River G & CC is lush, green and in top condtion. The onboard GPS on the carts helped with yardage and the carts themselves were well equipped with 2 bottles of water, 2 ball markers, 2 divot tools and 3 tees apiece. The carts also featured on-board ball washers, club cleaners and sand bottles...and of course, the scorecard. Nice! We got underway in late afternoon (4pm) and played at a nice pace, finishing in under 4 hours. All staff we encountered, from check-in to check-out, were friendly and helpful. Although the facility is very nice, there was no "country club snobbiness" to be found. Will definitely be back to play some more this season (I'm from down Island) and I would strongly urge other golfers who haven't yet had the pleasure of playing here to do so. Worth every penny! And remember, try the Velocity Sandwich! It's really, really good! Cheers PS - The only 'negative' is you can't drive the power cart in the parking lot to load up, so be prepared to actually use the bag drop. No biggie and I had to find something to "complain" about LOL

Fantastic course, in amazing shape! Lots of tee boxes for golfers of differing handicaps. There are 2 comfort stations that are accessible from several holes. All in all a great experience!

This is an awesome golf course! As a group of four we play here every week and one other course on Vancouver Island. Each time we play some place else we compare it to CRGCC and none can really compete!! The greens make you work for your pars: The fairways are well manicured and the views of the island mountains are spectacular! The staff is friendly and always ready to serve you to the utmost. Love Campbell River Golf & Country Club!

My husband's work had their Xmas party at Velocity. It was great, everything was very clean, the servers were excellent, and the food was ???????????????????? The driving range was great fun. It was dumping snow at the time, but that didn't stop us haha. It's a shame that the overhang over the tee area wasn't a bit longer, as it would keep people out of the elements a bit more. It ends directly over where you stand to drive the balls, so if there's any kind of precipitation, be prepared to get wet. In addition to the rain or snow falling on you, anything that drips off the overhang also hits you because it ends right above your head. There are lights to illuminate the range at night, and they are also directly above your head where the overhang ends, and because it was snowing, the lights were melting the snow and that was pouring on us too???? All in all a fun night, but most of us went home wet and cold!????????

This course is really exquisite, although there is wind, rain and low temperature, but more different feeling, of course, autumn is my favorite season, I will go again.???????????? The water system on the course was fantastic because we were playing in rainy weather, but there was no mud on the fairways, no water on all 18 greens, and the bunkers were soft and smooth, so it was great.????????????????????????????????????

For the most part it's a beautiful course. But I can go play Storey Creek for $20 cheaper at the same time and I think its a better course. Every other course I've been to recently has ball washers, benches and garbage cans on each hole. Not one to be found here. And when is hole 5 going to be normal again? Half of it is just a big sand box.

Beautoful, well maintained course with a Top golf style driving range with adjoining Velocity Lounge with excellemt servers, cocktails and ambience. Played a great round then spent 2 hours in the lounge/driving range with the wives and kids. Can't wait to return!

Good Day of golf. Golf course is looking a little rough around the edges, lots of ground under repair and way too much unsuccessful re-seeding all over the course that makes walking the course a hassle. $8,50 before tip for a cider.

Campbell River Golf and Country Club is a pristine facility - course conditions are impeccable, good variety of holes and plenty of tees to choose from. Unfortuantely our round was over 5 hours long!!! My husband and I played on Father's Day and I am writing this review on this platform as I have written to the Golf Club Manager and have yet to receive a response. We , as first time players there, but golfers for 25+ years, felt some services definitely need attention. Although the front end gal at the counter was friendly we were told to 'oh, just take any cart", but weren't told where they were, sort of hap haphazardly parked in front of the ProShop. We were not told where the putting greens or about any of the other facilities available to us. We did find it. We went to the first hole 10 minutes prior to our tee time, as there was no invite to the tee called. There was not a starter in sight, we introduced ourselves to our playing partners and watched the group 2 tee times in front of us swing and miss, swing and miss, run after their tee shot, hit again, and again, and again. I know everyone starts at some time in their lives but they should not have been playing the back tees, and a starter could have advised them. The group in front of us was able to play through on the turn - lucky them. There was no marshalling and the Back 9 took us over 3 hours This group stopped for photo ops with the group in front, the lady in the group played in bare feet and three of the four should not have been out there!! We would love to play here again soon, and hope management addresses some of the issues. Better information from Pro SHop staff, someone at bag drop to assist with getting clubs from our car, starter, marshalls, beverage cart that we only saw once, on the 10 th Hole and she to,d us she was now done for the day. We had planned on having dinner at Velocity but the GPS said they were closing soon so decided to just head home.

5 star experience on a 4 star course. My wife and I played the course while on a trip to the Island and were hugely impressed with all of the facilities. The Pro Shop is great, the driving range and the amenities are second to none and the carts are first rate. The course conditioning is as good as any I have ever experienced but that being said, I found the actual layout a bit pedantic.. I think they have done the best they can with the land that they have but the course is a bit short and has a lot of back and forth holes. Would I play it again? You Bet. Definitely worth a look.

We went there this July on our golf trail cards. I can’t say enough about the service. I didn’t get his name of the nice ‘bald’ headed young fella that checked us in but he was just outstanding. We felt like real VIP’s the way he treated us - thanks again. He is so proud of this place. Got shown all their hi tech golf range stuff where you can rent out cubicles that look like ur in a bowling alley, only u r golfing. You can have everything, from having all your shots analyzed to computer golfing Pebble Beach.... many options. The course itself... fairways are like hitting off of carpet, the layout beautiful, especially the front 9... Nicest course on VI right now If u get the chance, go check it out ????❤️

A great golf facility that caters to a lot of different golfers. It is a nice casual atmosphere but with pristine conditions and great practice facility. All the changes are beautiful and make this a top notch facility. Course has an interesting layout but never get gimmicky as it was the while time. Greens are best I have played this year and it really shows that a course does not have to be long to present a challenge. The staff are all amazing and very accommodating. They were all willing to have nice conversations and help with anything needed. This place is lots of fun and I will come back. Highly recommend to play any chance you get.
