Fantastic place. The Victoria Golf Club happens to be the oldest private golf club in Canada and was established before the country! The staff are warm, friendly and very helpful. If golf is your passion, this is definitely a wonderful place to play. They also boast the ability to play golf all year round. Looking forward to coming back!

Not a golfer, but I used Victoria Golf Club for my wedding venue, and I could not be happier I did! They were an amazing choice, beautiful spot, and an awesome venue to work with. If you're considering a wedding spot make sure you check them out! I would highly recommend.

I have had opportunity to attend several functions at the lovely club house. The food is average and the service is nice. The environment is beautiful. there is ample parking. But the entrance is dark and hard to find at night. Overall this is a nice mid-grade facility with reasonable prices. Would recommend for an event.

They don't call it Pebble Beach North for nothing. The course is one of a kind in Canada with more than a 1/3 of the holes surrounded by stunning ocean vistas that can take your breath away. It doesn't matter how long you are on this course because the greens are undulating and diabolical (generally running around 11 on the Stimp) to protect par. If you get a chance you must play this course once in your lifetime.

We were here for a wedding that was held on the golf course. Even though it was cloudy that day it was a beautiful place for a wedding to be held. The view across the water was lovely! Also the wedding reception put on by the golf club was very well organized and the food was delicious. Great service and atmosphere!

very nice surroundings, Scott Kolb is a fantastic gentleman and very professional. 1 star lost, not for the staff or facility but for some of the the older pretentious haughty members who think a little to highly of themselves , poor sportsman/woman that ruin the fun and beauty of the game and witnessed the talking down to of staff by them also

Our daughter is doing the junior development program here. We have been impressed with the program. The communication is great and we love that they send us schedule in advance for each week so we know what skills pur child will be working on that week. Our daughter is really enjoyinh the progeam here, it is miles ahead of other local junior programs.

What a picturesque private course. If you ever get a chance to play here you will not be disappointed. Most of the first 9 holes are played along the coastline which makes for some stunning views. Not uncommon to see deer wandering around the course and eagles flying overhead.

We held a conflict resolution workshop at the facility on October 17, 2017. The staff were excellent and the event manager, Christine Bryne, was terrific. This was my first full day event and her advice was excellent. I was a little reluctant about her menu recommendations, but she was spot on. She recommended the salmon which was very popular. There was a little bit too much noise from the kitchen early on in the day. Staff shouting could be clearly heard during the presentation. I spoke to the staff about it and it did improve. I have used a number of venues in Victoria for various sized events including the Union Club, the Marriot, and the Faculty Club. I prefered the food at VGC and the staff were wonderful. The free parking was a determinative factor in choosing this venue. I would recommend the facility for small groups and professional presentations. It was excellent value for money.

Pebble Beach North! If you have any chance to play this course definitely do so. Especially in the early morning. Great views and wonderful conditions. Best on the rare non-windy days. A couple of holes are close to the road which tests nerve and accuracy. The coastal holes only put lost balls at risk. One of the most beautiful golf courses in BC.
