Here you have all the opinions of people like you who are using the services and products of The Bridges at Tillsonburg (Golf) in the area of Cambridge (Canada).
Nowadays the firm gets a score of 4.3 out of 5 and the score has been calculated on 127 reviews.
As you can see its rating is quite high, and it's founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we may conclude that the evaluation is very accurate. If many people have bothered to evaluate when they are satisfied, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to give evaluations when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Golf is included in the category of Public golf course.
Only got to play 7 holes bc of rain but what I saw I really enjoyed the course and the speeds of the greens, will definitely ply 18 next time
The Bridges at Tillsonburg is definitely a premier golf course. It has a good mix of easier, traditional style holes, and very challenging modern holes. The restaurant has amazing food and this is by far the best patio in the area!
Great course, very well maintained
Great Golf Course. The Greens and Staff are incredible. Doug Ford is a complete lunatic for closing golf courses. Hats off to the golf club for being a contrarian and standing up to them Ford Administration. I suggest setting a GoFundMe page. The entire country will finance the entire legal procedure.
Trash for trash. Hot spot for anti-maskers and the covidiot community. Management is working hard to provide a sickening experience. Would not recommend as place of work.
Love this course, so scenic and perfect combination of hole challenges!
I love the challenging holes at the Bridges. Course is in good shape and has really matured.
Poor attitude
Best course ever.
Great service, course is in top condition every week. Always enjoy Men’s League there or just a quick round when I can. The scenery is just wonderful!
Thank you for fighting for freedom!
Great course in great shape! Love the unique holes and layouts.
Well kept Coarse
Lots of fun! Thank God for best ball scrambling... And Geese to aim a!
Can't say much about the golf course but the area is well kept and in good condition. Great place to hold company events.
Beautiful course to get some exercise while having fun :) Thank you
Nice avg course
Hit em with the max fine Dougie.
Nice course with a lot of different challenges. A good variety of holes which makes a course more enjoyable. Greens rolled well although on the slower side due to playing in the morning. Afternoon play would make things play differently. I always enjoy playing here.
I wish that other courses in the province would follow the owner's of this golf course and open. We all know it was a very bad decision to close golf courses, tennis courts where players are social distancing at the best of times. Hats off to the owner's of the Bridges at Tillsonburg for speaking out. The support me and my friends from Niagara will forward to the owner's is we will make a tribute trip to your town to play your golf course. Thank you for standing up......
Amazing course at great rates...been playing here for many, many years, and always will :)
Beautiful course! Lots of natural features.
to bad I live two hours away
100% support their defiance of the arbitrary lockdown measures. If only everyone else would follow by example.
This place has a beautiful patio and a good selection of beers. The food menu is very disappointing. My husband and I thought we would get more upscale food, but it was normal generic bar food. This is a shame because it is such a beautiful place and has so much potential. An upscale bar menu would attract more people in town and people would stay longer.
Surprisingly challenging. Great course condition. Very welcoming members.
With a 10m fine on the table it's not about money. It's about logic. And people's sanity. Good on ya!!! Great job guys n gals!! Fouuuuuuuur!!!!!!
Amazing place, excellent service...best of the best
Great spot. The driving range is limited, but the course is great.
I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this course. Every hole here offers a variety of ways to play them and really makes you think about your shots. The course is really well groomed and very picturesque. Nice new putting green near the 1st tee and a driving range if you have time to warm up. Terrific customer service. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. It's a bit of a jaunt from London but well worth the drive. I'm already looking forward to my return visit.
Thank you for opening during the pandemic and standing up for all golfers, kudos!
It is encouraging to see that there is a business that realizes that the lockdown has nothing to do with public safety.
Interesting course. Good value. Bad green.
Awesome course
Completely unsafe!
Nice course, played early spring and still in great condition
Great course, thanks for staying open!
Great course, great staff, good prices
Best golf course I’ve been to!
wonderful course and great food, keep up the great work!
Took me right where I wanted to go.
Too bad that google reviews have become political. At least two reviews have had nothing to do with golf, but have been in support of the actions taken by The Bridges to reopen during the lockdown. I guess there is room for another perspective on it: I love this beautiful course. It is one of the things that drew me to buy a home in Tillsonburg, and I agree that golf is safe, and that the government probably got it wrong by shutting down golf. But, we are all in this covid mess together. Breaking ranks does not get us out if it sooner. The owners of The Bridges obviously disagree with the government's decision, as does every other golf course owner, but it is everyone's responsibility to obey the law. Golf course owners across the province are working hard, lobbying the government to overturn the golf lockdown. That is the correct way to create change in our society. The actions taken at The Bridges to reopen is doing nothing to help this effort. For every golfer applauding the actions of The Bridges, there are many, many others remaining silent (never a strength of mine), and choosing not to play, but to support the law. When golf reopens, I wonder how many of the silent majority will be spending their golf dollars elsewhere?
I really like this course very well kept. Always enjoy an 18 hole round here very friendly staff too
The course was in terrible shape, front 9 greens were some of the worst I've ever putted on. If they put a little more effort into the condition of the front nine I could play it again. I wouldn't recommend playing here unless you get the round for free from somebody. If it wasn't for the back nine greens being in better condition I would be giving it one star.
Thanks for staying open safely!
Worst 18 hole course I ever played. Greens are stupid fast rough is 3 inches long at the fringe and Easily 4 inches in the long. Really hard to hit out of. The cart that we rented had no brakes. And the fairways are to thin, about 30-35 feet max.
Very peaceful trails, nice lawns, I even encountered a fox! Very interesting place
I would never play at a course that defied the law, and put many at risk at this time. I can't camp, I can't canoe or kayak, I choose to help rather than make things worse. So irresponsible and ignorant. Hoping that some of your clients apply for a refund or just never return.
Very pleasant walk today.
awesome for sliding
Ambiance always friendly! Vasco's food always amazing! Love it there ! Awesome service!????????????
The front 8 is an intermediate challenge but once you cross under the highway the difficulty moves up a notch. The 17th is one of the most challenging I've played anywhere. The course is in nice shape with paved cart paths and nice rolling greens. Not offering a turn back to the clubhouse makes for an unusual and inconvenient layout. The 9th through 17th side of the course is newer and offers a more scenic and less traditional layout. Watch out for hikers sharing the cart paths. Wouldn't recommend trying to walk this one. Overall a good course to try if you're up for a challenge and looking for something out of the ordinary.
Beautiful course and amenities, bar cart could definitely be more consistent, especially on really hot days
Disgusting that you are so greedy that you will illegally open during a stay at home order from our government! I will never golf here again. I am thoroughly embarrassed that a golf course in Ontario would be so desperate.
Great course very challenging, great shape, tricky greens.
Great course! Staff is always extremely pleasant and helpful! The patio is the best in Tillsonburg! Highly recommended!
Went there for a Christmas party. Actually second Christmas party held at the Bridges. Nice and clean. Staff are friendly.
Great golf course .very challenging.
Great Ltl Course....Conditions of course.4.5....Tee boxes great shape, fairways mint, greens roll true...only reason for 4.5 sandy greens but that's just a minor thing. Will support this course and it's great staff as long as I can. Driving from GTA a bit of a trip but 100% well worth it. Prices are tremendously fair....Bravo and thank you for having the balls to STAND UP FOR OUR FREEDOMS.
THIS PLACE ROCKS ????????????????
Beautiful course, I've played there many times and have always been impressed with the maintenance and condition of the course!
To all you maskers and those who hate freedom and are upset this course is open, don't be jealous because you don't know how to play golf or probably even know how to spell the word. For the rest of us who love freedom, we'll just keep enjoying life at this great golf course.
Thank you for staying open and providing for your community! Would love to play a round when I'm in the area next.
Opening up your golf course against provincial lockdown rules when everyone else is playing nice? Oh I don't think so! Manage this course properly, or someone else will!
Stay closed, protect your community!
Great place to go get your daily exercise and Vitamin D!
It's been a while but it's a great golf course
Hats off to the Owners for defying these draconian lock down orders and reopening your golf course. Your leadership and courage is an inspiration to “We The People” of this great Province & great Nation. Thank you ????
Nice facilities. Would go back.
Nice course, well maintained, tricky greens, some difficult tee shots. One thing though, played it for the first time on "Green Keepers Revenge Day" which meant 18 pins that were just missing the windmill... Not fun. I can only hope that they don't use those ridiculous positions on any other day. I'll try it again, but not on the last Monday of September.
operating illegally - safety concerns
if i am a golfer will i be ticketed or arrested? Doug Ford must be removed from government.
Awesome place, great management. Keep it up!
Great that they opened defying illegal orders. For those that hate freedom (all the maskers), stay home. That's still a fundamental freedom you have in this country - for now. I commend this golf course for their courage and look forward to a round this weekend.
Front 9 is solid. Back 9 is a a little much. Very challenging. If it's your first time playing get the book with the hole layout. It's hard to predict some of the layouts.
The course is very well kept and the staff were very courteous and helpful.
Thanks for staying open, very nice and well maintained course
Ignores public health orders and probably wouldn't yell fore
I like the course very different from other course, I enjoyed it.
Poorly maintained and ever poorer safety standards as driving by recently they were still open and defying the Ontario lockdown. Shows how little they care about their staff and customers safety and health. We will not be returning to this course.
Not a safe course with respect to protocol.
Beautiful walking trails and a Great course.
Fantastic course! Clubhouse staff very friendly and helpful. In beautiful condition. Fairways have incredible grass density and the rough is nice and Lush which challenges your game if you're not in the Fairway. Tee blocks and greens are immaculate and the greens are quite fast and challenging which I love! Some really interesting holes. A very interesting layout with a few elevation changes. The 260 yard Par Four on the back is a great hole, and the 535 yard par 5 is an awesome hole! Tough, tough, tough. I'll definitely be back.
Beautiful ????
My fav walk in Tillsonburg. From Coronation Park through the golf course it's a great 5km walk on the Trans Canada Trail!
Great little course with some character
Thanks for letting us use your hill. We had a great Christmas vacation sledding at The Bridges.
Amazing golf course ! Played 18 holes today ???????? Best course in all of London :)
I had a lot of fun playing this course. Very picturesque, especially along the river.
According to the NGCOA (National Golf Course Owner’s Association of Canada), “in 2020 alone there were well over 20 Million rounds of golf played by over 1.8 Million golfers in Ontario with ZERO known cases of Covid transmission at a golf course. The data is clear: •Golf is safe. •Golf is naturally aligned to physical distancing. •Golf has a clear set of well established, very safe protocols. •Golf has important health benefits - the studies are clear about golf – it is good for your heart, it relieves stress, and it can improve your mental health. •And many recent articles from doctors across the province indicate that the science is clear … outdoor transmission is extremely rare.” Thank you for staying open!
Hands down favourite place to play around here. A fair priced, nicely maintained, challenging 18 hole course.
Well Done. Great course, and the owners stand up for what is RIGHT. Everyone needs to follow suit. Open your businesses and get to work.
Course is good. Some course repair work was underway during our visit. But still enjoyed the day
Always in good shape with great friendly staff
Awesome course and staff never had a bad time golfing or any event being held at The Bridges. The ownership team does an awesome job keep up the good work guys.
Course is in great shape from tee decks to greens. Fescue adds ambience. great service.
Best golfcourse around, well run with excellent staff !!
nice spot, good service. Drink selection is quite good
Great place that cares about its customers
Amazing place and amazing people. Best place to golf by far ????????
Very scenic, specially the back 9. Course was in good condition and not too busy.
A peaceful spot to enjoy nature
Very nice mature course. Good rates and friendly staff.
I have tried many golf courses around the world with more imposing buildings, more perfect fairways, and grander greens. Also on the downside they call it 'The Bridges' because several roads cross over or near by. Yet no other that I have tried offers such an extraordinarily excellent combination of scenic beauty, and unusual challenges, that lift 'The Bridges' into a category way above the norm. On a beautiful September day 'Extraordinary' fits it well. I will be back.
Way to Go! Great Course. Great Staff. Great Food. Highly Recommend!
Didn't even play here before just so proud of them for staying open and defying these preposterous and insane laws
Very nice coarse it's in very good condition.
Great course. Friendly staff!! Thank you!
Fantastic layout in my opinion
Opened during a stay at home order during a pandemic. 0 stars. So irresponsible.
Great golf course. Hoping a change of heart holds onto the history and grandkids can grow up on this course as I did 55 years ago.
Always found this place to be well kept and scenic to play. Food is great too.
Very well maintained course, well priced and great beer cart and club house staff.
Keep on keepin’ on.
Great course!
Beautiful course that has been extended to 18 holes. Love the difficulty.
Great course with a very challenging back nine.
The update to this course was really well done. The hole layout is a bit odd, (9 doesn't come into the clubhouse) so if you're looking at stopping in half way though check with the pro shop about the best time to do it.
Great Course and good pricing. Was pleasantly surprised with this course, i play a great deal of golf and try to play different courses all the time and i would definitely return to Bridges of Tillsonburg. Staff were friendly, carts had GPS's and the course was in great shape. Small greens and a bit shorter of a course but pace of the greens were amazing and never had any slow downs. I had two foursomes of friends go out back to back and we didnt hold anyone up and never caught up to the people in front of us. 10/10
Great place, awesome people!
Can’t stand this place, someone swiped my rangefinder here one time, back nine is bunk
Greedy?-I am guessing whoever is against The Bridges opening up is still receiving a pay chq. I can not imagine running a seasonal business in Ontario where the govt is making decisions on purely political reasons. Why was the Ontario's colour-coded COVID-19 prevention framework dropped to a Province Wide Shutdown? You bet it's Political. Kudos to you and your business!! I can only imagine how good it would feel crushing a ball down the center on the fairway.#gofundme4LegalCosts
Very scenic and challenging course
I love this place and the food. We had our wedding here and highly recommend the golf, meals or entertainment (when they have it).
I believe only way to stop these law breakers pull there liquor license as well as there business license for two years
Illegally opening during Covid lockdown. Disappointing, dangerous and dumb.
Beautiful course, you definitely get your money's worth here! There is good hole variety and great scenery, I would highly recommend!
Great round of golf!!
Beautiful course in great shape & a good deal!! Very friendly staff. Great food, especially the fries!! Will definitely come back.
Goes against public health orders and emergency reopening act, they only care about the $$$. Despite how you FEEL about the rules, they are there to lower the spread and protect the community, you don't get to choose what rules to follow. Shame on you. You've lost the business and respect of a lot of people in town.
Truly appreciate their customers, very amazing place and super awesome folks
Very scenic and beautiful golf course cart a must really hilly
Awesome challenging course. Would golf again if in the area. Lots of elevation changes and difficult holes.
Leaving this review for two reasons. Firstly, due to this being one of my favorite course in Ontario. It has an amazing and challenging collection of holes to play, all of which feature stunning scenery, well maintained landscaping and greens. Staff in all areas are top notch. And you simply cannot beat the value of a round here. But my second reasoning for leaving this review is in attempt to counter some of these people who are leaving negative reviews (who likely have never even played here) as a result of your defying of the COVID lockdown regulations. These people bashing your business for staying open should be ashamed of themselves. I applaud all of you who are keeping your course open through these pitiful government orders that are ruining peoples livelihoods and mental health, more than this virus would have done had these orders not been forced on the people of Ontario. I hope you all continue to stand strong. I am glad that there are still some people in this province who can stand up for what is right in such an amazing way that you all are proving to do.
Well I absolutely love going to Bridges.
Amazing staff and well maintained course great for all skill levels 10/10
Spontaneous trip to Tillsonburg today to visit family. Wanted a patio with relaxing atmosphere. Perfect spot here at The Bridges golf course. Friendly service, good food. Such a peaceful and relaxing spot!
