Booked a twosome yesterday and I will go through examples of first world problems here. Should have taken pictures, but I had other problems to deal with, like figuring out why I sucked at golf so much. The layout of the entrance area, IMO, is poorly designed. The entrance area was full of people lining up to tee off. It was bedlam! First time playing here so that was a bit confusing. I guess space is at a premium. Carts were to be picked up at the end of the building. Good exercise I guess. It was unorganized. No starter at the tee off so I had to ask various groups when their tee time was at so I can determine where I was in line. Finally found the group we were joining as they were teeing off. The course itself was in poor shape. The tee off area was hacked up. Hard to find a tee off area for irons unless you move 5+ feet back or forward. Some fairways appeared to have been flooded with many wet spots or like grounds under repair. The greens were good for the most parts. The pace of play was also good. That's why the 2 star was given. Not likely I will be back for $80+ including cart. Edit 1: they really need to get new fleet of golf carts. Edit 2: cart path?

Great course in Port Coquitlam. Very friendly and professional staff. Course conditions were great when I went. Really hot so rent a cart or bring an umbrella. Fast greens. Not as easy as it looks.

(Translated) The overall course is a pre-stronger and there are quite a few par 4 holes at 400 yards in the first half, so it is difficult to score, but it is easy to attack because there are many in the mid-300 yards in the second half. It is highly recommended for Baekdol-i who want to have a glass of soju while feeling like they have improved their skills with a good score card. Course management is intermediate and the fairway is not very good, but the green, which is quite difficult, gives the player a little fun. The 4-dollar beer was good, and the weekday play was fun with no push or push. (Original) 전반적인 코스는 전강후약으로 전반 400야드 파4홀도 꽤 있어서 스코어 내기가 어렵지만, 후반은 300야드 중반대가 많아 공략하기 쉬운편임. 간만에 그럭저럭 괜찮은 스코어 카드를 들고 실력향상 된듯한 기분을 느끼며 소주한잔 하고픈 백돌이 분들에게 적극 추천. 코스 관리는 중급 정도에 페어웨이 상태가 썩 좋진 않지만 꽤 난이도 있는 그린은 플레이어의 재미를 좀 실감나게함. 4불짜리 맥주도 좋고 많이 밀리지도 푸쉬도 없는 평일 플레이는 즐거운편이었음

Bad Experience We booked a foursome for 6pm, we left early from Vancouver to make sure we showed up with enough time so we wouldn’t hold anyone back. After checking in I verified our tee time and the person working the clubhouse asked us to start on the 10th hole. Haven’t had that happen before. Course was in ok shape considering how hot and dry it has been. As we were approaching the 17th hole somewhere around 730pm we noticed the flag was pulled from the green and the 18th hole as well. When we moved to hole number 1 to start the front 9 we saw that sprinklers were turning on hole 2 and 3, thought that was odd as well as there were other golfers still playing. Flag was pulled from 1 as well. We saw a groundskeeper ripping across the course, not pausing for players to shoot - he did this as I was teeing up on hole 3, drove right across the fairway, 100 yards out from us - he could’ve been seriously injured and it was very poor etiquette. As we walked up hole 3, getting soaked by the sprinklers we wondered if we were in the wrong? But we paid for 18 not 9…nobody said there would be anything interrupting our play. We didn’t bother playing any other holes due to no flags on the greens and tee boxes with sprinklers going. In the parking lot I returned to the clubhouse to find a garbage. An employee was leaving and asked if it was normal protocol to remove flags and have sprinklers going while golfers are out there - he said he knew nothing of it, must’ve been grounds keepers. Is this normal operations at Carnoustie? With so much daylight out it was a shame our night was cut short due to staff wanting to head out early. I sent in an email to the course that night and haven't had a response. I will spend my money at another course.

Nice little course. Well maintained. Exceptionally good rolling greens but a few too many hard doglegs for my liking. It is a semi-private course and power carts are not available to non-members. It would have been nice to have had that option on a day when the temperature reached 35c. Additionally, there was no roving refreshment cart. While we brought our waters and Gatorades and reloaded at the turn, with that kind of heat we needed more cold beverages and a roving refreshment cart would have fixed that easily.

Below average experience for my first and last round at this course. Course was in pretty rough shape in a lot of areas, greens were rock hard and baked and worst of all, pace of play was horrible. The course itself sort of sucks - no really nice holes other than 1 par 3 carry over water and a bunker, some horrible tree locations on tee shots but overall, just very, very boring. The staff however are nice. Not sure who the lady is who works in the restaurant but she was very welcoming and hospitable. The lone bright spot on the day unfortunately!

Website says online booking only. Booked an available tee time for a single. Received confirmation email. The morning of the tee time, I received an email stating that my tee time has been cancelled. Called the pro shop to find out what's going on. He says the course doesn't allow single tee bookings, although the website allows you to book one. Said its "course policy". Get your acta together. It's 2021 and programming a booking feature on your website is easy. Amateur hour nonsense.

Sometimes you can see coyotes hanging around the green, but be careful when the bear appears. Looking for a 6 hour round for $100? Look no further. Disappointed in the way the staff treated our foursome this morning. The course marshal did nothing but look for balls. Please lower your prices Carnoustie, this is a $40 course.

Good little course in Port Coquitlam. Easily walkable, and fair condition for the price. Only bad thing is that the rounds take a long time to play. Played a few times and it's minimum 5 hours.

I've played this course three times. Condition can be a little rough in some spots, especially after heavy rain, but otherwise a nice track. Always see wildlife including deer, coyote, and black bear. Overall great value considering they have the lowest green fees for a full 18-hole course in the tri-cities.

Greens were pretty good, but no low fringe around them. The fairways were rough in places and just too many dog legs. The power carts had good zip to them, and people were friendly. Golfed here just because I hadn't in 4 or 5 years. I paid the same to golf at better courses in the area. I will avoid it for another 4 or 5 years.

I went here last night at 730 for a sunset round. I was surprised to hear that the sunset rate was going to be $30 as there are much nicer courses charging less in the area. I decided to give it a shot as I have never played here before. I asked for a power cart and the attendant told me it was going to be $50. I was taken aback and decided to walk. For $30 sunset rate, i was expecting great conditions, however the fairways have mud all over them, dry parches, and not a verybwell maintained course. The value just wasnt there for me. Its not an overly exciting course to play either. For the price you will pay here, you're better off going to meadow gardens, oitt meadoes golf ckub or even drive to swan e set. Definitelybwill not be returning.

Nice one, punch greens and offer no warning or heads up on your online book system. Also offer zero discount to play in impossible conditions. Smart play to do this right before a long weekend too. Not that great a value compared to public courses in Vancouver. Firstly, the tee boxes are unkept and the fairway has many spots that are in need of repair or reseeding. They have an issue with locals whereby you cannot hit off the first tee box on Monday mornings but you can golf it when you finish the back nine. Our last round it took 5+ hours....so slow and the Marshall didn't move the slow groups along. They need to be better and deliver better experience as it's a nice course, just expect better

The course conditions were subpar. Brown dead patches of grass were frequently around. There are no ball cleaning stations. It's hard to believe that the green fees here is $70. For $55-60 you could play a much better course like Fraserview, Riverway or Burnaby mtn. My friends and I will not play here again unless they adjust their prices accordingly. $70 for this course is very over priced. This course is nowhere good as the other courses that are priced at $55ish.

Let me tell you a thing or two about this golf course. Carnoustie golf club is the epitome of class from top to bottom. Beautiful course set against the mountains. Great management and energetic stuff. Ideally located halfway house run by the angelic Eda, whose ability to whip you up and Caesar and hotdog that'll make you forget the front 9 woes. If you looking for a great course for a fair price any day of the week, this is the place to be!

So first I had a coupon for 4 players. The Red Book specifies we have to play after 12 noon, which we were booked for 12:02. When I approcated the tell I told him I had a coupon and would have to pay for the other 3. I said they are going to pay with their credit card because of covid, they didn't bring enough cash. He still wouldn't accept the coupon. I asked for the Manager and he showed me a sign they put up saying that payment for the 3 players had to be paid by me!!. I said, they are here and can each pay with credit card. He said NO and said it was too difficult for the accounting system.. I said the RED BOOK does not mention I have to pay for the other players, nor does it say anything about their Damm accounting system. That is our last round there. I usually get a group of 12 to play and they just lost that business also. NO FLEXIBILITY!!!

There on a sat weekend with a few friends and even though it is my 4th time on course, this place is surprisingly impressive with its open layout, playful hazards and quality of the green. Very beautiful course, friendly marshal and good value! My only complain was the diesel cart, but for $17 it is a bargain. I was so spoiled with electric ones I have used but they cost a lot more. Will go back!

I don't think I will play here again. Unfortunately not a good experience this time around and I feel we overpaid for this course. They used to be better but I am not sure what changed. We were a group of 4 playing early morning and the Marshall was constantly bothering us and expecting us to finish the round in 4 hours when there was 3 groups of 4 ahead of us and the course was busy. We were walking too and had a normal pace of play. Only had people waiting behind us on 2 holes and after that we had no one behind. Golf is not a game to be rushed first of all and is certainly not fun when you are been harassed constantly to hurry up. We finished in 4.5 hours which is completely normal for a busy day and we were not slow. If we are paying $60 for a round at a course that honestly could be maintained better than we would expect better service than this. Sorry but you lost 4 customers today.
