As you know, we don't usually bother to place tatings when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Golf is classified in the category of Public golf course.
Nice well-maintained driving range. Only downside is if you're not a member you have to go pick up your balls near the clubhouse then walk all the way to the north end of the range to the public area.
Not impressed. Sat 40 minutes with nobody going off on 1. Was told because we had to start on 10.... and 40 minutes later we tee'd off on 1. Another mistake by Golf North and a clubhouse manager that thinks he knows whats going on from his chair. At the end of the day nobody from GN cares because they have created a monopoly of all courses around here.
Home course so a little biased (full disclosure). Love it here. Course is well managed and well maintained. Patio is fantastic. Honestly nothing to complain about. Enjoy your round!
Always a pleasant experience at Rebel. Staff and facilities, excellent!
Wonderful course, very well designed, hard to book due to its popularity.
Course is alright . If you have celiac disease and want to eat on the 9th hole dont bother. They have nothing for ppl with celiac.
Range balls are horrible now
Interesting course layout. Lots of elevation changes. One of the best courses in the area.
Great friendly course but Marshall’s need to enforce pace of play on members - 5 1/2 hr round on a Tuesday afternoon allowing 2 open holes when course is fully backed up is never appropriate and very disrespectful to all other golfers.
Got a ranger pass. Twice drove 15 minutes to use it, range said it was open only for it to be closed. Most recently came at 6:59, dropped my clubs off at where you get the balls, walked inside and they told me no it closed at 7. What a waste.
Transitioning into a less physical sport made me curious about the game of golf. Upon inquiry, it had become apparent to me that Rebel Creek Golf Club was superb. After making arrangements with a friend to take a quick tour of Rebel Creek Golf Club, we came to realize the reviews and referels by friends were more or less precise. Brendan from administration was able to address all my golf query. I also had the liberty of speaking with the general manager and he enhanced our welcome with compliments. Al, the course Marshall was very informative about the course. Rebel Creek Golf Club is beyond measure and welcoming to all golf enthusiasts. “Mistakes are part of the game. It’s how well you recover from them, that’s the mark of a great player.” – Alice Cooper
A very nice course with a beautiful facility.staff is very friendly. Price is a little steep but well justified by the amazing conditions
Nice range, chipping and putting greens
This place is magical. We are so thrilled with our choice to get married at Rebel Creek. Despite the pandemic, they made sure the planning process was painless. Rebel Creek has an absolute STAR in Danielle their Hospitality Manager who oversees all the weddings. They make sure that all of your wedding dreams come true and are so easy to work with. Our guests had nothing but amazing things to say about the venue. The food was awesome, the space is gorgeous, their staff is amazing. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for their wedding venue!
Love this course
The course was in excellent condition, the staff were great, and the food was excellent. Perfect day out.
Attended a wedding here, the stuff is friendly, food was tasty.
We had our wedding here on Sept 4th 2021. First, Danielle is one of the best people we have ever worked with. Professional, responsive, and so organized. She made working with them an absolute pleasure. She also made sure we had beverages and food while taking photos - and that is just top notch. The location its self is spectacular. Beautiful scenery for photos, and the hall is lovely. Having a private bar, and beautiful outdoor space is such a bonus. And our favourite part - you are the only wedding. Our guests are still raving about how amazing the food here was. Highly recommend, and can't sign Danielle's praises enough!
Always a great time. Awesome staff and great food.
Great atmosphere
One of my favourite places to photograph weddings!! Great food, amazing staff, and beautiful scenery. Highly, Highly recommend.
This course is beautiful, and very well maintained. The greens were the fastest I have played all season and the staff and marshals were all extremely friendly adding to the appeal of the place. Depending on where you are coming from, it may seem like a bit of a drive...but it's definately worth it!!
Golf North ruined this course. Greens are absolute trash, they previously had decent range balls (taylormade), now they have beat up balls that feel like rocks. Golf north will end up selling the land at some point for a large profit.
Really great golf course within ten minutes drive from home
Wonderful first of 4 lessons for Girls Night Out. Great time, game changing for some, in such a great way! ⛳
This place is really great but can get very busy on weekends and some summer nights
Great course, we'll maintained.
Nice place for a round of golf. It's early so conditions were pretty good considering that.
Great course, lots of variety and well maintained. Good clubhouse too.
Great Course!!!
Rebel is amongst the best courses in the region. Great layout, well maintained, and a pretty nice clubhouse with a licensed patio overlooking the course.
Love the current conditions, greens are quick and in good shape. Staff are always amazing too and the meal on the patio the other day was fantastic too.
Fantastic golf course, guaranteed to provide you with more friendly rolls than any other course I've ever played on. Kept in very good condition and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommended.
Great Golf and Food amazing views and the Staff is great
Great golf course! Excellent food and friendly staff!
Enjoyed the course....greens a little gard for my liking...course in very good condition overall
Beautiful golf club with exceptional service!
Beautiful course
Great price and nice staff... Halfway house was open for call box on 9th tee.
Always a pleasure to play this course. Conditions pretty good. One tip when you play this course is to walk down the middle of the fairway to find the yardage markers. They are hard to find because the grass covers the markers. So if you are walking the course, find the yardage then go to your ball. For the green staff just a little weed whacking would help thnx..
Front 9 can definitely bring you the serenity and complacency. It's the back 9 that show you the true color of the course. If you can make a PAR at 18th hole, definitely deserve a beer for celebration!
Fantastic course. I was here 4 years ago and enjoyed this course. This time I brought my camera. The downhill first hole is picturesque. Lots of bunkering in this course. I thought 9 of 18 holes were gorgeous including holes 1, 9, 10 and 18. Great start and end to each 9.
Disapointing experience and I didn't even get to the course. Was looking to set up two tee times for a month in advance. We have a reunion with a group of friends (8 of us) in Kitchener and wanted to play here. I played a few years ago and course was in good shape. Was told there is no way to book that far in advance but could go online for 8 days out OR i could pay a non-refundable amount per golfer ($2 something) to book up to 14 days in advance. Can't believe the 'pre-planners' are being punished. Would love this to be a Golf North review but unfortunately it falls to Rebel.
Rebel Creek is the best place to do your wedding venue. I need to give a special shout out to Danielle and her amazing team, I couldn't ask for a perfect wedding reception. My wife and I didn't have to worry one bit about our guest, she exceeded our expectation. It will be a night my family, friends, my wife and I will never forget. Thank you ????
Fun but challenging course
Enjoyable and beauty of a course
It was nice place but the pro shop's guy was so terrible. I never want to see him again...
Great driving range, all grass tee boxes. $15 for a large bucket, wasnt too busy. The course is great too, we didn't happen to play today, but it's always in great shape and fairly long so that you'll get a chance to use all your clubs in your bag.
Great course Greens immaculate very fast . Fairways amazing !! Bunkers need some work no rakes due to Covid must play best course in the area !!!
Great staff! Greens in great shape.
Best course in the area
Beautiful course, lots of elevation change, very scenic. Would definitely recommend it!!!
Course is in excellent condition with very fast greens. Practice your putting speed before heading out.

Was there to watch my son in a long drive competition. Very well maintained, beautiful club house, and friendly staff.
Played yesterday. Greens freshly punched, basically unplayable. $5 discount. NO advance notice, when I booked on line on the courses website. Won't be back. Decent course otherwise.
Great. Awesome.super.
The course looks beautiful and the practice facilities are fantastic. The clubhouse is superb and the Pro Shop is well done. So you're wondering why this is a one-star review? I had a tee off time booked for 11:12 a.m. and showed up about 45 minutes early because I'm on vacation and I wanted to take my time warming up. So I checked in and grabbed a bucket of balls from the starter Shack and the starter asked me if I wanted to tee off about 20 minutes early with another group and I said no because I was on vacation and I didn't want to rush out on to the tee. At the time I already had another with me but it turns out that two of their friends showed up and they wanted to play together so they moved back about a half an hour and I ended up being alone. So after I'm all warmed up I go to the First Tee whereupon the starter tells me that I can can't play alone and he's not sending me off alone. This was in spite of the fact that the group ahead of me had already gone off and were halfway down Fairway and there was nobody standing on the First Tee. He wants me to wait a half an hour to go off behind three more foursomes in spite of the fact that I paid for an 11:12 tee time and I was ready to go at 11:12 and I was the only one on the tee at 11:12. So I parked the cart and took my clubs and went back to the pro shop for a refund steaming mad. The girl behind the counter was very nice and said that she had overruled him and I could tee off by myself but by that time my time had already passed and I was too pissed off so I just left and book the time at Savannah Golf Links instead. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had in 40 Years of golf and interacting with a starter or the staff at a golf club. The starter was a complete ass and his attitude is horrendous. I completely understand trying to keep the people on the course organized but there were only three groups after me and then a big space until the next tee time was booked. It's not my problem that the two people that I had originally been grouped with had turned into a foursome and I ended up alone. You would think that if push comes to shove they would just send the paying customer out by himself but I guess that's not how it works at Rebel Creek Golf.
Beautiful. Staff and food was really awesome!
Reopened and the entire course was in amazing shape!
This is an excellent course! Great elevation changes, holes are interesting and greens are lightning quick. Would be a 5 star course but the downside is the pace of play is far too slow! Have played 3 times and a round has averaged 5 hours, absolutely unacceptable! Any other course I would never play again, but just loved the course. Fix pace of play, it's ridiculously slow!!!
Was there to watch my son in a long drive competition. Very well maintained, beautiful club house, and friendly staff.
the staff at Rebel Creek are great ,anytime i go there to use the range or to buy something i get treated really great ,always very friendly and helpful
We just performed at a wedding ceremony at Rebel Creek Golf club, and everything was fantastic. Our string duo, trio and quartet is looking forward to performing here in the future.
One of my favourite courses in the KW area. The routing is fantastic with a downhill start and uphill finish on both 9’s. It’s very walkable with only two holes being an uphill challenge. The course is usually in mint condition. Fast and large greens, great fairways, rough isn’t super difficult. There is a great driving range and practice area. So much fun to warm up a bit before the round. 2021 Season Update: Course is in awesome shape, Front 9 was only open. Played in mid-March and the greens were rolling smooth.
Challenging course, great food.
Course is in great shape.Greens have been sanded run true. Very few leafs on fairways
Great course and in excellent condition
Amazing. Best in waterloo/kitchener
Golf course was in good shape but public players shouldn't be able to tee off before 8 there to slow
Dealing with Frank has been like watching a dog poop a peach seed! Painfully!
Really nice course, well groomed. Wide fairways, quick greens.
Course was in decent shape, except for the greens. They were in rough shape. It looks like no one is fixing their ball marks. Disappointing the course doesn't do anything to fix it, since it is a $50 walk.
This week I was at the course and there was a frost delay. The starter Marshall was so incredibly disrespectful and senile. Was so unreasonable and allowed all of the members to be bumped ahead of our start time because we were “non members”. Also had a nice experience with the members who threatened our group because we hit up on them one time. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a course. Not to mention the conditions and maintenance of the course have gone way down hill. Do not golf here.
It's one of the best local courses. It is in good condition. The greens are in good condition. Could use some sand in the bunkers.
went there mid day, range was busy but managed to find a spot. looking forward to coming back and playing the course.
Nice "executive " style course. Best practice facilities in the area.
The course itself is fantastic. The kids working...not so much. Tried to order the dinner special at the 18th hole, like the sign posted. Got rerouted to 5 different people. Only to get told we need to come in to order. Go in to order, get told it will take an hour. Why promote calling ahead when no one will help you. Clearly they didn't care.
Best course in the region, hands down
Well organized. Staff was very nice, very polite. Cart was excellant. Course very well cared for. Highly recommend this course
Great course! Very well maintained and good for low and high handicaps.
Course is in great shape!
The food is incredible!
We have golfed here for almost 12 years and truly appreciate the design of this course. I decided with my wife to golf 18 holes and found the staff at the pro shop, starter and in the restaurant to be sincerely friendly and accommodating. The fairways are in rough shape from multiple holes not repaired from previous golfers. The greens must of recently been air rated and the balls would bounce around changing direction; the greens also along the edge had been cut and the dead grass clippings prevented you from any bump and run shots. The fringe also look unkeep and I was surprise at how many weeds were growing and we had to lift and place when the balls ended up on them. The restaurant was clean along with the clubhouse but the food was disappointing. The poppers were wet with moisture—chicken fingers over cooked along with the ceasar salad being primarily romaine hearts that looked a few days old. My expectations with Rebel Creek are lowered with Golf North taking it over and I understand their need to make a profit and it is not a private course-but we figured with the golf fees, drinks when playing and dinner the cost was just over $300. It was a learning experience and after this review I am calling the group which was to come from out of town to play here that we need to go to another course.
We went on Friday for their fish fry 2 pieces of battered cod with fries delicious. Friday night has entertainment 5:30pm to 8pm
Course is in good shape
It looks like a beautiful course however the pro shop manager was a nightmare. Zero on customer service. There was Misunderstanding on our booking from Tri city golf and he would not compromise in any way. We drove from London to golf here and left to go somewhere where our business is appreciated. In a day and age where customer service is key this kid just does not get it. Highly unlikely we will ever come back here again and will let my 2000 plus Facebook friends know as well Cheers
practice facility is excellent with a driving range, chipping and putting area. Definately suggest morning or evening for the driving range if you are looking to work on accuracy shots. The driving range can see a lot of cross wind from left to right in the afternoon. The teeing surface is immaculate, the staff are equivalent to a private course, and the course is an interesting track, with many interesting holes. I have screwed up going to the wrong tee/hole after leaving a green, so pay attention to the directions..lol. I think it was somewhere between hole 5-7 that got me. A definate must is the 19th hole, island green......take all your old golf balls and try and beat your playing partner.
Beautiful course and well maintained I would highly recommend
Course was in pretty good shape. Some greens could have used some TLC, but a nice round on a hot day. And ended with a close one on the 19th :)
Very nice course
Excellent course. The only downside - lots of creeks.
Fantastic course. In great condition. Can't wait to play it again.
Beautiful facility with great natural features. Super friendly staff and welcoming for beginners. Upscale decor and well kept facilities. Super clean.
Great service great food. It's a great spot to go for a lunch. The menu is a little bit light at the moment, they don't have chicken wings which is a bit of a disappointment. The food they do have is always great though.
Great golf course, nestled in the rolling hills just outside of Kitchener Waterloo. Challenging course, but tonnes of fun. Hole 9 just goes forever. Great beer cart service, food is great, all around great experience.
Challenging course nice community of golfers here. Friendly staff. Nice fairways and greens
Reallg great course and friendly staff. I always appreciate a friendly greeter, pro shop and servers. Well maintained course and really fun. Especially the 19th hole ????
Excellent wedding venue.
One of my favorite courses in KW
