The golf course is in the best shape I've seen it in years. They must be putting some money into it finally. We got our tee time today at 11:30 off golf now for 36.00 each with a cart. Pretty reasonable. It was pretty busy today so it took close to 5 hours to play. It's a bit of a drive from Hamilton but if you can get a good deal it's worth the drive. Years ago if we had a hot dry summer the course would be brown all over with hard fairways and greens but right now it's green and plush and in really good shape.

I have golfed many times at this local golf course run by the county and have always had a good experience. It is a little more challenging than some of the other courses around here but is well maintained and mature. Food is also very good.

Probably one of the best courses in the area for the money. They've toned down some of the hazards and opened up some of the holes to make them more accessible over the past 5-10 years.

This is one of my favourite local golf courses. It is a bit more expensive than some others but the course layout is great! I really enjoy playing this course and there are some really great holes that are challenging. My favourite hole is number one as it plays into my fade nicely.

First time through was tough, and I want another crack at it. Long second shots make alot of the holes tougher than expected. Massive trees in a few spots cut off alot of angles so you need to put it on the correct side of the fairway for approach shots. Greens are nice. I'll update when I improve my round score lol

Oaks of St. George is a hidden gem of Southern Ontario. Not a long course with the back tees being just short 6200 yards. It will still challenge golfers of all levels with beautiful undulating fairways and a few elevated tees.

First time I've played this course this year and it is in worse shape than Grand Valley. Horrible fairways and diseased rotted out Greens made for a horrible day of golf. Not sure what happened? It was a decent track. Did golf north do it again? I don't see myself playing this course again. Stay away!

Came from London to play this course for the first time and I gotta say it was well worth the drive. Very nice course , well maintained with a layout that really makes you think about shot placement. Lots of amenities including a driving range, practice green, an on-course ranger and a decent clubhouse. I highly recommend this course and am already looking forward to playing it again.

Sliding badly since Golf North took over. Used to be one of my favourites. Dried out. Carts are garbage. Paths are bumpy and poorly maintained. Disappointing.

Well kept and nice pace of play. The only thing I will add is that the starter person questioned the ability to play from gold tees being afraid it will slow the pace of PLAY. I think if you pay to play you should be able to tee off from whichever color you like and then if you are slow something should be mentioned. Just an unnecessary comment at the time. Let's all be kind to each other and enjoy the game.

There to were two starters near the first tee stationed under a tent. The first guy walk past our group sat down at his desk never once look up and started to dictate very abruptly to us like we were children. He informed us what we could or couldn't do. His last words were no exception. No public relations ability at all. The second gentleman a Scottish chap I believe notice our reaction. He immediately walk over to us and was very pleasant had a much better approach. The course was cart path only as course a little wet still which made course overpriced for the conditions. Grass cutting operations were also being done it seemed at every hole. Very annoying screaming machinery. Most crews idle machines down while golfers are hitting. Some did some didn't,

Course was in excellent condition. Pace of play very slow possibly due to ladies day. A twosome in front of us would hit mulligans off the t box 50 yrs sideways while we waited. Possibly a marshal could speed up play. 4 stars for course condition and 1 star for pace.

The course was nice enough. Greens were okay. Most fairways were cooked. Classic Golf North though. 30-40 minute wait for carts. If there is no carts available then maybe that’s a sign you have over booked? Decided to walk instead. Pace of play is also terrible. No Marshall. We waited 5-10 minutes on every single tee box. At one point there was 3 different groups on one tee box waiting. But it $31 for 18 so I might go mid week and see if it’s better.

Fantastic layout and the length of holes varied so you get to use all of your clubs. The greens were recently air raided so they not as good as they normally are. Definitely a course worth playing again.

The course is in good shape for this time of year. The pace was pretty decent. Only gripe was whoever is cutting the holes is not inserting the cup deep enough into the ground. The cup was so high on a short putt the ball popped our and another the cup was almost even with the green.

Course was not in its best shape on September 8. It really got slammed by the rain storm on Tuesday night. Bunkers were all washed out, greens were really soft and slow.

Great day for September golf. Course in great shape. Greens were firm but true. Got deal on under par last February for 2 golfers, cart, bucket of balls each on range and 2 $5. Coupons for lunch for $40. Great deal. Pace of play was bang on sign in cart said 2 hrs for front and 2 hrs 10 mins for back we did it in 10 more minutes but we did stop for sausage on bun, beer and macadamia nut cookies at nine. We were paired up with 2 younger lads who were very respectful. I was the only right handed golfer at great disadvantage as this course is definitely a left handed golfers dream course. Still had a great day. Only blemish is the tee boxes were quite beaten up and contained lots of broadleaf weeds. Definitely return to play again.

The course is nicely laid out but the maintenance here is seriously lacking. Greens are in terrible shape with burn spots and patches all over. Pretty typical for a Golf North property these days. Pace of play was pretty good as we did a full round on a weekend afternoon in 4 hours. Not a record by any means but respectable enough.

I played this course with my son last week and thought it was beautiful. 9 holes with nice elevation changes. The course was well manicured. My 2 complaints...the fairways were very narrow. This is the tightest course I have played in Ontario (and I have played well over 150 courses) They need to widen them. The other is that the course is not registered with golf Canada so I couldn't enter my score for my handicap. I called the course after and they said that they decided not to register with golf Canada for some reason!!! Apparently I did some research and it only costs a golf club $50-$100 per year!! Either way I will definitely play this course again!!

Fairways are in decent shape but greens and tee boxes are a mess. This course costs about $70 with a cart, and in its present condition is disappointing and overpriced. It's a real shame since this course was once considered one of the best in the area.

Lovely and picturesque course that’s mostly well organized during COVID - we were disappointed that there weren’t marshalls helping with pace of play, the people in front of us were extremely slow and the people behind were playing too close and almost hit us a few times on the fairway. If that can be addressed then I think the experience will be better for patrons and staff alike (one staff member was very rude about how behind the pace of play had become over the morning)

Course layout has always been challenging, but course and staff have really detoriated. Golf north knows how to buy courses in hard times while cutting costs to profit. Greens were burnt, or disease ridden in July. Carts are beat up buggies, unclean and not meeting covid cleaning standards. Covid distancing was not maintained nor was Masks indoors on staff maintained. Staff are poorly trained in customer service and management dont care about customers and just want your money. Overall experience is way below expectations. Highly NOT recommended.
