Doon valley, fun course with the right amount of challenge for newer and and experienced golfers. Longer rough should be groumed better And the LARGE HILL you have to walk up at the end of 9 holes is Horrible. Even the carts have a hard time

Best place to eat breakfast or lunch! Fantastic prices and great food. We bike on the bike trail along the Grand River from Galt Cambridge every Sat am, over the 401 walking bridge, and we are there. Staff is wonderful!

The 9 hole course is definitely a classic, with fairly wide fairways and forgiving rough on either side. There is a lack of water features until the last hole, but the scenery is still nice. Overall will definitely be repeating the experience!

The 18 hole is taken care of fairly nicely and and the course itself is pretty good but the service could definitely be better, it is one of the only courses that I have had a Marshall watch us play a hole and then tell us that we were slow. Also very expensive, over $200 four two juniors and 2 adults. Overall it is a decent course but could use some improvements.

Used to play this course a few times a year. Usually for best ball tournaments. Moved away and recently moved back. Was there for best ball tourney last month. First time playing new holes on South side of 401. Really like them. In addition to having a decent course, the staff here are pretty awesome.

The is a City of Kitchener golf course. The course gets quite busy during the summer as it is a value priced facility. There is a club house with food, drinks and gear.

Very nice mature coarse here right off the 401. 36 home courses with driving range and pitch and out plenty of options. Food is good too if you wanted to grab lunch or dinner. Some holes very forging others are challenging so good balance for all levels.

Well kept fairways and greens. An interesting split since putting the very back nine in. The very back nine has a few holes that are challenging but most are wide open and just up and down. The old back nine still had some nice tricky spots that will challenge you. As most courses now they are up there in price. There are much nicer courses farther away for around the same price.

A very nice course, with great service and lots of help and staff to assist you in any way. The food is great, with great value, and and courses are fun and engaging. A great place to practice, or compete. Amazing location, and readily biked if you live near the Walter Bean trail. Awesome.

The nine hole Classic is my favourite City of Kitchener course. Conditions are generally fair to good, though be prepared to fix a few extra ball marks each green. The pitch and putt course is also a great place to practice one's short game.

I only got to use the practice facilities. But there pretty poor condition. Since the expanded the course an added the new holes. Absolutely butcher'd a classic course that just needed a upgrade. Go play rockway instead.

Great course! Good quality for the money, very well kept and the staff are very friendly. Has cart service when it’s busy including during the week. Pro shop is well stocked and managed. Offers a 9 hole and an 18 hole course with walking or riding as options. Totally worth a visit!! Can’t wait to play there again this year.

Great course! For future new golfers, keep in mind that the 9-hole course is completely different from the 18-hole course. Also, the 9-hole course is much more forgiving than the 18-hole course! Both are fun!

First day of the season.... I paid $300 for 4 people. It was my friends first time Going and he had the worst experience ever! We got 18 hole, the team beind us wasn't even in view(probably Hole 16) they came and yelled at us to speed it up csuse he wasn't hitting the best shots. It's because clubs like this exist that people don't golf more! Worst golf day I've ever had. Will never go again. Won't ever tell anyone to golf here

First course I’ve ever played that puts a cap on the amount of holes you can play when paying a twilight fee. I was advised it’s 18 holes max or you have to pay another full “twilight fee” for additional holes. Very misleading

Love the classic 9 here and with twilight starting at 11 on Tuesdays $24 to walk it isn't bad at all! Took my 4 year old son to the Pitch and Putt course. He loved it! Holes range from 50-70 yards. Great to help beginners learn the game.

Course is well maintained and reasonably priced. Got told on the 6th hole that we had 1 hour until the power carts were due back (would have been nice to know at time of purchase) then cart lost power at the 12th hole, managed to drive it straight till the 17 before it finally died. Don't think I'll spend my money here again.

My friends and I had an absolutely terrible experience here. The staff harassed us and were extremely unaccommodating before our tee off. Less than 10 minutes into our game we were approached by a staff member who began to verbally harass us without provocation. His demeanour was extremely condescending and he made it clear he wanted us gone from the course despite us having done nothing wrong. We left the course immediately afterwards and we won’t be returning.

Will Not Golf Here Again!!! Played the course a few days ago on July 25th, and have played there many times before. Unfortunately I think they changed marshals and they are all grumpy old men that are short tempered and very rude. Our cart also ran out of battery which I have never had happen in my 20 years of playing golf. Another irritating thing was our group was in need of a playoff hole so after the 18 we went to play the first hole on the 9 hole course, mind you it is 8 pm and nobody is teeing off there. Marshall's rushed over and confronted us like we stole something. Very rude and disrespectful, these guys should get some sort of customer service training before being hired.

I would give it a 3.5. We played the Classic 9 hole course. What I enjoyed were the holes along the grand river. Especially the 4th hole par 3 with the river on the right side of the green. How to improve this course...firstly and most easily clean up and maintain the bunkers. Maybe due to covid the course is not touching them. Secondly, it would be fantastic if the city could clear many of the trees and bushes blocking the view of the river. That would be incredible!! I did not enjoy the holes along the 401. Very loud with the traffic continuously driving by.

The course was in great shape. However there was nothing opened on the course until after 15 holes. We were not notified that this would be the case when we checked in. This impacted our experience as everyone commented on this and when we saw the Marshall he explained that we should complain to the pro shop.

Great course to play with a cart. BEWARE WALKERS. This is by far the worst walking course I have ever played for the course length. The 9th hole ends about as far from the clubhouse as possible. There is a large 200M+ walk in between 5 different holes. I had to buy new soft cleats after playing this course 4 times this year as most of this walk is on concrete. It is very beautiful and scenic with most of the holes being quite long. Play is much faster in the morning and slows to a crawl by mid-late afternoon. Can't beat the value though @ $25.50 for a twilight walking round.

A BIG THANK YOU TO Pushlinch Lake Golf course for taking us last minute and were booked solid. We booked a 10:40am Tee Time in advance, at Doon Valley, for 3 people for Friday September 11, 2020. We brought 4th person to complete the foursome and when we arrived we we're refused because we originally only booked for 3 people. So this golf course must be making lots of money to turn away three paying customers because of an addition. My father was very upset as were my brother and I. My brother and I drove in from Mississauga and our father along with the 4th person from Tillsonburg. This is absolutely horrific customer service and will never golf there even if they were the only course around. Does not matter because they can afford to turn customers away.

"Covid" rules are a joke. Brought one golf bag with 2 sets of clubs, brother and I from same household. Were not allowed to share clubs.

Worst course in the region by far. The staff doesn't know their own policies, you gget different answers depending on who you ask. Most of the course is in the middle of nowhere with no halfway house and no beverage cart. You cant have a power cart in the afternoon because they are too lazy to clean it. Just terrible
