The course was in great shape,but the staff was Awesome.We played Sunday @ 1057 and Nate,in pro shop went above and beyond to accommodate us during these covid times.. Very unusual in todays "world". This has got to be the most beautifully landscaped golf course on the planet. The restaurant serves decently tasting and priced food as well. The 9-hole Ridge Course across the road is part of this business and is great for a quick 9 holes or to practice your putting skills.

I had the pleasure of finally playing at Cordova Bay last week when the weather was really nice. The course was in great condition although it was difficult to find the golf balls with too many fallen leaves throughout the course. I think this is a great course for seniors because the whole course is laid out on a flat ground with no up and downs. No need to rent the power cart! It was a good change from always playing at challenging courses like highlands and olypmpic view. I would definitely come back here to treat my parents and friends.

First course I have played after relocating to Victoria. Staff were friendly and when the tee time was delayed by 15 minutes we were provided with free range balls. Course is very well maintained and the price is very fair for the quality of the course. I suspect I will become a regular here :)

Not playing golf on this visit but having lunch. The food was "OK" at best as was the service. A bit on the pricey side for such basic lunch staples. I carefully explained my order (twice) to the server (food sensitivities) and my meal was still wrong. The decor is getting to be a bit long in the tooth but perhaps it suits their demographic which appeared to be a bit on the older side. Lots of room for improvement. I'd give them another chance. But only one.

An incredible course. One of the best maintained I have ever played on - those fairways are epic. Challenging greens that will keep you on your toes all day. Staff are friendly and marshals keep everyone on pace. The 4 legged green keepers are abundant, but are friendly so don't worry if you walk up on one. I know I will be back!!

Great course to play. Not too tight off the tee so if you're a bit erratic off the tee you can still bomb away on the big stick. Green fees are on the high side, but id recommended playing here for sure.

Great course and well maintained. The staff are normally friendly but the starter can be miserable and arrogant. March 26, 2021 he was again miserable and unwelcoming. Not a nice way to start a round or be introduced to the course.

Prime location and beautiful surroundings! Stunning views and golf facilities within 20 mins from downtown. Highly recommend this place specially if it’s sunny out. Reserve your tee time or go to the driving range and enjoy this place. And have a bite afterwards! Great customer service and lots of parking.

Beautiful public course and well taken care of. According to a local, there is a full time horticulturists on site which shows from all the lush vegetation. Although we did not get to play due to a tournament going on, we did enjoy using the driving range. We also saw numerous deer on the course.

beautiful place to learn golf. We had lessons with Corey and he was so friendly(of course other staff, too.). We were a group of family(two adults and two children) who never played golf before. It's always a pleasure to play golf at Cordova Bay. Both the Ridge and The Bay course are meticulously maintained and seeing yearly improvements. The Bay course in particuar has a wonderful diversity of wildlife, which makes for a lovely experience to compliment the game. The course members I have played with are great people and kind towards begginers such as myself. I highly reccomend Cordova Bay to beginners and experienced players alike, as every hole offers a unique challenge, but just the right amount of forgiveness for those who are just starting their journey of golf. 5 stars.

Great course layout and condition. Unfortunately I just had the most disappointing client service conversation with the head pro, Jim Goddard. I had made a tee time at a rate in good faith based on what an employee had told me. He called back the next day to say that the rate I’d been told was incorrect and that the rate was $21 higher. Rather than follow through on his employee’s mistaken promise, he would not honour the rate I’d been told. I expressed surprise that his approach was unlike so many businesses I’d dealt with before that honour mispriced merchandise. Admittedly I was not happy but was completely professional with my choice of language. He was dismissive and condescending and stated that he did not want my patronage. I’m new to the area and in the last two weeks I’ve arranged three times for a foursome to play at Cordova Bay. I’m shocked and disappointed by Jim’s approach and tone but as he said there are lots of other courses in the area for me to play. Who would say that other than an arrogant, out of touch business owner? I, and my buddies, will take Jim’s advice to play other courses and I suggest you do the same. It’s a shame the course has such tone deaf leadership.

Brian Hann is the man! To all you golfers out there, if you want to improve your golf game, I can't recommend enough hiring Brian. Within only a few sessions, I'm amazed how much he's helped my golf game. Over the past few years, I tried to dissect my own golf problems, asked my buddies for feedback, but nothing seemed to help. The course was great. However the dining experience was not. There were 4 of us and only 1 person was happy with their meal. Two of us had the beef burger which was extremely dry. Just a dab of BBQ sauce. We had to ask for mayo. The quesadilla was not very good either. We were quite disappointed as we we have eaten here before and had good meals. The server was pleasant and efficient. No complaints there.

Hadn't golfed this course in 15 years but the other courses were "cart path only" and Cordova Bay is walkable. The staff is very friendly and the course in excellent shape inspite of all the rain they had. Nice restaurant attached to the club house. We enjoyed the course so much we ended up golfing it 2 days in a row.

Booked a round for four players, had to cancel one person due to illness. Gave course 2 hours notice to fill the spot with a single. Wouldn't refund prepaid green fees. Same situation next day at another course and they did. Not great service- we are going to choose other courses for our trip this year.
