Nice, well maintained course but was a little backed up halfway through. Four groups all bunched up at each tee off which became very frustrating. Clubhouse is a little tired but food staff are great and the food is very good.

This is my first time golfing this place, and had the wonderful experience. Staff is super friendly and very professional. Golf course is beautiful. I had the best time here.

Had a great time at this course. I'll admit when I pulled into the parking lot it was a bit underwhelming but once we golfed the Legacy we were all very pleased with the condition of the course. It's a very long and challenging course and for those of you that are on the fence between walking and carting, be aware that the holes are very spaced out and there are some very "hilly" parts. If you're not in the best health, could be a challenge.

The Greensmere is my favorite place to play in Ottawa. The driving range, chipping Green and putting green is maintained better then too many courses around. Lots of elevation on the Legacy course to challenge a seasoned golfer and premier offers a bit more forgiveness in the fairways. Great atmosphere all around.

Jammed. Disappointed how busy they were with Covid ongoing. Business as usual at Greensmere unfortunately. People stacked on top of others. There are better course options for social distancing. Manderley has people teeing off every 20 minutes as an example. Just as a golf course it was beautifully maintained

We just had a 50th anniversary catered by Amanda from Chef on Thyme at Greensmere and the food was absolutely amazing! The portions were generous, and everyone was wowed by the fantastic flavours and presentation. Thanks for the amazing meal!

Played Legacy on Sunday June 13th. Greens were firm and fast with no signs of winter issues. When I was able to find them, the fairways were in great shape as well. I forgot how unforgiving many of the holes are on Legacy, but it was great getting out for the challenge. Staff did an amazing job with COVID protocols, and honestly despite the seemingly packed tee sheet, the course felt very quiet. Perhaps there are some times being reserved to ensure distancing.

The course itself is great but I've given four stars because of one particular Marshall who was very rude to our entire group. Our group is less experienced with golf and He spoke with us rudely right off the bat and then he ridiculed us for golfing off of the red tee-off point, stating it was "the lady's tee off". He would not give us space to start our game and only left once one of us hit a good shot. Rubbed us the wrong way for the first hole but by hole 5 the beautiful scenery and fun course made us forget all about it! Would highly recommend to any golfer looking for a challenge.

Dear golf community, Once you make the turn into Greensmere, you're immediately greeted by a slightly less cool version of Rickey Fowler, dressed head to toe in Ill-fitting puma attire. If you're like me, and just the thought of someone wearing puma gear makes you weak in the knees, then maybe this isn't the course for you. With that being said, Greensmere offers the public two 18's ( Premiere & Legacy ) with one being far superior to the other. Premiere, the older and weaker or the two 18's, plays like any other random run of the mill type of courses you're going to spend $60 to play. Legacy, the newer of the two, is far more challenging, and a whole lot more fun to play. Legacy has one of the best layouts in the city, yet the fairways continue to keep this course from becoming an elite place to play. Premiere 6.2 Legacy 7.1 #enjoy

I had a great time golfing the Legacy course at Greensmere. The course was in excellent condition considering how hot and dry the weather has been. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens were all in tip top shape. Greensmere is definitely the best course I’ve played in Ottawa. The layout of the course is great. You can tell that the holes have been designed by someone who cares. I really enjoyed the elevated greens and the challenge of the large ponds and thoughtfully places bunkers. The marshal on the legacy course was very friendly and informative. The staff in general seemed to care about golfer experience. The only negative was that the guy working in the pro shop wasn’t friendly or welcoming. On the back 9 we called to ask if the beverage cart could be sent our way because we hadn’t seen it yet and it was 38 degrees. The man working at the pro shop appeared to take offence to our friendly request and reacted very negatively. It didn’t devalue our experience at this great course, but it was certainly unpleasant. Everyone has bad days, I guess. Overall, our round at Greensmere was great. I’ll certainly be going back.

Great course Played the Legacy course and loved it . A little jammed and would have been nice to see a Marshall out to keep groups moving but all in all i cant wait to go back

Excellent Course! I played the Premiere course and it was in great condition. A few greens had some patchy spots but overall really good. The green's played fast. Fairways were green, it was like hitting off of carpet! Front 9 was wide open links style and the back 9 was a little more narrow with some very scenic holes and lots of elevation changes. Tee boxes were all green and leveled for the most part. Pace of play was the best I've played all year. The starter made us wait untill group was on the green on the first tee and didn't have to wait the rest off the round and didn't see anyone behind us all round. Starter was very friendly and the cart girl , bar staff and pro shop staff all very friendly. Enjoyed the round and will be back next weekend to try the Legacy course. Highly recommend this course. One of the nicer courses in the west end. I think its better then Loch March and it is a bit cheaper.

Played today around noon. The course was packed but the pace was good. Greens are very good and rolling very well. Fairways and tee boxes are well maintained. One of the best course in Ottawa this year.

Played the Legacy with wife and daughter this morning. Course is in awesome shape even with the dry summer. Challenging yet large greens to aim for. All three of us agreed on going back for sure. Staff were friendly and helpful. 5 stars all the way around.
