not a bad little place, sometimes has good sales. Staff is very friendly. DO NOT TAKE THEIR ADVICE ON SHOES THOUGH. go to the running room, or a physiotherapist before, then buy what they tell you, not what the sports check ppl tell you.

It was a curbside pickup. I decided to do this when I ordered online even though the store has just opened for customers with social distancing measures in place ????They have curbside parking spots. Call the store and they will bring out your purchase and either put it on your back seat or the trunk of your vehicle. Show them your ID from inside your vehicle. Never had to get out of the car ????

I don't really know what to say or even think... I found a winter coat I liked on the website but for some reason had problems with the site when trying to cash out. I saw they had limited stock on my size and colour at the Brockville store. After looking myself and not being able to find it, I asked for help. The associate takes a quick look and tells me they must be out of stock and that she could order it for me. I follow her to the counter where there were 2 other workers that were helping her help me. The order gets placed and I head home. The next day I get an email with the shipping information. I looked and see the shipping label was created. I looked on there website and saw the coat in my size and colour that I order was now sold out at my local store. Then Monday I check tracking and see that Purolator had picked up the package in BROCKVILLE. At the same store I was already in and was told they were sold out. So instead of taking the time to look for it, they took the time to place the order to their store, then go look for it and prep it to ship. My coat is now in Montreal. No longer even in Ontario. It went from actually being in Brockville, to going to Montreal just to have to come back to Brockville. All because somebody did not want to look for it in the first place.

Waited well over 15 minutes for the sole employee working the shoe section to assist us, only to have her run off and start assisting someone else the second we got our shoes to try on. Meanwhile the other patrons before us got her attention for a lot longer than 3 seconds.

The manager is RUDE When I went in to make a return there was a sign on the door that read they would not be accepting returns until 3 days later. I went in anyways to find out why. The manager said it was because they were having a massive sales event and it was too busy. I asked “so you then randomly decide not to accept returns?” And told her I live far from the store. She exclaimed “randomly!? Have you walked through the store? It’s a mess!” And then told the cashier to do the return. I said thank you. The manager was beyond rude in her tone, body language, facial expression, and choice of words. The cashier who processed the return was also rude. I will NEVER spend another dollar at this store location.

I have been a customer of this store for many years. Today my son and I went into the store to get a new pair of gym shoes for myself. My son asked the salesman if he had a pair of those type in a different color, he stood there looking at us like we had grown horns or something. He then proceeded to inform us that they didnt carry any good new balance shoes and I should take my business to a new balance store. Poor service and attitude I won't be back.

Expensive, expensive, expensive. They have deals but the prices are so high it doesn't matter. Skate sharpening isn't good. The selection is awesome. but most products are cheaply made. I got a hockey helmet there I love it but I would not buy skates. You can buy same products elsewhere much cheaper. Oakley selection isn't good.

This has nothing to do with the Cornwall store. They are awesome. This has to do with the online service. It’s terrible. I tried ordering something online and the order did not connect with PayPal properly. PayPal has been very helpful through all this but sportcheck online has not. 2 phone calls and 3 emails later no help. They just keep saying deal with PayPal. I mentioned every time I want to the items I purchased but never offered to help me. (Only reason I’m ordering is Cornwall store is out of stock) They lost a sale and an online customer. I’ll take my chances and deal locally and purchase something else.

Very bad service in bike repair, didn't do half of the work I requested. Messed up my back brakes, put the tire & innertube on wrong. Tire wasn't aligned with frame, almost caused me to fall. Won't be going back there for repairs. Cheapest place in town to get innertubes though

They aren't overly helpful or knowledgeable about sportswear and aren't willing to fix mistakes. Recently, I tried on new skates and they felt great, they had to keep them for 3-4 hours to do the first sharpening (some vague reasoning) and when I finally got them home they did not feel like the same skates (obviously digging in where they had not before). When I asked about it the girl just went "weird" and stared away from me sheepishly. The store used to be better and I used to shop there frequently (Sports Experts), but recent experiences have driven me off as a customer.

Came in today with my roommate to buy some new running shoes, we were helped by an associate named Morgan. She was unbelievably kind and helpful. I had some questions about some different trainers vs runners and my roommate about some boots and she was quick to answer all our questions. I have never wrote a review about someone before but I felt the need to post about the wonderful experience I had with Morgan, because of her we will definitely be back again.

I came all the way form Montreal because I have very large feet and it's hard to find 4E shoes in Québec. I tried something like 15 pairs and sadly only 3 fit. They were very patient and understanding of my condition. I really recommend this store.

I went the other day and was blown away by how helpful one employee was! Cam M helped me and my son get all the supplies needed for my sons first season of hockey. Not only that, but he showed true honesty with products, knew about literally almost everything in the store, and was incredibly kind. I sure hope he’s a manager because it seems like he does it all! A friend of mine works at this location so i feel bad about this review but my experience with sport chek has been an absolute nightmare. Bought a coat for xmas. The zipper broke, took it back and got another one. Zipper broke again. Took it back again. Picked out a different coat and the girl at the desk ordered it for me in my size and told me the colour was a light grey but told me there was no picture of it. I go home and I get the confirmation email for my new order and its BROWN. I called the websale people and had them cancel it right away and they issued an egift card to the wrong email x3. 4 days later I finally get the egift card to order another one. Here i am in the middle of January in Canada with no coat because the one I ordered 3 days ago just got cancelled because they don't have the stock they say they do online. First and last purchase for me. Maybe i will have a coat for next winter.

Wish zero stars was an option. I asked an associate for assistance finding Under Armour or base layer for my kid - the individual indicated they didnt have anything like that. I CLARIFIED "you dont have under armour for youth?" He said: "no." I told front desk about my experience and the individual helped me find what I needed. Later on the Manager, aporoached me to discuss. I explained what occured and all he could do was blame me for "not being specific enough"? All while defending his associate for being new - all the kid had to do was ask for help. The manager was confrontational, aggresive, and his knowledge of sports gear seemed extremely limited. I will drive to Ottawa or Kingston in the future an hour drive is better than dealing with a store like this. The young lady at the cash did provide excellent service.
