save your money the kids run the golf course. When i first was greeted at the " front door" was instantly asked who i was and what i was doing here. Not your typical welcome to our golf course. Next when i asked for clarification of my tee time they wouldnt respond claiming they didnt have my info. Next i went to the bar and was asked to wear 2 masks or "get lost!" this after a 78 dollar 9 hole fee. Save your money and go spend it on a better course the pro shop boys must have a rich daddy

Great tourist course…beautiful views. Not my favourite ‘golfers course’. Lots of target golf…not a lot of driver holes. Could use better signage on the course and around the facility.

Just left their New Years Eve Party. A little disappointed with what you got for $125 per person. Appetizers were not anything exciting. Only 1 bartender for the whole evening! Line ups were ridiculous and you had to wait 20-30minutes for a drink. The performances were great though!

Very friendly staff, clean facility, pretty clubhouse, well-maintained courses but also quite challenging due to narrow fairways. Irons only at the practice range. 18 holes walkable. 17th hole was a beauty!

We had our wedding at Olympic View and were met with great service and a spectacular day. Everyone was accommodating, the food was fantastic and we cannot thank the General Manager, Randy Frank and Banquet Manager Katerina Milne enough. Great course and a great find for the twilight price. More than reasonable! Can be a challenging course but the entire course is in great shape. Easily one of the best golf courses in Victoria/surrounding area.

Very challenging public course. 17 is probably one of the most beautiful in all of BC. As pretty as it is unforgiving. Amazing course, well kept. Get a cart, it's a decent walk.

Arguably one of the best golf courses in Victoria, BC, Olympic View Golf Club is impeccably maintained and provides great service. The waterfall on Hole 17 makes this Vancouver Island golf course truly "islandesque". I also hear the burgers are legendary!

A nice course, with a friendly and helpful staff. My only gripe is the white tees are nearly 6200 yards. The next set is about 5400 yards. 6200 is pretty long for most average golfers so it was a struggle distance wise. Love to see a tee box at 5800, would be a far better experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed my round at Olympic View. Service was top notch for this Victoria golf course. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition, especially given the warm dry summer we've had on Vancouver Island. Restaurant tip: get a spot on the patio at Forester's Bistro overlooking the 18th green and order the Wild Sockey Salmon Pita Wrap. Super tasty!

Been using Olympic View for many years as a teaching venue. Location speaks for itself - the views are outstanding, as is the service. Staff are professional and take care of all our needs. Always. Always a good day when I can golf Olympic View golf course. Course is very well kept and the greens are smooth and professional. Beautiful wide open spaces with stunning views. Carts are clean and powerful. The restaurant at Olympic View Golf Course is wonderful. The food is delicious, fresh, made with quality ingredients and so reasonably priced for the quality and portions. The staff is "superior" ! Such kind, helpful, friendly people !

What a great course we really enjoyed it. First time golfing in Victoria with my girlfriends. Staff all super friendly!! Bought a golf shirt in Pro Shop and forgot it in our golf cart. Phoned and talked to Bryce and asked if there was anyway he could mail it to me because I was in my way to the airport!! He said he would absolutely get it to me. So super impressed and would recommend this course!!

Got to play the course for the first time on July 19, and had a fantastic time. I was fortunate to have my twosome paired with Tyler, one of the courses new PGA pros. He was both very knowledgeable about the course, saving me multiple strokes, and also a pleasure to golf with. The course itself was in great shape and fun to play, making you use every club in the bag.

Never played it before and would go back in a heartbeat - beautiful course with lots of old growth Forest. Beautiful scenery with healthy fairways and greens - extremely challenging course...yikes...recommend putting the woods away and enjoy smaller hits with your irons...you just might survive. Many fairways are narrow and tough with their layout - a true challenge of a course - would give Bear Mountain a run on some holes, in my opinion. Put away your Woods and bring a bag of balls. Beautiful Clubhouse with nice Deck and nice views - pleasant, efficient staff offering good drink and food selection at decent prices.

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception here on October 24, 2020. It was a beautiful day and everything went so smoothly! All of the Covid protocols were in place and enforced and made our guests feel comfortable during an anxious time. We had tons of comments from our guests about how fantastic the food was and how great the servers were! Katrina was amazing to work with and helped us plan our dream wedding (even during covid). A huge thank you to everyone at Olympic View Golf Course for making our day so special and one we will never forget!

Very friendly staff. We had a mixup about tee times and they tried their best to accommodate us. Great views and yes there might be deer on the course you will have to avoid hitting towards. Will definitely be back ????

Went to Tuesday “Date Night” and it was phenomenal! Shrimp tacos to start, seafood pasta and Indonesian sticky ribs ( 100% recommend). Lastly raspberry cheesecake to finish. Pair that up with their 1/2 bottles of wine and it made for a great date night.

Wow, it is a great golf course and you really need a cart. The views of the city is awesome. There is a lot of trouble to be found with the surrounding woody area. The staff at the pro shop was really accommodating and there are some great deals to be found like the 18 hole with dinner including cart. Well worth trying if you are in the Victoria area. It took almost 5 hours for the round. It is a difficult course and it is in great shape.

Not a bad course. Has some tough holes as well as nice scenery. Unfortunately we were rushed off the course for a shotgun tournament. Wish they would have told us before we booked our trip! The staff were nice and very apologetic.

The great staff make all the difference at this course. Everyone makes you feel welcome and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure your visit is enjoyable. The course was in fine condition for the dry season, such as it is.

If you like doing a 6 hour 18 hole this is your course. Marshall didn’t do much about it after complaining multiple times. Groups were teeing off in the middle of the holes causing 3/4 groups on the same hole at a time.

We got married at Olympic View Golf Club on August 10th 2019, and I could not have picked a better venue for the event. Katrina was so helpful with the entire planning process and was always willing to meet and chat about any concerns or questions we had. She took care of everything on the day of, and helped to coordinate the other vendors as they came to set up their services. On the actual day it was pouring rain and we had the option to move our ceremony inside but we chose to keep it outside and luckily the rain stopped just in time for our ceremony to start. The outdoor ceremony spot is gorgeous and there are many stunning areas to have photos taken on location. We had our reception in the ballroom and it was set up beautifully by the Olympic View staff. Our guests loved the food and it was nice to have some outdoor space on the patio for our guests to cool down after dancing or have somewhere quieter to talk. Overall our experience working with Olympic View Golf Club was great and everything went smoothly. I felt like I didn't have to worry about anything on our wedding day thanks to the staff at Olympic View!

Absolutely incredible course. Half the price of some other courses in town and 3 times as enjoyable. Many courses claim they make you use every club, but this one delivers while still being accessible to those who don't hit it long. Cut through forest with next to no houses in sight, its perfection. If you are visiting Victoria and can play only one round, make it here

I had the halibut awhile ago. Fry's were good, coleslaw needed to be revamped and the halibut, was awesome. Tonight, however, fry's were overdone, coleslaw had the acid it needed but I missed the Sesame oil and the halibut, well, they shouldn't have went back to the beer battered. The crust was so soggy I had to remove it.

Olympic View is a very well maintained course, if you are looking for a relaxing and gorgeous round then definitely set a tee time. Not overly challenging if you are on top of your game.

Worst course in Victoria. If your pace is 10/15 mins late because one of the players is a high handicap golfer, the "course concierge" guy is gonna rip you! They yell at you, they send you the message via golf cart, they assault you multiple times. They are doing business in an extremely aggressive manner like you never paid the green fee. Be cautious! I am not coming back again/ever. Bear mountain is a way better course in terms of respect.

What a horrible experience..yesterday at the superbowl tournament.You get charged $150. And served slop!!!food you wouldn't even give your dog....and then watch the guy drawing numbers for prizes looking through the numbers to find certain preferred groups to send to the prize table.And for most it was a hat or T-shirt or some other piece of crap that wouldn't sell in the pro-shop...They should be ashamed of what happened yesturday.

Played the course the other day on our honeymoon and we really enjoyed this course. Played with some very nice members who were helpful on the course. Beautiful landscape. Greens, fairways and bunkers were all in great shape. No complaints from us coming from Regina, would definitely play again if the chance comes up. Went up for a bite to eat in the beautiful clubhouse afterwards and the food was good with great service.

We needed a large venue for my large family and my husband's massive number of family friends. Olympic View came up as one of the option locally with reasonable pricing and a really gorgeous location. I don't even feel sad that our options were limited because this venue was just absolutely perfect. The Events Coordinator Katrina is one of the most friendly and accommodating people you will ever meet. We had so many requests and adjustments and I so appreciated her reminders to confirm different information while we were in the planning stages. The location was great, the food was exceptional, and I would recommend Olympic View to everyone, because they really made the day just absolutely perfect.

Had our staff Christmas party at this location and it was really nice. Food was excellent, the service staff was super polite and friendly and helpful. The communication with Katrina was excellent and the bill was exactly what we had agreed upon and expected. Highly recommend this venue for any parties or receptions based on this experience!

One of Vancouver Islands top golf courses. Strategic golf needed to score well. Lots of elevation changes and super fast greens make scoring well pretty difficult.
