Easily one of the best deals in the GTA. Course was in good shape, easy to walk. Pace of play was good. Added bonus of serving Triple Bogey beer :) First two holes are as tough a two hole stretch as it comes. The par 5’s here are great, some of the par 4’s are forgettable but for the price, I’d play here any day of the week.

Stopped golfing there many years ago after snotty pro shop experience scolded my group for being 5 minutes late , only to wait for the 2 four some still waiting on the tee box. a bit pricey for what it is and cart fees are a bit much..20 extra to have my kid sit in the cart and caddy for me . on top of the cart fee ...ahahaha.marshalls!? what course still has marshalls.. ...oakville should have bought glen abbey and had this place redeveloped..visited there recently.....nope place hasn't changed..thanks but no thanks..no loss for them ..no loss for me..

Have to rate this course as a 3. The signage for each whole was terrible. Did not match the scorecard. How to get to the next whole was terrible. The course itself was in great condition though.

Very well maintained golf course. Fast greens, great tblocks and lush fairways. Don't know how they keep it so well with all the traffic. Good test of your skills. Not too long. Plays quick . Lots of water but bunkers not so great. Good proshop. And snack bar ok. Good combo deals. Carts are very decent. Lots if oarjing and a good range. Dining room on site but do to covid unusable.

I camped-out on the Deerfield Golf Course. The ambience is lovely. Many beautiful swans congregate in the pond. The next morning, I was awoken by the grounds staff. They started shaking my tent poles, telling me to come out. They told me Deerfield Golf Course is private property and camping is not allowed. Deerfield Golf Course is very lovely, and I would love to visit again soon. I just think the staff are rude, and could use more training on how to be polite. Otherwise, 5 stars!

Parking lot is not fully paved, mucky on a rainy day. Other than that, it is conveniently located, closer to restaurants and amenities etc. HRPS HQ is nearby, including Halton Region Offices. Very close to QEW, just north of it.

Bitterly disappointed with the pace of play. no marshall on the course but their signage says the whole course is to be played within 4 to 4.5 hours. took us 2.5 hours to play the front and then a massive backup at #10 Tee box (3 groups).

The mashal was very rude and no respect to customers. We teed off 1st tee with 2 some but caught by the starter while we are walking out. He just throw a guy us to make 3 some without asking. But we accommodated his request. So we started playing with 3 and 1 guy out after first 9 so back to played with 2. We carefully payed attention the group behind us with 4 some. They never waited or held back by us. We finished all 18 holes in 4 hours and 35 minutes by walking even after an argument with a marshal with Russian accent. That guy come to us couple of times saying people behind us were held by us. I pointed out no one behind us waiting but he insisted doen't matter because in front of us we were 5 holes behind when we are playing 16th holes. I said we are playing at 16th then he changed his word that we were 3 holes behind. Still we were at 16th. Even that guy threatened us he will picyk up the ball and throw out to the next hole if I kept arguing when we were at 16th hole. I never ever treated like this at any other golf course. For sure this is the worst course ever. Be minded this worst service and be away from this course if you can.

Great Staff, Years Ago.... While I was going to school. A golfer tossed his favourite club into the pond. Calls me to come right away paying double to recover the cherished club underwater. I show up dive into the weeds and finally find it. The guy takes the club and as I get out of the water he drives off without paying. The staff found out, traced the guy down and made him pay up. thanks. I was at a event and they are still great people at the club. Always remembered your kindness. Robert Oakville Divers

Great course with great rates, recommend to friends/family. its nice to have the flexibility to hit balls at the range before the round, use the practice greens, chipping greens, and be able to take a cart for 1/2 the round at 1/2 the rate. Always nice when a course provides you many options to suit your needs.

6 holes were closed. Booked on golf now and there was no mention of it. Might of been a golf now problem not specifically the course. Wet day so hard to judge overall conditions. They have just aerated the greens so it's like playing the price is right "plinco" game while putting.

Have played this course a couple of times. The course is in great condition and is in the heart of Oakville on the QEW. Course is in great shape and the food and service is not bad at all.

Hi..The course layout was fun and a challenge as well.. Too bad my twosome got behind a group of SIX for 5 holes and guys would not waive us through...Saw another group of six earlier and thought maybe I was seeing things..I have been playing golf for many years never have I seen a group of 6 allowed but usually on a Saturday afternoon there is a course marshall but noone at all. Pretty hot and no beverage cart either-- not cool...This course is great to play...but guests should be treated like you want us to come back. I'm really trying to be nice...just hard to watch 6 guys spay shots all over and waiting to play just gets so frustrating.

From real golfers I heard this is an easy course. Not for me as I am a beginner. There is water ponds in between the hole and the flag, pretty scary lol in most of the holes.

Had a great time playing this course. The starter was great and we were able to tee off earlier than our actual tee time, as the group in front wanted to switch. Greens and fairways were in great condition. Look forward to next season.

Haven't played this course in several years and didn't know what to expect. Conditions were very good with lush fairways, tee boxes and greens, though the latter were a little slow and needed to be cut. Great spacing of groups resulted in a 4 hour round, throw in some very friendly staff and this was a very pleasant experience.

Made some nice changes to the course this year and it's in great shape. New carts and everything! Clubhouse is still a $#!+ hole with an OTB... but you cant have everything I guess. The beer is still cold though, so. ????

They only allow hitting off the mats at the driving range but the mats are small. When setting up for the driver I can feel the back edge of the mat under my heels and I am by no means a tall person. I asked one staff member if it was OK to hit the driver off the grass as long as I use a tee. He said no problem, then later another staff person got mad at me for doing so.

The staff were very friendly and the course was in excellent condition. I would have given them 5 stars but we finished our round of golf at 7.00pm the bar and kitchen were closed which obviously meant no food or drink which was disappointment, but I would still go again.

Horrible course and ignorant staff. Had a twilight booked and completed 6 holes in 2.5 hours. This course did not follow 10 minute intervals between groups and had to wait a minimum of 15 minutes between holes. We left after 7 holes, requested a rain check for the back 9 as it was very frustrating, got dark and the gentleman at the desk said “no chance, that’s what happens when you book a twilight”. That’s false, because we never experienced this at any other course where we have completed 18 holes easily even with a later tee off time.

Service on the phone is crap. Old guy told me to come anytime as a single and he'd stick me in no problem. Once i arrived, was told there would be a half an hour wait and that i couldn't take a cart because they needed to be back by 6! Won't be going back here for a loooong time considering they wasted mine.

We had a 4:00 tee off and were told to return our carts by 8:15. That was fine but when we got to the 10th hole there were 3 groups on the hole that weren't in front of us before. So they plugged up the back 9 then came to complain half way thru the 18th hole that we were late bringing the carts back. And it was only 8:25.

A fun, walkable track. The front 9 does not require much hitting Driver (>250 yds.) off the tee-box, but the par 37 on the Back 9 is much longer.

Pretty disappointed with the quality of golf this past Sunday. $80 for 18 holes, it feels like they charge a high rate and use absolutely none of that money to maintain the course to a quality that would reflect the rate. I don’t think they have sprayed any herbicide as weeds were everywhere, fairways were also like hitting out of the rough. I remember Deerfield being a very nice golf course, but unfortunately they are charging the same as a 4-5 star golf course when the true reality is that it is maintained like a 3 star course. I don’t think I will be back
