This oasis is one of the nicest places in the city. Lunch on the patio is absolutely divine and the food is impeccable. As one of Calgary’s legacy clubs, the service is also impeccable.

This was the second time I have played the Calgary Golf and CC (first time 3 years ago). They just finished some on course renovations a short while ago, and did a wonderful job on this historic, renowned golf club. A treat to play if you get the chance as it is a private golf club.

Screw up security gard.. blue Toyota truck.. the guy is from three hill. .. no training or school what soo ever... Worse night gard ever... gray hair and his blue truck is registered to his company **canine watch dog & patrol ltd... watch out.. Do a research. Before you hired dummy.. we call the cop on him... You come here for golf. End of story. Forget about everything else. No phone calls, no text messages, no emails. Dress professionally. Keep pace. If an urgent communication is required, someone will find you and let you know. If you want to take a break, do so before the back nine. Deals are discussed on the greens between strokes, and finalized in the clubhouse. Hands down, the best course in Calgary.

Had lunch here with a member today. The food was great and even got to meet the chef. Its nice to see a place in the city where cellphone use is non-existent. I can't remember the last time I ate a meal and didn't see people looking at their phones the whole time. The staff all seem very friendly and knew the majority of their guests... advantages of being a member I suppose. Can imagine how beautiful the grounds are during the summer time. I was there in winter and it was nice.

This place is beautiful! It's hidden, like Alice in Wonderland. You're always treated with respect. You can feel a bit out of place if you're not up on etiquette. Try the buffets!! Downside: you need to dine with someone with a membership, or you can't dine!

Over the top amazing staff. Great location- out of the way in central Calgary. Cannot use cell phones are not allowed to be used while on the premises. Catering is AMAZING. Great place to host an event.

Went for an event here - atmosphere is stuffy and uninviting and the staff is given the unfortunate job of enforcing 1950s values. Would not recommend this as a venue for an event attended by anyone under the age of 40.

This club is above exceptional. The staff are amazing and helpful and the course is great. Can't wait till the work on the front 9 is completed. This is a private course so if you know someone who is a member make sure you are extra sweet so maybe they will take you for a round.

We had a course here. The food was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. However your not allowed cell phones on the property which is fine if it's when the golf course is open or if you are going for dinner with the regular members. But when you have a course or conference in the off season and have the place booked I don't agree! Because the speaker was asking us to look up answers for his coarse & a couple of the Dr's had emergency calls. One Dr got in trouble for taking an emergency call in the parking lot.

Not great. For the way the staff acts, you'd almost think you were trespassing at Augusta. Course design is monotonous (can be somewhat forgiven considering its urban setting). - greens are unimaginative. Grounds are well kept but underwhelming for the club's reputation - which definitely does not precede the quality of experience. If you're a low-mid handicapper, this place will get boring quickly. If you're considering membership in or near Calgary, you can do much better for much less. Unless the philosophy of this club changes, it will be replaced by condos in 20-30 years.

Ive been going there for 20 years. One time during the dinner, a middle age waiter with an Eastern European accent asked me to tuck my shirt in my pants. I don’t think I have broken the dress code. My clothes are not cheap and many people don’t tuck shirts inside the pants when they are at work.
