I am looking for a place to play fairly regularly for the next 20 yrs or so.....new cottage owner in the area. Wrote to the "contact us" part of the website with a number of questions. Got an answer from Tonya...co-owner.....very succinct....."phone the pro shop" and "rates are posted on the website". As short and unhelpful as one can get....no effort whatsoever to help me find the answers to several questions in the email. If the answer to all of this is " phone the pro shop", whats the point of "contact us". I will be golfing at another course in the area that was happy to help me thoroughly and even gave me info i didnt ask for.....
ADDED AFTER OWNERS RESPONSE.....i dont disagree with anything you say.....you could have easily answered that way in the email instead of the way you did. I did not ask to go out ahead of regulars..in fact i agree with you...i would never suggest that i deserve to be in a position to disrupt your regulars.....i asked was it possible to get out first....an answer of "no, we have regular members who have that slot would have been a fine answer. Also, i said....im very flexible to play as a single or with others.......but obviously something in my email set you off.....i guess that comes with having a full slate at a busy course.....i hope you never find yourself in a position where you are trying to attract new members because as one who could have easily been led down that path, your approach didnt, and doesnt work for me.
