The North course is in very good condition, especially considering last winter. It is no worse than anywhere else in Ottawa, and definitely better than several other places. Civilian green fee was a bit pricy. Grateful for the invitation and a chance to finally play Hylands

Great way to get outside. You can snowshoe, xc ski or fat bike. There is 5, 9 and 13 km loops. Friendly and helpful staff. The kid rentals go fast so, go early or call ahead.

Been a member for years. Best value in the National Capital region. Two 18's. Two practice areas. 3 putting greens. Great driving range now with optional mats. Electric Carts, pro shop and club house. Mackenzie tour played there on North Course. Great members and youth program. DND affiliated. Located adjacent to Ottawa international airport (YOW). If you like great Golf and planes, this place is for you.

Have always wanted to play this course and finally got the chance for a tournament. Course was in great shape, greens were consistent and even for a tournament the pace of play was 4hrs and 15 minutes.

A nice, traditional style golf course with relatively broad fairways surrounded by beautiful mature trees. Hylands is a military golf course, but civilians are welcome to join. There's two full 18 hole courses that can both be a challenge.

It was a wonderful evening. We were acknowledged right away by Chantal and her service is first class. Thank you. Also want to mention all 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. My steak was better than the Keg steak. Everything was hot, fresh and tasty. Thank you once again. We entertained our friends from the United States and their comment was that the meal was phenomenal!!

I joined Hyland's golf club and I was so impressed with, the course greens and t box all was immaculate with the exception of a dated club house and pro shop, I was quite proud of playing there and invite my friends to play with me. This year however is a complete different disgusting story. All members are being told it’s the harsh winter which I question that because surroundings golf clubs such as The Hunt Club and two other golf clubs that I visited all have a regular opening and greens are perfectly fine. Mother Nature or bad management ? all members now are forced to play on a course that looks like a battle field, with no greens and unacceptable temporary pin locations. Management making themselves very clear that no compensation will be made even though in my view both courses should be closed for the 2019 season. Very sad and disappointed for all members !!!

Good deal if you're under 35. Memberships are biased by age group. Active mil member/dependents over the age of 36 and retirees pay substantially more than military members or any civilian under the age of 35. It's another example of how poor we are at recognizing the sacrifice made by our career military members, it's even worst when they are burnt by the organization that is suppose to represent them. PSP you're doing a poor job. So if you're in the 36 plus group I suggest you find membership elsewhere as most public golf courses in the area have a $1000 to $1200 dollar membership to offer.

Awesome location for winter activities, groomed cross county ski trails, with varying length loops for long or short days. Fat bikes are available for rent and are super fun to take down the trails.
