You will see the information of real people who purchase the products of Savannah Golf Links (Golf) in Brantford (Canada).
Now the business receives a score of 4.4 stars over 5 and this rating has been calculated on 127 reviews.
As you can see its rating is positive, and it is based on a high number of feddbacks, so we can say that the evaluation is quite accurate. If many people have bothered to rate when they've done well with the service, it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to write feddbacks when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Golf is classified in the category of Golf course.
A gem of a course. A must for the golf calendar.
Beautifully kept, awesome landscape, and the greens are in great shape! The only complaint I have is that they don't serve any hot food (besides a hot dog) at the between-nines window. Don't have it on the menu if you don't wanna serve it, or better yet have people call in their orders at the start of the 9th hole.
I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all the help Chris the manager has always given myself and my friends. Excellent customer service Chris and great course!
Great course, value and course conditions are excellent!
So nice golf course.
This is one of my favorite courses . Great shape Greens were rolling nice a must play !!!
Clean, great course..
The staff is amazing. The course is beautiful but challenging. Love to walk this course it is picture perfect.
Stunning course. Lots of fun!
Very nice golf course
Great golf course, lots of character and almost all the holes are truly unique. Shorter course than most, it makes up for it with tight fairways and small greens. In my experience, from the back tees, it is tougher than most of the public courses in the area, rewarding those who are straight off the tee, make accurate approach shots and a solid chipping game. That said, beginners and intermediatea playing from the whites and blues will find the course is still very manageable and will not be punished for mishits. This is the course where I enjoyed it at a 25 HCP and still enjoy it at an 8 HCP. The course is very well maintained and always in excellent condition. The tees and fairways are almost always in well above my expectations and the bunkers are usually well kept, but typical for a public golf course. Although I find the greens are slower than other courses public courses in the area, they are significantly more consistent, an extremely underrated quality in golf greens, and are almost always in great condition, rarely finding old unattended ball marks. The owner and superintendent work tirelessly to keep the course it great shape. It will be one of the few courses where you'll see the owner on the course working alongside his staff in the morning. Unfortunately, the course only has a small putting green and two small hitting bays to warm up on, but the practice is in great condition and has lots of variety to get a good feel for the greens before your round. For those interested, there is a driving range just south of the 401 if your coming from that direction. The course is usually not very busy, except for the odd peak times (i.e. weekend mornings), but even then, the course plays just under 4 hours; at the very most, less than 4.5 hours, although I can't remember the last time it took me that long to play a round during a busy time. Otherwise, I can sail around the course in 3.5 hours if there is no one in front of me. Saturday and Sunday late afternoon I find are the best times if you're looking to get a quick round in. The staff are very friendly and extremely accommodating. Chris Rusk, the head pro, is one of the best customer representatives I have encountered and an all around nice guy. Julia, the owners daughter, is very friendly and welcoming, and is often working the bar or beer cart on hot summer days. Joanne in the kitchen can cook up a storm and has been very accommodating to my dietary restrictions. To conclude, I've played almost all the public courses in the area and I can say, by far, it is one of the best all around public courses in the tri-city area. Savannah has truly put together a one-of-a-kind golf course. PS. They have swans on their golf course, and even had babies the last two years. See the photos attached!

Good course. Great weather.
Savannah Golf Links is a picturesque course located just on the South East corner of Cambridge. Named after the Savannah tree it is a par 71 course with plenty of challenging holes. Now that I know the course, I should enjoy it even more. As for the staff, I found them very accommodating and friendly. A great time was had by our group. Fantastic job people! ????????????????
Good course nice greens very well kept
Best course in the Cambridge area!
Great course if not the best around KW Cambridge, this year the price went up quite abit but again every courses also went up as well, but if i i had to Choose between $70plus Course this one would be it.
Course was in great shape. Had some real challenges short and long. Overall im happy with the course. What really bothered us as a 4some was waiting every hole from a 2some that was in a cart hacking every shot. With the marshal letting it go and not letting is play thru. I understand its a 2some and we were a 4some, but they were clearly new to golf and held us up everyhole. Also the were a few holes near the end of the round where we had to wait to hit our approach shots and the marshal was repairing divots on the greens. He saw us waiting and still kept going. So needless to say that was a little frustrating too. But overall i would golf here again. Great course.
Decent track.
All the holes were well kept up and were super nice to play on
Gorgeous
Great clean coarse! Fun to play.
Great shape..greens a little off line.. otherwise really nice layout..
I can 3 putt with the best of them on this track. Course is well kept, challenging, and plenty long from back tees. This is what public golf should strive to be. if you enjoy hiking, go check out the tree lines between the holes, I left about 10 balls for you.
One of my favourite local courses!
Nice reception hall for a small wedding!
Had not been but was impressed. Nice course and the staff were fantastic to us.
Beautiful course
Beautiful course, challenging but not infuriating. One of my favourite local courses.
Great
Always like playing here May find 1st time difficult. Knowing where to put your tee shots will make you want to come back Course kept in great condition
Haven't been in a longtime and had a great experience, 4 tee blocks for the Pro experience. Very challenging where at times should lay up, great for using clubs that you normally wouldn't use. Awesome scenery of old cobblestone still lying around. Make it an experience for yourself!!⛳????️♂️????️♀️
Great course, great staff, always friendly and helpful.... very tough from back tees so higher handicaps should stick to the white tees!!
Course is in great shape .
Good pace, nice course. Definitely a shot maker's course. Gotta think each shot through. Classic golf!
My boyfriend and I play this course at least once a week and we love it. We've been going there for 2 years now, and it's absolutely gorgeous. The people are amazing, Chris and Jordan, Bill, the girls upstairs, everyone is so nice, they really make the whole experience amazing. We have a hard time playing at other courses now because we just love going there! I would recommend to anyone! You guys rock!!!!
Very pretty course! A lot of elevation changes.
Good course with some interesting holes that will make you think
Great course to play. Challenging and rewarding. Staff is great.
Very nice golf course and not too expensive to play a round
Great Shape. Very challenging. Friday afternoon $50 with cart.
Great place to play a round of golf alone or with friends. Friendly service in the pro shop and just a fun yet challenging course all around.
We paid $105 for 9 holes. We had an unfortunate experience with the marshal who was extremely rude and screamed at us several times. We were treated like utter trash which is why we left and got a refund. We will never go there ever again and we recommend you never even try this place. Give your money to people who will treat you like decent human beings. Worst experience we have ever had while golfing.
Love this place. A great course and very reasonably priced.
Nice course
Horrid. Go golfing with my partner all the time to watch in 30+ courses no problem. They end up telling me to go home then proceeded to tell me to come back if I want to spend 20$ to watch. Will never be coming here again and will be telling our golfing group of friends the same! SCAM
lovely spot
Good course and reasonably priced
Great shape and friendly staff.
Always a great time at Savannah Golf course. Called ahead for a time and was informed of a road closure by a very polite employee. Course managed well, play moves along and it is in great shaped. Try it, if you dare!
NOT FOR NEWBIES! Tight fairways, lots a water, elevation changes, absolutely need to play smart here an have good course management skills. Over all great course for the above average golfer. Unfortunately it tends to get over ridden by weekend warrior beer drinkers and whackers who feel they have to play from the blues (half the time don"t get it past the ladies tee's. (D*** OUT)) All because they have very reasonable green fee's. But absolutely one of the best courses in the whole K-W-Camb. area (public). I have played golf for 35+ years all over Canada and U.S. This course is nice and long! P.S. below average and whackers be prepared to loose ALOT of golf balls!
This course is a gem and fun to play.
Very friendy, good Course and helpfull Marshall.
Only did the front 9 but I'll definitely be back next season to try the back aswell! Amazing course! Wide fairways and nicely placed greens ???? definitely a hidden gem
Not super long course, but hilly, target golf.
Excellent golf course
Rude costumer service ! Never coming back! And I wouldnt suggest anyone to go either. They don't deserve our money!
Zero respect for customers. Be prepared for pressured golfing with disrespectful employees.
Gorgeous course on the south edge of Cambridge. Some wicked doglegs and a few crazy greens makes this course tough, but super fun to play. Staff is amazing and the grounds crew was out doing upkeep everywhere everywhere. They were ball spotters for most of our drives and we're always offering yardage. My favourite round of the year by far. Looking forward to playing again in the fall as the colours begin to change. Highly, highly recommend.
A wonderful smaller course that plays to around 6,000 yards. The condition of the course was very good the greens were smooth and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and courteous and the clubhouse looks fantastic with some great views on the patio. The course is quite tight and there is not a lot of room for error but it's short enough that you can gear down to Fairway Woods or even a hybrid off some of the tees quite easily. Both the fairways and the greens are undulating. The only caveat I have is that there are several holes where you can't really see the players out on the fairway and a bell system would really come in handy. The price was very good as well and I will definitely come back here.
Well kept. Interesting hole design. Well run.
Great golf, very affordable
Great course. Can't beat the wacky Wednesday deal.
Great course conditions into mid October with a great twilight deal.
Great golf
One of my favorites in the region. Great condition and reasonably priced, but a lot of tight target shots. Only drawback is the lack of a driving range.
Staff is AMAZING
One the best
What can I say? Friendly staff, amazing layout, fantastic greens and tee blocks. Owner is invested in the course. Well worth the hour drive from London.
lot of fun
This is truly a track to come out and play. With the staff being very friendly and professional, it makes for a great experience. I've been playing here since 1999 and the course gets more beautiful every year I play it. For the best deal in town won't get much better than this place. Always a treat!!!
Great Golf Course. Course in wonderful shape
Absolutely terrible place.
Nice course for the price!
Great course condition and variety of holes.
Great course in great shape. A good challenge requiring straight shots and course management.
Nice challenging course. You need a power card. Or a strong heart to walk this coursr
Great condition and staff
In my opinion the is the best value in a public course in the Waterloo region. The pace of play is excellent. Always in immaculate condition. The course is very tight and forces you to use every club in your bag. The staff and owners genuinely care about their customers and want them to enjoy themselves. Facilities are always clean.
Course is unbeatable for the prices, always at a decent pace. Impossible to ask for more.
Nice course, there for a family tournament handled well
Friendly staff, challenging and interesting layout, in great shape and an excellent value.
Great course will go back for sure
Good shape for the time of year, charged summer rates, however it was during covid and demand was still high
Amazing golf course! Beautifully maintained. Food at club house was great! Favorite course in Cambridge area.
Love this course
Came from London to play this course and am quite glad I did. It was worth the drive. The course is well manicured and quite scenic. Greens are in great shape and make for some very challenging putts. The layout of the course is such that every hole has a unique challenge and can be played in a variety of different ways. You have to really think about shot placement. Club house, proshop, and all course amenities were really nice too. Back deck overlooking a couple of the holes make it a nice spot for a cool beverage after your round. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. If I had one negative ( and I only had the one ) it would be that the 7th green is close to the practice green. We almost got hit by someone that overshot his approach. Other than that, I would highly recommend this course and look forward to playing it again.
Just my opinion, but anybody who gave this course anything less than 5 stars for what it provides does not know the game of golf. It's not a long course, even from the back tees, but this track makes you play golf. You can't overpower it, if you try, it will make you pay for a small mistake. That's why it's my favorite golf course in this region, it challenges all parts of your game, makes you think, and anyone can play it if you play smart. It gives you a good round every time, It's always in good shape and consistent , and as for the staff...they can't fix your bad hair day, but they are an awesome team. Thanks to the team at Savanna. (now go play there)
Beautiful course
How an owner behaves with his customers and staff is one of the best indicators of a business. Sadly, the owner/GM of this course, John Madeiros, isn't good on either of those fronts. We had the unpleasant experience of being the group to play right in front of him. From the 2nd hole itself, he pressured his staff to come tell us to speed things up, and rush along since the owner is behind us. We skipped hole 3 to allow him play at the pace he wants but he drove his cart up to us on hole 4 tee, only to tell us the same thing and say that "you're costing me money" because our group wasn't the greatest at putting. Similar incidents occurred with him the rest of the day and while we offered to let him pass ahead of us (with no one playing behind him) he chose to decline it, but keep the pressure on us for no reason even though the course was relatively empty that day. However, the rest of the staff is some of the nicest people. At the end of our round, multiple staff members apologized to us for the owner's rudeness and understood the difficult situation we were faced with by playing in front of him. This to me, is a prime example of an owner who doesn't care for his customers and staff, but only the money he pockets. Long story short, good course, great staff, but if you have to play in front of/behind the owner himself -- may god be with you!
great course!!!
Nice course. Tight enough and not exceptionally long. Water and sand in strategic places
Great condition but tight
Great course, condition was excellent and price is very fair.
I was driving to the course when I recieved a call asking if we were still coming. We were running behind, but would make it for the tee off time. When we arrived, the clubhouse was totally understanding. We mentioned we could let a group go before us if necessary, but there was no one behind us for the next two openings, as described by the clubhouse. We walked up the the to the starter and approach the tee blocks when we hear, "you can't play hole 1, you're already 4 minutes behind.. walk up and play hole 2.." When we refused as there was no one behind us and the clubhouse mentioned we were okay, the starter screamed at us and said they'd give us our money back and to leave. We ended up walking to the second tee block and were HOUNDED the rest of the day to hurry the pace of play... We were a twosome that finished our round in under 4 hours walking... Good tight course, nice clubhouse (and staff), TERRIBLE starters and Marshall's.
Great track, exceptional greens
Excellent, thanks very much!
Such a nice course. Grounds crew do a hell of job keeping the course in top shape.
Course was in good shape and staff were good.
we were not slowing anybody down but where harrased by the marshall 3 times to speed up and not very friendly like .your holding up 150 golfers the lady in the clubhouse came to tell us while were putting on 9.the group behind us said there was no problem when we offered them to play through and they said no..we finished in 4 hours and 15 minutes and there was 4 of us..The people that own this course wont get any more of my money.Golf should be relaxing not rush rush rush.
Five Star Plus+. A tremendous public golf experience... notable critics say one of the very best in Ontario. AND on Wacky Wednesday's play Premium Golf all day long for one low price.
I've never experienced such horrible customer service as I did earlier this week. The Head Pro was more interested in earning some extra money by getting an extra group on the course even though it interrupted an event I had planned for one month.
One of my favorite courses. Well kept
I golfed with rob Keating on Sunday at savannah for the first time. Behind us was a group of 4 with a regular savanah golfer that I personally know. He was asked if we were slowing him down on the 10th hole and he said no. Savanna is known to be at least 5 hours +. We did the course in 4hrs 14mins with a 78 year old in our foursome. We were harassed by the sheriff 3 times and a lady at the 9th came from the clubhouse and screamed at us to hurry up. No wonder we were over 4hrs. Many golfers I know have the same complaints about tee times too close together and a slow course. Stop harassing the golfers and maybe that time can be put to better use. I’ll spend my money elsewhere.
Beautiful course with friendly helpful staff!
Amazing course and the most amazing staff. They really hit it home when they list it as a private course for the public. All year long the course is well maintained and perfect to play on even though a little challenging. The staff is super accommodating, friendly and just overall superb. Keep up the great work and thank you all for making it my golf home!
Beautiful course
Beautiful Golf Course. The nicest course in all of Cambridge.
One of the best courses in the region. Challenging, walkable, great conditions, and awesome variety.
Challenging! Keep it in the fairway.
very discriminatory. Marshall continually rushed us despite no group behind us. will not be going back.
Savannah is fantastic. The course layout is beautiful and in immaculate condition all year long. The staff is accommodating and welcoming. My favourite course in the region bar none.
This was an excellent course. Although half the day was in the rain the back nine was under beautiful conditions allowing my first golf experience at this course the ultimate exposure to its natural beauty. Would fully recommend anyone who's never played Savannah to get out there for the splendor this course offers. Keep it up Savannah.
Really nice course
First round of Covid golf. Lol. Course is in beautiful shape. Greens were fast today. Customer experience was great.
Pricey. Needs course management. Well kept grounds.
Amazing course, had a great time. I felt like playing a round of golf by myself and ended up pairing up with two and had a great experience. I will definitely be back. Keep doing what you're doing!
Great place going back forsure
A little wet but great place for golfing
Course is in good shape.
One of Cambridge hidden gems .. play the tips and you will get ever penny out of this course !
New carts, good pace, course is in fabulous shape
One of the better courses around with unique holes.
Would like to mention a few things about this wonderful course. Firstly the group of buddies that I play here with usually play around 20 to 25 rounds a season some seasons more. We drive in from different areas in the GTA. Secondly the course is always in great condition. The course is not extremely long but enough to challenge every type of golfer. The staff are wonderful special thanks to Chris the club pro what a joy. Finally to everyone you must try savannah you will not be disappointed.
Conditioning was great, overall maintenance of the facility was there and you could tell they are trying really hard. The first three hole stretch of the course are comparable to any top courses Ive played. The rest of the course is a bit quirky but overall I enjoyed the course and will be back.
I was given an underpar voucher as a present so I can't comment on the price but my dad paid as a senior, and was only 50$ with a cart. After reading some of the other reviews I will agree that the starter seemed a little miserable at first, but is actually a good guy. He gave our foursome some troubles with the golfcart arrangement but I'm glad we were able to get situated (long story). I think his personality might rub people off the wrong way, however he did a great job to make sure people got out started on time. Anyways... the course was amazing and in great condition!! This is a very scenic course and equally challenging. We all had a lot of fun and will definitly be coming back again.
Great course. Very well kept. Friendly staff. Course was fun and challenging.
Great staff and well taken care of the course.
Hidden gem
I love Savannah Golf Links! Great course and staff are very knowledgeable and friendly!
We had a wonderful experience today. The course is in excellent shape, the greens are awesome.
Lovely course with very picturesque scenery. Food service was great too, warden was a little over-bearing to play faster, despite the fact that we were on the tails of the people in front of us.
Great course. Have played there for years.
(Translated) It's very beautiful, but there are many tricky holes, so please refer to the course layout ❗ It's in quantity at the pro shop. (Original) とても綺麗ですけど、トリッキーなホールが多いのでコースレイアウトを参考に❗ 無量でプロショップにあります。
Great golf there
One of m y favorite Golf course I. Cambridge area
Decent & challenging course
A beautiful golf course
Beautiful course
Course was beautifully kept, however our round ( Saturday afternoon tee time) took 6 1/4 hours. Two of my foursome had to drive away before we finished.
Awesome condition especially after the downpour a few hours prior to playing.
Course was in excellent shape Greens were reasonably fast and had a great deal of roll which led to a lot of break on many of our putts. The staff were both helpful and very courteous. Only drawback was 38 degree heat. It was good that they had a cart to help out in that regard. It was a long drive but I enjoyed the round.
Nice course. Great Thursday afternoon league. Fantastic deal!
Great condition and very interesting layout. A great combination of long holes, tight holes and elevation changes. Definitely a course worth playing again and again.
Great course. Lots of fun.
Great time at Savannah. Course and staff are tops
Absolutely beautiful golf course. Always in amazing shape. I'd give it ten stars if I could.
Hidden gem!
Had the worst experience today golfing. I've golfed this year over 50 times and this course was the worst. We booked a tee time for 3 guys, one of the marshals came upto us while playing on the 8th hole and told us to speed it up after only 1.5 hours into the front 9. The regulars behind us were driving golf balls before we were even on the putting green. My friend got hit rite in the leg, We told the marshal and he laughed at us and told us we should play faster so that doesn't happen. After that we were harassed by the Marshall watching us play the whole back 9 and would follow us in his cart. Put pressure on us to play fast. were not coming back here to play. Very rude people who only cater to the golf members. We were treated like trash.
4 hour round this morning. Some pooling in some areas with pumps active. Greens were a bit sandy, but still early in the season
Great course in really good condition
Just attended my husband's work Christmas party there over the weekend. For a Christmas party they had no decorations at all except a mediocre tree that my 6 year old nephew could have decorated better. I ordered a glass of wine and the glass was disgusting. Hard water stains. The bread was hard. The salad (greens and red onion with oil and vinegar) was very bitter. The main course was nothing to write home about. Each table got a one liter bottle of water for 8 people. A gentleman at our table was told he would have to buy the next bottle for $3 but we later found out the pop was free. The coffee was cold. The "dessert" consisted of a variety of 4 squares. Throughout the entire evening the lighting kept flickering like it would go out any second. The ladies room stank of sewage. I truly hope that my husband's company didn't pay much for this awful service. And I truly hope they never book there again.
Great challenge well maintained
Very nice
Closed for winter/ summer -manicured greens - busy.
Great course but my mistake was playing on a Saturday behind too many 30+handicappers playing the back tees without a Marshal
Great course! It's very well maintained and not just straight holes.
Great course. You need precision not length. In good shape and super good onion rings with your beer on the 19th.
What a beautiful golf course! greens are outstanding, the marshall on the first tee was very welcoming and a great people person.price is more than fair.we did use coupons.lol.but anyone can.i play everywhere in the region and this is one of my top 3 courses.keep u the good work Savannah!
Great condition for October. Greens quick but fair
Savannah is my favourite golf course. The course is challenging but playable even for a beginner. The location is beautiful and always well maintained. Rates are very reasonable. Comfortable clubhouse.
Challenging course from the green tee box. The various elevations from hole to hole gives the player full use of most clubs in the bag.
Course is in alright shape, yet there are many holes that are just not enjoyable to play. Then there is the staff, the guy that helped me was rude and short worded. Not to mention it took him forever to come downstairs to collect my money or to purchase a coffee, not impressed with the front of house at all. I would look else where for a golf game, since there are many great options close by with incredible staff and course layout.
Great golf course!
Chanlenging course
To much for what it is
In my own opinion, one of the better golf courses in our area. Greens, fairways and tee boxes are always in phenomenal shape. The course layout is fantastic. Can't say enough good things about it.
Great stop for a drink half way of our cycling trip
Had a great day
Course was in good shape and would have enjoyed my round if the Marshall didn't try to rush our group through. We played a 4hr5min walking round and we're approached twice to speed up our play.
A wonderful Golf Course. Excellent greens. A great all-around experience. Highly recommended.
Nice course but tight fairways and holes are bunched together that balls flying in from everywhere. Greens and tee boxes are also really close by its distracting and intrusive.
Beautiful course, well groomed, well kept. This is a hidden gem.
The course is in Amazing shape. Challenging and beautiful. We had a wonderful time, and didn't feel pressured. Was awesome. Clean and courteous. Can't wait to go again!
Coarse was in great shape and reasonable.friendly people
Really enjoyed the course
Great awesome course
Savannah is by far the BEST golf course around! We try to play once a week, although I would like to go more. Such a beautiful course that is very well maintained. Love seeing all of the turtles, swans, geese, etc. ALL of the staff are amazing and so nice unlike many other course we’ve been to. I don’t know why anyone would give this course anything less than 5 stars. Thank you.
Tremendously beautiful course. Lots of elevation changes. Fairly tight course although I played another Moote course last week called the Oaks of St. George which was very (too) narrow. This course was much better. I loved 11 of 18 holes and there was probably 2-3 more holes that were pretty good. I played Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. the pace of play was fast. I finished at 5:30. It only cost $30 for the round. If I lived closer I would play here all of the time. If you live any near here it's a must play.
Love that coarse
Very well maintained best public course in the region very tricky.
I play this course once a year in a Shriners tournament. Course is always in fantastic shape. Staff are friendly and the starters are respectful and a joy to talk with prior to teeing off. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of golf you get. Definitely going to make an effort to visit more frequently.
Very nice course, we'll maintained staff are great the food good too
Great track
Great golf
It's definitely a 5 star course in Cambridge. Somewhat difficult but a nicely groomed. Definitely a place to enough with friends. Staff very friendly.
Simply just a great place to play, and I beleive the best value for your buck in SW Ontario. Chris Rusk and his team always freindly, welcoming and accomidating even during this most interesting of seasons with all of the covid considerations. Just go play Savanah Links, you won't be disapointed.!
Great golf venue
Favorite golf course. Nice and long and very nice.
Pace of play was awful!!! Enjoyable course.
Fun course
Always love the course. Keep it straight or be prepared to lose 1/2 dozen balls
Great golf course we'll maintained grounds
Beautiful public golf course. Lots of hills! Walking was doable but tiring :)
Completely disgusted with the way this course operates. I am posting this review that is well within my rights Me and a friend went on our day off and we’re the only ones on the course. Yet the power tripping Marshall was telling us to hurry up constantly, with no one else on the course. I just didn’t understand his theory behind this matter. Not to mention the GM thinks it’s a course close to pebble beach, yet it clearly isn’t. Please guys, let’s try to learn some customer service skills and keep up with that pace! Pun intended! Cheers
Very nice golf course.
Course in great shape. Greens were airated a month ago and now smooth and fast for this time of year. Nice course. Will be back. A hidden gem in Cambridge.
Beautiful course first time there would go back definitely. Food was not great.
Love/hate relationship, I like the course its well kept and a little challenging on some holes BUT no refreshments on course and the restaurant is a joke. Savannah you are missing out on buisness in your restaurant and in the course. I play league here but likely won't be back because of those 2 reasons
Very well maintained beautiful coarse
Tough course with great elevation changes. Take a cart if you are out of shape. You'll thank me later.
Very friendly and well taken care of golf course.
We were one of the 1st groups to play this picturesque golf course in May of 1998 when it first opened , it had a small trailer for a pro shop and a shorter layout , newly staked trees everywhere , and we were expecting an "executive" golf course feel. We were proven wrong , blown away by the elevations, the design of each hole, the condition of the course, and how tough but fair the course played . We drove from Niagara Falls 1-2 times a month for 5 years afterwards , always enjoying being tested and using every club in the bag. We very rarely tamed this course , and we were a group of 4 decent golfers with a +2 handicap to 8 handicap. We came back to play this week, nearly 15 years later , and were so impressed at how mature this course has become. Chris in the pro shop is a professional, very personable and welcoming. He started our day off as if we were playing TPC Sawgrass , and we've played there. The starter was on que , and everyone was diligently grooming and working the course , but not interfering in even one shot played or in plain sight. We were impressed from start to finish. They take pride in their golf course and how they seem to work it without affecting even one shot played. The conditions were flawless. Savannah is one of the highlights of golf in Ontario. Every hole has it's own story and will test you. Hole #15 is still one of our favourites in North America. Put this golf course on your list, you will be back. You will use every club in your bag, and use your camera more than expected. We will be back, this was the most enjoyable round we've played in 2020. Cheers , Brett and Phil.
Fast rolling greens, narrow fairways a good challenge. We enjoyed our round here and cant wait to play it again.
Nice course. Well maintained with good staff.
Ok course in good shape a bit pricey for what it is but not bad.. Unfortunately won't be coming back here due to the club house manager/pro being extremely rude.. I go out to golf to relax and enjoy the day not to have the day ruined by someone who is a angry and rude. Hopefully that changes. The starter lady was lovely though.
Went there with 3 groups to play golf on Tuesday at 12.12. The greeter was helpful and pleasant. Was told that I could check into the pro shop. Got inside and was told by the lady behind the counter I was to early and couldn't sign in. Went back out side and found out from part of my group they had paid all ready. Greeter apologized. Went and sat on balcony for a while till I seen more of my group show up. Went back down and seen some more of my group had their bags on carts. I asked the greeter can I now sign in and pay. He said yes. Went in side and again approached the pro shop woman and was told I was to early. Came out to the greeter and told him she says I am early. He went in and spoke to the pro shop woman. He came out and said I could go in and pay now. Went in with one of the guys from my group, he paid with his debit card. I approached the pro shop woman to pay cash and she informs me that they dont accept cash. Call buddy back to pay for me with his debit card. Now when I go back out side to my golf group I mentioned that the course doesnt accept cash. I am told by two players that they paid in cash. As a front line worker for the course she was a poor example on how to treat golfers at her course. I gave a 4 star rating because of how well the course was kept and how I was treated by all the other employees.
Great course, well priced
We have found slow play
Nice short course. Good staff.
Nice course. The people who work there are very friendly. I would go back in a heart beat.
First time at your facility and I enjoyed the elevation changes on your course, the greens and fairways were very well maintained. The reason I give only 3 stars is due to the fact that the marshal on Hole 1 that tells us when to tee off became very belligerent with my golf partner for asking Covid related questions. I also witnessed this same Marshall behaving in this horrible manner with other golfers. It leaves a sour taste in my mouth to start a round of golf after witnessing an employee of the course treat guests in such a poor manner.
I’m not one to write bad reviews. I work in the customer service industry. I was very much looking forward to coming to your golf course. However before we even got to the first Tee my friend and I were being harassed because of our inexperience. Saying “try harder” from the staff after we said we would try our best to keep up. The staff were babysitting us and watching us the whole time we were golfing, while we actually did keep up. Paying 45.00 each making us feel unwelcome because we were inexperienced. It’s a beautiful course but I did not enjoy my time because of the pressure. Unfortunately I would not recommend any young female beginner to golf at this course.
