Very nice looking place. Friendly staff and good sims. We did however waste almost 20 min of our 2 hour limit getting the Sim set up. Staff didn't seem to know how to work it. It felt like they presumed that we knew how the software worked. As a result, we could not finish the round. Food was great though.

Nice environment, very clean and the service was good. Subtracting a star as two of the three sims we had were broken in some fashion. Either the moving floor was not functional or the auto tee was not working on one side. A shame as those items are selling points for playing here!

Best golf simulator system I've tried, but with that comes a steep price tag. It's one of the more expensive rates around, but experience is worth it. The readings are very accurate and they have an auto tee feature for those who don't like bending! I haven't tried the food, but they have a decent selection. Definitely worth a try!

The new technology they have with the moving platform as well as the simulated sand/rough areas is awesome! Very impressed and would highly recommend! The truffle Fries are great too!

Paid for the VIP room and spent most of the time walking back and forth to get staff due to machine failing for left handed players. Was excited to go but disappointed with the experience. Btw take your own clubs $15 to rent a set for 1hr! Owch

I have been to this location approximately 5 or 6 times now. The serving staff is pleasant, and the facilities are for the most part quality (other than the occasional issues with the turf falling off, balls being jammed and cameras not picking up the ball in booth 1). However last visit, after a 5 hour booking, when we notified the manager - Steve - of some issues he promptly told our group that if we don't like it we should go somewhere else. I was pretty unimpressed by how he treated us. We will be taking his advice and going elsewhere moving forward.

FINALLY!!!!! A golf sim that is actually great! I have played most of the sims out there and I always go home disappointed for more reasons than just the sub par technology (not the good sub par either). GolfPlay is the place that has broken the mould of the dark and dingy golf sims that are everywhere. I can get great food in a great atmosphere and play golf on the best simulator out there. The automatic ball teeing actually saves time and money while playing. No more hunting for balls under the screen or behind couches, or being the only guy that returns some balls to the tee for other people in your group. The hydraulic tee box was amazing and just adds another level of realism. As far as pricing goes, I have paid $50+/hr. on sims out here in Calgary that are absolute rubbish, so I feel the pricing is totally fair (I expect a discount for that plug). I just hope that this place ends up in Calgary and all across Canada for that matter! The staff and the owners are fantastic and are the real reason I’ll be back. I have downloaded the GolfPlay app which tracks my stats which is a cool feature. I look forward to joining the league and booking our corporate party some day at your Calgary location ;) hint hint. Booked two hours 8-10 PM. And was kicked out right at 10PM without being able to hit one last shot. (Due do CoVid restrictions) and no one could be in the building after 10PM. As we were leaving, there was a group of 4 people heading in to play golf after hours.. But we were not able to hit one last shot because we had to leave. Also spent over $200.00. What covid restrictions are being followed if you are allowing people in after 10PM?

I recently went to Golf Play for the first time. The atmosphere is by far the best in town and not to mention the technology the owners invested in is by far the best I have experienced yet. When I arrived I was informed that work was scheduled to be done on the simulator I booked. Jace hooked me up and put me in the VIP simulator at not additional cost to make up for the overlap in scheduling. I was pleasantly surprised by this and my first experience at Golf Play was awesome! I definitely recommend Golf Play to anyone looking for the best golf simulator in the tri cities. The food is killer also. Keep up the excellent work guys!

Went for a date night last night with my husband. The golf bays are nice with leather couches. Full bar and a wood fired pizza Oven. Takes about 1-5-2 hours to do 18 holes. Lots of courses to choose from. They are doing a great job with covid precautions as well. Fun time!

Went with a few friends to this great facility. We used the VIP room and had a great time. The craft beer was awesome 'Rhythm and Brews' and the wood fried pizza was one of the best pizza's i ever had. The place is clean and the technology is top notch. Steve (the owner) took time to see if we were being treated good and that we were enjoying ourselves. We will all be back to work out our swing issues and enjoy this great venue.

First visit today, and wont be my last. As accurate ( knowing my less than consistent golf swing ) sims as I've every played. Good value as we played a four ball. Although I didn't partake ( as I'd already eaten) food our group ordered looked good too. Any plans to open up a London location? Save me a drive & would be a great choice in a city with loads of golf courses and golfers looking for somewhere to play when they can't get out doors.

Atmosphere was nice, staff were friendly and helpful, however we play a lot of simulator golf in the area over the winter and the golf did not feel up to our standards for the price. The simulator felt unnecessarily technical and on our second hole it broke, leading to a 20-25 minute delay. We were provided an additional 15 minutes at the end, but that still resulted in us losing 5-10 and not being able to finish our round as a result. You are also forced to use their provided golf balls, a lot of which were cracked, scuffed or had torn covers. It also causes the distances to be very inconsistent because each ball reacts very different (I noticed a 20 yard variance for irons). Finally, you seem to lose close to 15 or 20 minutes due to the swing plate adjusting and waiting for the cameras to pick up the ball before every shot. Also, they force you out 5 minutes before your time ends to get ready for then next group. This results in wasted time that you end up paying for because you need to book extra time to account for it. Also the swing plate only felt like it became a factor once during our round. If you are looking for a spot to hang out and relax and the golf is an afterthought, this may be a good option. If you focus on the golf, maybe not.

So after no having golfed in 10 plus years, three of us thought we would give Golfplay a try. This is a simultion golf establishment that also has drinks and food. 10 plus screens and a huge selection of courses and practice programs. During the week up until 4 pm i believe, the rate is 45 dollars an hour. NOT PER PERSON. So 4 people would pzy like 11 and change to play for an hour. The simiulator is advanced enough that it tilts, angles etc as if you were on a real course. Tee off has an automatic ball setup. Location is in a small strip mall behind Wendys on HWY 8 near the 401 in Cambridge, ON. In regards to how well I played, lets just say i am taking up Bingo instead.

PHENOMENAL!!!! I don’t play Golf, but everyone that was playing was very impressed and really enjoyed themselves. I have to tell you I do feel badly for 2 things. I was so busy with making sure my baby was as content through the 3 hrs and everyone was having fun, I didn’t catch/remember the gentleman’s name that was so wonderfully attentive to our group. He is an AMAZING employee! So polite, always very prompt, he made us feel like he was our #1 priority in the entire building. If I try to think of anything extra he could have done to go above and beyond... I can’t think of one thing. Our group came back to our house after GolfPlay and even some of them brought up the topic of his service and excellence. A building and computers can only take an experience so far, it’s the personal touch and the service provided that will keep people coming back time and time again. I can’t say enough about him! #2 problem, I paid for everyone and that wiped out my “Peter’s Birthday budget” so I could not tip our server nearly what he deserved. I thought of that all night and all morning. So if you can go ahead and give him a big raise or bonus, that would set my mind at ease lol! I forgot to mention how everyone and myself was blown away by your food! When you go to a facility where the focus is more the physical activity and not on the food, you kind of think you’re going to be served grocery store, pre made food warmed up. The food we had was exceptional!!!! You have a Golf facility with GOURMET PIZZA!!! This was also discussed at our house later that evening. I truly don’t know what more your team could have done to make the three house more special! The only thing I needed was a change table in the bathroom to change my daughters diaper. That was the only item missing. However, I also recognize that having a 9month old baby in your building likely wasn’t on your mind and your target audience when constructing the building. So I understand that. Thank you sooo much! Peter was surprised and everyone was pleasantly surprised with your team and facility! It was great working with you! I will recommend your place to anyone that needs an idea for a party! Denise

Had a great time. Went with my brother, we took our dad for his birthday. It's was all our first time there but it didn't take long to get a feel for the simulator. We were very impressed with how it worked and how accurate it was as well ( it knew my patented slice...haha). We only got 17 holes in during 3 hours but we did a bunch of practice shots "at the driving range" and had the staff explain how things worked so had we been familiar with it we easily would have finished the round. Stayed for food after which was really good. Spicy BBQ pizza, Cajun fries and a tomato goat cheese dip I believe it was were all good and came out fairly quick too. Overall I highly recommend golf play, we started at 10:00am and after the round and food we left by 2:30 so a great way to spend a rainy day golfing with friends!

Went there for a party on a weekday when it’s not busy. Our food took more than an hour to arrive and we ended up packing them away. Also, it may be good to put it under the FAQ and to remind your customers that club rentals would cost a fair bit. Overall, not a good experience. Would not recommend.

We took our staff here this past Friday I really didn't know what to expect as I am not much of a golfer. As soon as I walked in, I was really impressed with the atmosphere and the staff were very welcoming. Our staff loved it! It is a bit of a learning curve of course, but very easy to catch on. The food was delivered in good time and was good...pub food. We will be returning for another round!

One star for the owner who kicked us out before our time was up. Paid full price, tipped heavily to the bartender who served us (much deserved) and waited fifteen mins for the group before us to leave. Then was rushed off by Steve so he and his girls could get on the simulator. Then he decided to state after we payed that "there are more golf simulators nearby to go to if we find that unfair." Nice. First time i ever commented and gave a one star, well done.
