Short course with lots of character. It's in great condition and once the clubhouse construction is completed it will escalate up the ranks in area. I think if they condensed the 27 holes into 18, and factoring in the amazing clubhouse, it could draw many people to play there. It's going to be high quality location to host a wedding also!

We made a trip out to Monthill golf and country club formally known as the old Sundrum I first golfed there 32 years ago we called it the cow pasture coarse...LOL...but today it operates as Monthill I highly recommend this coarse even though it is not 100% complete the coarse offers a well groomed 3 nine hole coarse that has plenty of shade. The clubhouse even though not totally complete is absolutely gorgeous I have included pictures to give you an idea. We would definitely golf this coarse again.????️‍♀️????????️‍♀️????????️‍♀️

Yep loved it, excellent carts with intelligent scoring screens. Fairways and greens very nice, tee off ground a little firm to place tee. Would definitely go again, nice job!

decent course..wise to stay on fairways wich are for better part are tree lined..hard to keep ball on greens with approach shot..firm & sloping ....amazing clubhouse

The courses are in decent shape. The fairways are green but a little hard but more roll for sure. I found the greens were pretty slow and also hard. I never had to repair a single ball mark or anyone elses either. Their cart prices are reasonable compared to some courses in the area which are gouging golfers this summer. Almost all tee times for all courses on Golfnow are for walking rate only. With the hot and dry summer we've had most courses are in reasonably decent shape.

They have done a great job of taking a cow pasture-ish golf course and making it into a good golf course. I used to playthere back when it was another name. Many drivable par 4's as well as some challenging holes. The club house is amazing! Great food as well and awesome staff.

This course allows 6 balls - if you're happy having a round longer than 5 hours it's worth visiting. Complained to the club although couldn't do anything about it - other than ask what the people looked like?

Absolutely horrible experience, got kicked off early and was asked to tip a person at the club house to play the last 2 holes. "Money talks" is their catch phrase.

I was considering booking my wedding here but after a tour of the venue, I was not able to get a hold of Laura, the events manager. She answered my first questions by email but when I wanted to get more information and was planning to book the venue, I left phone messages and emails and never heard back. This would be a beautiful place for a wedding but it's unfortunate that there was a lack of communication and follow up. Luckily I have found another venue.

Great service both the waiter and waitress we had today were top notch....friendly, courteous and great entertainment!! On their game for being their first day back after the pandemic. Looking forward to going back and enjoying the beautiful patio again and again

Picturesque course, good layout. The pub/restaurant A+! Great carts with GPS. Excellent fairways & greens. Great staff to. Very tough getting out of fescue/rough grass. Would be 5* except quite a number of groups throughout course had loud music playing, if you like quieter conditions. Overall priced right. Would play again.

Laura McNally was very unprofessional. I wanted to book my wedding here after a consultation, and after looking at a few places, I decided to choose Monthill for the outdoor reception. However, I couldn't get a hold of Laura. Left 2 voice mails, asked 2 times for her to send photos of a complete outdoor wedding, and there was no follow up or phone call back. If I am paying close to $200 per plate. Seriously, I shouldn't have to chase you to book my wedding. Any acknowledgement would've sufficed. I have happily found a venue else where. Cheers.

Massive modern facility! I golf and eat at this facility. As a female, it is great to have nice bathrooms ???? at a golf course. The course is "textbook tougher" but its challenges are well received. I've played on Blue, Red and Gold. The Twilight rate is perfect for long sunny days. Food is so good that we drive out to just eat there. We do wish the beef burger comes back as it is popular with our golf group!

It's better than when it was sundrim but not by much. With the exception of the restaurant which is supposed to be 5 star and with the new clubhouse I think that's probably true since there aren't a lot of places that serve wagu steak on its menu.

This is an amazing serene setting. Lovely course, challenging and yet not over whelming! Like everyone says, spectacular club house. Next time we will be sure to try the food, it looks amazing!!! HOWEVER, no marshall… this was truly uncomfortable as the group in front of us, stalled, cavorted and antagonized people waiting. They were the only group with 3 open holes in front of them. It is standard protocol in golf etiquette to allow faster players to play through, however without a marshall, confrontations will happen as long as this continues. It makes play uncomfortable and slightly stressful. Other than that, amazing location, course and the staff as well should be mentioned, they are helpful and friendly, just what you look for when you are taking time off.

The course was nice and well maintained. Staff were great. No one cared however that there were large groups of golfers with as many as eight and a few different groups again greater than four players running around flitting from hole to hole out of order and some with lots of alcohol in them. Totally unhinged although I suspect some were owners, but I don't know for sure what their connection to the course was. Unless the group golf ends and they run it like a normal golf course I would avoid this place.

I DJed a wedding here and Mariah, a staff member here, made everything so wonderful and pleasant! She took care of all the vendors, went above and beyond to help us do the best job we could. It's a beautiful place and because of her and this experience I highly, highly recommend this venue!!

Great course, that is very well taken care of. For the price, it's a tremendous value. Staff is very friendly. The clubhouse is amazing. A far cry from the old Barn it used to be! The GPS aided carts as well are very cool. It's an excellent bargain. It can though play a little slow. Aside from that - the course is a great deal. Definitely a course worth playing.

Monthill hosted my bridal shower yesterday and they did NOT disappoint. Melissa is absolutely amazing and goes so above and beyond. The servers and staff were top knotch and so attentive and so good at their job. It was absolutely perfect. They were all so kind! The food was perfection. The set up was stunning and it was ran perfectly. At one point we got super hot and the staff brought out massive fans to cool us down without even being told. I can not recommend Monthill enough for your special events. Truly so impressed with them!

The kitchen made lots of noise during the wedding ceremony here recently. Not sure if the walls need more insulation or they simply left a door open while running a blender. Either way it wasn't very professional, hope they sort that out. Other than that, amazing place and staff.

Enjoyed the course .wth the trees and the topography felt like you were playing in northern Ontario . Super course challenging for the average golfer .we walked the course red/gold quite the hike .the club house was fantastic .had a tasty snack on the wonderful patio overlooking the tees .food prices very reasonable . Great days golf weather was trying not to cooperate.. Will certainly make this a regular stop for my golfing summer .. I would give a four and a half .

Went there for wedding. Nice venue but of course, due to government over reach, it was outside under terrace and in a tent. No complaints there. The food: Choice of chicken or steak. It was "airport chicken." That's where the wing is still attached to the breast. Not bad. I had "baseball sirloin steak." That's a chuck of sirloin that is rounder rather than flatter. Well..... That was one of the toughest, oddest flavoured steak I'd ever been served. Two bites and I left it. It was terrible. In my opinion, the flavour was caused by either too long in a cheap red wine marinade or it had gone off. I've been cooking steaks for decades and for a sirloin, this was way too tough. Oh ya, it was served with what appeared to be two Parisian potatos, cut in half. The salad allegedly had a Balsamic dressing. They sure didn't overdo the dressing. Best part: The Krispy Kreme, honey glazed, donut tree. Two of those and two cups of tea got me through the evening. Coming home, driving thru Caledonia, the A&W sure was tempting.

Very impressed with this course! The course is well kept and the clubhouse is beautiful. Would like to see them "pretty up" some of the water hazards a bit. (My ball managed to find most of them lol). We played Gold and Blue and I expect to upgrade my review to 5 starts once I get back out to try the red course!

Truly exceptional. Grounds are immaculately kept, and the value for $$$ can't be beat. Food is amazing, and the golf is challenging...but fair. Couldn't recommend higher!

The course is absolutely amazing. So well kept and perfect greens. The staff is incredibly friendly, accommodating and kind. The clubhouse is insanity. It is incredibly well done. We were walking through it just shocked how overwhelmingly beautiful it is. We ordered food from the steakhouse and it was absolutely phenomenal. We all left with our minds blown from how good the meals were and how great the young girl serving us was (9/4/21). I can’t say enough great things about our experience and we will definitely be heading back soon.

What a great venue. It's stunning. Both for outdoor wedding ceremonies and indoor receptions. We did a live streaming wedding ceremony and we were the DJs for the reception. Staff was awesome and food was fantastic. Thank you.
