Great place. This was my first time golfing so I have nothing to compare the facility to but to me, it was a great experience. The pricing was pretty good, the staff very friendly and there was lots of room on the really nice driving range. They also let you use clubs for free for the driving range!

The change rooms are fancy as f***. I accidentally tried to wash my hands with mouth wash, because I'm just not used to that kinda stuff being in a change room. The curling ice ok, but the whole lounge etiquette / how they treat a curler walking into the bar is not great. If you're going to treat put of club curlers that way, stop offering your ice for bonspiels.

I attend the Hunt Club every week for lunch with the Ottawa Executive Association. (OXA) Super impressed with the food, the view of the golf course, the parking, and of course all the OXA Members I lunch with. A great perk of business ownership!

Went to the CP Woman's Open. Golf course was in exceptional shape. Food prices are ridiculous ($5 for bottled water). Good access from parking lot on nearby forces base. Well organized.

With golf entering into a boom period after World War I, with enormous demand for new facilities, the Ottawa Hunt Club expanded into golf in 1919. Its South and West nines, usually paired together as its main tournament course, were designed by Willie Park, Jnr. (1864−1925), a two-time British Open champion (1887, 1889), one of the era's top golf architects, and a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. Its curling facility was opened in 1959, and has six sheets of ice. The golf course was redesigned, mainly for its green complexes, by Tom McBroom in 1989. The club's latest renovation, with a primary aim to implement more expansive practice facilities, was performed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan in 2013; this work reduced the par from 72 to 71, as one par-four hole was replaced by a new par-three hole.

This was a nice venue for a wedding. The grounds were well manicured and the ambiance was nice. Some very friendly wait staff there - especially John. The food was okay - the Yorkshire pudding was a miss though... but that's a hard one to get right.

I had the salmon BLT and french onion soup. The BTL was very good. The french onion was pretty terrible. There was about half and inch of oil floating on the soup and very little cheese on top.

I've been a curling member for six years, and a golfing member for two. A very welcoming club for new members, with absolutely none of the "snootiness" you might expect at a high-end club. On the curling side of the club, 6 sheets of arguably the best ice in the Ottawa area, with a very active curling agenda; yet, there is room for many more curlers to join any of the leagues. And there is an amazing Learn to Curl program for anyone wanting to learn about the game (just call the Club for info). On the golf side of the club, there are three 9-hole courses to play, and they are just a superb pleasure, with the best maintenance in town! You don't have to believe me, read about it in Golf Digest. And the club hosted the LPGA championship in 2017, with resounding reviews. There is much more to discover with the social activities offered, plus a year-round lounge, dining room, banquet facility, and meeting rooms for both members use and guests use. Check it out. I am sure glad my wife and I did!

I do not play golf, thus my review can be ignored. I wanted to post it about their restaurant. The beef was raw and there was no option for well done. The air conditioner was blowing freezing air in my neck. The head waiter refused to fix the problem. We had to leave prematurely

We will be celebrating our wedding there in a couple months and they are a wonderful location to work with. The food options are amazing and they staff are super helpful and knowledgable. Also the location is naturally gorgeous and you need very little for decorations. Finally they are also one of the cheapest options for a formal wedding within the city limits, we are saving $1000s over the Museums and the venue is so much nicer.

Best golf and curling club Ottawa. When I joined i never looked back. Friends, spouse, exercise, leisure and curling. The best family 4 season club. And the staff are totally focused on the club members. If you don t curl, sifn up for the learn to curl program. Nice way to try it out and find a nice fun fit.

Possibly the most demanding golf course in the Ottawa area. Each green is protected in some manner or other: bunkers, water, topography or some combination of the above. It's not overly long, but miss a fairway and you'll no doubt pay a price. Everything was in great condition.

Private golf and country club was only there for the ladies PGA tournament. The course looked in great shape. Lots of parking offsite with frequent shuttles to the event . Wish it was there every year. Of course knowing someone on tour makes it more exciting!
