Driving range is open with reservations but it wasn't too busy on Monday morning. It's clean and bright but you'll have to wear the mask at all times. You'll also need to buy a 3$ tee if you want to hit Driver. Cost 23$ for my wife and I for 1 stall for 1 hour and 1 tee.

I often golf at Fox Hollow with my husband. Great course and an excellent value. Staff is friendly. Course is always in good shape. Always look forward to their restaurant and patio. Real nice variety of holes. I play in a Ladies League at different courses around the city....sure wish that Fox Hollow was one of our courses

Great course in the city. Reasonable pricing on green fees, and a central location Fox Hollow has a lot going for it. The restaurant is decent with a nice patio. Only downside of it being central is that the course has a lot of noise. From the nearby airport, train track, nearby earth movers, and deerfoot the course is far from quiet. Trees are also scarce, but the greens and course are always in good shape. Good place to practice driving the ball straight, since many of the holes are quite narrow... Fore!

Played an evening 9 tonight and had a great time. Course was well manicured and the staff was friendly. Would have been a 5 star but as we finished our round we had a staff member washing carts spray us with a hose as we parked to finish our round. After saying “hey I think you’re spraying us” he responded with “must have been some residual” and continued to spray us with the hose. It was honestly almost funny how intentional it seemed. Not typically one to write a review and don’t want to sound like a “Karen” but our shoes were drenched. Great round, just should have worn some water shoes!

My Dad and I enjoyed our round at Fox Hollow. Dad's handicap -- 10, my handicap -- 3. The greens rolled true. The pace of play was good. The staff were friendly. Dad paid and I never heard him complain about the price. We didn't see a fox but we saw a Beaver in the creek.

A very challenging course for beginners. Very tight in some areas. The indoor driving range is okay but the deck is a bit worn-out. Make sure to bring sun block and mosquito repellant during sunny days.

We played here recently and were only halfway through the course when the rain siren sounded. Unfortunately, the pro shop employee didn’t offer a rain check, but after following up with the team at fox hollow a rain check was offered for our remaining holes. We have not been able to return yet but Will update the review when we re-play the course this summer!

I have been golfing with the Monday Morning Ladies League for the past 4 years now at Fox Hollow and have found it to be a great experience. I find the group of ladies to be a fun loving group but still a group that respects the game by playing by the rules. I am sure it is by far the most reasonable priced League in the city and well organized. The ladies are there to enjoy the game of golf but also to have fun doing it. The staff and management at Fox Hollow treats us very well giving us discounted green fees, discounts in the pro shop as well and always willing to answer any of our questions. With the golf dome attached they have a multitude of lessons available from the pros. Our Morning Ladies League have the option to play either on Mondays or Wednesdays and boasts over 100 ladies strong and always welcoming new comers that like to follow proper golf etiquette and have a good time. Come golf with us and stay for coffee up in the restaurant after the games for a visit.

Golfed at Fox Hollow Golf Course for the first time the other day and had a great round. It was quick and convenient to go right after work since its right in the city, and the Pro Shop staff were very helpful and friendly and got me out on the course right on time. After our round, we had supper in the restaurant, which was also really good. The restaurant had a good menu and all our food and drinks were delicious. Overall, great course, great golf and a great experience! I will definitely be going back as soon as the weather permits!

The course isn't terrible. Not very well maintained though. I played here often until today. I will never play here again after the attitude of the snack/beer girl that drives around right from the first time she came by and we didn't buy anything, she gave us all bad attitude. I've never had anyone blatantly ask me for a tip before until today. I will never play here again.

Usually a good spot for a round but the lack of rain is killing this course. Make sure you walk if possible. The fairways are roped off all over so having a power cart is painful and expensive

I golf regularly at Fox Hollow. Very good course for the money . It is always in good shape. Staff is very friendly. Enjoy going for a bit to eat and a drink after our round at the restaurant. Lucky to have a course like this right in the center of Calgary

I used to play here quite a bit. Golf course needs better grooming and maintenance. Greens were hard and slow. No twilight rate. A $40 rate for 9 holes after 6 pm seems out of line even for other Calgary courses. Rough seems like it had not been cut for quite a while. This was once a better maintained course....given the level of maintenance versus the rate....I am forced to rate this low. Back nine still has a great layout though.....but I will not be back this season.

i used to be a member at the elks next door to this course. wife and kids had me not be there any more so i golf all over the city. seems like the beginning of the year the courese is in great shape then it just sucks. i went there july 1 and the fairways and greens were patchy and just sucked to play. i know its a public course so i dont expect much for the price but with the golf couse down the street closing u think they would step up the care for the course.

The course overall is not too bad. I’m still a beginner and played with a couple other beginner golfers. We payed to play 18 holes and issue number one was when the marshal came around hole ten to tell us to hurry up even though we were waiting behind the group in front of us on the first 9(not an issue for us but obviously we’ll be slower if we’re just waiting around) Also, nobody was waiting on us on hole ten so it’s kinda weird he would have such a rude tone when telling us to hurry up. Issue number two is when we were literally on hold 18, a chip away from the green and the guy who was originally the check-in guy cruises out in his cart and tells us we’re so slow and it shouldn’t take us so long and to hurry up and leave.. I get wanting to finish your day and go home from work but you shouldn’t be rude to the customers because of it. ESPECIALLY when they’re literally about to finish, it doesn’t even need to be mentioned at that point.(There was also a group about two holes behind us, so this guy must have been losing his mind about us SLOOOOW GOLFERS). Two stars because the course itself is decent but the employees are clowns.

This is the worst staffed golf course I’ve ever been on. The staff were extremely rude and impatient. Wasn’t forgiving whatsoever with the golf carts even though I told him it was my first time operating one. If you’ve never used one of those before, good luck.

Ive ladies league golfed at a few courses and everyone here is A-1 : the greens are great, the staff is so friendly and helpful, service is top notch , lessons by real (patient) pros, good weekly specials food menu - and of course great group of ladies to golf with and the prizes! Booked a tee time over the phone and upon arrival was told it was never booked and that I was nowhere in the system. I showed my call log to the front desk employee and yet he refused to acknowledge any possibility of a mistake made on his end, and he refused to let us play or even attempt to resolve the situation. Instead I was told this was a he said / she said situation and that the front desk employee himself was working when I placed the call and thus he must have told me the course was fully booked. When asked if he really thought it was more likely that I misheard "the course is fully booked" for "you're booked for Sunday at 11:40 for 3 people" or that he took my call and in error didn't log it into the system, he had nothing to say. Everyone makes mistakes but not everyone acts like an unprofessional dolt when they do. No character or integrity from the folks here and hence the 1 star rating.
