The Get Golf Ready classes are so well designed and instructed. After finishing all of the four level classes, the full courses don't see as big anymore. The instructors are very experienced, the golf course is very beautiful and well maintained. Worth every penny of your money, especially the level 3-4, where you can play on the beautiful course.

This is a great place to start playing golf and getting into programs. They have kids camp and descent facilities. We had our boy enrolled in camp last summer, and he thoroughly enjoyed his time there. We walked around the grounds too, and the place is well kept. For a public course, it's very nice.

Great course! My preferred course of the 3 city courses. The holes present a fair challenge with uneven lies and fairway bunkers, but if you can make your shots you'll score well. The range is a bit more dated, as a lefty golfer I can't hit driver on this range because the mats are too small and my feel end up off the mat.

This is a medium length full 18 hole course ,I think it is a good course to learn to play on with lots of variety including up and downhill play.There are putting and chipping areas as well as a driving range .There is also a full clubhouse with a pro shop and a restaurant which has a selection of food items !

Gorgeous oasis in the city. Lived nearby for years and didn't venture past the fence. They have a little clubhouse with an inviting outdoor deck bordered by lush flowerbeds. Bought a snack at their cafeteria and were served by a very accommodating and friendly gentleman. The sweet potato fries were delicious and the portions generous. Will definitely return.

Nice golf course. Unfortunately, like many golf courses however, pace of play could be improved. If you start a tee time anywhere from 10am to 3pm say hello to a 5hr round lol. Wish the marshals would be more strict with pacing.

Decent public course located about 25 mins from the city core. The course is well maintained and does get busy in peak period and on nice days. Booking 1 or 2 days in advance is recommended. Decent rates and easy to walk, they provide free pull carts.

Honestly, I'm a newbie at golf and haven't been to any other driving ranges other than this one (because it's so close to where I live) but it's nice here. Buy a code for a basket of balls at the shop or get a card for multiple baskets for future use and cheaper balls. A nice walk down to the driving range with lower or upper deck stalls.

Nice public golf course. I don't play golf, but I do frequent the restaurant. The golf course was closed for civid-19 last months. It's a comfortable setting to have a light meal or just sit down for a coffee. They were well keep this place and let the walkers to enjoy a walk there. The flowers there were so pretty. However as I met a client there today, it was communicated to me that was no longer allowed. Our party of 3 was already seated, I had an entree in front of me and the others had coffee, when we were then told only golfers are now being admitted.

Course is in great shape! Greens seemed true . I did not play so great, but still had fun! The lack of star I left out was because being harrassed by the Marshall's 5 or 6 times throughout the game was unjustified... They were polite about it, but we were on schedule every step of the way. Upon arrival, we were asked to start 7 minutes early since the group before us had not arrived yet... Without a proper warm up we accepted (we should not have). Eventually that same group only had 3 players so obviously were at a quicker pace so we're always pressing. Again, we were always on time . I don't like being pushed when it's unnecessary. Very unfair!

Probably the best municipal golf course in Vancouver. So close and accessible, large driving range, lessons, fitting, simulator, and beautiful long well kept course all in one location. Ample parking, 2 putting greens for practice, and a nice full featured clubhouse. There is a long perimeter walking path around the course maintained by the city covered in nice soft mulch for walking or running. The course itself is challenging, provides some views, and really seems outside the city it is so quiet. Value for dollar is excellent, and would come again!

I slipped and fell on the slope between 15 and 16....there was not a safety sign or posts for golfers to go around yet the slope was like ice...even wearing spikes, I went right back on my back and was soaked for the remainder of the round. Safety should always be the first priority at FV!

Very lovely course however the marshal was a complete ass. He politely had asked us to speed up after the first nine so we did even though we were moving along at a good speed. But then somewhere around the 14th hole he came up to use after we had finished to say we were going way to slow and how we were an embarrassment and in his 29 years of being a marshal had never seen a group going so slowly, even though the group behind us was still on the previous hole. I mean we finished the course in just over 4 hours which I think is a very average time. In conclusion golf course is great but the marshal is a dick and kinda ruined my game.

I took two sessions of group lessons with Derek Thornley. Derek is very passionate about golfing and very patient. Excellent coach! Highly recommended! Whenever I go practicing at the driving range, he will give me extra tips and golf balls. I haven't played the full course at the Fraserview yet but from what I see, it's a beautiful golf course.

very disappointed with our experience here. Went with some first timers marshal was riding us for no reason talked to group behind and they weren't even pressing. Marshal would not stop harassing finished course on average time. He ruined their experience. Secondly there was one guy in the pro shop who was very rude and demanding. Beautiful course would never go back though.

Fantastic muni - my favorite of the 3 Vancouver city courses - not as challenging as McCleery, not as flat and straight forward as Langara, but very playable for all skill levels. Feels like it’s the largest of the 3 courses and has varied terrain, the front 9 slopes downhill and towards Marine Drive (most of the greens slope towards the south), until you hit hole 8 and start your way back up. Lots of opportunities to stick it close on the front 9 as the downhill lies make many of the holes a bit shorter than the yardages appear. Hole 10 and onwards have a different feel with more uphill holes. There are 3 distinct Par 3s (7, 13, 16) which are fun and challenging - massive elevation change, a water feature and a short downhill. Always tough to find prime times at the course, so book early. Pre-COVID the tee times were stacked and wait times between holes were inevitable, but seems to be better now with a few more minutes between groups. Course was in great shape for late summer. There is a driving range and a couple practice greens. An East Van golf gem for sure!

My wife and I played the course on 25th May. Club house staff were friendly snd helpful. Starter and Marshal the same. We were teamed up with two very pleasant golfers. It is a nice course, lots of beautiful old trees and well laid out. Quite a bit "up and down", tho' a fairly decent walk. No real water hazards. Some of the greens on the back 9 were not in pristine shape. Sand in the traps was a bit - er - "odd". It was a 5 hour round - we waited on every hole, and we did not see the marshal, apart from at the start. But it was a lovely day, and the birds sang and we liked the course a lot. Certainly prettier than UBC or McCleary. We'll play it again for sure.

After a previous day of heavy snow the golf course is beautiful place to visit. The course is blanketed in white and great for snowshoeing. There’s no one around, quiet and serene, until you hear a coyote howl and come out from the trees. But no need to worry as they are very shy of humans.

Beautiful course. But just like the last two reviews, the Marshall was very impolite and rude. He kept rushing me and my friend to go faster and followed us on 2 courses to speed us up. He told us that we shouldnt take forever to putt when we only putted twice on one hole... Our pace was fine, people behind us were not even at our course yet. Everytime we were at the next course, the group before us were not even finished their hole yet and we ended up waiting for them. The experience was terrible, seemed more like a chore than a game at the course.

First time playing this course in over 10 years and the experience was underwhelming. Inexperienced staff had problems organizing carts for us delaying our tee off by a half hour. 2-3 group waits on at least 4-5 holes. Our round took 5 hours 20 minutes.

Great course but terrible customer service. I played there with friends yesterday and we were consistently bothered by the marshall to pick up the pace and made us to move to the next hole even though there were no groups waiting behind us. At one point we saw the two-some behind us and they had one girl learning how to play and he told her that she should learn another day. We finished the round in 4 hours and pace is 4:20, I don't understand why we were pressured so much to speed up.

First of series of 5 lessons in GGR. Instructor was fantastic! Really enjoyed the first class. Went to the club house to find out where to meet and the staff were all helpful/friendly. On the negative side, wish there were instructions on where to meet up prior to arriving, and even though I asked, it wasn’t clear exactly where to meet up. A couple people were 15 min late, and I believe that was the issue as they saw the previous group on the putting green and waited there:(
