So it started with the employee in the office explaining that our son needs to do a free safety course before next time even if he has done lesson sets else where. Fair enough but not delivered very nicely. We joined another father and son and around the 9th hole the warden told us to speed up or skip two holes because the lady in the office was upset with our speed of play. We declined and played all holes. We had not seen the group of 3 behind us since the third hole. There was no one in front of us. The group behind caught up on 9 then we lost then again and a group of 2 came up. Basically she was trying to ruin our day because I evidently did not hide my disdain for her attitude. It is a paid holiday today and as a city worker is making lots of overtime. Maybe sitting in a booth by herself is the best career for her if it were not for having to interact with the public. If you can't be nice on a day you are making double or triple time, I wander how bad her attitude would be on normal wage days.

With out a doubt the best Pitch & Putt in the Lower Mainland. Excellent greens, a lot of variety in yardage for holes (110-50) yards, and the prices of admission is reasonable. Its hard to post this review as it will likely attract more players to what is basically a hidden gem.

Came here a while back with some friends and the marshal was really rude to us. Everybody else was super kind, especially the lady at the office who took our payment. We are not the absolute best at golf but I’ve had a decent amount of practice and the marshal’s tone was so condescending saying if we can’t get the ball into the hole in 3 hits we need to move along.

What a gem this walk in the park is. If you like the changes in elevation, fast greens, great layout, well tended, good views, don't hesitate to call for the best time to get out and hone your ball striking, tempo etc.

Love this place! It’s a good pitch and putt course. The only downfall is today. It’s a fairly busy time but not too bad. Three of us are playing. Finished our first hole, proceeded on to the second one after the couple in front of us finished. Out of nowhere a lady, who is probably a Marshall or whatever she is came up to us and basically told us to hurry up and that it’s only 6 hits and we should keep up with the group in front of us in an almost scolding, condescending tone. At this point the second person in our group is about to go, this lady just stands there and watches us, pretty much pressuring us to hurry and finish. Meanwhile the group behind us isn’t even on the 1st hole yet. Not sure what to make of it aside from being picked on, discriminated and treated unfairly. Moving on through our play, we even had two holes empty behind us as the group behind us was fairly slow. So I don’t understand what this lady’s issue is. We weren’t slow. We were just going with the pace and waiting for the group in front of us to finish. This situation just really made us feel discriminated and treated unfairly. I hope she doesn’t do this to anyone else as it did not feel right at all. Better yet I hope she won’t be working on this course. She needs training in PR and customer service. Didn’t need to be rude to us about it. We’re actually not bad and are keeping to the 6 hits rule. Apologize for the long rant but she did hurt our feelings and upset us.

Perfect par 3 course to get started at. Lineups can get a little long as there are no tee times but if you just want to have a relaxing day shooting 18 holes with some friends, this is the place. Course is in decent shape considering how long it’s been open

A good municipal Pitch and Putt. It has fairly challenging terrain, and the greens are fairly well kept. Some of the tee off boxes are in need of repair, and a few areas are perpetual mud pits. It is a year-round course, which is nice, but be prepared to get your feet wet in some areas.

Low cost, quick little 18 hole par three with plenty of diversity to keep things fresh. Great for when you want to golf but don’t have a ton of time, normally takes our family of 4 about 2 hours to finish.

Great short course. Challenging terrain, some elevated greens. I hope the city doesn't go thru with plans to destroy the 18 hole pitch and putt to make it into an executive 9 hole. This is one of the most interesting short courses in the Lower Mainland. Its great drainage allows you to play in the winter as well.

The course was in great shape. I usually go to Central Park which in my opinion is the best course but Kensington is really challenging that notion. The greens are much more dynamic than Central Park, but your longest hole is only 110 yard. Renting clubs is super cheap if you're just a beginner too!

Of all the pitch and putts in Vancouver area. (Stanley, Queen E, Central, Rupert, Ambleside are the ones I've been to). I would argue this is the most challenging with varying terrain and difficultly to land on the green off the tee versus the others. One my favorite pitch and putts.

This is an absolute gem of a pitch’n putt. The marshal is very fair and friendly, same for all but one shop worker. Beautiful holes that are set up in a very relaxed manner. Would be 5 stars save for one unnecessarily abrasive older desk lady and an odd situation where a group of students who were late for a lesson were going to have to play in front of our twosome because they closed the till 1.5 hours early. This would have been fine if the “instructor” hadn’t waited 10+ minutes to tell us we’d be stuck behind a lesson for 4 who hadn’t even bothered to arrive on time when we had arrived well before closing with full intentions to pay. For whatever reason the same abrasive worker was letting groups jump in line who had arrived earlier but didn’t want to wait for their tee times only to return later, it definitely created some tension for those waiting patiently

Have played a few of the PPs in the Lower Mainland (Stanley Park, Central Park, Rupert) and was impressed by this one. The front 9 features holes 1 - 4 going up hill, 5, 6 coming down and while doing so offering up some great views. Back 9 goes through the trees and much flatter. Good conditions for PP (in that greens are thick and slow, fairways are green, but not just grass growing on them). Great little course to play and have fun. Don’t worry about pace of play, just enjoy those views!

I went to play 18 holes at 11:30am on July 25th, No Scorecards available and had to ask the Cashier for a piece of paper. He apologized, but did not know when they would have them. The tees are in terrible condition. Do the maintenance and people will come.

This course sucks! Dont ever play here! OK Im lying because I want this amazing course to myself. Its the best pitch n putt in the lower mainland... Challenging because of the change in elevation and sloped greens... plus they keep it in good condition. I love this place... please dont play here ;)

When you enforce rules such as 'no push carts' because it will damage the grass... ( it's a golf course... where else would a specifically designed golf push cart be used if not here? ) Yet turn a blind eye to groups' throwing bags of beer over the fence and openly drinking beside families with small children... Whilst the next group up is smoking up within a park while they wait on the warped hard pan golf mat....to wait for the group that jumped the fence and didn't pay at all.... All the while being loud an obnoxious... IMO you have your priorities out of whack at this facility.

One of the best pitch & putts in lower mainland. The length of the holes is longer than those in Vancouver, and most greens are elevated and tricky to negotiate if you miss the green. The short #4 is leaning down, and the #16 is the only hole with a ditch in front of the green. #5 could be your lucky hole: I made 2 hole-in-one there! :)

Not very busy before noon. But i guess people "working from home" take the afternoon off to do a round, and the course gets super busy after 2pm. Best to bring some prerolls and a six pack to enjoy the round! Don't get caught lol.
