This is always a great course to play, always in great shape. Don’t think I’ve ever played here where it wasn’t well taken care of. The North 9 is the clear front runner as the best 9 (aside from the unfair par 5 fifth hole). The East 9 is fun but not very challenging. Don’t enjoy the south 9 much at all, but it does have the best hole on the course, the par 5 ninth hole. Great risk reward hole. Overall well worth the asking price with a great halfway house.

I like the course design but the Canada Geese have taken over the place. The goose droppings are on every square inch of the property making a round here not a very pleasant experience. I'd recommend they invest in a few black swans to keep the Canada Geese away

Playing was on the slow side, took 5 hour for 18 hole with cart and it is a short course. Also didn't like it the yardage to holes was written on the cart path and there is only a 150 yrd stick, it doesn't have 100 yrds. Most of the my second shots is between 80 to 130 yrd, so I hit shots over and short of the hole and do a guessing game or walk all the walk to cart path to find the yardage at 100 yrd and reference the shots on the other side of fairway since Cart path only that day cause previous day rained. Course have 3 x 9 holes, but 1 nine hole is close early due to wedding. Overall 1 star, have to drive all the way from Scarborough to play this course. Not worth it. Also just to add, the hole distance to the green is base on the flag on the pole of the hole. Some of the flag are wrong i believe because it is touched by other players before me and move it incorrectly. I would suggest them to use different flag colour cause those flag(goes up and down) on the pole is not working.

Good spot for the price, North greens seem to have some divet issues. Some Sand traps are also covered with rocks. Overall good course for the price.

I've been golfing here for 25 years and have seen and played through the expansion to 27 holes. Absolutely love this course! Enough of a challenge without being too difficult for novice golfers.

It’s nice and friendly but the back nine is someone’s front 9. We were held up by the group ahead of us and were given hell when we got to the 9th hole. If you don’t control the pace, don’t blame me.

Good not great public course. You have to keep your head in a swivel on some holes because they are so close. Plus there's a few double greens. Enjoy.

Member here for two years. Pro shop guys are great, especially Mario (Tom and Ty great last year too, but have left). A great course to walk, and always able to get out on one of the three nine's. Good course for scoring well, and tough to lose a ball except for Lefty's on the North Course. Could use some work on quickening greens, but overall, love golfing here.

If there is one thing I have to say about Kaneff golf courses in recent year, they do a remarkable job with course maintenance. Tee boxes are generally pretty good, nice green fairly soft fairways, and fairly smooth greens. really good value for the money. Recommended.

Due to pipeline construction going right through the golf course, a number of holes are cut in half, however they aren't discounting their rates. Prices for most things are on the high side. Other than that, nice condition but relatively easy track.

Great golf course, wonderful layout. Took us 5 1/2 hours to play 18 holes because they over booked their course and didn't seem to care about people's experience - just their green fees. Think twice about playing here - there are a lot of other good courses in the area.

This course is normally in great if not excellent condition, having played it for 20+ years. That wasn't the case today as the rough right of the fairways were very dry and hard, and the greens were rather spongy and slow. Rather disappointing given my past experiences. And 10% discounts for junior rates is a bit of a joke, how is that going to grow the game?

Busy course with 3 nines. Best two nines are the north and south courses. This course gets plenty of play so keep your head up as some holes are close to one another. Weekend play is busiest so book early. Pretty good restaurant and half way house.

Beware! Even if you tell them your friend cancelled last minute and the rest of you play, they will come after you for the extra money if you book with an on line site. I regularly came to this course until this failure. Won't play any Kaneff course now. Too bad, they are ok courses but the people in charge are only after every dollar you have.

This is a public course west of Toronto, easily accessible from the 401. It is about 35 minutes west of Pearson International Airport. It has 3 different 9 hole courses which the club will combine to give an 18 hole experience. I like the set up, it allows for a smooth day of golf without a lot of delay. The concession stand is located in an area central to the first hole on each course. I played most recently on June 6, 2021. The course was in phenomenal shape. Clearly Carlisle has been spending a lot of effort on upkeep and maintenance. Its not the most challenging course, but very high value for what they charge for green fees.

Course condition and layout are a plus. A good mix of challenging and inviting holes to play. Distance and finesse both come into play when traversing these links. Downside is pricing. Green fees and cart rentals, while not outrageously priced, do not stand out for their value, especially compared to the courses around the same area. I've played better for cheaper.

Fun quick 9 holes of golf on the south course. Course was in decent shape, greens were in good condition but pretty shaggy for a Saturday. One area that I thought should be addressed is the bushes/bullrush areas around the ponds and greens. it is very overgrown and makes it hard to see the pin and greens on approach shots. maintaining those areas would improve the course imo. Overall its a good course and I will try out the other two nines in the future.

My friend and I booked a tee off time at 248pm on Saturday Sept 26th at Carlisle GCC. We ended up paying a total of $106 for 18 holes and then decided to pay and take a Golf Cart (we were charged $20 each). The course was fabulous and great afternoon until the South 5th hole where there ws a back up for 40mins. This was caused due to a tournament and the staff were no where to be found. Disappointing for Kaneef and its Golf community. Not pleased at all......

Really food shape. Well maintained. Perhaps the best maintained Kaneff course currently. Royal ontario is just as good but far tighter and more challenging. Forget lionhead at this time...their rough is ridiculous thick and not well maintained. But the greens are very good.

Beautiful spot however the greens were shaggy, some landscape maintenance is required and the play was slow. Sadly those who were playing did not appear to like repairing pitch marks, multiple greens had half a dozen craters in them.

A beautifully maintained golf course!! Special thanks to Brody for doing a great job running the club. Mike, Rick and Ned were always very welcoming and did a great job with the Ladies league. Special thanks to Brody and the club for the warm welcome that was also given to a small group of 16 golfers, for organzing and welcoming the small tournament in September. Many of the golfers commented on how well the course was maintained and how warmly they were welcomed. Although we also play at a private club, we love Carlisle being right around the corner from us. Thanks also go out to Nina for her exceptional job in trying to make things happen for the ladies league, in this difficult year of covid. One more game on Friday and then looking forward to the spring:) Keep well.

It’s a fun little track that is in good shape. I often play with my wife who can occasionally break 100 and I am a low handicapper. The course has 3 nine’s that are all fun to play. I have played it 7 or 8 times, typically find that it’s good value, quick pace of play, and is a decent shape. I will be back to play some more golf!

I would rate this 3.5 but you can't do halves. I like courses with 3 nines as it helps with pace of play. I play this course 2-3 times per year mostly out of proximity to my house. It's well groomed and there is a nice layout for 27 holes. For a Kaneff course it is not very tough when compared to Lionhead or Royal Ontario.

I like the course...but don't play there on a Monday afternoon. It's ladies night and noone at clubhouse says anything when checking in. Also no indication on golf now website saying so either. If I was told I'd have to play the same 9 twice, I would have politely declined.

Fabulous Coarse green as green can be pace of play is always good and staff are great. Unfortunately I had a heart attack there 2 weeks ago and the gentleman behind the counter in pro shop along with the young girl behind the bar were of great help. They kept me calm and comfortable till Ambulance arrived and took me hospital for ultimately what was needed a stint. I was back just 15 days later and I'm very grateful for the help I was given. Thank You very much all is well.

Greens are challenging fairways are pretty straight with well placed obstacles. Our problem arose because we were playing a foursome with one novice golfer. Tee times are so close together golfers are literally playing on top of one another. If you're not prepared to run to your next ball or have to spend any time looking for your ball THIS IS NOT THE COURSE FOR YOU. We paid for 18, and only played 9...yes it was THAT bad.

If you like playing a 5+ hour round then this is the course for you ! If you like to tee off 1/2 hour after your scheduled tee time because they overbooked the course , then this is the course for you . Post game refreshments are 25% higher than any course in the area .

Just all around sub-par experience. Greens never have divots repaired and are covered in dead spots from un-repaired divots. This is purely a business not a golf club that cares about customer experience. I left my keys in the pro shop before a round and I thought I lost the keys on the course and couldn’t find them… went to the pro shop after the round and they said they didn’t have them so I spent 5 hours getting my spare from home just to get a call from the club next day saying that the keys were in the lost and found the whole time. The lazy employee didn’t even check lost and found for my keys!!!!

Played a 430 Thursday PM as juniors are Free after 4pm every Thurs.... Great program to encourage juniors and new to golf! Course was in very good shape, greens, fairways and tee boxes well maintained. Dylan, the starter was helpful in setting us off, even a couple of minutes before our tee time. A total lack of 'ANY"!! marshalling made a slow front 9, but we breezed through the back as groups dispersed over 2 nines on the back. Ive played here multiple times, it's a slower, play friendly, enjoyable course, but needs marshall presence to keep pace of play!!! Pro shop customer service could surely be "More" Friendly as Brody, the GM, needs to enjoy his job and be less curt, Smile Buddy!! Lots of inconsiderate play as 2 groups behind hit up on us, narrowly missing my 2 grandkids w their errant shots!!!! Finished in 4.45 hours, just fitting before sundown (mid August). Play friendly course that I'd readily recommend for Novice, Intermediate, ladies and junior players.
